(A/N: Uh, it contains a bit of torture and an interruption by the writer. Sorry)
By the time they were reaching the Dead's End, it was dawn as Kai, Jay and Zane were sleeping in the cage that was attached to the Dieselnaught, except for Trudogolik, as Daddy No Legs turned to them. "Hey, wakey, wakey, Ninja." He said. "Welcome back to the Dead's End." He soon chuckles as they wake up, groaning from the bad way that they slept.
At the Dead's End, when the Dieselnaught enters with the Wind Dragon being dragged from behind, some young children were running up to it while laughing, and surround it once the Dieselnaught stops and the cage is lowered as Cole, Gewuji and Dragon came up to it. "We've got this." Gewuji said to Daddy No Legs and Muzzle.
"If we can't shoot straight, may as well make ourselves useful." Cole said. Muzzle soon mumbles some gibberish and walks away as Daddy No Legs soon followed him.
"Tell me you have a plan." Kai said to Cole, Gewuji and Dragon.
"Well, it's in the early stages."
"He doesn't have a plan." Dragon simply told them, causing Cole to glare at him.
They all soon look at Iron Baron as he comes up to the Wind Dragon. "Tonight, we feast!" He called out, causing all the Dragon Hunters and the children to cheer while Slab looked away, feeling sympathy for its fellow dragon before Iron Baron turns to Cole, Gewuji and Dragon. "Dangerbuff, get those slaves to work! We need our feast prepared at once!"
"Uh, we'll get right on it!" Gewuji replied as Daddy No Legs hands her the keys. "Well, you'll have to think of something fast."
Once they were let out, some Dragon Hunters soon chain their legs, and move them forward, but Daddy No Legs stops Trudogolik. "Not you." He said. "Dung duty."
"I'll get right on it." Trudogolik replied as he turned left, and Wipedovith follows him as Gewuji watches them.
"Dangerbuff, get a move on!"
She quickly turned back. "Uh, of course." She replied as she, Cole and Dragon move to catch up with the others.
Their work for the day was carrying over some wood over for a bonfire to cook the Wind Dragon. They were now at it for a few hours, without being given any water at all. As Jay moves along the camp, carrying some wood, while in between Nevezeniye and another hunter, coming up to the wood pile, a cart, full of dung, suddenly comes down at them, knocking Jay down and spilling all the wood everywhere. "Oh, no!" The other Dragon Hunter yelled.
"He's spilt the wood all over the ground!" Nevezeniye yelled.
"Get him up!" Wipedovith yelled, coming up to them with his whip, unfolding it to let it drag along the ground with everyone turning to watch the event. "Ten lashes to the back will teach you a lesson!" The two escorting hunters unbuckle the top of Jay's gi and let it fall onto the ground, along with the armour, exposing his back, as he was soon chained between some posts, and has a big rolled up piece of cloth shoved into his mouth like a gag.
Wipedovith pushes Nevezeniye aside raise his whip, only for Trudogolik to run over to him. "Stop!" He yelled, grabbing hold of his wrist before he could whip Jay.
Everyone soon turned to the whole scene as some of the hunters, including Heavy Metal, aim their rifles at Trudogolik. "Standing up to your fellow Elemental Master, Trudogolik? You'll share the punishment!"
"I'll take it all. It was my fault. I didn't know that I knocked the cart of dragon turd into him until it was too late."
"Well, well, well." Iron Baron said, coming up to them, passing by Kai and Zane, who were held back by Cole, Gewuji and Dragon. "Looks like a problem has came along. What would prompt such an act of charity from you, Trudogolik?"
"It was all my fault, Iron Baron." Trudogolik lets go of Wipedovith, and backs away, apologetic. "I will take the full punishment without protest."
Iron Baron then turned to Jay, who he tried to face them, but was unable to due to the restraints. "I do not blame you, but I blame him because he was handling the wood. You don't get a single bit of Wind Dragon tonight. Another empty stomach is a more fitting punishment for you instead of this." He then turned to Wipedovith and takes his whip. "What is the punishment for the Lightning Master?"
"Ten lashes to the back, Iron Baron." Wipedovith said.
"Something's going wrong." He exhales a little before turning to Trudogolik and holds out the whip to him. "Let's see how it feels to whip one of your new friends, slave. Whip him." Trudogolik was soon shocked at what he was being told to do, and shook his head. "You don't get away until you whip him. Either by your hands, or Wipedovith's, and suffer another row of lashing. You must whip him into shape."
"No." Trudogolik said.
"Give the past a slip. Whip him, boy."
"No."
"Wipedovith-" Iron Baron was about to hand the whip back to Wipedovith, but Trudogolik grabs it at the last minute.
"No!" Iron Baron moves aside as Heavy Metal holds up his rifle at Trudogolik's back. "Is that really necessary?"
"Only if you try to use it on someone else other than the Master of Lightning, Trudogolik. Now get on with it. This will teach the others too. Whip him good." Trudogolik sighed as he came at a distance from Jay's back before turning to the others. Only Gewuji shook her head, in an attempt to make him stop.
"I'm sorry." Trudogolik mouthed before turning back to Jay. (A/N: The writer suddenly shows up with a red cone. "Like the hat to go with it?" He asked, holding it out to Trudogolik. He then noticed everyone glaring at him for interrupting the scene. "Sorry." He quickly took off, taking the hat with him) "It'll sting, Jay, but, you'll never give into pain." Taking in a deep breath and exhaling, Trudogolik moved the whip back, and swung it. The strike hits Jay, who screamed from the sting of the whip hitting his back and leaving a lash mark, but the scream was muffled by the gag. Trudogolik then moved the whip to his left shoulder and swung again, hitting Jay's back the second time. He raises it high and swung again, hitting Jay's back for the third time. He then went for the fourth time by raising the whip, then to the right, then to the left.
"Yes, crack that whip! Whip him good!"
By the seventh lash, the gag in Jay's mouth fell out. "How many has that been?" He asked himself before Trudogolik then moved the whip from left to right upward, striking him again and making him yell in pain.
4 Years Earlier
Outside Ed & Edna's Scrap 'n' Junk, Jay, in a blue jumpsuit, runs out through the entrance. "Jay, honey, be back by supper!" Edna called out.
"I will, mom!" He replied as he ran.
"And no crazy stunts, okay?"
"I won't, mom!" (A/N: Whip crack sound)
Several minutes later, after crashing through a billboard and meeting an old man, Jay throws his broken set of wings into a nearby dumpster. "What a piece of useless, broken junk!" He soon sighed as he placed his back by the wall before turning to someone. "It's impossible."
"Is it?" The person asked. It turned out to be an older Dragon, who sips his tea. "Or are we only confined by the walls we build ourselves?" He gets out an origami of a bird before letting it go, and it suddenly flies away, as if it were a real bird.
"Just who are you, anyway?"
"A dreamer, like you. Attempting to build the impossible. Sure you won't change your mind about my offer?"
Jay soon smiled. "No, I want to." He soon slams the dumpster lid down. (A/N: Whip crack sound)
Present
Jay soon hissed as the 10th lash had struck him. "Give him one more for good measure." Iron Baron said.
Trudogolik raised the whip high and swung it, striking Jay's back before Nevezeniye and the other hunter unlocked the chains from the post, and throw him down onto the ground with the eleven whip marks on his back, slowly bleeding. "You had it easy, boy!" Wipedovith yelled out to Jay before spitting on him as he took his whip back from Trudogolik, and pushes him down.
"Put him by that hut, Dangerbuff!" Daddy No Legs called out.
Trudogolik just sat where he was as he saw Cole and Dragon come up to Jay, pretending to force him up while secretly bandaging him up and picking up his gear, while Kai, Zane and Gewuji came up to him. "How dare he made you do that to Jay." Kai said as Gewuji helped Trudogolik up, pretending to force him up.
"Wipedovith would've been worse." He replied as he turned around and lifts his ragged shirt up, showing more whip scars on his back before turning around to show more on his chest, shocking Gewuji even more than the others. "It's not just the back and chest." He rolls his sleeves up, showing more whip scars before pulling his ragged pant legs up, showing more whip scars. He then raised his beard up as best as he could to show even more whip scars on his neck. "I tried taking the blame, but, you know how Iron Baron is with persuasion. Thankfully, with my strength, it was only firmly."
"You didn't want more scars, did you?" Zane asked.
"No."
"Don't worry, you won't get that kind of punishment in Ninjago for anything that small." Kai said.
"Hey, Dangerbuff, go meet up with the other Dangerbuff, and watch over the prisoners!" Daddy No Legs called out. Gewuji nods, and forces the three toward the others.
As Cole and Dragon were putting his shirt and armour back on, Jay listens to a nearby radio as Muzzle was by it. "Believe in The Green Light, because The Green Light never quits!" Lloyd's voice was on it. "Believe in The Green Light, because The Green Light never quits!" It was on a loop.
"Fix your radio, Muzzle." Daddy No Legs comes up to him as the loop continues. "That's driving me crazy!" Muzzle soon turned it off and mumbles some gibberish.
"Guys, I heard Lloyd." He whispered to them. "'Believe in The Green Light, because The Green Light never quits.' It never quits."
"Who's Lloyd?" Trudogolik asked.
"He's a friend of ours from Ninjago." Cole replied.
"Looks like we lost Jay again." Kai said. "Must've been from those lashes."
"No, no, no, I'm not crazy." Jay replied. "I really heard him. On the radio."
"If that's true, let's hope we get out of here." Zane said as they all look at the Wind Dragon.
"With this place swarming with hunters, breaking you out is gonna be impossible." Cole replied.
"If only Firstbourne paid Iron Baron a visit, we'd have a distraction.
"Wait, what did you just say?" Jay asked.
"Did I mispronounce the name? The mother of all dragons you spoke of. It sounds like there's a lot of history between her and Iron Baron."
This got Jay to think. "'We're only confined by the walls we build ourselves.'" He remembers Dragon's words from the day he was recruited before grinning. "Build the impossible."
"Yep, sounds crazy." Dragon said.
"Those were your words!"
"What are you getting at?" Trudogolik asked.
"Okay, if we can't wait for the mother of all dragons, we build it."
This got Kai to groan. "Now I know you've lost it." He said.
"Jay might be onto something." Zane replied. "If we could trick Iron Baron into thinking he's under attack..."
"Then we could have the distraction to break you out." Gewuji said.
"Hey, Dangerbuff!" Daddy No Legs called out. "Stop burning daylight, and get those slaves back to work!" He soon walks away.
"Uh, yeah, getting right on it." Cole replied before they soon force them up. "If you can design it, we can build it outside of camp. Then get it in the air by nightfall."
"Then it's a plan." Jay said. "We build the impossible."
(A/N: Could what Iron Baron had said to Trudogolik while he whipped Jay help out with what the anagram of Wipedovith's name is?)
