Chapter 6: Grand Ball of Fashion and Music Part 1
The night and the next day have come and gone, and very one is able to have a fun time in the castle. In the late afternoon, everyone excluding, Rarity, Adagio, Sun, and those who are going to be in the fashion show are getting ready for the ball tonight. Mágico and Sunset Shimmer aren't with them either.
"I can't wait. The ball is going to be fun," Pinkie says and puts on a balloon hair clip.
"Yeah. We're going to have a lot of fun here," Sonata says, brushing her hair.
Minami says, "Yes, but remember, we need to be careful. Mágico told us that Kumonosu is after our magic and has plans to use them for something."
"I do wish we know what he is up to. I'm worried about all this," Chiyu says.
"So am I," Pengitan says, concerned.
Nyatoran says, "I'm sure we'll stop whatever plan this creep spider boy is cooking up."
"Yeah," Hinata says.
Rabirin says, "But we still don't know why he wants our powers or what he plans to do with it."
"Then our only chance is to keep an eye out and watch our back. Kumonosu could be planning something," Aria says.
"Once we finish gettin dressed, we'll meet the guys in the ballroom and see if they can find anything or notice anything strange," Applejack says.
The girls nod their heads and continue to get ready.
Sometime later, after getting dressed, Twilight, and the others, including the boys, animals, and babies are now in the castle ballroom. Everyone is amazed to see a large chandelier above them, decorated with rainbow crystals. There are tables full of food, drinks, and other kinds of refreshments.
"Wow. This ballroom is beautiful," Falling Star says.
"I must say, the ballroom is very elegant," Minami says.
"I wonder where Sunset and Mágico are?" Falling Star wonders looking around.
"Sunset Shimmer and Mágico must have their own rooms here so they must be getting ready in a different room," Sombra says.
"Yeah. But I don't see Kumonosu either. I still have trouble about him being here, especially since we learned that he could have other objectives," Wire Wolf says.
"You're correct, Kumonosu must be up to something if he had us all gather. Aroma says.
Pafu worriedly says, "It will be a disaster if he manages to take our magical abilities. The girl might not transform."
"We won't let that creep do anything to us. Until then, let's go have some fun," Rainbow says.
"It will be best to act like everything is normal and we must be careful to not let our guard down," Twilight says.
Everyone agrees to the idea and walks towards the ballroom. Just then, the lights turn off and the lights turn on at the balcony. On the balcony is Kumonosu who is dressed in a dark purple suit with a white button up shirt, and a black tie.
Kumonosu says, "Good evening everyone, and welcome tonight's ball of the Castle of the Sun. Tonight, there will be excitement, music, dancing and so much that all of you have put together."
Everyone simply claps their hands to hear Kumonosu's speech.
He then says, "We will first start the festivities with the Fashion Show Rarity so kindly put on for our ball."
Kumonosu uses his webs to create a runway and the group device themselves in the different sides of the stage. The runaway leads to the wall that has curtains and an entryway on the wall. The first one to come out is Rarity wearing her purple ball gown that is decorated with blue and white color diamonds and wears a tiara on her head. She is also holding a microphone in her hand.
"Hello everyone, welcome to the Castle of the Sun Fashion Show. I hope you all will enjoy the show," Rarity says.
Rarity then walks off the stage and then the music turns on with the lights turns on, and shine on the runway. The first person to walk on the runway is Kirara. She is wearing a yellow and purple color dress and hers is decorated with stars. Her hair has low twin tails and a star hair clip. She walks on the stage and poses a few as she walks on the stage.
The second person to come out is Yuni. She is wearing a light blue color dress and has a rainbow like sash around her waist. She is also wearing a small blue top hat with a rainbow color star on it. She walks on the stage as Kirara is in the opposite direction.
The fashion show continues. Fluttershy enters the stage and her dress is a bright green and light yellow with butterfly wings. Sun's is wearing a fiery dress and has a gold tiara declared with magenta color gems. Towa also walks on the stage wearing a red dress and wears a silver tiara.
The girls continue to walk on the stage and walk back to the back room. Everyone claps and cheers with excitement.
Hikaru whispers to Twilight and the others, "Rarity's dresses are very beautiful."
Twilight happily nods her head.
Just then, the last model to walk out is Sunset Shimmer who is wearing a magenta color gown decorated with red gemstones. Her hair has a few curls as she is wearing a sun hair clip on the left side of her hair. Mágico is dressed in a light teal outfit with white decorated. He is also wearing a gold crown as he walks beside Sunset. They both look like a royal couple.
Everyone claps and cheers with excitement to see the show and how much success it is. Kumonosu is impressed as he watches the show. Of course, he knows that he has his own agenda to take care of.
Later on after the fashion show, and the group have some refreshments, it is time for the concert part of the ball.
"I'm actually excited, I have never seen a concert before," Sunset says.
"I'm sure you'll love it, Sunset. The first one to perform are Emiru and Ruru. You're going to love their song," Hana says.
"It looks like the show is starting," Hinata says.
The curtains open to reveal Emiru, and Ruru. However, they are dressed differently, and their appearance is different too.
Emiru is a little taller and her eyes are brighter with curled lashes. Her hair turns platinum blonde and grows to her thighs, worn in curled twin-tails. She wears lipstick. Her hair piece consists of a big red ribbon with pale pink ruffles, a gold diamond at the middle of pale blue frills, and a matching piece behind the ribbon. Her dress has puffy sleeves and a pink and purple top that is lighter on top accented with a red ribbon. Her sash is red with a purple bow on the right with her PreHeart. Her skirt has four layers that alternate between magenta and pale pink frills. The last layer is longer in the back. On the back are magenta and hot pink layers. Her boots are light red with a red ribbon wrapped around them along with white stockings with red lining. Her accessories include pale pink gloves with red bows and white fluffy earrings.
Ruru's hair turns pale lavender and is worn loose with multiple curls on each side of her head beneath two bow-shaped buns. On the left side of her head is a purple bow with white ruffles at the bottom adorned by a gold diamond and light blue ruffles. Her eyes turn light purple and her eyelashes are curled, and she wears pink lipstick. She wears a light purple dress with white elbow-length sleeves with holes in the shoulders. In the front is a hot pink ribbon. She wears a dark purple sash with a magenta bow on the left with her PreHeart attached. In the back are purple, magenta, and pink ruffles. Her skirt has two purple layers with split sections and two white layers, with the second one slightly longer in the back. Her boots are purple with darker purple ribbons around them and reach over her knees with black and purple stockings underneath. Her accessories include white wrist-length gloves with bows on them and large white pom-pom earrings.
"That's Emiru and Ruru?" Applejack asks, shocked.
"They look so different," Sonata says, surprised.
Saaya answers, "Yes. This is what they look like in their Precure forms. Emiru is Cure Macherie and Ruru is Cure Amour."
"They look so beautiful. So much inspiration," Rarity says, astonished.
Then look around, "Where is my sketch book when I need it."
Cure Macherie says, "Hello everyone, Cure Amour and I will be performing for you. Hope you're ready to hear some music."
Everyone cheers with excitement. With that, Cure Macherie and Cure Amour make the guitar appear. Then they begin to play with their guitars. Soon, the girls begin to sing.

Soon, the two cures begin to strum their guitars and play the music from them.

Soon, multiple color lights turn on and move around the stage.

The concert going well, the two cures continue to play their guitars as everyone else cheers with excitement. Unknown to everyone, strange color auras begin to surround them as they are having a great time.

As the concert goes on, Kumonosu watches the concert from a distance and an evil smirk to see his plan is working and the magic is being siphoned from right under them.

Soon Cure Macherie begins to perform a guitar solo along with Cure Amour from close by. However, unknown to them, the magical essence from everyone is being pulled from under them. In the mysterious room, the magical essence from the groups are being sucked into the five bottles.

Cure Macherie and Cure Amour finish their song and finish strumming their guitars. Everyone claps and cheers with excitement.
In the mysterious room, the five bottles glow as the magical essence from the five groups are being put in separate bottles. The bottles show that they are all already around a quarter full.
Back in the ballroom, everyone was waiting for the next performance, and practically talking to Emiru and Ruru about their performance.
"You both were so awesome!" Rainbow says.
"I must admit, it was a very unique performance, especially your outfits. They are fabulous and cute," Rarity says.
"Thank you," Emiru happily says.
"We appreciate it," Ruru replies.
"So who's next to show us an awesome show?!" Pinkie asks, excited.
"It's Yuni's turn," Hkaru says.
Elena says, "And she told us she is going to be in her Mao Persona for the show."
"Who's Mao, exactly?" Fluttershy asks.
"Mao was a renowned space idol star in the world we're from," Prunce says.
Then Lala says, "Of course, she was also the Blue cat which was the Phantom Thief, and she disguised as Bakenyan who worked for the Natraiders, but was undercover."
"So she's an Idol, a thief, and an undercover agent. And she's a Precure," Falling Star replies.
"Talk about a Jack of different trades," Twilight says.
"And you'll see how good she sings cause, she's on the stage now," Madoka says, looking at the stage.
Walking on the stage is Yuni. Just then, Yuni then uses a special perfume bottle to spray herself and changes form.
Now Yuni is Mao. A girl that has thick purple hair and lime green eyes. She wears a pair of pearl bun caps on her head lined in gold pearls to hide her cat ears. Her dress is pink on top with two gold buttons and a sky blue sash. On top of her chest is a hot pink bow with a bell in the middle. Another hot pink ribbon is tied to her tail. The skirt has alternating pink and pale blue pleats with a cream-colored layer under it. Her gloves are white with a flaring cuff and her shoes are blue and white, resembling paws. Around her upper arms and ankles are gold pearl bands.
Yuni giggles and happily says, "Hello everyone, Mao is here."
Everyone claps and cheers with excitement. Just then, music begins to be played. Hugtan and Regana giggle as they clap with excitement. Yuni, as Mao makes the microphone appear in her hand and begins to sing her song.

Unknown to everyone, the magical essence continues to be syphoned from their knowledge and continues to be traveled to the bottles.

After Yuni as Mao finishes her performance, everyone cheers in excitement, especially Hikaru and the others. Fuwa flies over to Mao as she changes back to Yuni's form. Then Fuwa hugs Yuni and the cat girl pets Fuwa on the head.
In the secret room, the magic continues to be sucked from the ballroom and into the room more, and the bottles end up filled half away. Kumonosu who is still in the ballroom, uses his webs he has created with his hands to create a small portal to see the bottles are starting to get full of magic.
"Just another half way more and I'll have the magic I need. Those guys were too busy having fun that they have no idea their magic is being stolen the moment they step into the ballroom. And then, I'll be able to reclaim what was sealed from me and have my revenge," Kumonosu says with an evil grin.
