Disclaimer: I do NOT own Warriors, Erin Hunter does. Now on with the show~

Heeartseeker was just about to nudge her sister and try to convince her to leave when Yellowfang's words of Clan loyalty came back to her. Sure, she didn't have loyalty towards this Clan but she did have it towards her sister. And besides, that rotten Bluestar probably thought that she managed to scare Heartseeker and thought it a win against her. But Heartseeker wasn't afraid and she wasn't going to let some poor excuse of a half witted praere beat her!

With a snort, Heartseeker turned and using her nose, found a pile of freshly killed animals that she assumed was there to feed the whole Clan and snatched up a big squirrel. It would make a decent meal and after all, it was a largest specimen of the rodent Folk.

Heartseeker then took the rikchikchik and headed towards Yellowfang's den and without waiting to be let in, she went, to be face to face with Bluestar. The ThunderClan leader growled as she saw her and tried to stand, though this time, she managed to stay upright by both fore paws however Heartseeker could see that she was putting all of her weight on her strong leg. It wouldn't be hard to knock her down.

But she didn't come here for that, the demon tabby took a deep breath and placed the squirrel by Bluestar's side, moving away quick enough to avoid her bite. Heartseeker glared lightly at her and from the corner of her eye, she could see Yellowfang tense, but the younger demon simply shook her head. She wasn't going to attack Bluestar, she had to do this right! Yellowfang nodded and soon left the den, the two mollies were now alone.

Heartseeker then relaxed her shoulders and forced herself to remain calm while Bluestar stared at her with suspicion in her eyes before looking down to the rabbit she brought. She sniffed at it before laying down to swipe it away from her with her claws. She gave Heartseeker and mean look before hissing at her and lowering her head to her paws.

The demon looked at the squrriel then got up and went to retrieve it, before placing it back close to Bluestar. The ThunderClan leader glared at her and the squirrel before batting it away from her again. Heartseeker just went to get it and repeated this action two more times until Bluestar was panting and didn't move when the squirrel appeared before her again.

"I...will not eat anything that a wretched demon like you touched! You may have poisoned it!"

Heartseeker sighed softly, staying as relaxed as she could but noting with a secret grin that with Bluestar tired like this, she may be able to get through to this sun maddened fela.

"By that logic, you shouldn't eat anything expect what you catch yourself. If you hate demons so much that you won't eat the prey we catch, you shouldn't take from that pile of prey outside. With all the scents mingling, there's no way to tell who brought what."

Bluestar raised head in challenge and opened her mouth to speak but after a few seconds, she closed it and turned her head away. "They don't eat the prey that is already brought in...but they still hunt for the Clan..." Heartseeker heard Bluestar muttering to herself and had a feeling that her words were being considered. She grinned a little at this, maybe that deeper thought would make things easier.

"I have...eaten prey they caught before..." Bluestar muttered while Heartseeker calmly curled her tail around her paws. She said nothing, she wouldn't force Bluestar to make any decision. That would only ruin things.

The Clan leader took a deep breath and glared up at the demon, but the tabby didn't feel threatened, still she subtly readied herself in case Bluestar was going to swipe at her again. But there was no need.

"I've been lucky this whole time to have not been poisoned." Bluestar said quietly, looking at Heartseeker as much as she was able, which wasn't very long. The Clan leader then grinned, a mean, unnerving grin, but Heartseeker didn't flinch. She knew that Bluestar being accepting now was too fast and too easy.

"From now on, I will do my own hunting. I won't trust anything you give me! You tried to kill and eat me, I will never let my guard down with you!"

"So be it." Heartseeker muttered before taking the squirrel away from Bluestar and breiefly wondered what to do with it before settling to share it with her sister. "I'll leave you to rest. I'll be back later."

Bluestar snorted and curled up, turning her to her. "Don't rush back, demon."

Firepaw was laying alone when Heartseeker came to her, the younger molly smiled at her sister and purred as they nuzzled one another. She then noticed the squirrel and huffed softly, not looking very interested in it. It only took Heartseeker a few moments to realze what was happening before she offered Firepaw a gentle smile and a lick to her forehead. "Come on, let's go hunting."

Immediately Firepaw's eyes brightened and she was on her paws within seconds. As Heartseeker stood and started to head for the camp entrance, she noticed Firepaw suddenly hanging back. The tabby turned to her sister and tilted her head.

"What's wrong?"

Firepaw shook her head and starting looking around, as if searching for something. "I can't just leave, I have to let Darkstripe know. He might get worried if he can't find me."

Heartseeker sighed softly before turning to face her sister, "I'm sure Darkstripe will be okay. You're with me and I won't let anyone hurt you."

Firepaw tilted her head, giving one last look around the camp before she grinned and ran after her sister, her tail waving. "Okay! Let's go! We should bring back lots of prey though, so Darkstripe won't have to be disappointed."

Heartseeker only laughed, nipping at Firepaw's ear. "Fine, fine! We'll hunt for them after we fill our bellies!"

However, by the time the sun was going down, their luck wasn't dancing. Heartseeker sat on the tough pavement near where the Big Ones made their territory and hissed. "Skydancer's Tears, where did all the Folk who lived go? They couldn't have all just vanished!"

Firepaw was sniffing at a sprig of grass that held a stale scent of cat. Unfortunately, it the scent was so old, she couldn't tell if the cat scent was demon or not. She sat down with a sigh and looked over to her sister. "Maybe, they are just hiding until the moon comes out, maybe we will have better luck then."

Heartseeker gave her sister a certain look before nodding, realizing she had a point. "You're right and I have to remember that the Clan has demons that need feeding too."

"As well as the other Clans!" Firepaw added, padding up to her sister. Heartseeker grinned and nodded once more.

"Yes, them too."

"Maybe... we could try to crossing over WindClan's territory. There were...other cats there. If things get desperate we can try there."

"WindClan?" Heartseeker muttered, looking thoughtful. She didn't hear Firepaw's voice until she felt her sister nudging her. "Oh, sorry. I was just...thinking. Father...told me about WindClan once. He said he once travelled with one of their warriors."

"Father did?" Firepaw was staring up at Heartseeker now, her eyes full of longing and wonder. "Please, tell me about it, I miss Father so much and he never mentioned knowing any of the Clans to me!"

Heartseeker couldn't help but smile a little and nodded to the request. However she did take a step forward. "I'll tell you over our meal, a story always seems better when you have a meal to share."

Firepaw grinned and playfully pounced on her sister, biting at her ear and growling softly. Heartseeker, taken a bit off-guard, buckled under the added weight but quickly rolled on the ground and had her pinned gently soon after.

The younger fela blinked up at her and tried to nip at the tabby's chest, but Heartseeker wouldn't budge, grinning as she bit at Firepaw's shoulder, but being as careful as she could while doing so. The apprentice huffed and pushed her hind paws underneath her sister, heaving with all her might. She did managed to get Heartseeker off her, but it was only a just a tiny bit, still she was able to get ot her paws and readied herself for another pounce.

Yet before she could, an unfamiliar scent wafted towards them and Heartseeker turned her head, in time to see a fat white furred male cat not too far from them. The male stared at the two mollies for a few minutes before slowly turning then breaking into a run, his instincts screaming at him to not stop for anything.

The two sister looked at one another for a moment before Heartseeker grinned, fangs flashing as she extended her claws. "Let him run for a moment, sister. Let the fear set in, his meat will taste much better if he's running scared."

Firepaw said nothing, only crouching down to wait for Heartseeker's signal, her belly started to rumble as food would be close at hand. She narrowed her eyes, her claws scraping the hard ground.

"Now, let's go."

XxXx

The male puffed loudly as he rounded the corner, looking behind him to see if those two mollies were chasing him. Seeing no one, he slowed to a brisk trot that eventually slowed even further into a casual walk. Perhaps he had given them the slip, he could breath now. Letting out a sigh, the male thanked his good fortune. Maybe to be on the safe side, he should stay in his garden, safe with th Big Ones. It would be a bit boring but he valued his life more than what a little excitement could give.

The tom was just turning his head to see where he was going when he felt razor sharp claws digging into the side of his muzzle and sending him crashing to the ground. Pain and fear washed over him in waves and he shakily raised his head to see the two mollies standing in front of him, the bigger tabby had her paw raised with his blood soaking it.

The white furred tom stared at them, but as he did he noticed how strange their left eyes looked and for whatever reason, he couldn't turn away. He felt like he was falling in a deep pool but he was just aware enough to notice the younger one rushing up to him and jumping, landing on his back and clawing at his side and back.

The pain jolted the tom out of the haze and he tried to rise to his paws and shake her off, but it was no use. The small molly wouldn't let go. The tom felt fangs pricking at his neck and he tried harder to free himself but soon enough the older tabby rushed in, biting at his muzzle and using her weight to tilt him over on his back.

Even with the young one now squashed beneath him, his belly was still exposed and the tom tried fighting harder. He didn't know why these strange cats were attacking him but he sensed that they wouldn't stop at just hurting him. He had to get free!

Even as the tom's claws hit at Heartseeker's chest and legs, she barely felt it but soon enough it was getting to be annoying. She quickly opened her mouth wide and bit down savagely at the paw and part of his leg, leaving just a bloody stump behind before eating the severed limb right in front of the tom.

Pain and what the tom just witnessed convinced him that this had to be a dream, it had to be! None of this could be real! He then felt a scrambling on his back, Firepaw was clawing her way out from underneath him and was using any way she could to do so. As she did this, Heartseeker struck out with her paw, easily breaking the tom's remaining three legs and grinning as he howled in agony.

Firepaw had settled next to the tom, licking his bloody cheek, her entire expression filled happiness and enjoyment. When the wound stopped bleeding, she bit into the tom's face, heedless of his tears and broken cries to stop. Heartseeker purred before using her fangs to tear into the tom's belly, coating her muzzle in blood but she didn't seem to mind, in fact Heartseeker was smiling.

As Heartseeker started to eat the poor tom alive, tuning out his screams and soon enough Firepaw joined her. They ate the tom at their leisure and soon enough the massive pain and Firepaw eating his heart finally put the tom out of his misery. The two sisters didn't seem to notice or really they didn't care and they continued to enjoy their meal in peace.

Once they were done eating, Heartseeker and Firepaw laid close together, grooming the blood out of each other's fur and purring softly. Firepaw's eyes started to droop and Heartseeker pulled her sister closer, allowing her to fall asleep curled into her warm fur. Heartseeker's purrs became louder as Firepaw slept peacefully by her side. Everything was perfect in this moment and Heartseeker wanted to savor it for as long as she could. Just her and her beloved sister.
