Still The Killers Baby Girl

Summary: This is the continuation of the 'Killers Baby Girl' story, it's set after 'Killers not-so Baby Girl' and starts at the beginning of the TV show. Although due to some of the changes I'd made using events form the show earlier on It won't follow the complete Tv show timeline.

The main changes in the plot are: Tara never left Jax after high school and they married at 18, now with two kids Abel and Thomas. Donna, Ellie and Kenny were in a bad car crash and died years before this story is set. Half-Sack is a fully patched member with Cherry as an old Lady. and the new prospect is an OC but not that important to the plot.

Chapter 5

Bramty grinned and stood when Otto was led into the visitation room. Despite the fact she probably should have let Clay and Jax greet the him first, Bramty couldn't help but pull the man - who she had written to weekly, for over 10 years - into a hug before the others could reach him.

Otto chuckled hugging her back tightly, "Hey, kiddo... look at you now!" he pulled back grinning as he looked her up and down.

It wasn't in a creepy way that most men would, but a genuinely shocked way.

Bramty had spoken to Otto on the phone every now and then, since she was about 9 years old. And she had written him and Opie letters when Ope got locked up... however, her letters had continued to be sent to Otto after Opie left prison and told her how much the interaction actually meant to the man.

"I was 18 last time I visited" Bramty nodded chuckling at him. She starting moving back before the guard who was watching them could comment.

Jax gave her an odd look as he glanced between them both, "You visited Otto?"

Clearly the VP wasn't privy to the fact she wrote Otto with updates and random conversation weekly. Luanne was the recipient of most of Otto's phone privileges and so was anything that needed to be communicated to the club.

Otto nodded and chuckled before shaking Jax and Clay's hands as the men retook their seats beside Bramty.

Why the hell did Jax think Clay asked her to come with them for this shit?

"Anyway" Clay interrupted having already known. "Thanks for bringing this to the club... we got your message, what is it exactly you've got for us?" he got straight to business knowing they only have a certain amount of time.

"The guys send their best" Bramty smiled warmly at Otto who returned it with a grin of his own.

"Yeah, tell them hi and all that shit for me" Otto nodded

"So who else is looking to meet with your 'friend'?" Jax asked Otto being careful on what they said with a room full of listening ears.

"He's got a couple buddies in Chinatown" Otto answered, the real meaning behind his word was understood by Bramty, Clay and Jax who nodded. "They'd love to find him, show him a good time"

"If we pick him up and show him a good time first, how grateful is Chuck?" Jax asked clearly interested in what Otto was coming to the club with.

Otto leaned back in his chair, "Prolly bake you two honey cakes"

"You trust him?" Clay raised a brow watching Otto closely and Otto nodded easily. "A'ight. We'll show him around"

"Good" Otto agreed, "Make sure my gratitude goes to Luann" he shook Clay's hand.

"Absolutely" Clay agreed as he stood followed by Jax. Both men leading the way as Bramty stood last and nodded at Otto in goodbye.

She had never been much of a goodbye person and this was no different.

Otto nodded but caught her arm as she walked past him to the exit. "Hey, wait" he stopped her and let go of her hand before a guard noticed.

Bramty raised a brow at him noticing that Clay and Jax had stopped as well. "Yeah?" she narrowed her eyes when Otto barely held back his smirk.

"Chuck - he's, uh, got a couple of issues" Otto told them, "It's a nervous tic kind of thing"

"Tic's we can deal with" Clay said confidently and started walking away with Jax.

Neither of them noticing the amused grin on Otto's face.

"Why do I get the feeling it's not something we're gonna like" Bramty muttered only making Otto laugh before she shook her head and followed after Clay and Jax to the exit.

Whatever it was about Chuck, she knew she wasn't going to like it. That usually meant that the guys would like it even less!

"The little bitch is back and already trying to sweet talk my grandson into taking her sorry, baby-murdering, ass back!" Gemma fumed glaring across the park at the face painting booth where a young, blonde girl was helping out.

Bramty raised a brow slightly unsure on what Gemma was talking about before she connected the dots. Quickly realising the blonde is Wendy - who had been dying her hair brown for so long that her natural blonde made her look like a whole new person.

"Shit Gem" Bramty sighed shaking her head with an eye roll as the complaint Gemma had made now made sense to her. "Abel's falling for this shit?"

"Hook, line and sinker" Gemma scoffed

"Bitch must have a golden pussy" Bramty muttered hearing Gemma snort at the comment while they set up SAMCRO's chilly booth. Gemma had organised another town fundraiser to raise money for SAMCRO to participate in.

"Bramty!"

Bramty looked up at hearing her name and spotted Juice with the damn camera Gemma had been putting him in charge of for big town events like these. The video's are the ones Gemma has Juice turn into a pretty much advertisements for keeping the Sons of Anarchy in Charming. But it's the edits he does as a joke that are funny - making small regular scenes look like they're from an action film.

That's some funny ass shit.

Bramty sighed and nudged Gemma when she caught sight of Jax pinning Kyle Hobart up against a wall threateningly.

Personally, Bramty didn't remember much about the Boston Charter transfer. Besides the fact that he was excommunicated after only 6 months of being in Charming. The only thing she really remembered about him was the fact he bitched out on a job which got Opie arrested and then got Kyle thrown out of the clubhouse. It was the angriest Bramty ever remembered seeing the guys, but that didn't surprise her considering what had gone down.

Your bothers are supposed to be the people you can count on no matter what... Kyle had betrayed that.

Gemma groaned, "Maybe taking that to the club was a bad idea" she commented dryly and shook her head at Jax when he caught her eye. Jax begrudgingly let Kyle go after another pointed look from Gemma.

When Jax headed their way Bramty shook her head at the VP and jutted her chin in Opie's direction. Jax frowned and followed her line of sight until his eyes found a miserable looking Opie. The VP gave Bramty a nod before heading that way instead.

"Poor Ope" Bramty sighed shaking her head sadly.

If she were Opie - Kyle would be dead not excommunicated.

Club orders or not.

And he certainly wouldn't of been able to step foot in Charming had it been her in Opie's place.

"Seeing Kyle laughing with his kids and the bimbo peace of ass can't be easy on Ope..." Gemma said nodding in agreement. Not when Opie's wife and kids are dead - were the words that hung in the air not needing to be spoken for Bramty to know exactly what Gemma was thinking.

A little while later Bramty smiled up at Wayne Unser as he approached the booth. She let Gemma handle serving the Deputy Chief though.

While some may think it's out of simple old-school agreement with what SAMCRO provides in the town that keeps Unser Loyal, Bramty had long suspected it was really a love for Gemma and a thin friendship with Clay.

However, it was one of those questions which answer was one that never needed to be spoken aloud.

Whether Clay or Gemma realise the real reason for Unser's loyalty or not, Bramty didn't see a need to bring up something that had the potential to upset the balance they'd formed.

Whatever the reason - the friendship worked and that was all that mattered.

"All that fried shit's gonna kill ya" Gemma commented ruefully to Unser as she served him.

Unser snorted, "Yeah, Cause the cancer's keepin' me fit and spunky" he joked but it made Bramty's head snap up as she hoped it really were just a joke. From the sad look on Gemma's face it wasn't.

Wayne Unser has cancer!?

Well shit.

Bramty sighed and shook her head at that. She looked away from the man sadly. Instead her eyes landed on a familiar blonde in the crowd who was shaking like a leaf. Frowning, Bramty followed Wendy's gaze to the police booth - specifically a man arming the grill. Bramty couldn't get that good a look at the guy from across the park

However she did see the man look up and catch Wendy's gaze.

He waved and the 17 year old practically ran away...

"Hey Unser who's that guy?" Bramty asked the question before she even registered she was speaking. A wary pit in her stomach roaring with danger and the urge to attack.

Unser and Gemma both looked at her frowning before following her eye sight to the man in the grill.

"Ahh, that's our new best friend, Agent Kohn - A.T.F" Unser answered on a scoff

Gemma raised a brow, "The fed looking into the club is grilling sausages?" she asked a little incredulously

Bramty snorted, "Must be a part of his special federal training" she joked making an effort to push all suspicion out of her mind for the moment.

Bramty remembered her odd encounter with the agent. The club already knows that A.T.F is town, it didn't matter though, because they have nothing on the club.

Everyone was working hard to keep it that way.

They hadn't had cops other than Hale sniffing around in over 5 years and they all planned to keep it that way. A few bored Agents looking to find a case weren't going to become a problem for them. Despite the bad feeling she got about ATF pendejo being in town, the agent didn't seem to be causing any trouble for them.

At least not yet!

Bobby came up to them with Tig in toe and Bramty eagerly took the distraction from the suspicious agent. "You seen Jax?" Bobby asked

"With Ope" Gemma answered, "Why?"

"Boss wants us" Tig informed them before nodding for Bramty to come along as well. Bramty was quick to kiss Gemma's cheek before hugging Unser and heading in the direction Tig had gone.

"Sorry" Bobby shrugged at Gemma most likely only angering the woman further

"Sucks being boss, don't it?" Bramty heard Unser laugh and she shook her head. Imaging the string of cusses that earnt him from the matriarch.

Bramty hooked an arm around Tig's waist as she tucked herself into his side. Letting Tig lead her towards their bikes. Jax met them half way with Kyle and Opie right behind him.

"Chow meins' ready" Tig said eyeing Kyle with distrust and anger

"Alright" Jax nodded, "Catch you guys later" he said nodding as Kyle walked back to the fundraiser. "I'll explain on the way" Jax shrugged

"M'kay" Bobby nodded

"Wait, hold up" Jax stopped and they all followed where he was frowning at the police booth. "Who's that guy?"

Bramty raised a brow but answered nonetheless, "That's our A.T.F pendejo"

"That guy was at the hospital when I was in seeing Oscar last night..." Jax trailed off in confusion before he quickly dismissed it with a shrug and they continued the walk to their bikes.

What were the chances that Wendy - the mother of Oscar Teller - were to react so strongly to the man who had gone to see Oscar last night?

The same person who happened to also be an A.T.F agent looking into the club?

Why would an agent even check in on a baby at the hospital in the first place?

If he wanted to find Abel or Jax, hell even Tara, then there were plenty of more appropriate places to do that around town. ATF wouldn't usually go to a hospital in the dead of night to see if someone related to the club was with the baby. Certainly, not if you weren't going to introduce yourself which it didn't seen that this Agent Kohn had done.

Bramty shook her head of all thoughts and mounted her bike, right now she had shit to do.

She could figure this mess out later - and if her gut instincts told her anything; it was that, there is indeed, a mess to be fixed.

Bramty walked into the clubhouse finding Piney sat at the bar drinking - as usual for the older man - while Clay readied some guns and clips. She smiled as Clay looked up at her, having heard someone approach.

"Hey, darlin'" Clay smiled warmly with that same smile that Bramty and Gemma seemed to be the only two people to ever receive from the President.

Bramty returned the smile easily as she pressed a kiss to his cheek nodding at Piney in greeting.

"Daddy's banging some bitch and so I figured I'd come see if you needed help" she wrinkled her nose up a little as she spoke, earning chuckles from both Clay and Piney.

"You're a good girl" Piney smiled at her as he downed another tequila shot and snorted his oxygen tube further up his nose.

Of course they'd think her leaving her father to fuck a croweater made her a good kid!

She rolled her eyes at the thought...

As screwed up as the logic probably is; she'd been around sex since she was an infant. Living in the whorehouses Katherine worked out of and then spending her time in the club Katherine performed at. Often being forced to do things a child should never have to do, let alone witness... well, it desensitised her to sex from well before she'd come to live in the clubhouse. When she had been taken in by the club at only 9 years old, Bramty knew she had worried the men about her complete indifference to witnessing sex and some of the more kinky things the men had been doing, in plain view of her.

Dad and some of the others had been worried it would traumatise her further.

In reality, she knew being exposed to shit like that was the only reason she isn't traumatised.

With Katherine - sex or anything similar had been something to fear, dread and was associated with someone causing her pain.

But in the clubhouse... seeing the men she knew would never hurt her or cause her pain, seeing them engage in sexual activities had been the sole reason she learnt that not all sex was something to fear. There is pleasure in sex and that had been something she hadn't understood until living in the clubhouse.

And being so exposed to it growing up left her unfazed knowing that her father was having sex with a croweater in his dorm room, right now.

Bramty gave Piney a smile as she finally took notice of the man sitting beside him.

Someone who she didn't recognise, but knew if he was sitting in the clubhouse with Clay and Piney, that he wasn't a nobody.

"Who are you?" Bramty blinked at the new man, her tone softening the sharpness of the way she phrased her question.

"You remember the guy Otto told us about?" Clay asked not needing to explain any further for her to understand exactly who the new man sitting in their bar is.

Chuck - the guy who skimmed money from Linn.

"Uh, uh, h-hi... I'm Chuck but pe-people call me Chucky" the man stammered licking his lips nervously when Bramty's blank gaze fell on him. He looked like he was about to burst out crying at any second. Bramty blinked waiting for the tears but was surprised when instead, his hand slid down into his pants.

"Uh, I just want to thank you guys for having me" Chuck said, "This is a really nice place"

"¿Qué diablos le pasa? ¡Eso es repugnante, gilipollas!" Bramty spat in disgust as her lip curled up into a sneer as she watched this man jerk off in front of her as if he wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary.

It made the whole thing worse when he continued looking around at the three of them like he wasn't touching himself right now.

"Jesus!" Piney winced shaking his head

Chuck either ignored their reactions or was oblivious to them because he kept talking. "Linn was real sloppy with his money. Arrogant, wasteful prick. There was so much of it too - counterfeiting, prostitution... I cooked his books for over a year. Skimmed a little hoping he'd fire me, but he never noticed so I kept on skimming"

"What did you get busted for?" Clay asked walking behind the bar

Bramty narrowed her eyes at Clay's back wondering if they were really going to continue talking like this pendejo didn't have his hands down his pants?

"Lawyer finally caught on... I got scared so I cut a deal with ATF"

"Great. He's a freak and a rat" Clay sighed shaking his head with a pained look on his face.

Happy sighed as he headed back down to the main bar, the blonde croweater winking at him as he passed. He didn't give her any response though.

There wasn't anything to say; she let him fuck her and that was it.

That was all he was interested in and if she was stupid enough to not know that by now... then that shit is on her.

Happy paused by the bar seeing an unknown guy sitting on one of the barstools, looking at his daughter, with a hand jammed down in his pants.

"Who the fuck is that?" Happy growled storming into the bar ready to kill. "And what the fuck does he think he's doing?"

"You remember we told you Otto had us watching a guy for him?" Bramty said dryly as she glanced at the asshole playing with his own dick. "Meet Chuck."

"Hi." The man said quickly still going to town on himself, right there, in the middle of the bar.

"Oh, yeah. Otto said he had a nervous tick." Clay said shrugging a shoulder.

Bramty scoffed, "This is what Otto classifies as a "nervous tick"?"

"I think I had it for a little while when I was 13" Piney quipped

It was then that the other guys all got back from wherever they'd been. Happy wasn't the only one glaring at this Chuck guy, when they realised he wasn't going to stop.

Jax shook his head as he helped Chuck into the van.

When Chuck still didn't stop jerking himself off, Happy threw a roll of duck tape at the VP. Jax took the hint with a disbelieving chuckle and duct taped the man's hands to his thighs. They'd all seen a lot of shit being in an MC and yet, sometimes things just seemed to take them by surprise.

"Is this really necessary?" Chuck whined trying to get his hands free.

"Yeah. It is." Jax answered with an incredulous shake of his head.

Was this asshole for real?

Happy growled as he passed by Chuck and got into the van. He held back a smile when the guys eyes widened and he moved away quickly. Happy smirked when Bramty and Tig chuckled at him and set their own deadly glared in Chuck. The ride to the Chinese restaurant however was short. Chuck seemed to grow more nervous the closer they got, but thankfully, remained silent.

When they got there, Clay, Jax, Bobby and Tig escorted Chuck inside the restaurant to retrieve the money.

Happy posted up outside by the front of the van with Bramty, Half-Sack and Opie.

The 4 of them scanned the area ready for shit to go down at any second.

Happy couldn't help but be proud at the fact he knew Bramty was as ready to defend the club as he was. She had learnt a lot over the past few years, but none of it mattered if you didn't have the natural instincts.

And Bramty has them... just like he does.

"Our friends in the Beemer are here. And another interested party's been making laps in a silver Caddy." Happy told Clay when the group returned - duffle bags in hand.

"All right, let's move" Clay ordered. "Jax can drive."

"Crap" Tig sighed as he shoved Chuck into the back. Happy chuckled, everyone knew at this point that Tig hates it when Jax drives.

Most of them hate it when Jax drives!

Jax started up the engine, putting the van in drive. Shitty rock music blasting from the speakers as Jax headed straight for the parking lot entrance. Suddenly the blue Beemer pulls up sideways across the driveway blocking their van. Jax slams the van into reverse and quickly backs up, but a silver Caddy pulls up blocking that exit too.

"Shit!" Jax cursed along with everyone else. "Hold on."

Turning towards the Beemer, Jax slams the accelerator to the floor hurtling the van forward. The tires squeal as Jax rams into the Beemer broadside, the two Asian men barely having got out before the crash.

"Well, that didn't work." Opie muttered sarcastically

Jax put the van into reverse and backed up quickly, the group ducking as shots began firing at them. Happy scanned their surroundings quickly identifying the shooters as the two Asian men in the Beemer that were behind the safety of their car. Jax slammed on the brakes sending the group in the back tumbling across the floor, only to have the van sputter and die leaving them motionless.

Happy looked at Bramty who looked about as unimpressed with the situation as he felt. He gave her a nod once he was satisfied she hadn't been injured.

"Shit. What's the plan here, Clay?" Jax asked ducking down in the driver's seat as the two men in the Caddy unload bullets into the van.

Happy pulled out his glock from the back of his jeans, ready to protect his family the best he could.

Bramty and Tig followed his lead - with the three of them together, nobody stood a chance.

However, it was then that Clay looked into the duffle bag, finding plates for making money. "This shit's counterfeit?" Clay growled out

"It's not shit." Chuck attempted to argue. "It's really good! These bills will pass anywhere!"

"Goddamn it!" Tig said getting up to his knees and punching Chuck in the face. Hard.

"Hold up! Easy!" Clay opens the door and called to the Asians as he steps out. "I think we can make a deal." He slung the bag over the top of the door, showing it to them. "I want to talk to Lin."

Clay steps out from behind the safety of the van door as soon as Lin got out of his car and approached - motioning to his men to put down their weapons.

Happy watched the situation play out ready to intervene at any point. Bramty was at his side, glock aimed at Lin and finger ready on the trigger.

Pride swelled in his chest but he pushed it to the side for the moment.

He had to focus.

"Here's your money" The President tossed the bag on the ground. "But I'm guessing that's not what you're looking for?" Clay held up the plate in his left hand.

Lin eyed it and nodded, "Where's the other plate?"

"It's in the van." Clay said handing the plate to Lin. "Look, we both got jerked around here. Now I need real cash. You need the cash maker. Hey, cops will be here in a heartbeat."

"I got the cops under control. Ten grand." Lin sighed

"Hundred."

Shaking his head Lin countered a low, "Thirty."

"Sixty, and I'll throw in the door prize. Hey, Chucky!" Clay smirked motioning back to them in the van.

Happy was all too pleased to grab Chuck and haul him outta the van.

"Was there ever any real skim money?" Jax asked Chuck

"No." Chuck yelped and Bobby hit the asshole from behind making him yell out again. "I'm sorry!"

"Let's go!" Clay yelled as Happy dragged a resisting, Chuck towards Lin. He wasn't sad to see the sick fuck go, that's for sure. Only thing he would of enjoyed more was pulling the trigger himself!

"I needed protection. And I figured you guys could still spend the money. You know?" Chuck yelled trying to plead with Clay. "This was not our deal! I want to talk to Otto!"

"Shut up!" Happy snapped in a deadly growl shoving the fucker towards Lin.

"Pay Elvis and his friends." Lin said giving his guys a nod.

"Get the other plate." Clay ordered and Half-Sack grabbed the plate from the van, bringing it back over to Clay.

"Guys, guys, really, this is a big mistake!" Chuck attempted to plead with them once again.

Clay and Lin exchange the plate for an envelope of cash. "Pleasure." Clay gives Lin a nod. "See you, Chucky."

Happy couldn't help but feel a lot better now that this Chuck asshole was gone. They'd almost got in a bad situation over some counterfeit money.

That's some real bullshit.

Lie to the club and you die - like a lot.

If there was one thing Bramty knew how to do, it was distract people from seeing what her real intentions were. A skill that had surprisingly been taught to her by none other than Clay and Gemma.

Considering the two were likely the only strategically manipulative people in the club, maybe it wasn't all that surprising they'd been the ones to teach that type of shit to her as a teen?

But it had proven to come in handy on more than one occasion.

Saved Bramty's life a few times too.

And once again Bramty was taking full advantage of her charms as she knocked on the front door of the modest two story Teller household. A smile on her face - albeit slightly forced considering it was 6 am - but a sweet smile nonetheless.

Jax answered the door warily and blinked in surprise when he spotted her standing there. "Bramty?" he asked sounding like he had just woken up

"Hey Jax!" Bramty smiled innocently and walked freely past him into the house not waiting for the man to actually invite her in.

She could hear someone, likely Tara, cooking in the kitchen and wandered in that direction.

The scene Bramty found was very mundane.

A sight she never would have pictured breakfast with the Teller's looking like. Forcing down the urge to snap a photo and laugh her ass off all the way back to TM, Bramty walked further into the room. Abel was sitting at the table with Wendy at his side. Next to the couple was a 12 year old Thomas who was irritating Tara as she tried to finish making eggs.

All of them were in Pj's and had failed to notice her arrival.

Bramty cleared her throat, "Morning!" she chirped sauntering into the kitchen. Taking a seat at Abel's other side on the stool behind the island counter.

Everyone in the room blinked in surprise at her presence.

However If someone else were to see how casual she was - they'd think Bramty was as familiar with the routine as the Tellers. While on the inside, Bramty was screaming in discomfort she kept perfect composure.

"Uh, Bramty?" Tara blinked before smiling warmly, "Hey, how are you?"

"I'm alright. Back in town for good now" Bramty answered returning the smile that was still slightly forced.

Not that Tara noticed.

She had never been close to Tara, in fact they have an extremely odd relationship.

Tara had been the recipient of Bramty's cold shoulder for years when Bramty was younger. However once Bramty hit her teen years and was able to really, fully understand Tara's perspective on things she'd gotten over it. Her 9 year old mind had been terrified of Tara and the other Doc taking her away from Dad. Once she realised Tara couldn't do that... well Bramty had been furious.

But over all, Tara had felt so bad about it that she was overly eager for acceptance again. The woman pretty much completely forgot all the petty and nasty things Bramty had done to her over the years.

It was weird but it worked in Bramty's favour sometimes.

Like now.

"That's great!" Tara nodded as a confused Jax walked back into the kitchen. Bramty wondered if he'd been standing at the door this whole time?

"Yeah" Bramty hummed, "It was great going from Charter to Charter, showing up the big bad bikers-" she smirked at the mere memory of just how many times that happened. "-but those places never felt as much like home as Charming" she finished with a nod.

Jax eyed her still looking confused on why she was here - he wasn't her biggest fan but he was still family. They got along fine. It didn't mean they spent much time together now or even when she had been younger though.

"Uh, so, what's up?" Jax asked clearing his throat

Bramty shrugged, "Now that I'm back I've decided to reconnect with everyone again. I'm not the same person I was when I left. I did a lot of shit while I was gone and I realised that Daddy wasn't the only one I got in my corner unconditionally" she lied knowing it was a line Jax would reluctantly buy and Tara would eat up.

"Well that's good news!" Tara predictably looked pleased with that answer. "Would you like some breakfast?"

"Some coffee would be great" Bramty nodded with a smile at Tara who easily made her a mug of fresh, hot, coffee. "Gracias Tía"

Tara beamed at the nickname but was quick to hide it. Bramty would have missed it had she not known the reaction it would elicit.

Breakfast went on and Jax relaxed a little after Tara plied him with food and a quietly whispered warning to be polite. When Bramty's phone dinged she was unimpressed to find a message from Dad.

Why are you inviting yourself over to Jax's for breakfast? Baby Girl if you're causing trouble I'll beat your ass - Dad

She rolled her eyes at the message. The warning that would have most shaking in their boots went dismissed by Bramty. She knew Dad would never lay a hand on her despite the half hearted threat.

I'm reconnecting with my family, if you must know - Bramty

Seriously? If you think I'm actually going to believe that shit then you really are crazy. Get your ass back here and don't piss anyone off - Dad

How'd you know I was here anyway? Jax called? - Bramty

Course he did. Wanted to know why you were showing up at his place at 6 fucking am! - Dad

Bramty could practically hear the scoff in his voice as she read the last text message. She knew he had a valid point. They both did. But instead of caring, she flipped her phone shut.

She would go home when she was good and ready to.

Bramty wasn't here to cause trouble anyway.

In fact, Bramty was actually here to make nice with the Tellers who she planned on trying to protect. The A.T.F agents appearance and actions in this town weren't normal or typical for an investigator. Every instinct inside her was screaming danger... and Bramty needed to know why.

She had never doubted her instincts before and she didn't plan on starting now.

And they were pointing her in the direction of the Teller family... so here she is.

Zoning back into the conversation she caught Oscars name and listened in to what Tara was saying to Abel and Wendy. "...the room can be done by Thursday at this rate"

"How is everything going with the baby?" Bramty chimed into the conversation curiously.

Wendy and Tara both looked surprised she knew about the child, but what seemed to surprise the family more was that Abel answered her happily. "He's doing good now. He's just over 4 months old and it won't be that much longer until we can hold him. We're starting the nursery upstairs"

Bramty smiled and nodded at Abel, "That's great mano. You guys seem excited about the baby, that's good"

"Do - do, uh, you want kids of your own?" Tara asked

Bramty blinked in surprise before shaking her head no quickly with a small laugh. "God no!' she smirked.

"You could be a good mom" Wendy offered with a shrug and both Tara and Abel nodded in agreement. Thomas just shrugged not really knowing while Jax simply raised a brow at Bramty as if wanting to see how she'd react to that topic.

"Nah I wouldn't" Bramty snorted unaffected by the reality that some people just weren't meant to be parents. "That's not what I want in life. I'm not the emotionally available, gentle and caring type person..." she trailed off

Jax snorted before trying to cover it when Tara gave him a warning look. "What?" Jax blinked innocently holding up his hands. "We've known Bramty since she was 9 and never once did she pick up a doll or play baby and shit like that" Jax defended. "She was all about the fighting and working in the garage"

"Still am" Bramty agreed with the first real smile of the morning

Jax nodded smugly at his Old Lady who rolled her eyes giving up on reprimanding him for being rude. After all, it was the way they were raised; to speak their mind. Only time they couldn't was on club business or to patched members.

Bramty didn't take offence.

"Ah shit" she cursed on a sigh when her phone started ringing again. "Dad has some shit he needs me for... I'll see you guys around. Later VP" she clapped Jax on the shoulder before leaving the house. "And, uh, thanks for the coffee Tía Tara"

With that, Bramty left the Teller house answering her phone when she made it out onto the drive way. "Yeah?"

"You're still there?" Dad growled

"Leaving now" Bramty rolled her eyes

"Uh-huh" was Dad's small huff of annoyance. "What are you playing at, Baby Girl?" he asked.

Bramty knew his suspicions weren't from Jax, they were because her father was the one person who could read her like the back of his hand. Even Tig only knew some of her tells that something was going down.

And those were only visible if she wasn't trying hard to conceal them.

After the taste of Charming fundraiser two days ago Dad had immediately picked up on her unease. Bramty had admitted to him that she just had a bad feeling in her gut about the A.T.F agent. She told him about Wendys reaction, about Oscar and the hospital visit Jax mentioned.

The more that came to light about this agent... the more suspicious him being here was.

However, nothing had come of the agent being in Charming as of yet for the club. He wasn't looking very hard for evidence on them. He wasn't doing much of anything and that bothered Bramty.

It felt too much like this guy was laying in wait to strike.

Which was why she'd decided to stop in and see the Tellers this morning.

If shit does end up going down, Bramty wanted to be close by the family. She needed to be in their good graces enough that they know she could be trusted to help. That meant showing she was back for good and getting rid of any doubt that they might have that she possibly didn't want to hear from them.

"I'm on my way back to the clubhouse" Bramty said and with that she hung up on him.

Dad was someone she knew she could trust with anything and everything. This would be no different. He would help her figure this shit out and then they'd eliminate the threat to their family and club.

Bramty started up her motorcycle, eyes widening when she spotted the man in question. He was just a little way down the street from the Tellers house sitting in his car.

Had the agent been sitting in the car when she got there?

Over an hour later he's still there watching?

Bramty didn't think that this shit was all some big coincidence.

This agent was coming for the Tellers.

Riding past she turned her head and stared at the agent while he turned his face away trying to protect his identity. Regular people minding their own business didn't do shit like that. It was clear he didn't think she realised who he was.

Bramty rode out of the street and pulled up to a stop a few houses down and out of sight. She pulled out her phone and quickly sent a text to Jax warning him that he might have a tail sitting a few houses down.

Dad was sitting at the bar with a mug of coffee waiting, when Bramty walked through the clubhouse doors.

She smiled at that.

Wordlessly they walked up to her dorm, sat on the bed and got comfortable before Bramty started her story. Bramty explained everything to him. She explained her fears that this situation was one they had been underestimating, she told him about the agent camped outside the Teller house. Reminded him about the agents late night visit to the hospital and Wendy's reaction to seeing the man at the fundraiser.

Dad looked over at her after a pause of thoughtful silence, "Sounds like it's definitely personal to me... whatever this guy is here for - it sounds like it's got something to do with the Tellers, for sure" he agreed

Bramty frowned as she nodded in agreement - she had known that already, and she was relieved to hear it wasn't just in her head.

This wasn't just a simple investigation into the club or its VP.

Who could the Tellers have pissed off?

TikiKiki thanks for the comment. I fixed the mistake and just to clarify - yes, Abel and Wendys son is named Oscar Teller.
