Chapter 6
The next couple of days went about the same manner. Sesshomaru took Mikazuki with him and he was with Kagome in the evening. He even took him hunting when it was time to eat. The pup started getting accustomed to Ah-Un and was able to ride on top with Rin. They looked like the perfect family casually traveling through the western lands.
They were about a day away when Sesshomaru decided he wanted to fly to get back sooner. He took Zuki with him on his shoulder and the females were on the two headed dragon. The pup was amused and happy. Kagome's heart warmed at the sight of the demon lord and her son.
When they finally arrived at the palace, the lord handed the pup to Kagome and entered the grounds. All eyes were on Kagome and Mikazuki. The frightened pup buried his face into his mama chest. Feeling the uneasiness, Sesshomaru let out a growl and the stares stopped.
"Welcome back mi lord" as the screeching green Imp came running out. Stopping in his tracks. "What is that thing!" pointing at Mikazuki.
"Jaken. Do you dare insult the miko's son?"
"The miko son! N-n-nooo mi lord."
"Apologize now."
"Yessss mi lord." Bowing down "my apologies miko...and son. Forgive my rude comments."
Just then Sesshomaru walked over and kicked the Imp over the castle wall.
Zuki and Rin laughed in delight.
"Jaken is still rude as ever." Kagome follows behind the demon lord into the palace.
