The next day arrived. It was a bright sunny Sunday. Sasuke had some errands so he carried theme out before his impromptu date. Can it be called a 'date'? Sasuke wasn't sure about it but he hoped so. He tried to imagine what his date looked like. Will she be as beautiful as her voice? What is her eye colour? What is her hair colour? Sasuke was distracted the whole day on the prospect of meeting his 'date' and had to be interrupted by Naruto numerous times.

At 4 pm, Sasuke realized that he had only an hour to get ready for his 'date' and he would be meeting Saki for the first time. He got ready and donned himself in his best clothes, a black button up shirt and jeans with his silver watch which Itachi gave him on starting his job. He descended down the stairs at 4.45 pm and found Sakura caling out for him.

"Yes Sakura-san. Do you need me?"

"Yeah. Can you come with me to the library?"

"Sure ma'am. I will just call my doctor."

"Don't worry, I will be done with my work in 20 minutes. The we can go see the doctor together."

Sasuke perked up at this and said quickly, "Sakura-san, that's not needed. He wouldn't mind if I go a little late."

"Where is his clinic?"

"Umm... its a little far."

"Oh. What's his name?"

"His name ummm.. actually I just call him doctor."

"Sasuke, has anyone told you that you are a bad liar?"

Sasuke felt embarrased and looked away from her so she continued, "So tell me the truth now."

"I am going to meet a girl."

"Ohhhh girlfrienddd." Sakura teased him a little.

"Oh no, not girlfriend...yet." Showing such emotions were very unbecoming for an Uchiha so he looked away once again in embarrassment.

"Okay. I will complete my work in library. Then you can go."

"Hn."

After finding the book she wanted from library, she looked at Sasuke with puppy dog eyes and a pout. When Sasuke saw the look, he knew he was in trouble. It was the same look Sakura gave him when she was asking him for permission to go to the disco. Although, he has to admit that Sakura looked quite cute with that look in her, yet he wouldn't give in to her demands this time. 'Wait, did he just say cute?'

When Sakura saw that Sasuke didn't have any reaction on seeing her expression, she decided to start the conversation, "So now you will be meeting your friend huh?"

"Hn"

"Can I go with you, please", Sakura said with her puppy dog eyes and a pout.

"No. She told not to bring anyone." Sasuke sighed and looked away. He knew he would give in if he sees her face.

"Pleaseeeeeeee. Pweety pwease with a tomato on top", Sakura continued. She knew that now he HAD to give in.

Sasuke sighed, he knew he had lost once again and said, "Okay but don't come out. She asked me to come alone."

"Yayy thanks. I promise I won't come out."

Sasuke checked the time. It was 4.55 pm so drove the car to Summer Park. He hoped that Saki wouldn't mind for his five minute lateness. They reached the park at 5.05 pm. Sasuke sighed a breath of relief because Saki hadn't arrived till then.

Sakura started speaking, "So Sasuke, do you like this girl?"

Sasuke remained silent for a minute and said muttered a "Yes".

"Will you be asking her to be your girlfriend?"

"I guess."

"Okay emo-kun, you have to express your feelings. Now look at my eyes and say what you want to say to her today."

Sasuke hesitated at first and looked at her and said, "Uh Saki, I umm...yeah..l-l-l-ike you... I can't do this."

"Sasuke relax. Your muscles are so tense. Now try again."

This time Sasuke looked at her seriously and said, "Saki, I like you a lot. Please be my girlfriend."

Sakura nodded her head and smiled at him. Inside she was feeling giddy but none of it showed on her face.

"Now Sakura-san, please go and hide behind the trees. Saki will arrive soon."

"All the best."

Sakura did as he said and moved behind a tree which was far from where he was standing. Now that Sakura knew that Sasuke liked Saki, she decided that she needs to reveal her identity now. She started crying there. She called Sasuke and waited for him to receive the call. He picked up the call at the third ring.

"Hey Saki. Where are you? I am waiting for you at the garden wearing a blue shirt and jeans. Can you see me?"

"I never want to see you again, Sasuke."

"Saki?"

"I asked not to bring Sakura with you but you still brought her."

"Saki, listen to me."

"No, you listen to me. You broke my trust. I don't want to see you ever. Forget whatever happened."

Before Sasuke could reply that Sakura came with him only to meet her, Saki hanged up the call. Heartbroken and dejected, Sasuke sat down on the bench and felt sad. He knew that this is what people feel when their heart breaks. Sasuke had a self depreciating smirk on his face at the irony. He had never met the girl yet she managed to break his heart. He sat their for a few minutes and decided that it was time he leaves the place and drop Sakura back at home. He went to where Sakura was sitting behind the tree.

"Sakura-san, lets go."

Sakura had a fake smile on her face and asked him, "So did you meet her?"

"No."

"So she didn't come?"

"No."

"Oh. She knew that I had come, right?"

His silence was the answer she got. Sasuke dropped her home and remained awake the whole night thinking about Saki. On the other side of the house, Sakura stayed awake too. She was thinking how she can be with Sasuke. She thought that eloping with him was the only option she had.
