A/N: Warning, spicy chapter!
Sorry if this seems short and rough, still gettin' the old gears going again.
You do realize I update things other than RWBY, right? Most folks don't see them often, and they get buried beneath the rest, but I do make a point of updating other things.
Must...continue...daily...updates...!
Sorry if this seems short, and likewise, sorry for vanishing. My health nose-dived and...other things happened. Things I'd rather not speak of here. I was gone for so long that many of the co writers I once worked with moved on.
Ergo, I'm mostly writing alone for now.
So here, have this little drabble while I get the gears spinning again.
As ever, I own no quotes, or references to other media. I just like the memes.
Hope this makes you smile.
"I'll save whomever I can. That's just who I am.
"Did you really thing losing an arm would slow me down? Nope! Not gonna happen!"

Meeting the Parents (Interlude II)
Kuvira rather enjoyed making love.
Perhaps that was selfish of her; losing herself in the base pleasures of the flesh while there was work yet to be done. To simply do anything else as their train sped toward Zaofu and all the chaos that awaited her. Maybe that made her weak. Maybe not. Perhaps it wasn't for her to say. But damn if it wasn't distracting.
Very.
VERY.
Distracting.
A small cry of pleasure fled from her lips as she pushed her hands into Naruto's chest and ground her hips against his, luxuriating in the simple feel of him as he filled her. His good arm rested loosely on her flank, careful to steady her against the gentle rocking of the train as they moved together. Skin to skin. Body to body. No arguments about politics or ideals or any of that nonsense, only the occasional grunt between the two of them, just a man and a woman simply enjoying one another's company.
"Careful." he offered a wry chuckle. "You're gonna break me at this rate."
The earthbender's eyes flashed. "Not bloody -Mmm!- likely! You don't know when to give up!"
"What can I say?" he grunted back, body its limit with her just as she did the same. "Its one of my defining traits."
His mouth met hers as she came, stifling her cry.
She finished and rolled off him, tucking her head against his neck. His lone limb circled round hers, pulling her close. In a rare instance of weakness, she allowed it. For a wonderful, thoughtless moment, Kuvira felt all the cares of the world fall away. She might've said three little words. She wasn't sure. Everything was always a bit fuzzy post-coitus.
"Honestly, you're going to get me pregnant at this rate...
Low laughter rumbled in her ears. "You say that like its a bad thing."
She shifted a bit, hips brushing his. "You already have little Tara to look after."
He kissed her forehead. "I don't think she'd mind a little brother or sister. Or two. Or three."
"Ass." she headbutted him, but the word lacked the bite of previous arguments. Perhaps he had a point. She got on well enough with his girl; but in the same vein, she didn't want to usurp her. Tara might be thrilled at the idea of a sibling now, yet she might no be so keen on it when there there was a squalling infant about.
"Maybe...after." she whispered the words into his chest. "When all this is over. When we have peace."
...alright."
Around them, the train shuddered to a halt; reminding Kuvira of their destination. It had been so easy to forget about it for a time...
"Ma'am?" a soldier's voice came over the comm. "We've reached Zaofu. I repeat, we've reached Zaofu. They...don't look happy to see us."
No, of course not. The Great Uniter was seldom met with a warm reception these days.
"Seems we've arrived." she sighed into his chest.
Naruto exhaled in a long-suffering groan of his own. "Time to face the music, then."
They readied themselves in short order.

Zaofu was much as Kuvira remembered it.
With its great domed cities and gorgeous panoramic views, it was a place of wonder and beauty, of high-minded thinking speckled with independence. When last she'd left this place, she'd been sent off with warm words and a worried reception, stiff perhaps, but still welcome. Somehow she doubted her reception would be quite so warm this time around...no matter how much she might wish otherwise.
After all, she'd slain Batar.
Su Yin wouldn't be best pleased with her and ohspiritsthereshewasnow...
Even with one arm, Naruto was a patient person.
Rather than leave Tara on the train like a sensible sort, he'd brought his ward with him. Perhaps that was a mistake.
"Kuvira."
...Su." she tried her hardest not to wince when she found her foster mother waiting on the platform. It was impossible. The older woman noticed Naruto, saw Tara holding his hand...and the distinct lack of her son.
Su yin scowled. "Who are you? Where's Batar?"
Kuvira stiffened.
Despite her every instinct screaming at her NOT to do it, she shrank back and hid behind Naruto. Such was the heat in Su's gaze. That intense stare bordering on disappointment, it reminded her of countless days past when she was a child with her hand caught in the cookie jar.
"Well," Naruto sighed and scratched the back of his head. "Ah, y'see, its kinda complicated, but, ah, fuck it...he's dead."
"What?!" The leader of Zaofu balked and touched a hand to her chest, taken aback. "How?!"
"I killed him." he lied eloquently. "Didn't have much of a choice."
Kuvira whipped around.
So did Su Yin.
"WHAT/WHAT?!"
A wave of metal struck Naruto in the face and sent him flying.
A/N: This strikes me as something Naruto would do, he's just the sort to take the blame and make someone feel better.
So...in the Immortal Words of Atlas... ...Review, Would You Kindly?
