"Just tell me?" Karasu said, in the dim lit room.

"..."

"Really? The silent treatment?" Karasu said, exasperated. Standing up and once close enough immediately grabbed the guy's hair, using it to slam his forehead into the table, gripping his hair tight enough to hurt and forcing his head to remain on the table.

"This is a very simple request," Karasu said, tightening his hold on the guy's hair. "Just tell me where the rest of them are. Very simple, just a single location? Maybe some names?"

After a few moments of nothing but silence, Karasu sighs. "Whatever man, it's your funeral." he said, before exiting the room.

"Well that could have been better," Anko commented, signing some papers which were taken by a shinobi who quickly disappeared away.

"Any pointers then?" Karasu said sarcastically.

"Don't get sassy with me, and I'll actually give you some pointers. Don't hit their heads, it does not make them co-operate and may damage their memories." she said, leading him outside the T&I building.

"Speaking of memories, why don't we just get a Yamanaka to look into their heads?"

"Can't do that, don't forget that we also have civilians in our village." she said. "Would complicate our jobs if we had to use genjutsu on everyone that disobeyed us."

She paused for a moment before adding wryly, "Not to mention sullying our reputation."

"Hmmm," Karasu hummed, thoughtfully.

He continued thinking about her explanation before a sudden thought went through his head.

"This isn't the way to the Hokage tower." He commented, looking at his teacher.

"Only noticed that now?" Anko said, a smirk at her lips.

"Um… Don't we have to report to the Hokage?"

"Normally in most interrogation missions we generally just write progress reports until they crack and then we write the final report which gives their info." she explained, with Karasu nodding walking beside her.

"And we're going to a dango shop because?" Karasu said.

"Well," Anko said, smiling back. "Thought it would be nice to treat you to a nice meal. I mean, it was your first interrogation after all."

"Alright then," He said, sitting down to order some green tea dango whilst his teacher quickly ordered her own.

"When can we get another C-Rank?" he asked after a few moments.

"As much as I would like to go to another one, we have to complete this C-Rank first," she said before getting interrupted.

"This is a C-Rank mission?" Karasu asked incredulously.

"Yes," she said, gritting her teeth before flicking the dango stick to his forehead protector. "Don't interrupt me again. This is a C-Rank, more of a break than anything."

"So… it's time to just… chill?" Karasu asked, a bit lost.

"Well," she said, taking a pause to try to explain her next words. "Not just spend the free time relaxing, you could train, pick up some new skills and… I haven't taught you anything." she finished her sentence with a frown.

"Oh, I guess you haven't sensei." Karasu said, smirking at her.

'Well that isn't exactly the truth.' Karasu thought to himself.

'I've been improving more and more, the dungeon doesn't give out any worthwhile EXP, It's abysmal compared to even a D-Rank mission.'

"I got it!" Anko shouted, snapping Karasu out of his thoughts.

"Got what?" he asked, reaching for another dango stick.

Line Break –

His hand shot out to punch at the same time as Anko went for a jab. Karasu diverted his strike over her fist and dipped it in time to hit her in the wrist. Anko seeing this used her opportunity to move and jumped back, shaking her wrist out to get the feeling back into it.

Anko kept her focus solely on Karasu, before quickly rushing back in. Karasu quickly started forming seals and used substitution just in time for Anko to land a strike, destroying the piece of wood and allowing Karasu ample breathing room to back away.

Karasu quietly hid in the trees while letting out a breath, "This is what you meant?"

Karasu pulled the sword from his back, "A spar? I thought you already knew my capabilities." he said before launching towards Anko.

Anko, seeing him quickly approach, began ducking and dodging Karasu's slashes. Karasu sheathed his sword suddenly following one of his slashes and grabbed Karasu by his hair that was flailing about in the melee. With a good grip on his hair she jerked around and tossed Karasu over her shoulder, slamming him hard to the ground by his hair.

"A spar is good and all but you could always learn a bit more, like tying your hair?" she said grinning.

"Whatever." Karasu said scowling, grabbing his sword and sheathing it.

"Where do you think you're going?" she asked Karasu who was making his way out of the training grounds.

"My apartment?" he replied.

"No way! You're going to train with me and after this we'll be doing more D-Ranks, or else." she said, letting her threat hang in the air.

"Or else what?" he asked, a bit of venom in his tone.

"Or else, team 13 will be doing nothing but D-Ranks for a month." she said, her eyes begging for him to not listen.

"Let's just get this over with, and I thought we couldn't take another mission?"

"Oh we can, I just never told you." she said, smirking.

Karasu Uchiha–

After the disaster that was training, My team, mainly me, was put to do more D-Ranks.

The first one was an old man who wanted his fence painted. "I would ordinarily do it myself, but I have to leave Konoha tomorrow to meet my son in law in a nearby village." he apologised as he led them to his fence. "I have to make sure he's treating my princess right." With that, he left me to deal with the fence as my sensei was sleeping.

Letting out a sigh, I grabbed the brushes and started to work.

The next mission was dog walking and it was…significantly less monotonous, at least as far as I was concerned. While I was generally fit for shinobi life, I somewhat had the strength to keep the excited ninja dogs, who's physical capabilities were enhanced by chakra, from running around and dragging me along for the ride.

That had actually impressed Inuzuka Tsume, who'd slapped me on the back and told me that I should take the mission more often in the future.

Like hell I would, other than me running full speed and the dogs keeping up, making my pride at my DEX stat plummet.

After that everything just became a blur, go to the Hokage tower to report, get another D-Rank mission, leave the tower, come back with the report and rinse and repeat over and over again.

Level up!

Level – 33 [2,100/28,050]

Was the last thing I saw before collapsing on my bed.

End –

Author's Note: Yeah, an explanation on why Karasu doesn't use the ID as much. So yeah, this got beta'd really quick and I only had 4 hrs of sleep so… I hoped you enjoyed it?
