Caroline walks in to the room too making Klaus as shocked as Elena was before that, "You, you are supposed to be at Whitmore"
"And so are Bonnie and Damon" Elena adds.
They both then look at each other and then back at the door again, and they all are gone. They realize that someone is messing with their heads, they both wake up in real this time only to see Elijah sitting on a chair smirking on the two of them.
Elena repeats her action from the dream and sits up holding the sheet to the top of her breasts, "Elijah what are you doing here and what was with that dream"
Elijah answers,"I think that's the question I should be asking you, why are you on my brother's bed sleeping with him so peacefully."
Klaus keeps his head on Elena's lap and wraps his arm around her legs, "Ah please Elijah, don't tell me you are jealous."
"Niklaus" Elijah stands, "Did you compel the girl to sleep with you"
"No, I actually bound her to me via a magical ritual which is also considered as a sacred marriage among the witches." He answers lazily eyeing his brother, and Elena sits there open mouthed, without any words to say.
Elijah looks at his brother and then at Elena, he looks back at Klaus who is smiling, more like taunting him for something like 'it's none of your business because what's between us is just between us' but he doesn't has to say that.
Elijah looks back at Elena and questions, "Is it true Elena, are the two of you united via the sacred conjunction ritual?" Elena doesn't know the name of the ritual but she knows he is referring to the same ritual Klaus performed with her mistaking her to be Katherine and she nods in yes.
"Well then" Elijah says, "It's really none of my business what the two of you do" he walks out of the room leaving the two of them alone again.
"Klaus" she puts a hand on his soft curls. "Hmm" he moans, not wishing to move from where he is. "I have to go home"
"Don't go, this is your home too"
"Klaus" she says again, "Jeremy needs me, I have to go"
"Jeremy has his mother and father to take care of him" he answers lazily, "You stay here with me, nobody will know, I am sure Katerina is enjoying her life as you."
"Klaus" this time she raises her voice a bit making him turn, "I can't stay here, I have to go"
He shifts away from her legs, "Fine, go." He says and closes his eyes.
'God, how lazy he is' she thinks. She gets up from the bed wrapping the sheet all around her leaving him bare and he gets up, "Hey, what do you think you are doing?"
"Finding my clothes." She says while collecting her clothing from the ground
He frowns, "And why is it that you have to cover something I have already seen"
"Because" she says getting up with her clothes, "The door to this room is open and I really don't want anyone to stare at me like this."
He gets up and starts to dress too, he has put on his boxers and is putting up his pants while he sees Elena enter the ensuite, he waits for her to come out and when she does, she sees him all decked up with keys in his hand, he goes outside and beckons her to follow. She does, he leads her to the driveway where he has parked his car and they both drive out of his mansion,
At first Elena was relieved that he was driving her home but soon her relief turned to tension when she saw him drive in the opposite direction to her house, "Klaus, where are we going?" she asks. "To see the witch who did this to us" he answers.
The drive to the witch's house is silent. "Drizella, Drizella" he yells from outside her house.
"Yes" she comes out answering him.
"You said that the ritual was supposed to bind her to me but why is it that I find myself drawn to her"
"The consummation" she answers, "You consummated the marriage within twenty four hours, even in the ritual you were the one who never wanted her to leave your sight, if not for consummation, the girl would always be around you, if you would escape a city she would follow you till their but because you consummated the marriage when the conjunction was still visible in the sky you will be as drawn to her as she will be to you, there is no going back now."
"You said something about claim while performing the ritual." He asks "What does that mean?"
"I don't know" she answers, "Only those who have married via this ritual have experienced what it means, for others it's just that no other can lay a claim on that person, there are no specifics."
"Fine" he says, "I want to talk to those who have married via this ritual"
"You are kidding right" Drizzella says, "Because I told you this even occurred four hundred years ago and then four hundred years back after that, even if anyone has married under such ritual how would they still be alive to tell the tale."
Klaus looses patience hearing this and yells, "So how did you know about this ritual"
Drizzella was a really strong witch but she lacked courage, she was always there when Klaus needed her but she was also scared of his anger and when she saw the heat rising up in his head she said the first word that hit her mind, "Invisique" and 'poof' she is gone, vanished from before her eyes.
Klaus screams and throws whatever object comes in his hands, he keeps breaking things, Elena can feel what he feels, she can feel that he is so angry that if Drizzella hadn't cloaked herself he would have just killed her because of his temper.
Elena steps out of the car and walks close to him, She keeps a hand on his shoulder making him stop at the moment, "Elena" he says in a low voice, "Get back in the car."
She keeps her hand on the side of his cheek and says, "Hey, calm down, Drizzella is not the only witch we know, we know Bonnie too, I'll ask Bonnie about this ritual okay, just calm down."
He seems to have relaxed a bit but she doesn't know if it is her reasoning or is it her, well he relaxes and she walks him back to the car. He drives her back to the Gilbert house, Elena walks to the front porch but stops, she peeps through the window and sees Katherine, Jeremy, Stefan, her mom and dad are having a happy family dinner, she feels sad that they didn't even recognize her, they failed to notice the difference between Katherine and her.
She can't get in through the front door, else hr parents will see her, she can't get in through the back door, because she and Katherine would still be spotted together, she looks up to her bed room window and thinks that she will have to climb up now.
The thought has just passed her mind when Klaus comes and stands next to her and whispers in her eat, "Thinking to get in without being noticed sweetheart" she nods. He forwards his hand to her and she takes it, He jumps with her through the window and they both enter her room silently.
Elena is shocked and she whispers, "Klaus, I haven't invited you in yet so how did you?" This question shocks him too, he remembers really well that he compelled her to invite him in after she gets home which she hasn't done yet, But then soon she does what she was told, "Klaus Mikaelson, I hereby invite you to my house."
Well this invite was useless he thinks, if he could get in there even without the invite. Then something strikes his mind and he vamps out of her house only to give a visit to the lake house, there he tries to get in and is successful too, he wonders why is it so. He compels a vampire to get into the Lake house but when he fails Klaus just kills him but he wonders, does this has anything to do with the spell that was cast on them.
And then he recalls how he sensedit earlier that Elena was going to land in trouble and entered the scene where a scumbag was passing lewd comments on her and yes he intended to do more harm to Elena but before he could even touch her Klaus took him away and ate him, tore him like a wolf tears his prey.
Klaus wonders does Elena also feels the same, or is it due to some kind of magical relation developed, and what does claim means in this one, he had many questions but he had no patience to wait for the answers, so he started looking for old witch stories, books, mythologies etc to find out what it is, or what it meant
