Remembering the First Meet of Boy and Cowgirl
Aki and Cathyl are tending the small farming field in the large backyard checking the see the solid is looking good and the little plants they have been growing for over a month is looking well too.
"It looks like we'll be expecting some fresh tomatoes and grapes to be freshly picked in the forty days or so." Aki inspected how the crops are doing.
"Yes, not to mention the carrots and lettuces aren't looking so bad either." Cathyl reported.
"That means we'll have some fresh ingredients within the early summer." Aki excited, feeling like this is like they are back home on the farm.
"Just in time for fresh food to eat." Cathyl smiled.
Cathyl was reaching her hand out for water canteen to pour a little more water on the growing field, but her hand soon made contact with Aki's hand as he was also thinking of adding a little more water as well. The two realizes their physical contact making them gasp and their face blushing of sudden embarrassment as they quickly move their hands away and look away from each other as they can feel their hearts racing faster than before.
"(What's wrong with me. I usually don't mind being touch by Aki like before and yet…)" Cathyl thought blushed.
"(Cathyl and I have always been working together even touch each other never been a problem, that is until…)" Aki thought embarrassed.
(Flashback)
The imagine showed the night of the Full Moon where Aki is kissing Cathyl on the lips to have her take the sleeping pill in her mouth, and the Minotaur woman is shocked of the sudden action.
(Flashback End)
"(I still can't get over that kiss?!)" Cathyl and Aki mentally shouted in their heads.
"(It's been two weeks since then and that image still appeared in my head.)" Aki thought freaked out a little.
"(And every time I look at him, it feels like I want something more, but I don't want to scare him for that.)" Cathyl thought embarrassed.
"(And my heart won't shut up!)" They thought of the same thing again.
"Uh, hey Aki, why don't you go back inside. I can handle the rest on my own." Cathyl suggested.
"O-Okay, I was just thinking on doing the rest of my homework." Aki agreed and walked away.
"(Good, I needed an excuse to be alone for a while.)" Aki thought sighed in relief.

"Hello Cathyl, how are the little crops coming along?" Ayaka asked.
"They're doing great, they'll be fresh for the picking in the early summer." Cathyl reported.
"That's wonderful to hear, though I thought Akkun was gonna be here with you today?" Ayaka wondered where the cute boy is.
"Oh, he went back to his home to check on his homework." Cathyl informed, sounding a little stutter.
"I see, the boy is smart for being so small and cute, wouldn't you agree?" Ayaka asked.
"Wh-What are you talking about?! Aki and I are just friends, that kiss we did doesn't mean anything!" Cathyl freaked out as she waves her arms around a bit.
"Really? Because from the way Akkun sounds when he got you to sleep that he really cares for you a lot." Ayaka mentioned, remembering the smile Aki did that night.
"H-He really said all that?" Cathyl asked and Ayaka nod.
"You two are together as "thick as thieves" as the saying goes. Cherishing the special bond, you two have for each other." Ayaka believed.
"Yeah, well, we have been through a lot since I came to his home and all." Cathyl said scratching her cheek a little.
She remembers how embarrassing she was when the morning came after the Full Moon night of how she approached Aki and even the words she said to Ayaka about sharing him, Cathyl kept on apologizing to Aki for two whole days for what happened as Aki assured nothing bad happen. And for the past two weeks, the two would always feel awkward around each other whether it be hanging out at the Inn or somewhere else, it was something they need to work things out but are not sure how exactly.
"If you don't mind me asking, how did you and Akkun met?" Ayaka asked sitting on the step of the backdoor.
"How did we meet? Man, it's been a long time since our first meet though to me it feels like it was yesterday." Cathyl smiled.
The first meeting of Aki started to surface in her head like it always does whenever she thinks of that day, she got up for a moment looking up at the sky before walking to the wall of the Inn to lean her back on sitting next to the Inn Keeper young woman.
"I used to grow up on another farm near a mountain, everything is great there and everyone there worked really hard on getting our crops in despite the hard times we've been going through and barely catching up for our bills." Cathyl started her life story.
"Oh my, sounds like you had a tough time but continue to work hard. You really are a dedicated farm woman." Ayaka complimented.
"Well, being born in a long line of farmers can do that do ya and I was happy to live my life with my family until I came of age of my adulthood." Cathyl mentioned.
"When you turned 18?" Ayaka asked, wanting to make sure.
"Yep, you see around that time the farm was really in deep with the debt it was in and worry about losing part of the farm to pay the bills. We had the crops to pay for most of them, but it wasn't enough for the rest and few of the farmer Demihumans I know volunteered to be sold to other places for the payment." Cathyl explained.
"And I take it you went through that too." Ayaka guessed.
"To be honest, I've always been curious about what the rest of the world is like outside of the farm and guess you could say I used that as an excuse, but I didn't want to leave everyone behind and the home I grew up on." Cathyl remembered as she could feel little tears forming from her eyes.
"But as it turns out, my family knew about my dream to explore the country and they had me sold to another farm so I can at least more of Japan. They said that I will always be a part of the farm no matter where I go." Cathyl smiled as wipe away the tears that were about to come out.
"Your family are such caring people, reminds me of my family and how much are love each other no matter how far apart we are." Ayaka smiled and handed a tissue to Cathyl.
"Thanks." Cathyl accepted the tissue and blew on it a bit.
"Anyway, I arrived at the countryside town where the other farm I'd living in by bus and walked the rest of the way. That is where I met Aki along the way." Cathyl smiled looking up at the sky again.
(Five Years Ago)
Cathyl is seen walking through the path heading to the farm she was assigned to; she looks around seeing the place being a bit more lively than her old farm home and spotted a few buildings that are small shops.
"Wow, they even have a little gas station. Guess this town is expecting to have some tourist." Cathyl commented.
"Now let see here, the farm should be up ahead on this path." Cathyl looked at the map in her hand while carrying her large luggage and her signature axe.
"Please, stop it!" A boy cried out begging.
This got Cathyl's attention as she decided to head for the source of the sound before meeting up with the new farmer family, and she saw a small group of boys picking on a small boy kicking some dust of the ground at the small boy and push him a little hard.
"Is the stupid little girl going to cry?" One bully asked sarcastically with a smirk.
"Oh wait, do you need your make up to cover up the dirt on your face?" The second bully kicked the dirt on the small boy.
"Stop it, I'm not a girl. I'm a boy!" The small boy cried while using his arms to cover his face to not let dirt on his face.
"Then try to look like one, stupid girl Aki!" The third bully mocked as he shoves Aki down.
"Try blaming your parents for wanting a girl than a boy." The fourth bully insulted.
"Stop it, don't make fun of my family!" Aki yelled trying to fight back, but two of the bullies pushed him down.
"I know I shouldn't butt into other people's business, but I can't stand bullies." Cathyl clutched her hand with the axe tighter and looking angry too.
Cathyl decided to help the small boy named Aki by walking up to them and the sun happened to be in the right position for her shadow to be cast larger and covering over the bullies which got their attention.
"Hey, what gives?" The first bully confused and turn around, he became shocked upon seeing Cathyl as his friends are too becoming scared of seeing the tall woman holding the axe in her hand.
"You better leave that boy alone or else." Cathyl glared fiercely.
"WE'RE SORRY/RUN!" The bullies screamed in fear and ran away back to their mommies leaving Aki alone.
Aki was surprise to see the Demihuman woman having come to save him, but also scared at the same time seeing how scary she is right now.
"Hey, are you okay kid?" Cathyl asked holding out her hand to him.
"Y-Yeah, thank you very much." Aki thanked though intimidated of the tall monster girl.
"I hope you weren't hurt too badly, bullies like them really ticks me off whenever I see one." Cathyl stated glaring in the direction where the bullies ran away to.
"It's okay, I only got dirt on me." Aki assured.
"Well then, how about we get your home before your parents start worrying about you." Cathyl offered to take Aki home while still holding out her hand.
"Okay." Aki nodded and took her hand to get himself back up.
"By the way, are you new because I know most of the Demihumans here in the town." Aki asked curiously as he has never seen this monster woman before.
"Yeah, I just arrived here, and I'll be working at the farm of town from now on, I heard the Shina farm is a good place." Cathyl answered.
"Shina farm, that's my family's farm!" Aki revealed shock.
"Whoa, for real? What's your name, kid?" Cathyl asked.
"I'm Aki Shina!" Aki introduced himself.
"Wow, what a weird way to meet the new family I'll be working with. My name is Cathyl, and guess we'll be seeing each other a lot from now on." Cathyl smiled.
"Yep, and that means we're now friends, right?" Aki asked.
"Most definitely." Cathyl nodded.
Aki smile and laugh of joy as he jumps onto Cathyl hugging her on the wait as she laughs as well then, she places him on her shoulder before walking to where the Shiina farm is, Aki look at Cathyl's face seeing that she is now a scary woman he thought she was at first and now think she is a pretty Minotaur woman.
(Present)
"And from then no, Aki and I became close for the past five years. Always being together no matter what." Cathyl finished her story of how she met Aki.
"Wow, that is most thoughtful story I have ever heard." Ayaka complimented.
"Yeah, I helped Aki be a little more confident in himself and stand up to those who would call him a girl because of his looks." Cathyl nodded.
"The way you entered the scene to rescue Akkun was like you were a superhero." Ayaka commented.
"Aw, I wouldn't say that. I just didn't like how those boys were picking on Aki and I just wanted to help." Cathyl stated, being modest.
"And I bet meeting Aki was the best thing that ever happened you." Ayaka believed.
"Yeah, looking back on that day now, I feel like it was my destiny to help Aki with those bullies and we became friends then my feelings for him grows as well though I was worried he wouldn't feel the way for me because of our age difference." Cathyl said.
"Aren't you also worry about the difference of being different race to each other?" Ayaka asked.
"I don't think so, there are plenty of humans and Demihumans engaged to each other and marry along with having half-breed kids of their own." Cathyl pointed out.
"I know, I was just making sure you wouldn't feel like that." Ayaka giggled.
"Also, I believe I still need some time to think about it." Ayaka said as she stands up.
"Huh, think about what?" Cathyl puzzled.
"About sharing Akkun with you as lovers." Ayaka reminded her which causes Cathyl to blush like crazy as she remembered saying that during the Full Moon incident.
"H-Hold on now, I'm not sure if I was being serious about that!" Cathyl said stuttered, then Ayaka place a finger on her lips.
"To be honest, I never really thought about going out with a guy before as all I could think about was being the manager of this Inn I inherited from my grandmother. Not even wanting to get marry, but when you spoke to me about sharing Akkun has made my heart race, it was almost like I was being purpose or something." Ayaka explained how she felt that night as her cheeks blush a bit.
"But I know it's not something that can be rush, so you two are going to have to wait for my answer until I fully decide on joining your little harem." Ayaka winked at Cathyl before going back inside.
This left Cathyl blushing of the shock that Ayaka is actually going to think about it and wonder what would happen if she does accept the offer or not, but right now Cathyl has another thing to deal with like with the awkwardness between her and Aki. She knew that this can't last forever and knew that Aki is also thinking of the same thing, they wanted things to go back to the way they were before and perhaps make something new as well. And talking about the past has helped the tall Demihuman woman to believe that she can talk to Aki about it and hopefully end the awkward phase between them.
(With Aki)
Aki is seen laying on his bed while staring at the ceiling having some deep thoughts and had just finish his homework a few minutes ago, thinking about Cathyl and the day she came into his life.
"Thinking back then, it was almost like a superhero coming to my rescue." Aki smiled and reached out his hand toward the ceiling.
"And the first time I fell in love with her." Aki said.
"Guess the same can be said about me." Cathyl said as she walked in.
"Cathyl!" Aki surprised.
"Aki, I want you know that what I said back then… those feelings were real, and I think I started falling for you when we first met. Saving a little boy from some bullies." Cathyl said as she sits next to him.
"I remember that day. Making a new friend who just arrived in the town new to her." Aki smiled as he held her hand, this time they didn't flinch.
"Aki, I'm not sure what the future holds for us and if we're serious about… forming a relationship then I wouldn't mind as long as it's with you." Cathyl admitted with her cheeks blushing.
"To be honest, I always thought of being together with you for the longest time and I think we can take this one step at a time, to see how this will go." Aki suggested.
"Because for the longest time since we met… I love you." Aki confessed making Cathyl.
"Aki… I love you too." Cathyl lifted Aki up to her face and kiss him on the lips.
Aki was shock at first reminding him of their first kiss, and he sinks in kissing her back and wrapping his arms around her neck.
