The Nemesis
The former second in command watches the video of Megatron being destroyed, along with their space bridge. Despite losing to their enemies, and finding out that he had to deal with two new foes, he had to thank them for getting rid of the Decepticon leader for him.
Starscream: Such a shame. But I applaud you, Megatron… You certainly made a grand exit.
That's when Soundwave (who has been repaired) started walking towards Starscream.
Starscream: Ah, Soundwave. Cue the audio/visual. I wish to address the troops.
The silent decepticon does what he was told and turns on the monitor so the decepticon troops can see their new leader.
Starscream: The loss of Megatron, leader of the great Decepticon uprising, is certainly a blow to our cause. Yet we mustn't despair over his tragic demise, but instead embrace his ultimate sacrifice, and build upon the foundation he laid… With an even mightier hand.
One of the soldiers raised his hand to get the seeker's attention, who was annoyed but let him proceed.
Steve: With all due respect, Commander Star- Uh, Lord Starscream.
Starscream: Yes, yes. What is it?
Steve: If we failed to conquer earth under Lord Megatron's command, what hope do we have now while the autobots still defend it?
The decepticon seeker sighed in annoyance and decided to answer his question.
Starscream: Allow me to be crystal clear. I studied for millennia under our former master. Thus, I am equipped to lead you - I, Megatron's true heir, Lord Starscream, Emperor of Destruction!
The soldiers looked at their leader and each other in disbelief, whispering and murmuring. Starscream looked at them, scoffed, and walked away from the silent decepticon and the monitor.
Starscream: What use are troops who can't rise to the task of inflicting unspeakable destruction in my name?
While angry, however, Starscream did form an idea in his mind. He then smiled darkly.
Starscream: Ah, but wait. Legend tells of one capable warrior, one who exists here, upon this very planet, one who can be a student to my master.
Sonic the Hedgehog: Transformers Prime
Autobot Base
Everything was quiet in the base where the autobots, the human children, and the two mobians are. After defeating Megatron, the world was in peace. However, Prime looked sad and upset, which the medic noticed. The two-tailed also noticed it, while he was fixing his plane. They then decided to walk towards him.
Ratchet: Optimus, why so glum? This planet... All planets are finally free from Megatron's tyranny.
Tails: Yeah. With him gone, we can stop the decepticons much faster now. Even Mobius is safe from them since they don't know about it.
Optimus: Ratchet, Tails, I do not disagree. It's just... a small part of me hoped to change Megatron's mind, not extinguish his spark.
Ratchet: Optimus... His vileness was not slain by your hand, but by his own twisted arrogance!
Optimus only sighed in hesitation. The medic then looked down, remembering that Optimus and Megatron were the best of friends back on their planet before the War for Cybertron.
Ratchet: I'm sorry. I know the two of you had quite a history.
Tails knew what Optimus was saying... He has been in this situation before.
Tails: Optimus... I know how you feel. I once had a friend who was like that... Her name was Fiona... Fiona Fox. She was a Freedom Fighter, just like me and Sonic. I had a crush on her, but she liked Sonic more. However, it turns out that she didn't like Sonic either... She was cheating on him with Scourge, the Anti/Evil counterpart of Sonic in Moebius, the Anti-version of Mobius. I begged her not to go with Scourge... But she slapped me.
After the two-tailed fox finished explained that, the medic's eyes were filled and widen and shocked. Optimus haven't turn around yet, but if he did, his face would be pale and filled with sadness.
Ratchet: She has some nerve! Understandable that she wouldn't date you since she's over your age, but she had no right to assault you that way!
Optimus agreed what the medic has said.
Optimus: It must have been hard for you, to lose a friend who has became someone you wouldn't let that happen.
Tails nodded, before continuing the story.
Tails: After that, Fiona and I became enemies... More or less. I still think that there's good in her... And she has spared me a few times. She even told me that I was the only Freedom Fighter who has been kind to her, despite what happen. But the Fiona I once knew left years ago... After she joined Scourge and the Destructix.
Optimus: Just like the Megatron whom I once fought beside perished eons ago... The day he chose to become a Decepticon.
Prime then turns around and looks at them.
Optimus: The Decepticons may be in disarray, but they aren't without leadership. And while Starscream is no Megatron, he is far from predictable.
Suddenly they heard an explosion, nearby within the base.
Ratchet: Decepticons! We're under attack!
The two autobots and the two-tailed fox checked out the area, however, they realized that it wasn't a decepticon attack... It was Raf and Bumblebee working on a volcano.
Raf: It's no attack, Ratchet. It's my volcano...Or was.
The medic then looked at the direction where Miko and Bulkhead were working on a solar system project.
"Hold still, Bulkhead," Miko said, with bulkhead holding a display of the Planet's of Earth Solar System, sitting on the ground, "Jupiter needs its red spot." she places the tip of a paintbrush into a can filled with orange paint, she took it out of the paint can and the paint from the brush quickly dropped onto the floor, "Whoopsie!"
"What... in the Allspark... is going on in here?!" Ratchet asked.
Sonic: They're doing their school work, Ratchet.
Jack nodded while looking at the medic.
Jack: Yeah, our projects are due tomorrow.
The two-wheeler then picked up one of the pieces of the motorcycle they're building.
Arcee: Maybe it needs one of these doohickeys.
Jack: You're a motorcycle, Arcee. Shouldn't you know how to build a motorcycle engine?
Arcee: You're a human, Jack. Can you build me a small intestine?
Sonic and Cliff smirked and giggled a bit, knowing what Arcee meant. The two-tailed fox then walked back to his plane, while holding his toolbox.
Tails: I'm just working on my plane. Cliff gave me the parts that were destroyed back from the place that had a crash landing.
Ratchet: Well, you can't work on these projects and that plane here. You're… Making a mess.
Raf: But the science fair's a big part of our grade.
Cliffjumper: And Tails is just showing me how his plane works.
Miko: Yeah. If Bulkhead doesn't help with my solar system project...
The medic started interrupting the Japanese exchange student.
Ratchet: Oh? And what does Bulkhead know of your solar system, or Bumblebee of your volcanoes, or Cliffjumper of your planes, or...
Jack: Arcee of our motorcycles?
Sonic: Arcee is one of them, ha!
The two-wheeler gave Jack and the blue hedgehog a look, before the medic continued.
Ratchet: Precisely! We're not earthlings. And they're not scientists.
Sonic then got the medic's attention.
Sonic: Hey, doc! Tails may be young, but he knows a lot of invention, planes, and machines!
Tails: And Sonic and I knew a lot about our world, Mobius.
Sonic: And besides, Arcee, Cliffjumper, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee, you, and Optimus are our friends.
Before Ratchet could say anything else, Optimus got the medic's attention as well.
Optimus: And the autobots are their guardians, Ratchet. Sonic and Tails are also our allies and friends. Would it hurt to learn more of earth by helping our young friends with their schoolwork, and learn more of Mobius by listening to Sonic and Tails' adventure stories?
Ratchet: Well, maybe our young friends, Sonic, and Tails should try learning more of Cybertron.
Jasper Desert Canyon
In the desert, two decepticons were at the top of the canyon. The seeker and the spymaster were looking for something...Or someone, that was around the area.
Starscream: During the Great War, so much Energon was hidden on this forsaken rock that are departed master sent some of Cybertron's greatest to guard it, true warriors now lying in stasis, waiting to be reawakened. Such folly that, late in life, Megatron searches distant space for warriors rather than here, beneath his feet.
That's when the sensor beeped. The seeker understood and wasn't happy about it.
Starscream: What do you mean you can't pinpoint his signal? I know we are close!
He then turned around and faced Soundwave.
Starscream: Boost the power to your sensors!
The silent decepticon boosted the power, finally getting a signal from it.
Starscream: Yes. There.
The decepticons then transformed and flew to the location of the signal.
Back in the Autobot base, Sonic and Tails were telling the Autobots about their adventures back in their own world, Mobius. While they listen to their stories, they still help their human friends with their schoolwork.
Sonic: Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and I went to space to stop Shadow, Rouge, Eggman from taking over the world so we can get the Chaos Emeralds back.
Tails: That's when we joined forces to stop one of Eggman's grandfather's plans from destroying our world with his revenge plan.
The red mech smiles and smirks at his two partners.
Cliffjumper: Wow! You guys never stop saving the world, huh?
Sonic: Heh, you could say that.
Tails: Yeah.
Arcee: Anymore stories you two want to sure?
Tails: There's plenty more of stories where that came from, 'Cee.
The blue hedgehog and the two-tailed fox told the autobots how they first met, battled the mad doctor's countless robots, met other people, like Amy, Knuckles, Cream, Shadow, Rouge, Sally, and the Freedom Fighters. Tails also told them about Cosmo, a special friend of theirs. He told them how he met her and fell in love with her, but in the end, he had to kill her to save the whole universe from the Metarex. They truly felt bad for the fox, but Tails assured them that he got over it and that Cosmo is resting in peace.
In another section of the base, Bumblebee tells Raf about his time on Cybertron and how he wasn't a warrior yet.
Raf: Then how do you make warrior class?
Bumblebee: (A lot of experience).
Raf: But I seen you in action. You're awesome.
The blue hedgehog agree with the pre-teen.
Sonic: Yeah. After bashing 'Cons in your planet to this one, you should be warrior right now.
Bumblebee: (Thanks guys).
Optimus, hearing the conversation, walked over and placed his hand on Bumblebee's shoulder.
Optimus: Sonic, Raf, I second your opinions, but Autobot life cycles are much longer than those of humans and Mobians. And though it may be hard to believe, our young scout still has much to experience.
However, before Optimus could continue, the Cybertronian computer started beeping, showing a signal on the monitor so everyone can see it.
Ratchet: Exposed energon, and it's on the move.
Cliffjumper: And if we're not there to move it.
Bulkhead: Guess who must be.
Arcee: Decepticons.
Miko: Without Megatron?
Tails: If Megatron's gone, I'm guessing his second-in-command is in charge of the 'Cons now.
Sonic: Can those guys just take a break?
Optimus: Unfortunately, Megatron's legacy will live on, as others rise to take his place. Autobots, you have projects to complete. Ratchet, I may require aid.
The medic looked back at Raf, who was still working on his volcano.
Ratchet: Science fair is a big part of their grade... Perhaps I'm better suited to remain here and supervise.
Optimus: Very well.
The red/blue then looked towards the scout and the infiltrator.
Optimus: Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, let's see this energon in transit.
Bee nodded and Cliff bashed his fists together. The infiltrator then looked at the two-tailed fox and the blue hedgehog.
Cliffjumper: You guys want to come along?
Tails: Sure, Cliff! What about you, Sonic?
Sonic: Nah, you go ahead. Besides, I actually want to see where this show goes.
The red mech smirked, he knew that Sonic wanted to watch how the kids' projects will turn out, with the medic's "assistance".
Cliffjumper: Alright, just make sure to stay out of trouble.
The blue hedgehog gave them a thumbs-up as they left the base.
Back in the desert, Starscream and Soundwave got to the location of the warrior that was in stasis as a device embedded into a rock wall, moved out from the wall.
Starscream: Excellent, Soundwave. The cube.
The silent decepticon gave the seeker the cube-shaped energon, so that he can place it inside the device that was embedded into the wall. It then started opening.
Starscream: The energon fusion. It's working!
The light from the energon cube suddenly flashed that blinded the two cybertronians. Nearby where the two Decepticons were, a Ground Bridge opened, Bumblebee stepped out of it, followed by Cliffjumper, Tails with his Cyclone, and Optimus Prime.
Tails: This place seems quiet... And my scanner doesn't pick up any energon transit.
Cliffjumper: Yeah, if there was energon, there would be a lot of decepticons having energon mines in this place.
Bumblebee: (Well, it doesn't look like an energon transit nor a trap).
Optimus: No, it does not.
Optimus Prime then walked away, while advising his comrades to stay behind.
Optimus: Hold your positions and await my command.
Back with the seeker and the spymaster, the device that was embedded in the wall finally opened, almost revealing the decepticon warrior they were seeking.
Starscream: Awaken warrior, and serve... your new... Master!
The warrior was a cybertronian flier with a mostly green paint job with a little red and silver on him as well. He walked out of the device he was sleeping in, pounded both his fists together, and introduced himself as 'Skyquake'.
Skyquake: Skyquake serves only one master.
Starscream: Excellent. Your loyalty and devotion will set a fine example for the troops. No need to be timid, Skyquake. You may bow.
Skyquake: You fail to grasp my meaning. I am here on a mission, assigned to me by my one master... Megatron!
Starscream: Yes... Him... Sadly, Megatron is... No longer with us.
The green seeker didn't believe what he was hearing. He knew that Megatron was hard to kill, even if the Autobots sent their strongest to take him down.
Skyquake: Impossible.
Starscream: Why is this so difficult for everyone to accept? Skyquake, I located you. I awakened you. Thus I, Lord Starscream, am now your master!
Skyquake then growls at him, causing Starscream to step back a little in fear. The cowardly seeker would have been at the hands of the warrior, if Optimus haven't interfered.
Optimus: It has been awhile, Skyquake.
The warrior seeker looked towards Prime, remembering him back on their last encounter, pushing Starscream aside.
Skyquake: Optimus Prime. I haven't seen you since the battle of Technar. Megatron ordered me to annihilate you.
Optimus then started walking towards the recently awakened Decepticon, while Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Tails watched from the rocks they were hiding behind.
Optimus: That was a long time ago.
Skyquake: That may be, Prime, but my orders still stand.
Optimus: Is this ancient war still worth fighting, when so many comrades have been lost and worlds destroyed?
He then looked at Starscream.
Optimus: If you want to be a true leader, Starscream, then stray from Megatron's path and lead the Decepticons toward peace.
Starscream: I would be willing to consider a truce… If you would be willing to bow before me, Optimus Prime.
Upon hearing that, the green seeker was upset, knowing that Optimus would bow to no one! Not even a coward!
Skyquake: Again?! Bow to this!
He then attacked him with his shoulder, causing him to be thrown towards a rock wall. Starscream then transformed as soon as he got up and flew away. The green seeker then turned around when Prime got his attention.
Optimus: Skyquake, this is a new era... On another world. Side with the Autobots and help me end this conflict forever.
Skyquake: I will NEVER side with a Prime!
He then charged right at him, slamming him at a wall and then grabbed him and threw him. Starscream flew back where the spymaster was and transformed back into his robot mode. He then watched the battle between the Prime and the Warrior.
Starscream: What need have I for peace when I have Skyquake? With some discipline, he will learn to respect his new Master. And once it becomes known that Skyquake destroyed Optimus Prime under my command, All Decepticons will gracefully bow to me.
Meanwhile, Cliffjumper, Tails, and Bumblebee watched as Optimus activates his blaster and shot Skyquake at his chest, and Skyquake dodged as Optimus fires his blaster again and took out his own blaster, a machine gun, he fired the gun at Optimus's chest causing him to skid backwards. Seeing this, Cliffjumper and Bumblebee rushes towards Skyquake at different directions, however, Optimus saw and was scared about it.
Bumblebee: (Hang on, Prime)!
Cliffjumper: We got this!
Optimus: Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, no!
The two autobots jumped and activated their blasters. They then started shooting the warrior in the back. However, the green seeker felt those and turned around. He then tried to blast Bumblebee with his cannon, but the scout was too fast for him, who the starting umping from rock wall to rock wall and tried to attack him with his fists, but Skyquake grabbed him and threw him at the wall. The infiltrator saw this and ran towards the green seeker and punched his face twice. He then tried to uppercut him, but the warrior grabbed his arm and threw him where Bumblebee was.
Optimus approached Skyquake and moves his gun towards the sky. Bumblebee and Cliffjumper got up and tried to tackle him, only for Skyquake to throw them across the ground.
Tails saw this and decided that he did enough hiding and bashed Skyquake with his Cyclone. However, the warrior tried to grab the machine that the fox was controlling, only for Tails to blast his weapons' beam at him. Luckily for the decepticon warrior, he blocked most of the beam attack, hurting him a bit. Skyquake was surprised to see a two-tailed fox, even more surprised that a fox was controlling a machine.
Skyquake: I'm amused that Prime would let his minions do the work for him, even a little abomination like you, little one!
Tails was ticked off when he heard that insult. Being called 'Shorty' and 'Shrimp' by Wave was bad enough. Being called 'Freak' by Speedy was awful. Being called 'Abomination' by a decepticon was another level.
Tails: You're one to talk, Metal Head!
The two-tailed fox then fired four energy spheres at the decepticon warrior, who blocked two of them, but got hit by the other two.
Meanwhile on the cliff, Starscream was still watching, while Soundwave was recording the battle taking place between the three Autobots and the two-tailed fox against Skyquake.
Starscream: Do not miss a single moment, Soundwave! We shall need visual documentation of Optimus Prime's demise... for the historical record.
Back with tails and the three Autobots, they continued to battle Skyquake. After a few turns and blows, they regroup, noticing that Skyquake didn't transformed yet.
Bumblebee: (He hasn't transformed).
Cliffjumper: Yeah, I wonder why.
Tails: Don't all Autobots and Decepticons transformed?
Optimus, knowing why, looked back at his teammates.
Optimus: Skyquake has not yet acquired a vehicle mode.
Tails: Let's make sure he stays this way then.
Just as Tails finish stating his sentence, Skyquake rushes towards them holding his gun.
Optimus: Fall back!
The three autobots transformed into their vehicle modes and drove away, with Tails following them with his Cyclone, which had wheels attached to it. Skyquake wasn't happy that his foes flee away.
Skyquake: So time has made you a coward, Prime?!
The warrior then shooting blasting at them, but they dodged every shot from his cannon.
Back at the base, the medic was 'helping' Raf with his project. Sonic, Arcee, Bulkhead, Jack, and Miko were watching the show.
Raf: Um...What is it?
Ratchet: You'll find out.
Raf: But, Ratchet, shouldn't I be doing the work?
When Ratchet saw that the young boy tried to touch the metal volcano, he prevented him to do so.
Ratchet: Eh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't touch! Just watch... and learn.
Arcee and Bulkhead were getting bored of watching their medic, doing all the work that Raf was supposed to do.
Bulkhead: So, we're just gonna go help Jack and Miko finish their -
Ratchet: Without my supervision?! You want them to be right, don't you?
The two autobots looked at each other, before looking at the medic, who was weird, but science-happy look on his face.
Ratchet: Then watch... A Master... At work!
Sonic and Miko said the same thing before looking at Jack, who had a worried face.
Sonic and Miko: Control freak!
Back at the desert, Starscream and Soundwave lost sight of the Autobots, the two-tailed fox, and the decepticon warrior seeker.
Starscream: We've lost sight of them. Soundwave, why aren't you tracking them?
The spymaster showed him another signal, which confused the decepticon seeker.
Starscream: What? What is it? A second Decepticon life signal? But Skyquake is the only sleeper buried in this area.
He then looked closely and realized where that signal came from.
Starscream: The site of our destroyed space 're not telling me... that life signal belongs...To Megatron?
The leader of the decepticons was now scared. He just became the master of them and he did not want his old leader to take it away from him!
Starscream: B-b-but he was microns from the detonation point! Nothing could have survived that blast! Your sensors must be faulty! Ignore the contact! Delete the coordinates!
However, Soundwave didn't. Besides, Starscream realized that he must make appearances and make sure he doesn't cause any suspicions.
Starscream: Oh, what am I saying? O-of course this... Must be investigated. If lord Megatron is up there, I shall bring him home.
The spymaster nodded at his master, before getting new orders from him.
Starscream: Remain here and monitor the outcome. When Skyquake snuffs prime's spark, I must bear witness.
Starscream jumped off the canyon and transformed, flying up into the sky, heading to the location of the decepticon's destroyed space bridge. However, unknown to him, Soundwave sent his mini-con, Laserbeak to follow the seeker.
Meanwhile near the canyon, Agent Fowler was flying a military jet called a VTOL when he heard a transmission on the communications system, "Tango 6 Alpha to central command. We're picking up transmissions originating from unidentified technology, possibly hostile. We are moving to investigate."
"Negative, Tango 6 Alpha," Fowler said, pressing a button on his VTOL to contact the person sending the transmission, "This is Special Agent William Fowler intercepting. Strike your report from the records and provide origin coordinates. I'll take it from here." He began to fly to the canyon.
Back with Bumblebee, he was being chased by the decepticon warrior. He was then surrounded by him, due to him being cornered next to a dead end.
Skyquake: It will be a shame to crush you, bug. But it is my duty.
However, Optimus and Cliffjumper came up to Skyquake from behind in their alternate modes. The red-horned mech jumped on the decepticon's head. Before the decepticon warrior could blast him, Optimus went towards him and punched his face, knocking Skyquake down. Tails caught up to them. They then looked at the scout.
Optimus: Excellent strategy, Bumblebee.
Cliffjumper: Not half-bad, Bee.
Tails: Yeah, Bee. That was awesome!
Skyquake then got up from the punch and tried to hit the prime, but the autobot dodged his attack.
Optimus: Skyquake... Stay down.
He then punched the decepticon back to the ground. After that, they surrounded him, but that was when they heard noises. They turned around and saw a jet-wing at the sky.
Optimus: Fowler?
Tails: What's Fowler doing here?
While they were getting distracted, however, Skyquake had a smirk on his face, took his chance, and tried to scan Fowler's Jet.
Optimus: Agent Fowler, fall back!
However, Fowler was too late as Fowler's jet had some technical difficulties, due to the decepticon warrior scanning his jet. After Skyquake finished, he got off the ground, ran past the autobots and their fox ally, leaped up into the air, and then transformed into a jet. He flew all the way towards the air, flying next to Fowler's jet.
Agent Fowler: Well, I'll be a bald eagle!
Fowler was surprised that a decepticon had the same vehicle mode as his jet.
Skyquake: Air superiority achieved.
He then flew down and started shooting at the autobots and the two-tailed fox. Luckily, the autobots dodged its' attacks by transforming into their vehicle mods and tails placed a shield around him and the Tornado-themed Cyclone. Sky quake then sent two missiles at Bumblebee, but luckily for the scout, he dodged them. That was when Fowler was shooting at the decepticon warrior.
Fowler: Stealing plans for a classified military aircraft will not be tolerated on my watch!
Skyquake then went behind the agent and sent out heat seeker missiles at Fowler's jet.
Fowler: Heat seekers!
Agent Fowler kept on going, but the missiles were gaining on him. Luckily, he had a trick up his sleeve and went up, while the missiles went straight towards the rock wall, getting destroyed. The agent then had a smirk on his face.
Fowler: I still got it.
Tails then realized that Fowler might need some help taking the decepticon down from the sky. So, he transformed his tornado-cyclone back into a plane and flew into the sky, flying next the agent in a few minutes.
Tails: Ready to send this 'con back to the ground, chief?
Fowler smirked at the two-tailed fox as they went ahead against Skyquake.
Meanwhile in Space, at the destroyed space bridge, Starscream was looking around for Megatron's body, he approached a chuck of the metal from the space bridge transformed into his robot form and landed on it, looks around, "No one could have survived this," he said before sighing "As I suspected, faulty sensors. The last thing I need now are rumors that Megatron is still…" he stops in mid-sentence as he hears Megatron groan by a radio transmission, he gasps, as he sees Megatron floating in space, he jumps onto another piece of the damaged space bridge before going towards the badly damaged warlord. "Megatron."
Suddenly the body of Megatron jolted to life for a split second, "Die!" Megatron said, grabbing him by the arms, scaring Starscream in the process, before falling back and going unconscious.
"But how?" Starscream asked before notices that there was a sliver of Dark Energon still embedded in his chest, "Ah, Dark Energon," he faces him, "everyone believes you are deceased. Who am I to disappoint then… Master?" He plucked the Dark Energon from his chest, Megatron groans as he woke for a second before falling back unconscious. "And this time stay dead!"
Suddenly he heard Laserbeak's flying sound, he realizes that Soundwave has dispatched Laserbeak to watch him. He then hid the Dark Energon shard behind him. "Uh…" he turns around and sees Laserbeak approach, "Soundwave, if you are listening, I have found Lord Megatron, and he is… unwell. We must transport him to sickbay immediately."
Back at the desert canyon, Tails and Agent Fowler tried to stop Skyquake, who was chasing down Optimus, Bumblebee, and Cliffjumper. However, Optimus got hit by one of the missiles, causing him to transform into his vehicle mode. Cliffjumper went to his vehicle mode as well, now hoping that Bumblebee has a plan.
Speaking of the scout, Bumblebee evaded Skyquake's bullets as he accelerated toward a natural formed ramp and transformed as he reaches the top of a cliff, saw Skyquake approach the other side of the cliff, he then ran toward the other side of the cliff, jumped down and jumped onto Skyquake's wing. The decepticon tried knock the scout off of him, by pushing against a rock wall, but this was unsuccessful as Bumblebee stayed on top of him and flew upwards. Optimus and Cliffjumper saw this and activated their com-links so they can call backup from Fowler and Tails.
Optimus: Agent Fowler, we require immediate assistance.
Fowler nodded as he gotten serious of the problem. So was Tails when Cliff called him.
Cliffjumper: Hey, Tails. Do you think you can do something about Skyquake shooting at us?
Tails: I'll see what I can do.
While Skyquake was dealing with Bee, the two-tailed fox hacked into the decepticon's weapons system. Provided by the decepticon plans back on their warship, Tails used this to hack into Skyquake. Next time Skyquake tried to blast the two autobots, his cannon wasn't working.
Tails: Bumblebee, do your thing!
The scout began to punch him, grabbing the wires out of him on the right side of Skyquake's alternate mode and then did the same to the other side. Skyquake in his vehicle form began to lose altitude as he began to fall towards the canyon at a high speed. Bee then looked at Fowler and Tails.
Bumblebee: (Thanks guys)!
Tails: No problem, Bee!
Fowler: Anytime, fella. Ground floor's coming fast.
A few seconds later, Bumblebee jumped from Skyquake onto Fowler's jet. Skyquake soon crashed into the canyon. Everyone saw this, as Fowler smirked, knowing that his job here was done, and the decepticon warrior was no more.
Fowler: Happy landings, 'con.
The scout then jumped off of Fowler's jet and landed on the ground, running to his allies that were at the canyon. Tails then transformed his plane back into a mech and landed on the ground as well, following the scout. Optimus and Cliffjumper approached a half-transformed, but destroyed Skyquake, who closed his optics. Optimus deactivated his battle mask as Bumblebee and Tails walked up next to the Prime and Cliff.
Optimus: Had Skyquake chosen to stray from his master's path, we might not be burying him today.
While they felt bad for the fallen decepticon, they didn't notice that Soundwave watched the whole thing... However, he wasn't the only one... A blue metal-lookalike also saw the whole thing. He then flew up to the sky and teleported out of the area.
Back at the Autobot base, Optimus and Cliffjumper watched Bumblebee getting fixed up by Ratchet, while Tails told Sonic about his battle against Skyquake.
Optimus: Bumblebee, putting yourself at risk was perhaps not the wisest of strategies, but you performed admirably.
Cliffjumper: You did great out there, Bee.
Bumblebee then comes out of the machine.
Bumblebee: (Thanks guys).
Tails: Then, I hacked into Skyquake's weapons systems, Bumblebee took the wires out of him, and we sent him into the ground.
The two-tailed fox smiled proudly after he finished his story, impressing his blue hedgehog friend.
Sonic: Wow, Tails. Not bad, not bad at all.
Tails: Thanks. So, where are the others?
Sonic: Ohh, you'll enjoy it once they come back.
Tails was confused when Sonic was trying not to laugh. That was when they heard noises from the hall entrance. The medic was happy that Arcee and Bulkhead came back with the human children.
Ratchet: Aha-ha-ha! There you are.
Raf and Miko exited Bulkhead and Jack hopped off Arcee before the two autobots transformed and stood behind them.
Ratchet: Well? How were my - Uh, our projects received?
The kids looked at each other before looking back at the medic.
Raf: Well...
Jasper High School (Flashback)
Earlier that day at their school, during the science Fair, Miko stood inside a class room with a model replica of Cybertron with both of its moons. "Miss Nakadai, what planet would that be?" A judge asked the Japanese exchange student.
"Um… Cybertron?" She answered hesitantly before the model of cybertron fell from its hook.
Next was Jack, who had a giant saw.
With Jack he stood in the same room with a giant saw, "It's large, Mr. Darby, but is it operational?" The judge asked Jack, he activates the saw which was sent rolling around causing people to scream.
The last, but not least, was Raf, who was a little afraid to do this, due to 'someone' restarting and doing all the work for him.
"I hesitate to ask, Mr. Esquivel, but, uh is it active?" The judge asked, Raf steps a few feet away from the volcano, presses a button on a remote, the volcano then suddenly fires a laser up towards the ceiling of the school, creating a hole in the ceiling, pedestrian walking on the sidewalk heard the laser and looked up, wondering what the sound was.
In the present, Tails was surprised and shocked after he heard the story. He couldn't believe that the autobot medic did their project and most likely got them in trouble with the school and with their parents. The three kids gave the medic their looks, indirectly blaming him for their failed grades. Of course, the medic wasn't happy about this.
Ratchet: Well, on our planet, you would have been awarded the highest honors.
Sonic, who was smirking, got his attention.
Sonic: 'The highest honors'? You turned Jack's motorcycle project into a looking killing-machine and that volcano you did for Raf just messed up their school roof. Miko's project... Well, the teachers expected that from her, even though she didn't do it.
Ratchet only grumbled as he walked away.
Ratchet: Absolutely no gratitude. See if I help them.
Once the autobot medic walked away, Bee went up to Prime.
Bumblebee: (They shouldn't have asked for Ratchet's help).
Optimus: Indeed, Bumblebee. Our human friends would have been wise to stray from Ratchet's path.
Back on the Decepticon warship, Starscream and Soundwave stood in the sickbay with Megatron hooked up to a life support system.
Starscream: The troops will be pleased to hear of our success in rushing Lord Megatron into Stasis. Let us hold that our Master pulls through.
