Story Start!

"Sitting down, no way, it would be way too noticable that way. I've got to go with the up-and-tuck for sure."

"Is this really an appropriate conversation to have right now?" Takashi asked as he looked between Naruto and Kohta as they filled up tanks full of gas from cars that were left in driveways. Kohta was on look out for any zombies, while Naruto loaded each new gallon of stolen gas into a wagon that was being used to carry all of it.

He was pulling a wagon loaded with blankets, bottle of water, non-perishable food, and quite a few feminine products for the girls.

"Dude, it's strategy." Naruto sent Takashi a thumbs up. "... Those girls are super babes, so we need to discuss strategy for how to NOT let boners be seen around them." Naruto was way more laid back in the company of just men.

Takashi scratched his cheek.

"... I think Naked Grandma thoughts."

"Yeah, that works, but then you have to think about your granny naked. It's a shame none of these 3 houses had any guns." Kohta complained as he looked at his stolen haul. It was just tools, tools that were battery powered, hammers, nails as well, screws. It was an interesting assortment of things that Naruto was making him pull around. "So, what do we need these tools for? Only a few of them would make good weapons." Kohta asked as he looked at the oldest man in the area.

From boners to tools.

"They aren't for weapons, they are for making stuff. If we want to secure any area, we're going to need those tools to do it... Zombies on our 3." Naruto gestured a good distance away from them. Kohta trained his gun on them, and Naruto shook his head. "Not close enough to hear us yet, and that gun will draw them like wildfire. You two start taking this stuff back to the house, and then come back silently. I'm going to keep taking gas." Naruto had his own mission that he was going to make use of.

None of these cars needed gas anymore, so might as well put it to better use. Naruto started to pour some of the gas into a glass bottle.

"... You're... making molotov cocktails?" Kohta whispered as he stopped walking away.

Naruto sent him a thumbs up.

"I've got enough glass bottles for about 16 of them, and more than enough gas. Get going you two... I've got some plans." Naruto stated as he urged them to leave. Naruto lit a match and got his throwing arm ready. He looked towards the house furthest away from them, the one that they had already looted clean.

Naruto threw it.

-At Base House-

"... He just set a house on fire..." Saeko watched Naruto from the balcony. She was only wearing black string panties and a white apron after her bath, and nothing else since all of the clothes weren't in her size other than her own. "I'll ask him about that later... seems the bridge over there is attracting a lot of attention still." She continued her train of thought.

She saw Takashi and Kohta were approaching base.

"Already over 20,000,000 in Japan infected... with an estimate of 100,000,000 in a matter of days. That is most of the nation." Saeko had heard that from the TV, even when she had been taking her bath the TV in the living room had informed her of that news when she listened for it.

She heard the door unlock.

She better continue to make dinner, she was sure the boys were going to be starving after their how hard they were working to gather supplies. With how sneaky they needed to be to avoid the dead and the living.

"Hey Busjima-SENPAI!?"

"WOAH!?"

"Oh, please don't mind my attire, this was all that she had I could wear. Is Senpai going to be back with us soon?" Saeko asked with her cheeks slightly pink. "It's inappropriate. Are you going to go back outside?" Saeko asked as they averted their gazes from her. She saw the supplies that they had gathered.

Food, water, tools, clothing, blankets, all great things to gather from what she could see from simply a passing glance.

"Where are the others?"

"Passed out in Saya's case, they found alchohol and decided to partake of it. Shizuka-sensei is wondering around here somewhere... and it seems Rei is looking for you Takashi." Saeko stated with a smile on her face.

He scratched his cheek.

"I'm going to take up a look out point for a little bit before heading back out. I've got to scout the area, Senpai is counting on my eyes." Kohta stated as he rushed to the balcony.

Takashi watched him with a raised eyebrow.

"... That Uzumaki-san... it seems Kohta has a lot of respect for him."

"Yes, I can understand why-" Saeko stopped when she heard the sounds of a dog barking and gunshots.

-With Naruto-

"Fuck... DUMBASSES! FAGGOTS! LOSERS! RETARDS!" Naruto jumped on top of a car and started to scream whatever it took to get all of the zombies and survivor's attention. He didn't care how offensive he was being, he just shouted whatever words came to his mind. "Stop shooting your gun, they are attracted to sound! Move silently, move quickly, and don't pani-"

*BOOM*

"SON OF A BITCH!" Naruto shouted when he got shot in the arm by a stray shot. Naruto kept his mouth shut and moved out of the way of grabbing zombie hands. The zombies had followed the sounds of a dog barking, and now the zombies were chasing survivors all around the street who had tried to escape from them.

Naruto ran towards the guy who shot him, by accident he better hope, and grabbed his face before he slammed him into a concrete fence. The man was knocked out cold instantly, and Naruto tossed him into a bush where he would be safe for the moment.

A dog was barking at Naruto's ankle.

Attracting zombies.

"You're a troublemaker... keep quiet." Naruto grabbed the small white dog and picked him up with one injured arm. The dog stopped barking at Naruto, so Naruto kept moving away from zombies that followed him. "Hey... stop screaming... stop screaming, it will just attract more of them." Naruto stated as he tried to get the attention of-

She got bitten and was swarmed by zombies.

'Fucking great...' Naruto looked towards his base and saw Kohta, Takashi, and Saeko were all standing on the balcony. They turned the lights of the house off. '... More than likely to stop people from coming towards the house. There are other houses with the lights on, but I didn't know if they were on because people were there, or they were left on.' Naruto saw people were running away from zombies and towards those very same houses.

He signalled for Kohta, and held his arms up in a "X form" to show him not to shoot his gun and attract anymore attention than had already been attracted.

"I'm begging you! I don't care about myself! Just take my girl!"

Naruto saw a somewhat familiar man to him, he was a reporter for a newspaper or something, who had a small girl holding onto him. He was banging loudly on the door, and causing more of the undead to come calling towards their location.

Naruto ran towards them.

When the door opened, Naruto saw a knife come out and stab the father right in the abdomen. Naruto's eyes lit up in fury when he saw this. He rushed into the yard of the house, and he closed the gate behind him.

"Fuckers! Cowards! You open this door BACK UP!" Naruto passed the dying man and his daughter.

"DADDY!"

Naruto spat on the door in a rage as he stormed across the front yard, and he saw the dying man had brushed against the gate and opened it again. Naruto closed the gate more firmly this time as he stared in the face of a zombie.

"Daddy's going to be okay-"

"You're Dad's going to be just fine kid... move aside for a moment. I'm going to do the best I can to save him." Naruto stopped the father from lying to his daughter. He knelt down by the man's side and ripped open his white shirt, revealing his stab wound.

It was deep.

The girl grabbed onto him.

"Please save my Daddy... please save him!"

"I'm going to save him." Naruto assured her as he pushed her off of him. "I'm not a med student... damnit... what did those med nerds do..." Naruto whispered to himself as he thought about what he could do in this situation. Naruto raised his fist up into the air and warned Kohta to not take any shots, and for him to keep everyone where they were.

"Please... Naruto?... Heh... I remember writing about you... if it's you, my daughter will be safe... Please take her."

"Deep wound... I'm going to try and stop the bleeding. Girl, grab that bottle of clear stuff and hand it to me." Naruto ordered the girl. She was in a stunned silence as tears bled from her eyes. Naruto frowned when she didn't do what he asked. He sighed and put pressure on the wound. "... Please be strong and help me save your Daddy, I need you to be a strong girl." Naruto pleaded with her instead of ordering her.

She responded and gave him the alchohol.

"Please save my Daddy!"

"I'm going to save him." Naruto assured her.

"Please... save my girl."

"I'm going to save you both!" Naruto heard the chaos going on as more people were attacked and devoured by zombies, and as more zombies started to come calling to the earlier gunshots. Naruto scratched his head in frustration as he looked at the girl crying, and the father pleading to him to take care of her. Naruto was slowing the bleeding the best that he could, but he didn't know how to seal the wound. 'Is this alchohol going to burn the wound closed... but he's bleeding from the mouth too... are there internal wounds.' Naruto didn't know if what he was going to do would even work at all.

-With the Others-

"What's going on... why aren't we helping him!?" Rei shouted as she saw what was happening, joining the others.

She could see the chaos outside.

"Naruto told me to stand down, he sent me a signal. He doesn't want us to attract more attention. He's trying to save a little girl and her father." Kohta explained as he watched what was happening through the scope of his gun. He had his teeth grit, his eyes enraged at what he had witnessed.

"I'm going."

"No you're not, Senpai said to stand down." Saeko told Takashi with a firm stance. "You'll just get killed, there are too many of them out there now. Like Kohta said, Naruto is trying to save the girl and her father. He can't do that if we add to the chaos he is dealing with." Saeko frowned as she spoke.

She wished Naruto would just save himself, and the girl since the father was already mortally wounded.

-With Naruto-

"Damnit... damnit..."

"... Protect her... pr..."

"Damnit!" Naruto shouted when he failed. His hands were covered in blood as he had tried to stop the bleeding. "I'll protect her with my life, you're daughter is going to grow up to be a beautiful woman, strong, and just as brave as you are!" Naruto didn't care how much noise he was making.

The man needed to hear this as he faded away, his life passing.

The father could only offer Naruto a smile.

"Daddy?"

"... I'm sorry... I tried my best... I really tried to save him... your Daddy is dead." Naruto told the girl the news. His eyes were stinging with rage filled tears. He wrapped both of his arms around the girl and brought her to his chest so that she could cry as much as she wanted to. "I'm so sorry, he was a brave man, and I'm promise you that I will protect you in his stead. What's your name?" Naruto asked the girl.

It was 15 minutes before she answered.

"... Alice..."

"Alice, stay with your Daddy for a little bit and say goodbye. I've got some business to take care of really quick." Naruto stated as he stood up. He took the silent dog out of his jacket and handed it over to the girl. "He will keep you company." Naruto saw the dog instantly take a liking to the girl, and begin to lick her face.

Naruto punched the door.

His fist sank right through it as he shattered the wound. He unlocked the door and opened it up, with the people dwelling inside of the house rushing to the hallway to greet him with scared looks. They were armed.

"Stay away!"

Naruto ripped the doorknob off of the door, wooden chunks of the door embedded into his arm. His face was filled with rage and sorrow. He turned away from them and walked to the front gates. He looked at Alice, and she made eye contact with him.

His eyes turned soft as he put a finger to his lips.

Naruto opened the gate wide open, and zombies started to flood into the yard. The people inside the house started to scream and run deeper into the house, with the horde of zombies following after them. Naruto looked to Alice, and he kept his finger in front of his mouth as the zombies completely ignored the two of them in favor of going towards the people making a ton of noise.

"PLEASE HELP! SA-"

Naruto walked to Alice and he wrapped her in his arms.

"... I couldn't protect him... but now the bad people who killed him are being punished. I'm sorry Alice, this is all I can do for him now." Naruto lifted her up, and she wrapped her arms around him. He carried her outside of the yard. Naruto grabbed her father, and he lifted him up with his injured arm and carried him over his shoulder.

"Mister, you're hurt..."

"I'm fine, lets get you to a safe place now." Naruto told the girl in little more than a whisper. Unable to fight while holding her, he walked very slowly and very carefully so that not a single zombie would notice him. They were in a frenzy, attacking all of the people who had ignored Naruto earlier.

-With the Others-

"... He's terrifying when he's mad."

"Yeah." Takashi and Kohta agreed with that statement instantly when Rei made it. Saya was now awake and watching what was happening.

"Things went from 0 to 100 really fast."

"Why is be bringing the corpse?" Saya asked with her arms crossed. They could all see that Naruto was carrying the corpse on his shoulder.

"To offer a brave man a proper burial. Naruto brought the man's killers to justice, but bravery deserves to be rewarded." Saeko understood what Naruto was doing. He was going to make sure that the girl could say a proper goodbye to her father. So that she could quickly move on, and he could better protect her.

"He's injured, and it doesn't seem like he's healing like with zombie bites." Kohta looked at Naruto's shot and stabbed arm. "Seems that weird healing only applies to wounds he gets from them, or at least he only heals after he gets bitten." Kohta would wake up Shizuka, but sadly that would mean leaving his post.

He had his orders to follow.

His commanding officer ordered him to stay put!
