Link held up his shield and thought back to what the Goron champion Daruk had taught him back on Divine Beast Vah Rudania. An orange sphere shielded the hero just before the missiles hit him. With an otherworldly BANG, the twelve colored pencils flew in all sorts of directions, each exploding mid air.
"Auurgh!" Colored Pencils groan angrily. "Everyone's a critic. I'll teach you not to mess with me. Behold, my Rainbow Roll!" He shut his lid, reloaded and opened it again, revealing a fresh new set of pencils. They suddenly began to glow as, one by one, the pencils floated upward and began spinning in a circle.
"Link?" Zelda said nervously, looking at her faithful guard. Link shifted position as the entire set of pencils exploded outward, rushing towards the hero. He ran forward, jumped on the first one and bounced off. The pencil exploded as the eleven rest arced upward to follow Link, who grabbed on the second. He shield parried the third and fourth and jumped off the second one, which collided with the sixth. Link dove towards the oversized pencil case as it cried, "NO! Don't come here! I can't stop my missiles!" Link bounced off of the open lid as the pencils smashed into it, exploding. Link landed on his feet as Colored Pencils lay, bent backwards, twitching.
"Reload, RELOAD!" It cried as Link jumped up and brought the Master Sword down on the pencil case, ending it's life. As Link pulled out the sacred blade, Colored Pencils began to glow. Link, Zelda and Olivia ran as the Legion of Stationery exploded. With it gone, the vandalism began to melt away, revealing a clean Gerudo Town.
"Link," Zelda said. "Well done." Link gave a silent nod as he sheathed his sword and put away his shield. A gerudo soldier walked over to the Princess and Link and said, "We thank you for the assist, your highness. Lady Riju will be fine."
"That is great to hear." Zelda replied. "We must return to Hyrule Castle and discuss this new threat." And just like that, The three heroes left for Hyrule Castle, and a trap.
A/N: I am taking a massive break now to work on other stories. I just feel like I'm more like rushing this instead of taking time and writing a good story. I'll be back, I promise
