Masters of the Elements
Chapter 3 (Blossom's Variant): Three Cats, Three Mice
Blossom was flying up the high mountain. Having taken orders from Mojo felt weird to her; but it was also her who decided to take up Rocko, the earth Elementalist, in battle. She made it to the highest point; where Rocko had already turned it into a fit fighting arena. Rocko was sitting on a pedestal; meditating. She didn't want to interrupt, for she was not feeling like fighting until he recognizes her presence. So she started meditating as well; usually, for Blossom, meditation was a form of calming her nerves, and/or connecting to her powers better. Rocko, from the pedestal he was standing at, jumped up, and kicked towards Blossom. Blossom was more than prepared however; as she perfectly dodged Rocko's descent. "Finally decided to show up huh? I've been expecting you..." The armless Elementalist spoke.
"Being the savior of Townsville is a role I'm willing to play. All villains need to learn who they're dealing with once they set foot in this city." Blossom explained; tying her scarf onto a lantern. "It's been a while since I fought without that thing; c'mon, you and me." Blossom challenged.
"I'm sure you'll find that I'm more than willing." Rocko told her. "May the best warrior win."
*Blossom! V.S. Rocko!*
"It wouldn't be fair to not allow you to strike first. So go on; I insist." Blossom told him.
"It's your funeral." Rocko simply said. He then stomped the ground; and multiple rocks shot upwards, acting as platforms. "I like my arena's how a toad's skin feels; bumpy." He explained.
"Well then, on a bumpy arena we shall fight." Blossom said. Rocko then jumped down towards the base of the platform Blossom was standing on, and kicked it with all his might. The rocky platform started collapsing, but Blossom started flying as it happened. Rocko then used his magic power and gathered about twenty spherical rocks; then fired them off at Blossom; as they spun through the air, she dodged each one successfully. She then used her ice breath and froze the floor of the arena. Then she did the most cryptic thing ever; she blew her ice breath upwards towards the sky, and after doing this for about ten seconds, it started snowing! "Huh. You learn something new everyday." With the heavy snowfall obscuring most of Rocko's view, Blossom was able to get a few sneak attacks in. Rocko couldn't handle the feel of the icy terrain, and slipped up more than he usually did.
"I can't handle this ice!" He then jumped up and down furiously; breaking the ice on the ground. And also making the ground completely uneven. "You thought you stopped me stone-cold huh? Now it's time for me to rock your world!" Rocko yelled to his enemy.
"Wishing you luck on that then Rocky." Blossom then flew up into the snowy clouds and tested out a new power she's been working on (she calls it snowgirl). Blossom gathered ice around her and built an entire ice ball around herself. She punched off the sides of the ball, and they landed onto the ground below; not shattering, but forming into frozen clones of Blossom. She then crashed down and unleashed a shockwave with the ice ball she was encased in. The ball broke open, and she ordered her clones to gain the attention of Rocko. They nodded and skated towards him; doing professional figure skater motions around him. "Can't concentrate on more than one target Rocky?" Blossom taunted; followed by a: "Had enough?"
"Of you!" Rocko yelled out. He then drilled into the earth; the frozen Blossoms looked down at the hole he created. One looked at the other as it shrugged in return. A deep rumbling was felt; and a giant mole lunged its upper half out of the ground! It slashed its claws at the frozen clones; destroying them instantly. The mole was completely made of solid rock; even its whiskers (in the shape of a frizzy mustache) were solid rock. Its claws were stained with gravel and sand. This was Rocko's spirit beast: the 'Mountainous Mole'.
"Oh dear..." Blossom said out loud. The mole said nothing, but proceeded to burrow underneath the broken earth; its tail going down last. "I need to find a way to stop it... but what could I possibly do!?" *Insert dinging sound* "What could 'ice' possibly do?" Blossom asked herself; her cheeky grin returning. "When that mole is near the surface; I'll just listen to find out where it'll pop up, and ice that area! His claws aren't strong enough!" She then proceeded to keep her 'feet' on the ground; and wait for any sudden vibrations. After five seconds she felt one; and flew over to that area to ice it. The area was covered; but will her plan work? A noise that sounded like a bucket to the head played; confirming it. The Mountainous Mole's claws were strong enough to dig through rocks and all that; but ice must be high up on their hate list (if claws had a hate list). She then heard the sound of a transformation process ending. "Strange." She said as Rocko left the earth. "That was way too simple; even for someone of your strength."
"I never had to use that form once in my entire life as an Elementalist. You've really done me a solid in bringing it out for me; but we still have yet to finish our battle it seems." Rocko thanked then reminded Blossom.
"Right yeah... we do. But before we go on..." Blossom then flew back a few feet and started gathering energy. "I hope Light Blossom is still possible here." She drew in light energy from around her, and a light aura appeared around her, in the form of her. The light aura started gaining size, and eventually... Light Blossom returned! "It's been a while... but I bet I still got it!" Light Blossom said. She then jumped up into the air, and crashed back down to earth. *Slow motion* Her stomp was strong, it created a small quake. That quake eventually broke the earth open. She then smashed the ground, and light beams erupted from the cracks; homing on to Rocko.
"Is it too late to ask for forgiveness!?" Rocko yelled out. Yes, yes it was; and as I'm saying that, the light beams made contact; and blew up Rocko.
Light Blossom's form then faded; leaving only Blossom. "That seriously felt invigorating. Like I just woke up. Hey... where's Rocko?" Blossom noticed the earth Elementalist was gone; and formed into a brown jewel. Blossom took the time into shattering it by stomping it. "Definitely down for the count. Mojo will probably be expecting me to return since I've won." Blossom reminded herself. "Still. I can't help but feel he was hiding something." She tried brushing it off as she flew back to Mojo's volcano top observatory.

*Cut to Apoco; who is watching a shortened playback of what just happened*
"Ugh... this is why I prefer to handle all our problems solo..." Apoco said; looking mildly annoyed. "Although... it's not much to worry about. Hydris and Burntha are still up and causing destruction; they'll surely have trouble with them."

*Cut to Apoco; who is watching a shortened playback of what just happened*
"The second one is down already!? Wretched Blossom... I'm honestly surprised by her resilience..." Apoco said with a sneer. "Hm... there's definitely a spot on the team for someone like that... *small chuckle* better ready yourself Blossom; you're in trouble now."

*Cut to Apoco; who is swatting angrily at the vision he saw of Blossom defeating Rocko*
"Gaah! That was the last of those three!" Apoco's feet snakes hissed angrily. He spread out his wings and flew down to an empty field. "They won't live long though; because now, it's me they're after... and they won't like me; no they won't!" He then transported back to his hideaway.
