We soon arrived at the Triskelion and we headed to our position. Natasha was already doing her part so now it was time for ours. We got into position and Maria Hill caused a malfunction that screwed up the signal in their earpieces. Soon, the door opened and I saw a Com Tech on the other side. Sam, Maria and I held up our guns.

"Excuse us." Steve said politely. The guy held his hands up and stepped aside. We entered into the room. Steve then went to the microphone as we moved the other crew members. "Attention, all SHIELD agents. This is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days, some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth. SHIELD is not what we thought it was, it's been taken over by Hydra. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The Strike and Insight crew are Hydra as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want: absolute control. They shot Nick Fury and it won't end there. If they launch those Hellicarriers today, Hydra will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way, unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot, but the price of freedom is high, it always has been, and it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not."

He ended his speech and I had to joke by saying, "Did you write that down first, or was it off the top of your head? I almost cried." Steve just shook his head and laughed. I laughed back and I heard Sam chuckle in the background.

"They're initiating launch." Maria said suddenly. We all looked at each other and headed out. We rushed to the Hellicarriers.

"Hey, Cap, how do we know the good guys from the bad guys?" Sam asked.

"If they're shooting at you, they're bad." Steve yelled back. We reached the edge of the building and Sam took off as Steve and I jumped. I summoned my ice and jumped on the ice, my boots changing to skates and I slid down it like a slide. I jumped off once I reached the ground as Steve touched down and rolled.

"Hey Cap, I found those bad guys you were talking about!" Sam yelled over the coms.

"You okay?" Steve asked.

"I'm not dead yet." Sam replied. I rushed forward and Sam swooped down and grabbed my hand and we took off. I helped Sam take down the jets that were after us.

"Falcon, status?" Maria called.

"Engaging. About to drop Frostbite off." Falcon said. We decided on a name for me and I decided on Frostbite since I used ice and was an assassin. Once I got close to the bay, I summoned my ice and Sam let me go and I slid down the ice slide and landed on the bay before heading to my position.

"Frostbite, status." Maria called.

"I'm almost there." I yelled out and suddenly, shots rang out in front of me and I saw Hydra agents shooting at me. I took refuge behind the wall and grabbed my gun. Once the shots slowed, I quickly jumped out and shot them all in the head and they fell to the floor. One hit per person. Good to know I still had it. I then heard Cap say that Alpha was locked.

"Eight minutes, Cap." Maria said.

"Working on it." Steve replied.

I reached the device and placed the chip into the machine and it activated. "Bravo's locked." I answered. I then rushed out to the exit of my Hellicarrier and said, "Sam, can I get a lift?"

"On my way." Sam replied. I eventually watched Sam come my way and I got a running start and jumped. Sam caught me and lifted me back to the Hellicarrier.

"Hey, Sam, I'm gonna need a ride." Steve said.

"Roger! Let me know when you're ready." Sam replied.

"I just did!" Steve yelled.

"Tara, I'm letting you go!" Sam said to me. I nodded and he let me go. I summoned my ice and slid down to the helicarrier. I landed on the platform and shot the Hydra agents that shot at me. I then froze as I saw Bucky begin shooting at the SHIELD pilots. I rushed over as Bucky got into a jet and began taking off. I quickly rushed forward and shot my ice to grip the tail of the jet and I was lifted off the ground. Boy, I hated dangling. I created a foot hold to keep me from falling.

I knew where Bucky was heading and I was gonna be there to help Steve and maybe stop Bucky if I could. We managed to beat Captain to the helicarrier and I followed him quietly. We arrived at an entrance and I heard Sam and Steve arrive. Bucky popped up and pushed Steve off the edge. I quickly went into action. I ran to the entrance and summoned my ice and managed to catch Steve at the last moment before I watched Sam fall past me.

"SAM!" I yelled out. I went to summon more ice but I was suddenly pulled up and Bucky's hand went around my throat and slammed me into the wall. My head ended up hitting the wall and I slid to the floor and I blacked out...

I was in the kitchen making lunch when I heard the door open and close. I turned and smiled as Bucky walked in with a bag and placed it on the counter. "Welcome back, Bucky." I said while wrapping my arms around him. He smiled and leaned down and kissed me lovingly. I kissed back happily. "I love you, Bucky."

"I love you too." Bucky replied back as he pressed his forehead against mine as I placed my hands on his cheeks and closed my eyes. This was complete heaven.

I then felt someone yelling my name. I squinted and opened my eyes, my vision blurry. I groaned and I heard over the com, "Tara, answer me dammit!" It was Sam yelling. I managed to hit the com and groggily said, "What did I say about cussing at me?"

"It's about time you answered. I was worried. What the hell happened?" Sam asked.

"Tried to catch you and Steve and Bucky slammed me against the wall. I hit my head and blacked out."

"Wait, you're telling me that Bucky just left you there? Didn't even kill you?" Sam asked confused.

"No, he killed me. You're talking to a ghost." I said with sarcasm but with a little bit of humor. Sam just groaned over the com. "Where's Cap?" I asked.

"He should be close to inserting that chip. I wouldn't be surprised if he was fighting Barnes." Sam explained. I stood up and began heading towards the fighting. "Tara, you better not be doing what I think you're doing."

"I'm not letting Steve do this alone." I said with finality.

"Dammit, just be careful." Sam replied. I continued on ahead, hoping I got there in time.
