Things were back to normal after the game NERVE had ended. A change that had happened after was the amount of time Addison and Rin spent together. They seemed to be enjoying each other's company more than before and Yukio and Dakotah took notice. Yukio didn't really care and Dakotah was happy about it though he was a little jealous. He knew there was no chance for him with his best friend and he made peace with that but he knew he couldn't be as lovey dovey with her as much as before. He also didn't want to be a third wheel so whenever the weekend hit, he'd go on dates with girls to stay out of the house as much as he could during the day. He knew Addy knew what he was doing and was probably a little hurt by it though she didn't do anything about it. She knew him inside and out and knew that if he wanted help, he would ask her for it. But instead he's choosing to be sad on his own and he appreciates the space she's giving him to do it. He knew she will just wait until he works it out on his own or decides to come and talk to her about whatever is bothering him.
Dakotah never had any specific taste in girls he thought all of them were attractive. The only thing they all had to do was be nice to his best friend and not come between them or stab them in the back. Some of the girls he took out were cute and fun to date but they turned out to be fake and clingy whenever Addison was around, and rude to her when they thought he wasn't looking. He hated when girls he became interested in treated her like that. It just made things so much harder whenever he wanted to actively look for a girl to have a relationship.
One hot Sunday, Addison had gone with Rin to the store when he said he had to go get some vitamin water or something for Yukio and asked if she wanted to come. Lately they've spent a lot of time together to the point that she asked him to start calling her Addy. He thought the nickname was cute and was happy to get to call her something no one else does.
Since it was so hot Addy had on a cute peach colored spaghetti strap tank top that crossed behind her neck and dark blue denim shorts. It definitely got Rin's attention as he kept looking at her as she walked in front of him and noticed other males looking in her direction too. He caught himself glaring at each one as they past. Some took notice and would hold up their hands, others would give him a thumbs up, and the ones he hated most would smirk at him.
Once they were at the store, Addy wandered around and bought a boba and the mineral water she knew Rin would forget while she waited for him to finally decide what ice cream he wanted, and watched as he bought TWO. Things were peaceful between them. Quiet and peaceful.
Normally Rin was sure he would've been complaining about the heat to himself if he were alone but since Addy was with him, he couldn't help but be happy with her presence nearby.
Arriving at the twin's room, Addy didn't even hesitate to sit on one of their beds as if it were a normal occurrence to have her in their room.
"What are you doing?" Yukio asked her.
"Siting?" She asked more than stated.
"No, I meant, with us? Why aren't you with Dakotah?"
"Oh. Because he's on a date and I'm not about to be a third wheel." She answered easily before making a face. "But if he ends up bringing her here, I might bounce. I hate when the girls get loud, as if they need to prove to him they are enjoying his third leg."
Yukio had a face of disgust while Rin was as clueless as usual.
"Hey, why don't you have a boyfriend Addison?" Rin asked curiously, "Then you guys can go on double dates or something."
"No, it doesn't work like that, Rin." She tried to explain to the dunce. "I'm always with him so any girl he goes after is usually intimidated by our closeness." At that Yukio made a noise that suspiciously sounded like a snort.
Ignoring it, Addison continued, "So this is our way of giving the girl peace of mind to have him all to themselves."
"Oh…" Rin says but anyone can see he was still confused.
It was quiet in the room for a minute until Rin broke the silence. "Geez can this room get any hotter? I mean, this is a rich kids school so get some AC in here you know?"
"This building is really old so it can't be helped." Yukio said. "We can deal with it. It's not like we grew up with Air Conditioning anyway. We just have to make do with the fan. Anyway, did you get the mineral water I asked for?"
I smirked at the face Rin made when he suddenly remembered that the whole reason he went to the store in the first place was to get water for the two of them. "Oh, crap, I forgot!" I laughed as he tried to make an excuse for himself while I dug in my bag for the water I bought.
"I knew he would forget because why wouldn't he?" I said to get Yukio's attention before tossing him the bottle. He nodded in thanks before opening it and taking a drink. "Alright, Rin, you get back to studying."
I pulled out my phone and connected my earpods, leaving one out so I can hear any conversations while I listened to music to pass the time.
It didn't take long before Rin started complaining and I listened quietly to their conversation about Exwires and Paladin's, leading up to Rin using his powers too much.
"If you keep doing things like that. Well then, Satan's power will completely consume you!" Yukio lectured his brother. The two of them immediately went into an argument. It was a little upsetting to hear Shiemi's name be thrown into the argument even though I had no right to be upset, it's not like I'm dating Rin anyway.
Finally having enough of their arguing I got up and stepped in between them just as Rin went to slap Yukio. But instead of hitting his brother, he hit me across the cheek with enough force to knock me back a little and my elbow knocked Yukio's glasses into the air and they landed on his head after hitting the ceiling and breaking.
Everything was quiet until Rin tried to deflect the tension and laugh at the glasses mishap. I was about to walk out find something to do to relieve my anger because I really couldn't transform in the dorm room when Yukio's phone rang.
I watched as Yukio put on a new pair of glasses before he surprised me by grabbing me by the arm and dragging me after him when he used a key on the door.
Hearing Rin walking through behind us, Yukio ignored him as he turned to look at me slightly where Rin's hand had connected. "Are you felling ok?" he asked me.
I was surprised but then I figured he was probably told by Mephisto that I transform into a full fledge demon when I'm pissed enough. "Yeah, I guess." I answered, not really sure. "I just need to cool off and I'll be fine.
"I thought so." He agreed, "That's why I brought you along. You could help me exercise a demon and blow off some steam."
I was going to turning him down knowing that this was the day Rin meets Kuro but we had arrived at the guard gate and Yukio went into serious mood.
"Yukio Okumura, Intermediate Exorcist First Class." He stated his rank to a guard before pointing at me. "Addison Ragnarok, Exwire and American Demon. She'd here to help me as I am on watch since her Charge is otherwise indisposed."
That really wasn't the case but we had to tell the guards something since Daktoh wasn't here to "watch over me". I really hated that I had no freedom outside of the dorms and the high school.
We ran with the guard as he explained the situation to Yukio. I was honestly excited to meet Kuro. He was a favorite character of mine in the show and he was just so adorable in both his forms!
"You Liars! You're all Liars!" I heard the anger in Kuro's voice while refused to believe his master was dead. I followed Yukio over to guard to ask about the situation and when he said he would take him down I clicked my tongue against my teeth in annoyance. He didn't even consider trying to talk him down or offer himself as a master.
Without command, the other exorcist began firing at Kuro and I was already a little peeved by the situation and getting slapped earlier so I wasn't thinking clearly when jumped in front of them and shouted, "What the hell are you doing?! Don't hurt him!"
Nobody was happy to see me there and someone definitely made it clear. "Get out of the way demon unless you want to accidentally get shot! It would be SUCH a tragedy wouldn't it?"
I snarled at the unknown man until someone walked up behind me and held a gun to my head. This person pushed against my shoulder until I was our of the line of fire and they pushed me down onto my knees before kicking my back, making me fall face-first into the ground.
I could hear shouts from Rin but Yukio held him back. "Stop, Rin. It's her own fault, she has to deal with the consequences of going against Exorcist orders since she's a demon. She'll be fine, she's not stupid."
I laid on the ground with my hands above my head, I wasn't sure where the twins were standing but I hoped they couldn't see the tears of anger and humiliation running down my face. I didn't want to show this much weakness in front of these asshole Exorcists but being put in a position like this was always terrifying. And it was even more embarrassing for it to happen in front of your friends. All I could do was lay there and listen to everything going on nearby since I couldn't lift my head to see. Any movement I made caused the guard over me to shove their gun further into my back.
When the twins walked forward to get closer to the other Exorcists I saw Rin's hard look as he listened to Kuro's shouts. I couldn't help myself even though I knew he would help him on his own anyway. "Rin!" I shouted getting the gun smacked into the back of my head. "He's hurt and scared! Just talk to him!" The scene played out like it did in the anime and the shock of Rin literally using his head against Kuro made the guard watching me forget what he was doing so I was able to sit up without a problem.
When things settled down and Yukio got the guards off my back for being defiant we went on our way with Kuro in tow, following Rin around like a puppy. It was honestly adorable and I was slightly jealous….of both of them.
We hung out by the water while Yukio went and did some paperwork about the situation and documented that Kuro was now Rin's familiar. When he came out and Kuro smelt the sake, I literally coo'd at how cute he was when he was doing his excited dance for his present.
That same day Kuro and Dakotah met after Dakotah came home from whatever he was doing. He didn't have a problem with the cat but he definitely didn't pass up the opportunity to say he was more of a dog person while giving me "The Eyes". Yukio immediately picked up on it and gave him a withered look and Rin just says, "well who needs you anyway, Kuro's my familiar." Then Dakotah laid it on me that he had to leave that week to go home. Dakotah had to take the rest of the week and the first week of summer off early to go back for a family wedding. I had thought I was going to go to and I was excited to see his family again when he told me I can't and he was going to invite his new girlfriend instead. I was hurt at first but then he told me it was one of his cousin's weddings and it was the one that was marrying the demon-hater and though I was welcomed by his family, his cousin had to tell me that I wasn't invited as per her new husbands demands. I was miffed for the rest of the day but on Tuesday after school when it came time for him to leave, I gave him the happiest smile I could and told him to tell his family I missed them and to congratulate his cousin for me.
So much had happened during that weekend that I had completely forgot about something incredibly vital. THE WEEK MY BODY GOES INTO OVERDRIVE WITH HORMONES!
We were walking to school after saying our goodbyes to Kotah when I literally felt my hormones gush between my legs and I stopped mid-step in surprise. When I came to my senses, I turned and ran as fast as I could back to the dorms, ignoring Rin's shouts behind me. I was in panic the entire time because I had made any time to set up the basement to keep me locked up and Dakotah had accidentally taken the key with him anyway. I just figured I would lock myself in my room and spray the entire can of Febreze into the air to mask any scent of the boys because they had been pretty messy lately and Rin's jackets can be found almost anywhere in the dorm, forgotten. I ran past one of those and eyed it as I ran, subconsciously grabbing it on my way. I ran into my room and called out to my familiars, Cerberus and Barghest, to help guard the door while I was in this state. I told them not to let me leave this room until the cycle was over before locking my door. And that was where my mistake was, I gave them the wrong orders because it didn't take long before I heard someone fighting the demon dogs and yelling about letting him in. I should have known Rin would follow me but I didn't think about it before while I was trying to run away.
In moments my door was busted down and Rin came charging in demanding to know wat was wrong when the sight before him stopped the words from coming out of his mouth.
Before him sat one of his best friends, red in the face and tears streaming while curled up on her bed and holding one of his jackets to her face like she had been sniffing it. It was enough to make his mind go blank before he remembered that something was wrong.
"What's wrong Addy?" He asked her taking a step towards the girl.
"No! Don't! Stay away, please?" She shouts while curling further into herself in embarrassment and shame.
"Why?!" He said angrily, "What's happening to you? Are you hurt?"
"I'm fine! I just need to stay away from you right now! Please leave."
"Hell no! I'm not going to just leave you like this! What kind of friends would I be if I did?"
"A smart one!" Addison snarls.
"Is it that problem again?" Rin asks dumbly. "That thing that happens every month that Dakotah helps you with sometimes?"
She stiffens at this and that gave him the confirmation he needed. "Well he's not here right now so let me help you. What does he do? Please, let me help."
"NO!" She snarls again "Get Out, RIN!"
"NO!" He shouts back just as angrily. "Why can't I help? What makes Dakotah so special?"
"Because he understands what I'm going through! He's a part of my pack and he understands the risks. And he's an idiot!" she says through grit teeth.
"That's bullshit and you know it! We are all a part of our pack now, I see it! The way you are always in the back of the group, listening and watching everything around us to protect us like some kind of alpha! We should be able to help you if we please, so LET ME HELP YOU!"
"You can't!"
"Why can't I?"
"Yukio will be pissed." She tried to reason with him and make a valid excuse but he wasn't having it.
"Who gives a shit about Yukio! You're in pain right now, that's all I care about! What does Dakotah do to help!?" Rin demanded.
Addison couldn't take it any more, she had to get him out of the room and she couldn't control the rational part of her brain and emotions anymore. "He has sex with me!"
Rin was shocked into silence with this piece of information. His face grew red fand embarrassed from the confession. "Oh." He says quietly.
"Can you please leave me alone now?" Addison begs, "Before I do something stupid we'll all regret!"
The redness of Rin's face toned down a bit but it was still there as he became determined. "No." He states and looks at her as she flinches and looks at him from behind the jacket she still had clutched to her face. "I'm going to help you."
"NO!" Addison shouts as she gets up and makes a run for her door only to be stopped by her familiars.
"I'm sorry mistress. Your orders were not to let you out until the phase was done. Any decisions you make now are invalid." Cerberus says as he and Barghest get into defensive stances.
"Enough." Addison demands and makes a hand sign to dismiss them before they could attack. She was about to make a run for it when Rin reached out and grabbed her before she could. Knowing she was too weak to pull away and run she turned and jerked her hand as she ran ack to her bed and cried. Rin slowly stepped forward and reached for his jacket, pulling it away as he sat down on her bed in front of her.
"Please, let me help you Addison."
"No…." She says quietly burying her head in her blankets to hide. "You don't want to do this, you shouldn't!"

"I want to."
She looked at him in shock and couldn't look away from the determination in his eyes as he looked into hers.
"I'm sorry….."she says before leaning in and kissing him.
He kissed back and the kiss was sweet at first but in her state, Addison was impatient. She leaned closer, deepening the kiss and pushing him back a little as she straddled his lap. The kiss got more and more intense, and Rin's mind was blank as he went on instinct alone. Soon Addison was grinding on him and unbuttoned his shirt while feeling him up. It felt amazing to have her touch him like this. Slowly and shakily, he did the same to her and admired the way she looked sitting on him in her bra light blue bra and flush face. His eyes followed her hands as they went behind her and undid her bra. Rin practically became carnal and attacked her free breast with his hands and mouth. The situation got more heated as he did things instinctually and whenever he hesitated, Addison would guide him in the right direction that she wanted and when he was on top of her with no clothing between them, in the back of their minds, they knew things were never going to be the same again.
Then he penetrated.

Rin woke up later that day, confused as to why he wasn't in his room and why he wasn't in school when he felt a shift beside him and looked over. He blushed a deep scarlet when he laid eyes on his naked friend barely covered by a thin blanket. He then realized he, himself was naked and the memories of what happened hours prior hit him.
Rin was starting to hyperventilate when Addy stirred beside him, waking slightly and cuddle closer to him and giving him soft kisses against his collarbone and cheek. "Hey." She says quietly before slowly giving into sleep again. But Rin shifted to get a better look at her, trying to see if she regretted what happened.
She opened her eyes again to look at him as his eyes searched hers and she found herself lost in them. Her gaze softened and she leaned in, Rin did the same and closed his eyes as they kissed softly and shifted so he was laying above her to repeat what they did again.
Later that night they woke up to the sounds of their stomachs and Rin suggested going down to the kitchen to eat something but Addison denied it. "I can't leave my room for a week. I can't risk smelling Yukio or the same thing could happen. I need to stay away from any male scents as possible until its over so I usually fast until it's done."
Rin didn't like that answer so he offered to go to the kitchen and grab them some food to eat. Addison had no reason to disagree then and off he went as she was left alone with her thoughts.
In her mind, Addison was jumping for joy. She was in absolute HEAVEN! She JUST HAD SEX with RIN OKUMURA. She could literally die happy now as one of her all time anime fantasies just happened. Her thoughts started to wonder as to what would happen now and if it would change the plot of the anime a little and if he would forget about Shiemi all together. She didn't dare let those thoughts go to far, she wouldn't let anything ruin this.
On Rins end, his thoughts were occupied by the wolf demon and everything that had happened and laid out in front of them. He was elated with what happened with a girl he was crushing on and embarrassed at the same time. All he could think about was wanting to make her happy and at that moment that meant food. But first he headed up stairs to his room to change into something more comfortable for home.
Quietly opening the door he snuck in and started rummaging through his drawers to find pants and a t-shirt when a light went on in the room.
He looked over in the direction of the light and Yukio was sitting up and rubbing sleep from his eyes.
"Hey sorry man. I was trying to be quiet." He apologized but was interrupted by his brother.
"What the hell did you do?" Yukio demanded. "You ran after Addison knowing what it could've been and skipped school!"
"Hey chill man. I was just trying to help her." Rin defended himself.
"There is only one way to help her and that's to sate her desires! Don't tell me you slept with her?" When he was met with silence, he became furious. "What were you thinking, Rin?! Do you realize what kind of position you just put yourselves in?"
"Uh, no?"
"You both are demons! YOU ARE THE SON OF SATAN! She is being watched by all the exorcist here! IF IT WERE TO GET OUT THAT YOU BOTH ARE HAVING SEX, AND SHE MIGHT GET PREGNANT. THEY MIGHT SEE IT AS AN ACT AGAINST US AND EXTERMINATE YOU BOTH!"
"Nothing like that is going to happen! Relax! We aren't trying to defy anyone. I was just trying to do what Dakotah would've done to help her and I ended up enjoying it along the way. We're both happy, can't we leave it at that?"
Yukio let out a breath of air giving up on making him see how bad it was, "You at least used protection, right?" Sheepish silence. "RIGHT?"
"Uh, no. It didn't come up. Everything was just moving too fast and when we woke up we were still kind of in that high so we did it again and-"
"You did it twice and DIDN"T USE PROTECTION!? What kind of idiot are you?"
"Heh. I'm sorry?" Rin apologized, "Look, it won't happen again. I'll be careful. IT might not even happen again. She could be regretting it right now….."
Silence filled the room before Yukio sighed, "I'm going back to bed." And turned out the light before laying back down.
With that, Rin got dressed and quickly went down to the kitchen to wipe up some food as fast as he could before bringing it to Addy's room.
He knocked on the door and waited in case she was asleep again because he didn't want to bother her, and he didn't have the same rights to just walk in like Dakotah has. Did he?
Shaking his head he watched as the door-knob slowly turned and the door opened to reveal Addison in a tank top and booty shorts. Rin blushed taking her in before stumbling inside and showing her everything he made for them.
It was a little awkward at first but when she would make the occasional comment about something she was watching on her tv, he would watch and make his own comments. Pretty soon things felt like they used to, and they would take while they ate until they're stomachs were full and plates were empty.
Things got awkward agin as they both sat there, not really meeting each other's eyes until Addison got up and got under the covers of her bed. Rin watched her in awed silence until she looked at him and patted the spot next to her in the bed while holding the covers open.
Rin shot up and went over quicker than he thought possible and smiled when it made her laugh.
The following days, Rin would wake up and text Yukio that he wasn't coming to school or cram school. Electing to stay with Addison the entire week. Yukio rolled his eyes each time he got those texts and would inform Mephisto that Rin was still sick with a cold each time.
On Wednesday when they woke up that morning, Addison sat down with Rin and apologized for everything that happened and said she understood if he didn't want to be near her any more. When he told her everything was fine and he didn't think any differently of her and that he still wanted to help whenever she needed it. And that lead to her apologizing profusely about practically jumping him and blowing off the condoms in her drawer those times. Rin kind of laughed it off and said they'd be careful from now on and he'd buy some of his own to keep in his room just in case.
That comment lead to them blushing while thinking of having sex with each other. Addison, thinking about all the things she'd like to do and Rin, imagining having Addison naked in his bed. One look at one another and they were on each other so fast, and that's basically how it was for them the whole week. Addison was so distracted she didn't even realize she was sated and felt no pain at all while Rin was enjoying every moment of being connected with someone he thought highly of.
Only time will tell what happens between them next.
