A/N: Before I begin, I'm so so so sorry for the long wait. I had writer's block plus my online classes just started and i really didn't have enough time to write. I won't bore y 'all too much, let's just head right in.

Chapter 5 : Setting things straight
It was 3:00 am and the living room was unusually packed with the inn inhabitants. Everyone's gaze remained fixed on the chestnut haired shaman as he nervously paced around the room.
"So remind me again why you decided to wake us all up at 3 f%# * am in the F# **%%% morning?" Ren complained, his eyes a strong remainder of how much sleep he got(or lack thereof)
"Ren ,keep your voice down, Hana is still sleeping upstairs" Pirika warned her grumpy boyfriend while pointing at a very pissed Anna.
''yeah dude and Himiko and Manta are asleep too" Chocolove pointed out.
Yoh finally stopped his frantic movements and turned to face the now impatient crowd behind him.
"Ok I'm pretty sure most of us don't know why we're here?" Yoh exhaled
"No s*&^,sherlock" Nichrome yawned.
"Ehmm well as you all know, Himiko is obviously up to something and is no good for Manta" Yoh started
"And?" Hao raised a brow .
"And Lyserg, Jeanne and I talked about it and we thought of something, I already Informed Anna about it but the rest of you are unaware" Yoh added
"What is it Yoh?" Ryu asked with much anticipation
"I think it's best if Lyserg tells us" Yoh suggested
Everyone focused their vision on the green-haired dowser, who just let out a soft sigh.
(A/N: It's 3 am there so the production crew isn't present, just thought I'd point that out)
''Well, we've decided to investigate Himiko, find out her motives and who she really is"
Everyone look unfazed by what the Detective just said only giving him gazes that were trying to say "Well duh..."
" Well, obviously" Machi took the liberty of saying it herself
"Er..what I mean is we need evidence, and to get that we've devised a plan to get this evidence we need"
"And what is this "Plan"?" Mari asked genuinely curious.
"Well you see, we've decided to secretly record her when she acts up but that's not all there is to it"
"Well, spill the rest detective" Hao said placing emphasis on the detective
"As I was saying" He mildly rolled his eyes "We need to find any form of evidence we can get within two weeks''
"Why two week?" Faust asked with a slight frown in his face
"Well, you see I kind of had a talk with Manta and that's what we negotiated" Yoh responded
" Well there you have it'' Lyserg gestured at the brown haired shaman
Majority of the people in the room were certainly astonished, some didn't really give a damn and the few others just really wanted to crawl in bed at that very moment, tired of engaging in this conversation at such an ungodly hour.
'' Ok then, explain how exactly you intend to find this evidence" Ren tried his very best to keep his voice down as he could already feel his girlfriend's stares on him
" Yeah, how is this supposed to work?" Nichrome added with a bored expression on his face
''well we need to search her room for anything implicating"
"What if she has none?" Tamao asked
"We can't say for sure if we don't check"
Nobody brought fort anymore questions, agreeing that Lyserg did have a point. They had to take anything they could get and they couldn't say for sure that they wouldn't be able to find anything if they made no effort to even check. It sounded simple but at the same time complicated.
''so that's the plan then?" Horohoro asked
''Yes ,that's pretty much it" Jeanne answered
"We need to get them out of the house to make this work" Ren stated matter-of-factly
"don't worry we already have a plan to convince both Manta and Himiko to leave temporarily"
"But what if it doesn't work?'' Pirika nervously asked.
''It has to work, if there's somewhere we might find evidence then it's in that location" Lyserg said with determination in his voice.
With a new found determination and a much stronger resolve the inn Inhabitants set out to carry out their rather complex yet simple plan, in order to get a certain Raven haired woman out of their dwelling but not before getting a little shut eye.
Next time on keeping up with the shaman king:
''This is Manako we're talking about, it wouldn't be hard to convince her" Yoh reassured the woman
" I guess you're right"
''we've searched everywhere there's nothing here"
" Perhaps we just keep checking the wrong places'' He leaned back on the wardrobe as a bunch of files fell down form on top of it
"wait a minute? what's this?" She gasped in shock at what was laid out before her eyes
