I can't believe after all these months I never posted my reason why this fic was being discontinued here and I apologize. I posted it on Ao3 but didn't post it here.
To put it simply, I wasn't feeling it anymore and my writing was bad. I had to constantly look back at what I previously wrote because I rambled so much. Despite having the plot planned out, I winged the chapters instead of actually planning them. I felt like I was grasping at straws and needed to start over.
However after much work I am happy to announce that the rewrite is coming very soon! As in we are weeks away from the new version. I will start posting chapters once the first 10 are completed, which I am very close to finishing. I know several people are still following the original so here's the official update. The theme and settings I had for the original are staying the same. It will still be rated M, and will mention abuse and self harm. The only major changes will be that the story will be MUCH faster paced and chapters will be shorter. I won't do as much rambling as I originally did either. And finally I am changing the main character's name. The first few chapters will be posted together and the rest spaced out until the end.
