Chapter 6: The Meeting that Started it All

"This is the story of 5 warriors, born in prophecy of old…
An ageless King, declaring war against all of Earthland in spite and anger…
Feared by many, this False King had destroyed many of those who opposes him…
As those who can prepare to combat him, five were born to inherit their Magic…
As the fire rage in their heart, their courage as hard as the iron, the sky wind that blows their bravery together, the brightness they had in white, and the shadow that they are born to…
This is the tale of the one that will inherit the Magic, to finish the threat…"

We see a certain pink haired male lounging in the bar. On the table top was a blue cat, munching on salmons. Besides him is a blue haired bookworm avoiding the annoyance of her party members. On another is a red headed knight sitting on the opposite of the pink haired man, eating her precious strawberry cake. In front of them was a white-haired barmaid wiping some mugs with a smile.

On the other side, was a table with a tall white-haired man, a naked ravenette, and the two annoying teammates of the bookworm. They are also lounging and exchanging stories with one another.

"Hey Natsu!" another guild member of theirs approached the front of the bar with a grin. Looking up from the food he was shoving in his mouth, he looked curiously at to what is on the mind of the guild member of theirs.

"What is it Krov?" he asked after swallowing his food.

"I heard of rumors about a Salamander in the Port of Hargeon!" he grinned wider as he delivered the message. The people that heard the words of Krov and had different reactions. Some returned to their doings, while some looked interested (Natsu and Happy), while there are also concerned (Girls and Natsu).

"Salamander in Hargeon?" he tilted his head in questioning, as if contemplating something stupid…

Port of Hargeon, Year x784 of July 2

"How much for the key?"

That is the question made by a buxom blonde. She is wearing a white with blue stripes blouse that is sleeveless, with blue skirt, and long boots. On her belt is a whip and holder for her keys. Her eyes are blue, with long lashes, as her white skin is fair enough to consider her a model.

"That will be 20,000 jewels…" the shopkeeper said as he held onto the box with the Key.

Her mouth dropped wide open, with her eyes white in shocking fashion from the price of one Key… A silver one at that… She reached over her counter while opening a bit of her blouse showing more of her skin.

"How MUCH for the Silver Key?" she asked while putting one of her arms under her breast.

On the other side of the town, where the train station is located, Happy and a conductor is looking pitifully at the sight of the weakened, and very green Dragon Slayer.

"Is he really always like that?" the conductor sweat dropped, as Happy held a look of pure glee.

"Aye!"

"H-Happy… Sa-save m-m-mee…." Natsu pitifully croaked out as he lies on all four on the ground.

"Nope…" Happy deadpanned, as the train started to move slowly.

"Traitor!" Natsu, now on the window of the train cart, exclaimed comically as he slowly got smaller.

"Ah…" Happy started as he glanced and started to fly again.

Bx

On the bridge somewhere in Hargeon, the blonde is huffing away, as some people cowered at the comical anger she is giving off.

"2000 Jewels… Is that really the amount of my sex appeal?!" she huffed, as many looked credulous at her. Some even looked with flirtatious intent on their eyes but spared no time looking at them.

She slumped her shoulders while walking as she sighed softly. "Is there really nothing going to happen great this day?" she asked to skies, which was replied by the squealing of the girls passing through.

"Salamander-sama is here!"
"The famous fire wizard?!"
"Yes, and he is on the Fountain Square signing some autographs!"
"Kyaaa! I wanna see him!"

The blonde stopped and turned to the direction of the square.

"Salamander?" she thought out loud, as she decided to see the famous fire mage for herself.

On the other side…

"Why did you leave me on the death trap, Happy?" Natsu pitifully asked as he walked towards the Square, while Happy is floating besides him nonchalantly.

"Did I?" Happy asked back innocently, trying to look cute for his foster father… Almost worked though…

"You did…" he replied with a twitch as he decided to let it go, since all it was good.

Natsu had a bit of maturity to Happy. As her death had pulled him down a bit, he responded kindly as a figure for him. Being a bit of guardian to the feline, yet still holds a big friendship. Both as a companion and father figure, they had been an excellent partner for one another and almost always able to understand one another… Even being goofy at most times.

"Hey Natsu? Are you sure that this will be Igneel?" Happy asked in concern.

"Maybe… It just said Salamander, so it could be him or a REAL Salamander…" Natsu replied as he stroked his non-existent beard on his chin. "Weird though…"

"What is it?" Happy asked once again.

"There is no screaming or shouting, or better yet running…" Natsu pointed out.

As Happy looked around them, he was surprise that this was true, since the road they are taking is pretty much vacant. There are few people, mostly males, other than the buildings surrounding them.

Soon, they heard the various shouts of the people, mostly females, about Salamander… Sama? Natsu was sure he heard that they called it Salamander-sama. He tilted his head first as he and Happy exchanged looks at one another.

"Well…" he started before he had a big grin on his face.

"Igneel here I come!" Natsu yelled out as Happy followed suit.

The blonde is now at the Square as she saw the number of fangirls surrounding the man. Weaving through about the swarm of fans she saw the supposed Salamander to be.

In the center is a man with short but spiky dark blue hair. His eyes are black, thin and narrow with his squarish face, prominent with the black tattoo on his forehead. His attire is an ornate design with a high collared cape. Under the cape is short sleeved white t-shirt outlined edges, with pinstriped pants.

He was signing a lot of autographs with a black pen, while waving at other. The blonde suddenly found herself suddenly blushing seeing him. Soon, Salamander turned and saw her as he gave a flashy smile and wave towards her.

'What is happening to me?' she thought out as she held the front of her blouse from the beating heart. 'My heart is beating so fast! Is this love at first sight?!' she tried to deduce, but failed so hard, as her senses is pelted with the strange sensation she is feeling towards the man.

"IGNEEL!" she heard the shout of a young man, as she was broken out of her trance. Looking around, she saw a man with red long-sleeved jacket and waistcoat with gold linings, with baggy white pants and scaly scarf around his neck. The most prominent feature was the pink hair that he sports, and the scarf that weirdly doesn't bother him this time of the season.

Both the Salamander, and the pink haired man looked at one another, as they both had confused looked on their faces.

"Who are you?" the pink haired man asked rudely. The fangirls all started to whisper to one another about him being rude, and not knowing who Salamander is. She then noticed a magic ring on the left finger of Salamander, as she recognized it instantly to be an illegal magic.

"Why, I am the one and only Salamander!" the blue haired man posed for the crowd, as he made a charming smile.

"Don't know you…" the pinkette turned around…
"AWAY ALREADY?!" as Salamnder soon bellowed out in shock.

"How dare you?!"
"How can you insult him like that?!"
"You don't have the rights to talk to him like that!"
"Why are you so rude?!"

The fangirls attacked the pinkette with words, scratches, kicks, and punches. Oddly enough, he didn't fight back and just tried to dodge or even block the attacks.

"Hey! Woah! Watch it! He- OW! Stop that!" he muttered in succession in every dodge, block, and hit.

"Ladies, please let us not be rude to our guest here." Salamander went towards the pinkette, as he signed a paper and tried to give it to him.

"Don't want it…" the pinkette deadpanned, as he got attacked this time much harsher.

"Be grateful in his presence!"
"You can never beat the likes of him!"
"Are you even a mage?!"
"You can never match his fire magic!"

The fangirls all said in the constant attacks.

"Now, now girls it is quite alright…" He once again soothed them as he gave a charming smile once again. "I regret to say that I have to go now, but not fret… For you are all invited to my private party later tonight at my boat…"

Pale red fire soon started to swirl around him, as the blonde recognized it as his magic. Salamander soon got lifted to the air, as the fire didn't even burn him.

"I will see you later tonight ladies…" he gave a last smile, before he flew to who knows where.

Soon the fangirls started to disperse, leaving her and the pinkette on the Square.

"Are you alright Natsu?" she heard a possibly child-like voice near the pinkette, and soon bulged her eyes out as she saw a blue cat to be talking.

"Yeah… That man is a creep though…" the man, identified to be Natsu started to stand and dust his clothes. The blonde decided this to be her time to take her gratitude to the pinkette.

"Yeah… I don't know about you, but I think he has other things hiding from us…" she approached the surprised, yet confused duo that both exchanged looks to one another.

"Hello! My name is Lucy!" she introduced herself to the two offering a hand

Upon her invitation, she soon found out that the two are looking for someone, and coincidentally might have been fooled by the rumors they are given. For Natsu, it might not have been whether or not it was real, but rather a whim and desire to see him again.

"So, what are you two going to do after this now?" Lucy asked the two as she mentally wailed at the loss of thousand jewels for giving Natsu a hefty amount of lunch. Right now, Natsu is devouring in a messy manner while Happy is munching on his 3rd fish.

"I don't know…" Natsu answered after swallowing, before looking back outside. "How about you Lucy?"

"To be honest, I kind of want to see more a bit of the sights here… After that I might go to the guild, I wanted to join…" she mussed before standing up and leaving the appropriate amount of jewels on the table.

"Thanks again for save earlier with the Charm Magic!" she said before going to the front of the restaurant.

"Wait!" Lucy heard the call of Natsu. When she turned, she saw him and Happy bowing to her.

"Thank you so much for the treat!" they both thanked her, before Natsu had a bright idea.

"Here! You can have this!" he grinned at her before showing the autograph of Salamander.

"No thank you!" she quickly exclaimed before bolting out of the door leaving the two in complete confusion thinking the same thing.

"She is weird…" Happy thought out loud as Natsu laughed along the notion.

Outside, Lucy strolled to a bench grabbing her issue of the Sorcerer Weekly. Opening to the contents, she searched through all of the present guild in the country. One by one, she regarded the notion of each until she came to her target page.

"Wow! Fairy Tail is on a rampage once again…" she laughed silently as she viewed more of the article about them.

"Oh wow! It's Mirajane Strauss!" she exclaimed seeing the former She-Devil. She is posing in the article in a two piece, as a model as she is. Her figure had been the same mostly except she had managed to get curvier a bit, and her breast grown some size.

In the next photo of hers, she is seen to be wearing a white sundress and a big white hat over her as the beach behind her has a wave that she is sure to be fake. She is smiling wide on her various poses sitting on the sands, eating an ice cream, and wearing a one-piece bikini showing her figures.

"Oohhh… Titania, Erza Scarlet…" she muttered as she saw the scarlet knight. In her article, she is looking stern with her usual Heart Kreuz armor. She is holding what it looks like a sword with wings in the center part before the blade and hilt.

"They look like nothing the article says them to be…" she said out loud as she remembered the past articles about the destruction and damages that they do.

"Now that I think about it… Salamander has been said to have destroy a couple of important landmarks…" she mussed out as she saw a slivering piece of box from the side of the article.

'For the first time ever… Salamander's first brief interview had been made…'

"Salamander has an article now?!" she exclaimed in surprise. It has been a reclusive notion for the Wizarding World about Salamander. Never he had been interviewed, despite many publishing houses trying to get him to.

Lucy saw the page where the interview was posted. She was about to open it to the page, but before she could, she was interrupted by Salamander.

"Why hello there missy…" Salamander greeted her with a wink and his smile. This time though, Lucy had managed to dodge the effect of the Charm Ring.

"Try all you want, but that Charm Ring of yours will not be affecting me this time!" she stood defiantly as she fingered her box that holds some keys, preparing for an escape if necessary.

"Come on dear. I know you want to enter Fairy Tail…" he smoothly talked over her. She crumbled in an instant from the words of his.

"Did you say Fairy Tail?" she exclaimed with stars, before snapping back in an instant. "Wha-? How do you know that?!"

"I saw you reading the article…" he smirked at her reaction. "If you want, I can help you get inside the guild…" he sauntered over her, as he lifted her chin up gazing into her blue eyes.

"What do I need to do Salamander-sama?!" she exclaimed in full stars, as Salamander had a malicious smirk on his face.

"Come by my boat later. And we will both set sail towards it…" he activated his magic once again, as he flew to the boat by the harbor.

"Wha-? Damnit! I got carried away again…" she sulked, before regaining her composure back up. "Ahh! Who cares about it? I'm gonna be a Fairy Tail Mage!"

Meanwhile, as the sun is slowly starting to descend into the night, Natsu is walking around while holding Happy to his chest.

"Where do you think she is Happy?" he asked his companion.

"I'm not sure Natsu… She could be anywhere." Happy answered back as he tilted his head up looking at his foster father.

"Hmm… She might have gone ahead and leave…" Natsu thought out. He decided then to start heading back to the station, before he heard the squeals of fangirls by the bridge.

"Did you hear? Salamander-sama is hosting a private party in his ship!"
"I heard that he is a Fairy Tail mage!"
"THE Fairy Tail?!"
"Yup! And he is hosting one on his boat!"

The girls started to cram away instantly as they squealed once again, saying they need to prepare and dress up. They didn't notice the shadowed look from Natsu, as he gazed in the Harbor.

"Fairy Tail… huh?" he slowly said. If anyone would have heard that, they could hear the growls he emitted. Happy was not afraid, but rather he is mirroring Natsu's expression.

Looking at the Pier, he gazed out the sole boat that is floating that time there. He assumed it to be the boat of the Salamander. With a determined look, he walked towards the Pier to deliver his own personal justice.

"Ah, dear Lucy. It is a pleasure for you to join us today…" Salamander greeted the blonde, holding two glass with wine.

"It is a pleasure also to be here Salamander." She replied in kind before grabbing the glass from his hand.

"My, what a beautiful dress you have worn today, dear…" said by him as he gazed her figure and dress. She is wearing a single sleeved red dress that has it's slit on the left going to the ankles of her feet, while wearing a high heel. Her hair is tied in a neat bun, as her bangs framed her face perfectly.

"Aw, you are flattering me much." She blushed at the compliment given, before taking more sips of the wine.

"Please enjoy more of the drinks as I attend more to the others." he said before giving out a smirk out of her sight.

Lucy just did that, taking some of the non-alcoholic drinks and pastries. She had to wonder how did he managed to get such luxury for just being a mage. Soon, she saw the man in question in the middle holding a glass and knife as he called their attention to the center.

"Everyone, I must thank you all for coming tonight for this wonderful party."

The fangirls all squealed in delight, most soon on the verge of fainting if not for the desire of them to continue on.

"However, there is one thing that I must do before we depart…" he continued on, before flashing a grin of malice. On the snap of his finger, many of the females had been captured by various crew members of the ship.

Lucy was surprised when she saw them being held in ropes and gagged with some handkerchief. She noticed that she is surrounded then by various henchmen's, as she cursed under breath for being distracted. Salamander then soon stood in front of her.

"What are you doing?!" she screamed out towards him standing a few feet away.

"Why, I just want to take you all and send you various people that will require your services." He said lustfully. Lucy then had her eyes opened wide when she realized what these people really are.

"You are Slave Trader?!" she exclaimed out as she whipped out her keys from her thighs, holding the center ring.

"Open, Gate o-" is all she could say, before Salamander took her keys with his fire.

"Oh no, you don't!" he grabbed her hands up high of her head, as she pinned in between him and a post of the boat.

"What do you really want?!" she sneered out at him, as she had a second guess as to what he is doing. She noticed the henchmen only took the others, but not her.

"Say, you are a pretty lady… But obviously you will be better serving me as a Slave in this ship." He whispered to her ears. This is all that she needed, she started to flail in minimal effort.

"Let me go! Give me back my Keys!" Lucy shouted at him, trying to get out of his grasps.

"This Keys?" he dangled it in front of her, as he smirked once again before throwing it out of the boat.

"NO!" Lucy screamed in horror. She has no weapon, no spirit, and has no chance of escaping nor fighting back now.

"You're a Monster!" she exclaimed once again, before she is roughly thrown in the middle once again.

"Ha! I will make sure you will be serving me beautifully, little precious." He spatted out, as many of the henchmen started to converge towards her.

Before they could get closer though, the roof of the boat suddenly collapsed. From the hole, came down a pink haired man with a scarf on his neck.

"Natsu!" Lucy exclaimed in surprise as to what he is doing there.

"Huh? What are you doing here Lucy?" she heard Happy call from above… seeing him with white wings… Is that even a wing?

"You can fly?!" she exclaimed.

"Well, well… I most certainly didn't expect to see you here boy…" Salamander sneered at the intruder. Lucy saw him unmoving, and began to question as to why.

"Are you alright Natsu?" she called out to him… Only to see him succumb to the floor very green. "What a lame entrance!" she comically yelled, with some of the henchmen agreeing with her.

"Alright, up you go!" Happy soon lifted her to the air with his tail. Salamander soon got out of his stupor, and ordered for her to be taken back.

Many of the henchmen, even Salamander himself, started to attack with magic. Happy is doing his best to dodge, while Lucy just screamed in a fearful manner. Many of the attacks barely grazed them both, but with some manuevers, Happy managed to get out of their range.

"We have to get back there Happy!" she ordered the cat in the air, not noticing his huffed breathings.

"We can't…"
"Why not?!"

As soon as she said that, Happy's wings disappeared…

"My time is up…"

Both screamed as they have fallen in the water. Luckily for Lucy also, she saw her Keys in some corals. Making quick dive in the water, she took the keys in her hands and resurfaced once again seeing Happy floating besides her.

"Alright! My turn now!"

She grasped one of her keys, before a slew of magic started to pool to the on the tip of the Key. A small light of golden hue soon emanated from the tip, as if swirling in both outwards and inwards motion.

"Open, Gate of the Water Bearer!" she pooled the key into the water, and then made a small twisting motion, as if opening a door with a key.

"Aquarius!"

A spirit soon came out of the water with the chimes of the bell. Her appearance is of a mermaid, wearing a blue and yellow bikini on top of her breasts. A black wave like tattoo is located near her neck just below the collar bone. On her head is a bead forming around her long blue hair reaching her tail instead of her legs.

"Aquarius, turn the boat around back to the Pier!" she commanded her spirit. Aquarius only gave her a 'tch' that irritated the blonde.

"Did you just tch'ed me?!" she asked out, before the spirit glared at her summoner.

"Listen to me brat. The next time you drop my key, I will personally wash you out when you have a date." Aquarius exclaimed in anger; her eyes fierce in her stare to the blonde. Both Lucy and Happy could only nod to her words as Aquarius charges her attack.

From the urn that she brought; magic started to pool in it. Aquarius lifted the urn above her head, before she motioned it in a wave fashion. Tidal wave soon came out washing anything and everything in its tracks… Including her summoner.

The Port of Hargeon was startled when a ginormous tidal wave washed a boat onto the land, where bits of wood were scattered. Lucy and Happy, despite being washed out, landed finely near the boat, as Aquarius landed beside Lucy.

"Why did you washed us away too?!" the blonde inquired with a tick mark, as Aquarius look satisfied in her work… almost satisfied…

"Sorry… The boat got swept too."
"YOU WERE AIMING FOR ME?!" Lucy yelled from the answer of her spirit, before being frightened by her glare once more.

"Listen here brat! I'm going on a date with my boyfriend, so don't you dare call me sometime soon! I'm going on a date with my boyfriend." She said to the blonde.

"Don't rub it in!" Lucy retorted before her spirit vanished in a golden light. She turned around in time to see the people gathering the ladies that is captured. Apparently, the shackles were removed just in time for them to survive the wave. She then saw Natsu standing on top of the hull, as the henchmen of Salamander surrounds him.

"Natsu!" she started to stand and rush to her friend, when suddenly Happy elongated his wings, blocking her from the advance. "Happy?"

"Don't worry about him…" he said in seriousness, which surprised Lucy of all things.

"Hey… Are you a member of Fairy Tail?" Natsu growled out, as he stood crouching down in a very open position.

"So? What about it?! The council will make sure you rot in jail bastard!" Salamander sneered, as the henchmen started to attack Natsu.

All Natsu did, was dodge, punch, dodge, kick, dodge, and smash. In repeated succession, he repelled the first wave, before he glared at the Salamander.

"Come closer… Let me take a look at your face, bastard!" he cried out, as he ripped his right sleeve. This got him and Lucy surprised when they saw a red tattoo on his shoulder.

"Because I never saw your face in my guild before…" he whispered loudly, as if a demon stalking his prey… Well, a dragon as he is…

"Doesn't matter! For this face is the last you will see! Prominence Typhoon!" Salamander attacked as he whipped a vortex of fire from his palms straight to Natsu, where he just stood there glaring.

"Natsu!" Lucy cried out in worry, as he is engulfed in flames without slowing down in the destruction.

"Don't worry Lucy… This fire will not affect him!" Happy cheered. As soon as he said those words, all of the fire in the boat got suctioned into what it seems to be a vaccum… Towards Natsu…

"What the hell!" Lucy and Salamander cried in shock, seeing Natsu devour the flames.

"Are you really a fire mage? These flames suck!" Natsu punched his palm, as fire soon covered his fist readying for the match.

"Wait… I recognize this boy!" one of his henchmen exclaimed, as if he saw a ghost. "Pink hair… A scaled scarf… the Fire Mage of Fairy Tail Guild… Even if he is called 'THE Salamander', he is better known as the Guardian Dragon!"

"The Guardian Dragon?" Lucy whispered softly, as if a weird connection lighted up in her. "What is that Magic Happy?"

"Skin hard as a scale, lungs sturdy to breathe fire, sharp senses that is inhuman… These are some of the traits that his Magic is… A lost magic, said to defeat Dragons… Natsu is the…" A bunch of henchmen soon got blown off, as Natsu smashed the ground they are standing in a blur. Many are scattered, but Natsu had a fierce glare in his eyes, almost as if his eyes are a red dot. "Fire Dragon Slayer!"

"Bora, this kid is the real deal!"
"Idiot! Don't call me that!" the now identified Bora exclaimed.

"Bora?" Lucy questioned.

"Bora of Prominence. Former member of Titan Nose Guild, before he is expelled due to his questionable works." Happy glared to the other mage, as he explained the person in question.

"Let me show you punks about dealing with Fairy Tail Mage!" Natsu launched himself, as he brutalized some of the members by sending them on air.

"AND MY HAIR IS SALMON YOU BASTARD!" Natsu exclaimed to the lone person that called his hair pink.

"Red Carpet!" Bora exclaimed in fear, as he tried to escape, only for Natsu to appear in the air.

"Payback time! Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" with his left hand, engulfed in flames, he punched Bora by his cheeks. By the sheer impact alone, he passed through two buildings before he ended up in the bell of some random tower, ringing it as he slid down unconscious.

"Wow… He took down all of them by himself…" Lucy awed out as she saw the spectacle that Natsu Dragneel is.

"Aye! That is Natsu for yah!" Happy commented.

"But…" Lucy then turned around. "Isn't he going overboard with these!?" she questioned.

Many of the houses has a hole, and the ground is smashed to pebbles. Random fires are around the building, heck even a man is on fire by his hair dancing!

"Aye!"
"Don't 'aye' me!"

"Halt!" call from one of the approaching guards, as Lucy saw a battalion running towards them.

"Crap it's the Army!" Happy exclaimed.

"Shit! Come on!" Natsu ringed out, as he took Lucy by her hands and started to pull her.

"Wha-? Hey, where are we going?!" she questioned the pinkette.

"You wanted to join Fairy Tail right?" Natsu asked back, not sparing a glance.

"Huh?"

"You attended the party, because you wanted to join right?" he asked once again, looking at her confused expression. "Then come with us!"

Lucy looked back between his hands, the army, and his face. Soon, she felt her heart skip a beat when she saw his wide smile as if no care in the world. He is laughing in the face of the danger, as they are chased by the army. Suddenly, she felt as if it was fate that moved her to take his answer.

"Yeah! Let's go!" she agreed to his invitation, where they soon started to run towards the Station.

It was a nearly half a day trip back towards the guild using the Train Station services, which amused Lucy to say the least. She already knows that he was weak in transports as evident in the first sighting of it back at the boat, but seeing him all powerful beating Bora and his henchmen alone and then turn into a groaning mess is hilarious to her.

Happy had been an excellent companion to her for the mean time… Well, it would have been fine, but the damned cat was teasing her so much the whole trip. She just opted to tune out the two after half way through.

Dropping by Magnolia Station, Lucy was awed by the sight of the bustling city. She can't help but notice the big difference, where most town was full of buildings and establishments. It was separated by segments where the canals were connected to the lake behind the huge building that they are walking towards to. Natsu cannot help but smile at the awe-struck face of hers.

Soon, both of them stood in front of the guild doors. Above them is an arc where the symbol of the guild is present, along with the line of 'Fairy Tail'.

"Lucy!" Natsu called out, as he saw her nervous expression. "Welcome to Fairy Tail!" he exclaimed, while gesturing towards the huge door.

"Um… A-are you sure that I will be accepted here?" she nervously asked as she started to fiddle with her keys, a habit that struck her in times like these.

"Don't worry, Master will be sure to let you!" Happy cheered besides her, somewhat easing her racing heart much more than Natsu could. She was about to open the door, but was stopped by Happy. She then noticed Natsu had a weird glint in his eyes, and…

"WE'RE BACK HOME, EVERYONE!" he kicked the door off their hinges with the force he gave out, before exclaiming his arrival. Lucy only had a gapping shock from the action, and seeing an ongoing brawl inside.

"Hey Natsu! How is th-!" one of the members greeted back, but was soon punched by a fuming Dragon Slayer.

"You moron! That was not Igneel!" Natsu bellowed out as he joined the punched man in the brawl.

"What's this I hear? Natsu is back already? Great!" Lucy looked to one of the tables, and saw a man with white polo and black pants. His hair is spiky and black, as he held his hands in the pockets of his pants. "Time to settle this once and for all!"

"Shut up and make sure you have clothes on stripper!" Natsu bellowed from the brawl.

"What does that mean, flame-brain?!"

"Gray, your clothes!" a brunette wearing only a bikini top and capri pants. Her guild mark is shown in black in the left abdomen of hers.

"WHEN DID THAT HAPPEN?!" the now identified Gray shrieked before he scampered away looking for his discarded clothes… in which Lucy didn't know when he had the time to strip so fast.

"Ha… You guys are being so noisy…" the brunette muttered disappointingly before lifting, a barrel of beer?!

'HOW COULD SHE DRINK THAT SO MUCH!?' Lucy silently shrieked watching the brunette to drink that early that much.

"Let's settle this Natsu!" Gray bellowed out as he joined the brawl… still in his boxers.

"BRING IT ON, STRIPPER!" Natsu reassured before the two become the center of it all.

"What a bunch of childrens…" Lucy looked to her side and saw a towering man with white hair and dark blue polo and pants like a high schooler. She thought of him to be more mature, but was soon proven wrong.

"REAL MEN FIGHTS WITH THEIR FIST!" the tall man charged into the center of the fight.
"STAY OUT OF THIS ELFMAN!" Gray and Natsu both exclaimed and abruptly sent Elfman to with one punch knock-out.

"It sure is getting rowdier here now…" Lucy once again looked and saw a man with glasses, with orange hair and furred jacket and regular pants. He is seating with two more ladies, both of which is clinging to him, and another just around a bit the other one. Lucy already knows who the man is. Heck, she should know who it is…

"Are you going to join the fight, Loki-sama?" one of the skanks asked in a sultry voice as if inviting over.

"For you girls, I might…" he charmed the three, as they squealed over in his (un)sweetly tone.

"And that is another man out of the list…" Lucy crossed out the picture of the man in a magazine before she brought out of nowhere.

"My, are you a newcomer to the guild?" a sweet and angelic voice came from her front. Lucy then had her eyes widened when she realized who it was. Suddenly, her small swollen world turned upside down seeing the Barmaid of Fairy Tail.

"Y-You're… M-M-Mirajane Strauss!" Lucy exclaimed in glee. "My name is Lucy!" she introduced herself grasping the hands of the barmaid.

"Welcome to Fairy Tail Lucy!" Mira exclaimed. She is the same after the death of Lissana. Her attire now consisted of maroon dress reaching her ankle, strapped in a white v-neck trimming where a pink ribbon is tied at the center covering much of her cleavage, and another on her waist, a heeled sandal on her foot matches her attire, and lastly is a white and cream alternating flower band on her right wrist.

Lucy looked around them and saw the brawl seemingly more out of hand. Many people are blown away from the center, bottles and mugs are flying, and some of the bodies are littered down.

"Um… Shouldn't we stop this now?" she gestured around, while Mira remained smiling as if nothing is happening wrong.

"Don't worry. This happens all the time…" She gestured around her, looking fondly in secret at a certain pinkette in the middle. "And besides-!" she managed to croak out, before a stray bottle hit her on the side of her head.

"MIRAJANE-SAN!" Lucy screeched as she saw the small fountain of blood leaking on her forehead.

". . . Isn't it fun like this?" She cried out first, before finally fainting from the spurt of blood.

"HEY! WHO THROWN THAT BOTTLE AT MIRA!?" Natsu bellowed out from the dogpile he is in, as the participants all suddenly becomes fearful of the rejuvenated Dragon Slayer.

"RUN!"
"THE DRAGON IS UNLEASHED!"
"BRING THE SACRIFICE!"

These are some of the words Lucy caught while she wondered in awe seeing the burst of movements from Natsu. She was definite that there was a threading connection about the state Mira is in, and the sudden aggression Natsu had.

"Gah! So noisy!" the brunette angrily exclaimed before she held three cards and charged some magic.

"Time to end this!" the naked stripped declared too, as he smashed his fist to his palms leaking an icy mist of magic.

"Rahhh!" Elfman roaringly drawn his arm up high, as it transformed into a beastly arm all towards his shoulders.

"Things might get a little out of hand now…" Mira suddenly woke up, startling Lucy. Soon was followed with a slight shake as a looming figure appeared behind her.

"WHAT IS THE RUCKUS HERE YOU BRATS!? YOU TRYING TO DESTROY THE GUILD HALL AGAIN!?" the deep and resounding bellow stopped any noise in the area, as Lucy tried all her might just not to shit herself in front of what it looks to be a giant.

"HAHAHAHAH! You all chickened out! HAHAHAH-!" Natsu taunted, soon then stomped on by the giant. Lucy suddenly squeaked terrified of the action. But was soon terrified out of her wits so much, as the giant and his yellow eyes dotted towards her direction.

"Hmm… A new recruit?" the giant mused, as Lucy watched him shrink down slowly, and slowly, and slowly, as he was…

"I am the 3rd Master of the Fairy Tail Guild, Makarov Dreyar!" Makarov greeted Lucy in a height that she described as…

"He's so tiny!"

Makarov gave a hearty laugh, as he jumped to the bar first, before somersaulting away towards the 2nd floor. Only for his head to hit the railing, as he gave a plethora of curses and swearing under his breath.

"Listen up brats! You have done it again!" the master bellowed angrily at the crowd he had amassed. "The council had sent me another batch of complaints!"

"Gray!" pointing to the naked stripper, that is oddly wearing his polo back on. "After your last mission, you walked in the public naked and stole some people's clothes!"

"Elfman!" pointing to the tall and well-built man. "After escorting the noble you are contracted with, you attacked him after degrading your manliness!"

"Cana!" pointing to the tipsy brunette that is borderline ashamed or drunk. "Stop charging the council with the wine you kept drinking!"

Makarov gave a small sigh, before he opened his eyes once again. Lucy shivered a bit as she felt the strong presence of those eyes, as if boring straight into the soul of the unlucky person.

"Natsu…" Natsu made an unmanly squeak from the very front of the entrance… 'Is he trying to escape?!' Lucy thought, feeling the strength of the gaze, and seeing the Dragon Slayer tremble a bit.

"You made a lot of destruction in the past missions of yours…" Makarov muttered in a very sweet tone that is usually associated with the worst punishment he could thing off.

"Destroying the clock tower at Tuly Village, a historical landmark at that… Wiping out a quarter of the forest along with the church of Freesia… Damaging Lupinus Castle… Collapsing Nazuna Observatory… Destroying several houses in chasing the Devon Thief Culprits… And destroying half of the Port in Hargeon…" he growled out listing one of each the destruction he left in his wake… 'Wait…'

'He is the one the Sorcerer Weekly is refering to?!' she thought out suddenly as she instantly recognized each.

"To be fair Gramps, it was Lucy there that destroyed the Port…" Natsu dabbled on, suddenly scaring Lucy for her chances at entering the guild.

"DOESN'T MATTER!" Makarov bellowed out before he sighed again. "You children needs to tone down the destruction… But!" he set the papers in his hand ablaze, throwing it towards the hungry Dragon Slayer.

"To hell with the Council! Magic is born with us, a way of life and essence of our very existence! It is not for one of the miracles we are given! Cowering in the face of it from the council, hinders us only. If we continue to cowardice against them, then you will never improve! It is the miracle we are given, entrusted, and the connection with the nature! Do what is right and must! For we are…"

"FAIRY TAIL!" the guild cheered altogether, posing with one of their fingers high up, as the thumb sticks outward, the back of the palm facing away.

At this gesture, Lucy saw how strong the bond of everyone is. From the smiling faces she saw and the easy-going grin that everyone had. This is it…

'I really am in Fairy Tail…' she wiped a lone tear from her face, smiling with the new adventures she had…

"So, Lucy, where do you want it and what color?" Mira asked as she held the magic stamp in her hands.

"Color?" the blonde asked the barmaid, confused by her statement.

"You can choose the color of the guild mark you want. Sometimes, Master always says that if you have nothing in mind, then what is on your heart should decide on the color it represents." Mira giggled.

"Hmm…" Lucy hummed out, as she looked over before Natsu that is devouring 3 plates of food delivered by Mira before she approached her. Her eyes lingered a bit on his hair, sensing as if it was a great color.

"Pink, on the back of my right hand!" Lucy exclaimed.

Intrigued by her choice, Mira looked towards her point of attention. Seeing the longing look of hers, she couldn't help but frown a bit remembering the past. Lucy was another of those women that is influenced by the rambunctious Dragon Slayer, and she herself couldn't help but wish for her to do the right thing.

"Of course!" Mira cheerfully replied pushing down the bitterness that she had from the bottom of her heart. She pushed the stamp upon her back hand, as a flow of warmth covered Lucy as a low shimmering flashed below it.

Lucy can't help but give a low muttering of awe seeing the way of how guild marks are implanted. Raising her hand to her eye level, she gave a gaping smile.

"Thank you so much Mirajane-san!" Lucy said to the barmaid admiring her new mark.

"Just call me Mira, like everyone else!" Mira replied back.

"Thank you so much!" Lucy bowed before she trotted by the still eating Dragon Slayer and his feline companion.

"Natsu, look! Mira just gave me my guild mark!" she bragged over.

"Good for you Luigi!" Natsu flashed a smile, missing out the mistake he did?

"It's Lucy!" she exclaimed indignantly. Natsu and Happy laughed a bit before he stood up and walked over to the request board.

"Hmm… Still has no job for you Nab?" Natsu greeted a man wearing what looks like an indian mixed with tribal necklace clothing.

"Not yet Natsu…" Nab greeted back with a wave before going back to looking at the board once again.

Natsu and Happy looked over once, then twice, and thrice. After that, Natsu spotted an eerie looking request.

"Request to clear bandits near the West Woodsy… Sounds like my kind of mission!" Natsu exclaimed.

"Aye!" Happy cheered. They are about to return to Mira to punch the job, but cannot help but overheard the conversation from the board all the way to the front of the bar.

"Please! He should be back 2 days ago!" a young boy with dark purple hair wearing a blue-green shirt and blue pants no more than 6 years old.

"I told you like I said yesterday to you, he is a mage and can take care of himself…" Makarov argued back taking a swing of his beer.

"Why can't you send someone after him!?" the boy asked in rage tearing up in frustration.

"Your father is a proud mage of Fairy Tail! Go home Romeo!" Makarov repeated with a finality on his voice.

"I HATE YOU!" the boy lashed out, delivering a left hook to the jaw of the stunned master before he ran out of the guild.

"Isn't that a bit harsh master?" Reedus asked from the opposite side, watching the event to play out a bit.

"OI! DON'T BREAK THE BOARD NATSU!" the exclaim of the indecisive Nab caught the attention of nearly everyone in the room.

From his mug, Makarov had a miniscule width of clearness in his eyes from the reaction of the Dragon Slayer. His shadowed eyes and clenched fist gave him a victorious smirk as he drank his ale hidden from the eyes of the others.

"Oy oy, he will just hurt Macao's pride with his interference Master…" A man with pompadour hairstyle called out.

"Let him be Wakaba…" Makarov muttered in an even tone, glancing towards his fading figure in the background. "… We cannot dictate the actions of those who knew what the others are going through."

"Where is Natsu going?" Lucy asked from the table that Natsu previously occupied.

"He's going to find Macao." Mira answered the blonde wiping the table.

"Why exactly though?" Lucy piqued out, figuring the actions of her new friend.

"Perhaps… He is seeing himself in the perspective of Romeo-kun." A new comer took her seat besides the blonde. She is wearing a purple open tank top with yellow bikini-like bra beneath it, followed by a white pants and brown belt holding it.

"Hello! My name is Levy McGarden!" the bluenette introduced herself, presenting an offering of handshake.

"My name is Lucy! Nice to meet'cha." The blonde replied shaking the hand. "How do you know what is Natsu thinking Levy-san?"

"Levy is just fine. Well, to say it simply… Many of us has pasts that is only told once to some of the close confidants of ours." Levy answered cryptically, looking at Mira while she had her deep frown fiddling with the flowery band on her right wrists.

"Some, started it with their introductions…" Mira followed soon, refusing to look up.

"I don't follow…" Lucy muttered weakly confused.

"Natsu is one of the members of the guild that is not very open about his past… Perhaps it has to do with how he was greeted back before." Mira elaborated further.

"Natsu is raised by the Fire Dragon Igneel…" Levy added first, as Lucy had contorted into a shocked state.

"Natsu is really raised by a Dragon?!" she asked, trying to wrap her head around it.

"Hard to believe, right?" Levy chimed in instantly, as if knowing the reaction. "Natsu said he was found by him in the forest alone. He took him under his wings and taught him everything pretty much he knows right now, including the magic he uses…"

"Do you believe in the existence of Dragon, Lucy?" Mira asked in a forward tone.

"Hard to say they exist anymore really…" she answered with a hint of uncertainty. Levy and Mira both exchanged small glance before Mira started again.

"Is it a yes or a no?" she directed once again.

"Hmm… Perhaps a no…" she answered back a few seconds after. Both Levy and Mira gave a disappointed sigh, knowing the wrong answer.

"Well, I'm sure he will be alright…" Mira cheered out before she strutted away to answer some of the calls of the patrons.

"How could Mira be certain of it?" Lucy skeptically inquired, unconvinced.

"Natsu is Natsu, Lucy… He will come back with Macao…" Levy assured the worried blonde.

From there, Lucy had made strong friendship with the bluenette due to one thing… Books, and a lot of stories. Both had a lot of commonalities with one another, and a hidden attraction from the side of Lucy…

Levy offered for Lucy to live in the Fairy Hills during their talks, but respectfully declined due to the rent fee. They opted to search outside and got a much cheaper one by 30,000 Jewels. From there, the whole afternoon was spent with a lot of walking around the town and celebratory welcome to the house with furniture and eating. When the night rolls around, Lucy waved good bye to her new friend and directed herself to rest from the fatigue she built up…

A/N: Yow this is a very late update, I know. I may have to change it since the start of my Semester really hits me hard. As of now, I will take a 2 weeks break from writing, so there are no chapters for 2 weeks to allow me to adjust (Against my will) with the demands of my school. It is also for the rejuvination of the mind for me to continue working with what I have to do on this Fic.
Thank you all for the support, and hopefully I return with a great chapter for all of you!
