Jennie
Lisa insisted on being there when GD picked me up the following night, much to my embarrassment. She stayed downstairs while I got ready, I didn't know what we were doing tonight so I went for a denim skirt that cut off at mid thigh and a fitted black button-down shirt with a red lacy bra underneath that you could see a little if you looked closely enough which I assumed GD would do. I went for ballet flats tonight in case we were walking anywhere. I put half my hair up and curled the rest. I was ready early so I went downstairs with Lisa. As I walked in, her eyes went wide and her mouth popped open for a split second before she re-arranged her expression and gulped.
"Do I look that bad? Should I change?" I asked looking down at myself.
"No, you look beautiful Jennie, it's just you should put on a different top, you can see your bra in that one." She said frowning and rubbing the back of her neck nervously.
I laughed. "That's the whole point! That's how you wear it, you've seen this before." I said shaking my head at her.
"Yeah well I wasn't trying to get into your pants like he will, he'll see that as an invitation!" She shouted then immediately looked apologetic, "Sorry didn't mean that, I'm just a little worried that's all." She said looking me over again slowly.
After a couple of seconds she didn't speak and I started to feel a little uncomfortable, why the hell is she looking at me like that? Her eyes lingering over my breasts and legs, holy crap is Lisa lusting after me? "Lisa, are you checking me out?" I cried a little shocked, oh God please say yes and kiss me again!
She jumped about a mile in the air and looked around a little guiltily, "Nooo..." She said loudly looking uncomfortable. Wow she really was, well that just proves she is a player.
I laughed, "Seriously I was joking." I said laughing as she sighed and resumed rubbing her neck.
"You're not going to embarrass me are you?" I asked looking at her pleadingly.
"I just want to talk to him that's all," she said just as the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it," I said turning to run but she grabbed my hand and pulled me behind her, laughed and ran to the door first.
"Better luck next time little girl." She said as she opened the door still chuckling.
"Hey Lisa, long time no see." GD said easily,
"I'll be right back," Lisa said pushing me backwards and stepping outside and starting to shut the door behind her. I rammed my hand against the door stopping it from shutting in my face.
"Lisa are you serious?" I asked shocked, was she really going outside to speak to GD in private? "What am I like 5? You can't threaten him in front of me?" I asked slapping the back of her head lightly.
GD chuckled. "It's ok, lets let her get it off her chest." he said with a wink pulling the door closed, I just stood there shocked my mouth hanging open like an idiot. As soon as the door closed the shock was gone and I quickly put my ear to the door trying to listen to what they were talking about, the only thing I could hear was muffled voices, no distinct words. I sighed and went to sit on the stairs to wait.
After a couple of minutes Lisa opened the door and walked back in shaking her head and muttering under her breath, GD looked annoyed too. "All done now with the grown up both of you talk?" I asked sarcastically, GD chuckled as I shot a death glare at Lisa.
"Yeah all done, have a good time." Lisa said throwing her arm around my shoulders. She kissed my cheek and brought her face to my ear, "Any problems at all call me and I'll come and pick you up, I don't care what time or where you are, you understand?" She whispered fiercely.
"Right, ok well I'll see you tomorrow Lisa." I said grabbing my jacket, I looked up to see GD and Lisa glaring at each other. "Guys and testosterone seriously that is so annoying." I said to myself grabbing GD's hand and pulling him out of the door whilst rolling my eyes.
"You look great, nice legs." GD said with a smirk as we walked to his car.
"Thanks but if your trying to impress me you need to work on your compliments." I said giggling at his frown,
"Work on my complements? Ok how about," he said as he pushed me gently against the side of his car and put his hands on either side of my head bringing his face close to mine. "You look incredibly hot and your making my mouth water." he said with an easy smile.
I giggled again, "A little better." I said with a smirk,
"You're incredibly beautiful?" he said raising an eyebrow.
"Better" I said as he inched closer to me.
"Ok how about this then, you look so hot it would totally be worth the five years I would get if I had sex with you right now," he said as he put his lips to mine for the second time.
I giggled against his lips and pushed him back. "Really? No that doesn't really work for me, 1. Who said I would have sex with you anyway? And 2. Lisa is watching and I think she's about three seconds from coming over and kicking your ass." I said opening the car door.
"Yeah well that would be totally worth it too." he said with a chuckle.
We drove to the shopping complex chatting about easy friendly stuff, he was really easy to talk to and I felt comfortable with him. "So what are we doing here?" I asked as we walked into the building, this was a weird place to take someone for a date.
"Well there's this little café in the back that does the best pie in the world," he said taking my hand and pulling me in the right direction.
"So you've done extensive pie research in other countries?" I asked teasingly.
He laughed, "You really are a funny girl." he said shaking his head and smiling at me.
"So they tell me." I said rolling my eyes. "Try not to get me any evil death glares from psycho waitresses today ok?" I asked giving him a cocky smile.
"I'll try my hardest Jailbait," he said smirking.
Just then a waiter came over, "Hi what can I get you?" he asked in a bored voice not looking up from his pad.
"I'll have the cheeseburger but without mustard and apple pie with ice cream for desert." GD said then looked at me.
"And for you miss?" the waiter said finally looking up at me, he was quite young probably my age, he looked at me as I ordered my chicken burger and apple pie. His eyes not leaving me once, they drifted down to my cleavage and I shifted uncomfortably.
"Dude are you fucking seriously staring at my girlfriends tit's while I'm sitting right here?" GD asked standing up looking really angry.
"Eh, no I just err.." he stuttered stepping back,
"Just go make the food before I break your fucking face." GD almost growled looking terrifying. Holy crap! Wow he really is possessive, and he has a temper jeez that poor waiter guy!
"GD, that was uncalled for and embarrassing," I whispered scowling,
"What? Jeez didn't you see him staring at you? Christ I could almost see his hard on," he said scowling back at me.
We sat in angry silence for a couple of minutes and I was just wondering if I had made the wrong decision coming tonight when he reached over and took my hand. "Sorry, I didn't mean to embarrass you," he said sincerely.
"It's ok, but I can look after myself you know, you can't start a fight with people for looking for God sake, otherwise I would have to fight every girl on the planet for looking at your pretty face." I said shaking my head, wow he really had double standards.
"You would fight for me?" he asked raising his eyebrows.
"No, I don't fight, I'd get Lisa to do it." I joked laughing.
"What is Lisa your little lap dog? You really have her well trained." he said laughing and shaking his head mockingly.
"I really don't like people taking the mick out of other people, Lisa's my best friend in the whole world, just lay off her would you? I mean what the hell is up with you two anyway?" I asked frowning.
"Well, when Lisa tried out for the team Coach put her as my second, I got injured and was out for a few weeks and when I came back I had to share my place with her because she played so well while I was off, I don't do well with sharing, so I slept with the girl she was seeing." he said with a shrug as if it was nothing. I gasped, holy crap no wonder Lisa doesn't like him.
"You what?" I said sitting back shaking my head in disapproval.
"Hey I'm not like that anymore that was three years ago, and Lisa wasn't serious about her anyway, she was just pissed because I got in her girl pants quicker than she did," he said proudly. Is he proud of himself for that? Wow, ok he's not what I thought he was at all.
I stood up, "Can you take me home please? I think I've made a mistake in coming out with you." I said grabbing my jacket and turning towards the door.
"What? No! Come on Jennie, please," he said grabbing my arm and pushing me back into the booth roughly and then he slid in next to me so I couldn't get out.
"Just move." I said venomously trying to stand up again but he pushed down hard on my leg to stop me from moving anywhere.
"Just hear me out, please I'm sorry," he said with the puppy dog face. I shook my head,
"I just want to go home, will you take me?" I asked sternly,
"No," he answered looking a little smug.
I reached into my pocket and pulled out my phone "What are you doing?" he asked frowning again.
"I'm calling Lisa to come and get me." I said snapping open my phone angrily, he snatched it out of my hand and put it in his pocket. "What the hell? Give me my phone GD I'm not kidding around." I said giving him my best death glare and holding out my hand.
"Jennie, listen to me, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that and I know I shouldn't have done that to Lisa in the first place but I was so angry at her, after my parents died the team was the only thing I had left, everything fell apart, that was the only thing that kept me sane and Manoban came along and ruined it. I was angry so I lashed out, I'm not like that anymore I swear," he said sincerely looking into my eyes with a begging expression. "Please." he said quietly looking at the table.
Oh for goodness sake how can you say no to that? But this boy has some serious issues. "Ok fine, I suppose I can't go before I've tasted the worlds best pie." I said still a little angry and rolling my eyes. His head snapped up and he beamed at me a big grin spread across his face. He bent his face towards mine going in for a kiss.
"Cheeseburger?" a older lady asked standing there with two plates of food, obviously the waiter was too scared to come back.
"Wow you got great timing," he muttered with a chuckle looking at the lady. "Yeah cheeseburger that's mine." he said shaking his head in amusement, that was the second time he had tried to kiss me tonight and failed, I hid my grin by stealing one of his fries.
"So what do you want to do now?" he asked after we had finished eating.
"I don't know what do you think?" I said as we walked out of the café, I looked up and spotted an amusement arcade across the way. "Oh," I said so excited I almost jumped up and down, "How about that?" I said pointing and grabbing his hand pulling him in there not waiting for his answer. It was packed and really noisy.
"An amusement arcade?" he asked with a grin, I nodded and dragged him to the change booth.
"I love these places, I didn't even know there was one here." I said jamming a ten down excitedly for some change.
He rolled his eyes and handed me a pot to put the change in, I grabbed his hand and almost ran through the crowd to the slot machines, "Wow excited much?" he asked wrapping his arms around me from behind.
"Shh, can't talk. I'm playing." I said jokingly pointing to my machine, he chuckled and held me tighter.
After about two minutes I'd used all of my money, I know I'm bad at these machines but what can I say at least I had fun right? "OH MY GOD! They've got air hockey." I said with a stupid grin on my face.
He laughed at me shaking his head, "Wow you're really easy to please, listen, go wait by the table make sure no one gets it and I'll get some more change." he said giving me a little push in the right direction.
I stood by the table and waited for him, I felt someone slap my ass and I smiled as I turned opening my mouth to make some comment about being a minor but it wasn't him. I stepped back frowning a little, there were three guys standing there all tall and looking at me like I was something to eat, ok now I really wish I had listened to Lisa and changed.
"Hello beautiful." one of them purred walking to stand beside me, he raised his hand and brushed it against the side of my face, I slapped it away.
"Get the hell off me." I said as I tried to walk past, he just grabbed my arm roughly making me stop.
"Don't walk away, we just want to have a little fun that's all." one of the others sneered looking me over making me feel a little sick. "You like to have fun?" the other one asked licking his lips, the one holding my arm started pulling me towards the door, holy shit what the hell do I do? I opened my mouth to scream for help but his hand covered it quickly. It was so busy no one paid the slightest bit of attention.
"What the fuck are you doing? You better let her go now before I beat the shit out of you." GD growled from behind me, they turned to look and I caught sight of him, he looked so pissed off he was terrifying.
"Easy there bud, we were just talking to the girl here." the one holding me said pulling me against his chest.
"I said let her go now and if you hurt her I swear to God I'll kill you." he said taking a step forward his jaw clenched tight in anger.
"I haven't hurt you have I?" the guy said against my ear making me flinch away from the contact, I shook my head and looked at GD.
He took another step forward and one of the other guys stepped forward at the same time, GD ducked down slightly and punched the guy straight in the chest, the guy staggered back holding his chest wheezing for breath. "Let her go now," he growled taking another step forward, the other stepped up and tried to punch him but he missed, GD grabbed hold of his hair and brought his knee up at the same time as bringing the guys head down smashing his face hard into his knee, he pushed the almost unconscious guy to the floor and turned his attention back to me again.
"You have one last chance and I'm warning you, if you hurt even one hair on her head I will rip your fucking head off." he said through his teeth. The Guy pushed me towards GD holding his hands up in a I surrender pose sneering. GD shoved me behind his body and carried on walking forward.
"Hey what is going on here? Hey! Stop! Every one get down on your stomachs hands above your heads." a male voice shouted. I turned to see two police officers with their guns out pointing them at GD and the other guy. GD took a deep breath and hissed it out through his teeth, he closed his eyes and laid on his stomach on the floor.
The officers came up and put cuffs on all four of the guys, guns still out. "Wait what are you doing that to him for? It wasn't his fault! He was helping me." I said quickly when I realised they were taking GD too.
"Miss we'll have this straightened out by morning but your boyfriend was fighting in a public place, I don't care who started it." the officer said nastily as he started to drag them off towards the exit.
"No." I said starting to cry,
"Hey wait, you can't leave my girlfriend here on her own please." GD said pleadingly to one of the officers.
He looked back at me, "Fine, Miss, you can come with us to the station while we sort this out." he said waving a hand for me to come.
I begged them the whole way to the station but they just wouldn't listen, I was sitting up front with one cop while the other was sitting in the back of the van with the three guys and GD. After we got there one guy led me to the reception where I was told to wait and someone would come and take a witness statement. My first thought was to call Lisa but jeez she already hated GD. I could call Brian but I knew he would kill me if he knew I was here and would never let me out with GD again even if this mess wasn't his fault. I pulled out my phone and looked at it, I knew I needed Lisa's help and they said I needed an adult present to make my statement and Lisa was over 18, and apart from that I just needed her here with me.
I took a deep breath and dialled her number, she answered on the first ring like she was sitting there waiting for me to call, and in truth she probably was. "Jennie? What's happened? What's wrong?" She said, no hello or anything.
"Lisa I need your help, but you need to calm down. I'm fine, just listen to me ok?" I asked as she took a shaky breath.
"What's up?" She asked concern colouring her voice.
"GD's been arrested and I'm—" I started but she exploded
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT ARRESTED? WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?" She almost screamed I had to hold the phone further away from my ear wincing.
"Calm the hell down and listen! Some guys grabbed me and tried to force me to go with them, GD saw and he saved me and ended up fighting in the shopping complex and then the cops came and arrested him, but he didn't do anything, well he did, he kneed one guy in the face and punched another in the chest but he was defending me I swear, but they won't listen to me! They haven't even taken my statement." I said bursting into tears again.
"Jennie bear, it's ok don't worry, I'll come and talk to them ok? Where are you? Downtown?" She asked concerned again.
"Yeah, on 13th" I sniffed.
"Ok, I'll be there in about 15 minutes." he said and I could hear the sound of her car starting up.
Lisa ran in a few minutes later and I wrapped my arms tightly around her neck probably nearly choking her but she didn't complain she just rubbed my back while I sobbed onto her shirt. When I had calmed slightly she pulled back to look at me putting her forehead to mine and cupping my face in her hands.
"Jennie, tell me the truth before I go over there and speak to the clerk, did GD start this fight?" She asked looking into my eyes.
I sniffed. "I promise, they grabbed me and he stopped them but when the cops came he was fighting so they won't listen to me." I said through my tears.
"Ok Jennie bear, just wait over there." She said pointing to the chairs by the window.
She walked over to the desk and spoke quickly with the desk clerk, she was waving her arms around and talking quite animatedly gesturing to me but I couldn't hear what she was saying. About a minute later the desk clerk shook her head and picked up her phone, Lisa stood there in silence waiting. After another couple of minutes another officer in plain clothes walked out and spoke to Lisa and shook her hand, Lisa nodded her head in my direction and they both started walking over to me.
I stood up as they approached. "Miss Kim, we're ready to take your witness statement now, Miss Manoban has consented to be your adult." he said nodding to a door I didn't even realise was behind me. We went in and sat down the officer turned on a little tape recorder and they started the interview. It took about 30 minutes I had to keep going over and over everything. But after that he just told us to wait back in the reception again.
"How in the hell did you do that Lisa? I've been asking and asking since I got here but they wouldn't even talk to me." I said resting my head on her shoulder.
"You just have to know the right things to say that's all, I told them that we would be phoning the press office to report how they treat people who should have been treated like a hero and a victim, if they didn't come and take your statement soon." She said with a shrug.
I lent in and kissed her cheek, "Thank you for doing this for me." I said giving her a weak smile. She smiled back and wrapped her arms around me tighter.
After another 10 minutes or so GD walked into the reception frowning, when he saw me he smiled. I jumped up and threw my arms around his neck crying again, God what's with all this crying you silly girl! I bet you look awful and are covered in snot, as I pulled away he chuckled.
"Yep that hug was worth getting arrested for." he said with an easy grin.
"Are you ok? Is your hand ok?" I asked taking his hand and looking at it, it must have been sore where he punched that guy.
"I'm fine, I was worried about you," he said putting a finger under my chin and lifting my face, he wiped my tears away and sighed.
Lisa walked up and did the thing that I had never expected to see, she held her hand out for GD to shake. Even GD looked totally shocked, "Thanks for looking out for Jennie, I owe you." Lisa said shrugging.
"You don't owe me Lisa, it's fine." GD said shaking her hand, they both looked so uncomfortable I couldn't help but laugh. They both looked at me like I was crazy, Lisa just rolled her eyes, she already knew I was crazy anyway.
"So come on, I'll drive you to the shopping complex to get your car." Lisa said as she walked off through the doors. GD just took my hand and walked to the car in silence. I sat in the back trying desperately not to fall asleep.
"I think I should take Jennie home, it's almost 1am, if she comes home at this time with you her parents will go crazy." Lisa said frowning, she's right they would probably never let me go out with him again.
"No that's fine, I'll take her." GD said sternly.
"Umm actually GD, I think Lisa's right, my parents are going to be pissed that I'm out past curfew, it will be easier if Lisa drives me home honestly." I said quietly, he looked at me over his shoulder for a couple of seconds then nodded. We drove the rest of the journey in awkward silence.
Lisa pulled up next to GD's car and I got out with him. "Well that was interesting." I joked with a smile.
"I'm sorry that I got arrested and ruined our date." he said looking at the floor. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him hard, after a couple of seconds I ran my tongue along his bottom lip, when I got to his lip ring I sucked it into my mouth rolling my tongue over it, he moaned and wove his fingers into my hair opening his mouth and slipping his tongue in massaging mine. His kissing was forceful, demanding and sexy as hell but I couldn't help comparing it to the kiss that I shared with Lisa and I must admit that while this kiss was great, my body wasn't alight.
I pulled away with a blush to realise that Lisa must have seen that. "Thank you for what you did." I said pecking his lips again.
"Mmm, thank you for what you just did." he said huskily. I grinned and rolled my eyes at him.
"I better go, my parents are already going to be worrying about me." I said pulling away and walking back to Lisa's car.
"Hey Jailbait, you going to the game tomorrow?" he called, I nodded
"Provided I'm not grounded." I called back.
He grinned "Ok well I'll see you there, if your not grounded." he said getting in his car, I sighed, ok time to face the another music.
