Dboy11000: Welcome back people who have waited so long. I have put this off for soooo long due to laziness and procrastination, but after a while and boy do I mean a while, Chapter 5 is complete, with the help of my new co-writer for the Rise Of Brolinc, Unity123!
Unity123: Gathered friends, I personally wish to thank my new partner in welcoming me into this Alternate Universe. To think that this all started back on October 3rd two years ago. To those of you who are waiting and reading my other stories, I assure you that they are still in the works and not stuck in hiatus. I can't personally say when the newest chapters will come. Anyway, I hope to do my very best in this story. Until, then recover the past, shape the present, change the future.
Dboy11000: With those kind words, let the story continue!
Woods Elementary School, Royal Woods, Michigan, USA, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way, Local Group, Virgo Supercluster, Universe L
Lynn's bloodied hair has been shaped to have three bangs hanging to the right of her forehead and two bangs hanging to the left. Lynn's hair also stands up in the front with five spikes and four bangs in the back.
Something about Lynn's appearance triggers a vision. He sees a grown man above the age of 25, a similar black hairstyle as Lynn has now. He is wearing a blank orange Gi with a blue sash-style obi over his waist, as well as a dark blue undershirt, dark-blue wristbands and boots with a red border and yellow/tan laces.
A light-skinned man with dark eyes and black spiky hair reaching his mid-back with short bangs framing his forehead. He is a towering man with a lean but well-built frame. His facial expression, even before wearing the crown, had a melancholic demeanor to it. He is shirtless while wearing white pants with a red sash draped around his waist and secured by a yellow belt with a blue gem-center. He also wears similar yellow boots with a blue gem at the top the front. It is implied that the outfit was made of a similar material to the Battle Armor, regardless of what size-increasing transformation he used, his clothing always remained intact and grew in size with him. There are scorch marks across his chest, something he gained from a battle presumably?
He then sees two other figures, a man and a woman. She appears to be a beautiful woman of curvaceous and slender frame with long white hair, light blue skin, and purple eyes. The right side of her hair is longer than the other and hangs in front of her chest. She has a golden infinity sign shaped hair accessory that covers the back and both sides of her head. She wears gold earrings and wears a red and black skin tight body suit that has a v shaped hole around her stomach, and has slits on the bottom half, exposing the bottom of her chest. She wears a white open leg cape that is jagged at the bottom, and red and black high heels. She also seems to be carrying a brown staff or spear which has two sharp golden points on each end.
The one next to her is a pale man with a darker shade of blue skin and white hair, having a line on both cheeks that goes from the eyes until his jaw. He wears red clothing that covers all his body. Above it, he wears white armor with the symbol of an infinity-like icon at the center of it and a brown strap around his neck. He also wears cape-like pants covering his legs, leaving only a red pair of shoes to be visible. He also wears grey wristbands. Lincoln then snaps out of his trance, perplexed about who those people were, but quickly focusing back on the fight at hand.
"HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!" Lori screams out, her eyes like her other elder sisters as wide as dinner plates. A cafeteria destroyed, friends and foe alike slammed into the wall, discarded like broken toys that no longer served amusement. The younger sister and the other students huddled in groups behind the overturned tables, traumatized by fear. "何 / NANI / WHAT?!" Luan shouts, then giggles for a moment before getting back to the moment. "But seriously, what the heck?" "Wincoln mad." Lily said, putting her hands on her cheeks.
Lincoln gives a glance over to the others, "Aw, good the gang's all here. Shame Mommy and Daddy Dearest aren't here, but I suppose you have to take what you can get." He says, his tone far more subtle in its hostility than it was before. His vocabulary has also improved from the primal urges he exhibited back home. "You can have this pathetic waste of human flesh back." The sphere he made dissipates as he tosses Lynn at them like a soggy ragdoll. With instincts kicking in, the arriving siblings group up together and manage to catch, the force of the impact pushing them all the way to the door.
The younger siblings then take the time to come around to the others, viewing their injured sister. The damage is quite extensive. There is a scorch marking on her chest from the orb of energy that he just created. There is a dark patch around her stomach from the walloping her kidneys endured. Her clothes are stained in blood from all the pain she took, her hairband is gone, the blood managing to coat her hair into a red mess.
"Lincoln, what do you think you are doing to your sister?! You better get yourself back under control before I turn you into a human pretzel!" Lori says, quite angry with the methods he used against her. He cranes his head sideways. "What sister? I don't have anyone else that shares my own flesh and blood." He says, not even acknowledging that he is related to his surviving victim. "But as you can see and hear, I am very much in control. In fact, I've never been in more control of life since yesterday." He gestures to himself. Discarding the green aura and the blank eyes, there are more physical changes than the first time he entered this state of mind. His body is slightly larger than normal, his frame becoming more well-built. The hair is also longer, flowing in multiple places like tails.
"You destroyed a cafeteria, knocked your friends unconscious, brought down a bully who clearly got more than what he deserved for messing with you and Lisa, and you still think you're in control, twerp?! Don't make me come over there-" Lori retorts, clearly not caring about his new appearance. "You know, I'm getting really tired of your mundane and repetitive threats to me. If I had a dollar for every time you used that pretzel threat on me, I would have enough to buy a new video game." Lincoln interrupts her, not amused. "How does it feel to be in control over your family and your so called friends and loved one? To rule over your own family as acting matriarch. It feels good, doesn't it?" She stops abruptly and begins to ponder his statement. The conclusion she comes surprises her, it did feel good to ascend above others. But she's the eldest and must be treated as such, right?"
He gets an idea. "How would your (finger quoting) Bobby Boo-Boo Bear feel if he saw you for who you truly are." Lincoln says in a taunting manner. "A tyrant, undeserving of the love she was given. If I had those feelings for someone, I wouldn't even bother try wrapping that imbecile around my pinky finger, dragging him along like a toy just so you can achieve the future you want. Not what he wants." "Don't you dare drag Bobby into all this!" She growls. "Dude, you just proved his point." Lori realizing this, falls on the floor just because.
Leni looks at Lincoln a little closer, specifically what he is wearing. The shoes have torn revealing his bare feet and the shirt and jeans are stretched and torn in some places, either from the bulking up or the volatile nature of the energy enveloping. "Linky, I like, totes like what you did with yourself despite the bad choices you made." Leni says, surprising most of the people in the room, even making Lincoln raises an eyebrow. "Maybe we can head back home and I can work on something more fitting for your new body."
Lincoln chuckles in amusement. "Leni, Leni, Leni. Sweet, innocent, naive, idiotic, Leni. I do appreciate that you at least support my change of face and the need for something more comfortable. But I'm afraid that not even your heart of gold and your clouded perception will not save you from me." He gives her a menacing grin, "Perhaps I should rip said heart and brain from your corpse to see what the problem is." Jokingly, Lincoln sniffs his nose. "Brain tumor? Huh, now that I think about, it makes perfect sense now." This instantly extinguishes her demeanor, as takes a step back or two in fear, the words her brother chose pulling hard on her heartstrings. "Okay, bro. That was totally uncalled for!" Luna shouts at him.
"Dude, please calm down. This isn't you. The Lincoln I know would never act like this." His grin turns to a frown, as he looks toward Luna in an annoyed manner. "Luna, I thought you of all people would understand. But she had to learn the truth at some point, and you know what they say, the truth hurts." Lincoln's mood sours further. "As if you and the sisterhood would know what that means, considering you and the others always get away with whatever you want while I have to suffer in your stead!" He starts laughing, the way a psychotic maniac would. "And if that's not funny to some of you, I don't even want to know what humor even is."
"Well you don't have to be crazy about it, Linc." Luan jokes, and despite the current situation, everyone still conscious in the room to groan. "But really, that's not really funny. Can you knock this off, you're starting to scare everyone." "Good...at least I've found something I'm good at, like your annual festivities on April Fool's Day." Lincoln rebuffs, stopping Luan cold. "You've all always taunted me with your trophies, accolades, and talents your callings have wrought. That I will be left behind in your wake, with nothing to show my worth." The Louds sister see as people start to glare at them, despite their dread. "But now I've found what I'm good at...and your going to take that away from like everything else. I have to thank you for all the cuts and bruises, the broken bones, the indignities and humiliation that you inflicted, what doesn't kill me just makes me stronger. I mean it would kill any lesser man or woman. Is none of what I'm saying ringing any bells to you? To all of you?" Lucy tries to retort, only resulting in Lincoln quickly cutting her off.
"And before you answer, Lucy. Of course this is all familiar to you, it is one of the cornerstones in your pathetic little lives, you must do must to survive in this harsh world." Lucy then silences, realizing that nearly everything he says is true. The energy around Lincoln begins to build, causing the air around him to spin up into winds, slightly showing Lucy's eyes. "But I must do what needs to be done. I mean, what should you expect...from a true freak?" Lincoln continues to laugh again, his laugh becoming more and more unstable. As Lucy sees this, she remembers something from a spellbook she read. According the book, power like this not only affects the body, but the mind and soul as well. Meaning if Lincoln's ferocity persists, he could lose his sanity, permanently.
The twins have been trembling in each other's arms since this started. Lana had already untied Lola and removed the rope gag from her mouth. "L-lincoln." Lola manages to utter his name despite the fear holding her paralyzed. "Why did you do this? How could you do this?" Lincoln chuckles, turning to look to Lola with a sense of disgust. "The why is oh so obvious, you little brat." Lincoln spits out. "I thought you took the hint after all the blackmailing and abuse on both the home and the pageant stage. You hated me for as long as I lived, for as long as you lived... Yet you didn't want to admit it. You couldn't admit it. Not out loud anyway. I'm just sharing the same kind of hatred that I've had pent up for over a decade." It takes a moment for the sisters to process this statement, as Lana is the first to realize what he means. "You mean...all this time... we hated you."
The tomboy shakes her head, trying to deny his bold accusations. "No, no no no no. That's not true. We love you, Linc. We have always loved you. He chuckles. "Funny, then if what you did to me all this is same the kind of love you showed your dear parents, then I will gladly die alone, a demon, a monster." His gaze fixes on her. "Did you really believe that I wanted to be used as a mannequin, a joke, a punching bag, a slave, a lab rat, do I have to list more? I could have died from at least three of the occupations that I mentioned." He tries to continue, but he flinches from a sort of stabbing pain for a bit before his tone gets angrier again. "Get off me, Lisa. You already got one of my kidneys, what more must you take from before you're satisfied." He turns around to spot that Lisa has hopped on his back when no one was looking, syringe in hand. Normally one would try to reach with ones arms to get rid of a bad itch. But the energy around just spikes, electrifying her and knocking her away like a bug zapper as she slides towards her sisters.
"Lisa!" Leni manages to help her up. The prodigy looks to the item in her hand. A syringe filled with Lincoln's blood. "Male sibling, you need to calm down and bring yourself back to normal." Lisa tries to persuade, "I'm not sure how long your body can sustain this power with all those chemicals in your system, you might even explode from all this pent up energy. Remember earlier today, you stood up to that bully. You acted to save me from further injury. "Lincoln gives her statement a moment of the thought. "You're right, I did stand up to that sewer rat. I've had just enough of his high and mighty attitude." He gives a glance to Chandler's unconscious body. The aura grows weaker and his feet lowers closer to the ground. The sisterhood smiles in relief. Once he's calmed down and reverted back to his nice and lovable self, Lisa can identify what kind of chemical is in his system and remove it.
They spoke too soon. The aura only grows to normal, sparks being created from all that power. "But I only did that because if anyone is going to make you and this entire planet pay for what you have done, for what you refused to do. It's going to be me. Thank you Lisa, for all of your contributions to the scientific community. I'll make sure that your story ends with a not a whimper, but an explosion!" His extends his hand out at them, another sphere of green energy manifesting ready to fire upon command. The rest of them huddle together, fearing the end. With death impending the sisters, Lily begins to cry.
Lincoln's composure breaks from that sound. His aim misaligns as the sphere flies at them, passing inches above their heads. An explosion is heard when the ball hits its new mark. They do hear someone scream, albeit for a different reason. "My car! I just paid of the loan for that!" The instability done to the school causes the main entrance to crumble behind the Louds as his hand clamp to his face, seemingly wrestling with something in his head. The energy grows even stronger, becoming even more erratic than before. He also starts screaming out in pain. "Lisa, can you please tell me what is going on with Lincoln?!" Lori shouts to her. "I don't know elder sibling unit. It seems as if Lily's crying is triggering something in his psyche that wasn't there before!"
As for Lincoln, his mind's eye shifts to a dark room, the only sound that he could hear is the sound of baby crying. He hears a voice, "Did you hear? Paragus's son was born with a power level of 10,000. 10,000! And only an infant!" There's another voice. "Makes Bardock's son look a joke. What is he, a 2?" The first voice chuckles, "Yeah, I think so. But he's a feisty one, alright. Listen to him wail! That's the spirit!" "Look, he's making Paragus's son cry." The second voice speaks again, laughing at his... my misfortune. "Hahahahaha, you don't see that everyday."
It wouldn't stop, this sonic pain causes him to whimper quietly too, before he feels himself being lifted below the waist and a sharp piercing his chest. The scene changes to a ruined world, with a bright light inching closer and closer. Something snaps as he cries out, a dormant power awakening inside him. A sphere of green energy appears around himself and and a man wearing a some form of armor. The scene changes again. Such destruction, such carnage. Such...good times? The man from before was there two, twice, trying to calm him down. He never understood the power that he wield, even in that state.
Of course there were times where mighty warriors like himself need to sleep and regain their strength. He is awoken by a noise and sees the man again, a scar over his left eye carrying a golden crown with a sapphire jewel. He manages to place the crown and despite the pain he dealt, he felt chains on his mind become placed on his mind. Lincoln's perception shifts back to the present. This crying, it's driving him mad, just like what he did before all those years ago. It has to do away. It has to die. "Sister...rot." Lincoln spouts out despite his the noise and mental backlash. He points directly at Lily a small ball of energy appearing at its tip. Lynn comes to and sees what is happening, already calculating the trajectory of the finger's direction. Through sheer willpower, she manages to stand her own two feet. "No way, Stinkoln." She manages to spout. "I will not let you harm my family!"
"You scum, still got some fight left in you?" Lincoln asks his sister, cracking his knuckles. "I'll make sure not to-" He stops abruptly after seeing her hairdo. She has three bangs hanging to the right of her forehead and two bangs hanging to the left. Lynn's hair is also standing up in the front with five spikes and four bangs in the back. The look creates another sensation in his mind. He misses again, hitting above the frame as a rock lands on Leni's head. "Guh...kuh!" She utters as she loses consciousness. The name makes it stronger as the memories return again, even more forceful than before. The growing power is even causing the ground below him to tear itself apart as he rises higher in elevation. Lincoln then sees a grown man above the age of 25, a similar black hairstyle as Lynn has now. He is wearing a blank orange Gi with a blue sash-style obi over his waist, as well as a dark blue undershirt, dark-blue wristbands and boots with a red border and yellow/tan laces.
He remembers fighting this man with the intent to kill, but again the man stops him. But on that day, he finally broke free. He fought the one responsible for making his life a living hell. He also fought his son, the prince, the swordsman, the green man and the bald dwarf. He also remembered finally taking revenge on the man he called father, planning to abandon him on a planet that's about to explode in a pod built for one person. He should have won that fight, but that Saiyan made him take a step back, and he managed to land a blow to his abdomen that caused his energy to run wild. He feels the sensation on his own chest as he coughs up blood seemingly on reaction.
The next steps are hazy, he remembered reaching a pod and following to Earth, the planet he is on right now. He was wounded and collapsed from exhaustion. Then the cries returned. He awoke stronger than before and dealt with a girl and a boy similar to the swordsman, but he swore he saw him in two other people of different ages; a child and a young adult. Lincoln unleashed his attack on them in a beam struggle, but he came he was knocked into the sun. But he still lived, there was that time when he was on volcanic wasteland and there was his father. Even in Hell he still reaped such glorious havoc and reached a form of great proportions. Then there was that time with that student, that orange and purple creature, that lookalike, chasing after those two kids from before along with another.
The green energy then flows into Lincoln, a sphere surrounding him. He glares at the Louds, who are scared to see that blank eyes staring through them with the intent to kill. "Sisters...Sisters! Gyagh...Urghh...? Goku...Goku! Kakarot...Kakarot?! KAKAROTTTT!" That last name is causing him to grow even angrier than before. "Kakarot? What's a Kakarot? Lola says to her twin. "I wish I knew sis, it sounds like some sort of exotic vegetable to me. "The raging Lincoln then starts to lightly hover, before shifting into a fetal like position. Lisa's eyes open wide. "Everyone! Get down! He's going to blow up this building and us along with it!"
The warning comes too late as he his limbs open outward and the pent up energy is released in all directions. Since the cafeteria is in the center of the building, the ensuing explosion envelops the entire school but stops abruptly at its borders to the neighboring streets. The reason why? At that moment, an electrical surge from inside Lincoln went off on his body, snapping back to his normal persona. The boy shakes his head as if to get rid of something foggy in his head, a sharp pain around his neck, and a headache that's about to split his skull wide open. His eyes however, are bloodshot and terrified. The first thought to come to his mind: "What have I done?"
Lincoln looks around. Royal Woods Elementary is completely destroyed. The building, the playground, part of the parking lot. All gone. In the cafeteria, he spots all his sisters and the other classmates that were in there with him knocked unconscious. Fortunately the lunch tables had managed to shield them from some of the children from the full force of the blast, including his friends and family. As for the others, he couldn't find them with a quick examination. He starts chuckling, as the light chuckle morphs into him laughing out loud like a psychopath. As to why the laughter, he didn't know why. What other choice could he do than just let it out? Then came the waterworks, as tears begin to flow from his eyes. All that negativity, wrath, doubt and despair had building up inside him for as long as he could remember. And today it has harmed those he cared about the most.
His actions now begin to sink in. If people manage to tie this to him, he will be gone, and so will his family. He needs to hide and let this all blow over. Yes Yes. That has to be a good choice. Right? He places his right index and middle fingers on his forehead, trying to think of places to go, somewhere off the grid. The Funny Farm Luan and Dad built? Close but no. Ruth's Lake House? Definitely no. He can't predict if Aunt Ruth is there or not, and he does not want to drop in on her. What about that Cabin that he and the McBride's Cabin went to for a winter trip. Perfect. The snow may or not be gone and its far enough from civilization that he can hide and recover.
Suddenly he vanishes on the spot.
Unity 123: Broken pride, the doubt of identity and self-worth, despair of the present day, fear for the future, anger against what has been denied, hatred against those who share his blood, all this leading to a violent monster that was never meant to be reborn. Will they survive this encounter, who were the unseen watchers and will Lincoln's sanity begin fading? Next Time on The Rise of Brolinc!
Dboy11000: What he said! Its been a dang long time and this story is finally getting updates...stay tuned.
Somewhere in an Alternate Universe...
Lynn lays on the floor, still unconscious and bleeding from the damage. Out of nowhere, a small bald man comes running at the sisters with a bag and throws something small out of the bag at Lynn. "SENZU BEAN!" He yells before running off, leaving everyone confused as he dashes out of the cafeteria. "What the-?" Lori exclaims in confusion. "Its best not to think about it" Luan tells Lori with the straightest look on her face. The story then continues as normal...
