Dragon Ball Z: New Future
Chapter 6: An Expected Arrival
Lapis stared blankly at the television as he flicked through the channels at random, his expression one of boredom as he sat slouched down on the wide sofa.
"Come on, can there just be something interesting for once?" he muttered to himself with an annoyed frown, and promptly rolled his eyes as he came across yet another sappy drama show, this one seemingly about some alien prince who falls in love with a human woman.
"My love, I cannot stay! I must go and defeat the tyrannical emperor that murdered my people! It is my destiny to avenge them and become a legendary warrior!" the male lead cried out dramatically, looking down at his lover as he held her comfortingly in his arms.
"But my prince, what if you do not return? I cannot bear to live without you, and no other man could hope to be as strong and handsome as you are!" the woman wailed out as she clutched onto the tall man's space armor, the over the top performance earning a groan of disgust from their unimpressed viewer.
"Seriously, who watches this crap? I can't believe somebody thought that this garbage would ever make for a good show!" Lapis exclaimed as he abruptly turned off the television, shaking his head as he tossed the remote to the side in disappointment.
He then stands up to stretch out his arms whilst releasing a yawn, his eyes darting around the living room and taking in the large capsule house.
"Living here may be a little boring at times, but man am I glad that we took Trunks and Mai up on that offer for a place to stay!" Lapis thought to himself with a grin, before he then wanders over to the hallway as he decides to see what his sister was up to at the moment.
He soon comes up to the closed door of Lazuli's room and without even bothering to knock he barges in, immediately coming face to face with his very angry looking sibling.
"And just what the hell do you think you're doing Lapis? I thought I told you to knock when you entered my room?" Lazuli snapped with her signature scowl, looking to have been in the middle of sorting through some clothes that she had no doubt purchased on a recent shopping trip.
"Give me a break sis! I was only wondering if you wanted to do something fun?" Lapis said with a playful grin, "We haven't done much together lately so what do you say?"
Lazuli simply regards her brother with a pointed stare as she places her hands on the sides of her hips, the young woman seemingly waiting for Lapis to recall something as he sits there in confusion.
"Wait, are you still mad at me for ditching you on that shopping trip last week?" Lapis said as he rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, finally remembering what the last thing they did together was.
"You're damn right I am! And if you think I'm going to go along with whatever crazy thing it is you call 'fun', then no thanks got it?" Lazuli replied as she folded her arms, having a good idea of what her brother was interested in.
"Alright then miss killjoy, I guess I'll just leave you alone then! Perhaps Trunks and Mai will be more keen to join me on my exciting escapades!" Lapis said as he stepped out the door, flashing a mischievous smirk at Lazuli as he begins to walk away.
Lazuli just shakes her head in disbelief at that as she quickly slams the door behind him, briefly sighing as she then goes back to looking over her assorted clothing.
"What am I going to do with you Lapis? You're nothing but trouble, you know that?" Lazuli thought as she picked up a blue denim vest, her concerned expression quickly morphing into a pleased one as she admires the clothing item, thinking that it would work great with the white long sleeved shirt she had purchased as well.
Lapis meanwhile had come to a stop just outside of Trunk's room, his gaze fixed on the slightly ajar door, and with the opportunity so easily presenting itself to the ever curious teenager, he couldn't resist his inquisitiveness as he then slowly pushes the door open.
He grins when he sees that Trunks wasn't inside as he then swiftly steps in to have a look around, seeing that the other young man had barely any stuff in his room at all, appearing almost empty in comparison to his own.
Lapis chuckles as he thinks about all of the posters and random Knick-knacks he had filled his room with, remembering how his sister would constantly comment on how messy it looked when she'd occasionally stop by.
He halts his musings when something catches his attention at the top of a tall shelf, his eyes going wide as he began staring in curiosity at what looked to be a half broken sword.
"That seems interesting, I think I'll take a closer look!" he thought as he positioned himself on top of a nearby chair, reaching up to take a hold of the hilt and quickly finding that the weapon was abnormally weighted.
"Holy hell what is this thing made of?" Lapis muttered as he grasped the hilt with both hands, his teeth gritted in slight exertion as he carefully stepped off of the chair, placing the heavy item on top of a nearby desk and causing the wood to creak a bit under the strain of the metal object.
Lapis takes in a deep breath as he looks over what remained of the once large sword, seeing that the majority of the blade had been broken off and all that remained was barely a dagger's worth of the weapon left.
"Now why would Trunks have this busted thing in here? It must be pretty important if he's got it in his own room," Lapis said as he took a closer look at the weapon, and despite being no expert on swordcraft he felt that it looked reasonably well made.
"Perhaps I'll ask him about it later... speaking of which just where is he and Mai anyway? I haven't seen them around for the past hour or so," he continued as he glanced out of the window, and as if to answer his question he manages to spy two familiar figures seated on the ground outside.
Lapis cocks his head curiously at the sight of Trunks and Mai sitting cross-legged in the large grass space at the centre of their backyard, and from what he could tell it almost looked like they were meditating.
"Huh, wonder what they're up to? Well since I've got nothing better to do, I'll just go see what the happy couple are doing together," he thought as he then hastily moved out of the room, completely forgetting in his rush about the sword he had left lying on the desk.
Out in the area to the rear of the capsule home, Trunks and Mai were sitting across from one another with about a meter between them, a slight breeze rustling their clothing and similarly shifting the many trees and bright flowers that made up the surrounding garden.
Mai had her eyes tightly closed as she took in several deep breathes, her expression one of complete concentration as she held her hands cupped out in front of her.
Trunks meanwhile was watching intently from his position across from her, his eyes fixed to the centre of her palms where she was trying to focus all of her energy, the Saiyan not daring to blink as he waited for the familiar spark of ki between her hands.
After a few moments his expression lights up as he sees the faintest glow forming, Trunks holding his breath in anticipation as he briefly watches the tiny light flicker into existence for a short while before fading once again.
"That's really well done Mai! I can't believe you're picking this up only after a week or so of practice!" Trunks said proudly as Mai let loose a gasp, the young woman looking drained from the exertion but still pleased nonetheless.
"Thanks... I'm glad that I can now consistently form the energy, even if it takes a bit out of me to do so," Mai said with a tired smile, having been forming and then releasing her ki for over an hour now.
"Yeah, honestly you're not far off of giving flying a go, or hovering just above the ground at least," Trunks replied with a joyful grin as he stood up, "But for now I think we should take a break, how does some lunch sound?"
Mai responds with a grateful nod as Trunks offers a helping hand to pull her to her feet, and the two of them then head back towards the house, seeing to their mild surprise that Lapis had been watching them from the entranceway.
"So what exactly were you guys up to?" Lapis asked casually as they came up to him, his expression only somewhat hiding his curiosity as he glanced between Trunks and Mai.
Trunks sends Mai a questioning look who simply nods encouragingly as she moves past Lapis, the black haired teenager giving her a puzzled look at that before turning back to Trunks.
"Well in answer to your question Lapis, I was teaching Mai how to utilize her ki," Trunks said with an awkward grin, knowing just how crazy that statement must sound to someone unfamiliar with ki manipulation.
"Her what? Isn't that just another term for energy or something?" Lapis said with a confused expression, thinking that it sounded like some weird spiritual nonsense.
"Yeah it is a form of energy, but not many people can use it naturally, so it takes a bit of practice to get the hang of!" Trunks said reassuringly, earning him an unconvinced stare from Lapis.
Upon seeing his look Trunks simply sighs as he then holds up his hand to chest height, Lapis frowning at the motion before his expression changes rapidly to one of surprise, as he finds himself staring at a glowing yellow ball of energy that had suddenly formed in Trunk's palm.
"Damn... that's incredible! Just what exactly is that stuff?" Lapis said in awe as he reached out to touch the floating orb, his finger connecting with the glowing ki and instantly sending an unexpected sensation of warmth up his entire arm.
Lapis snatches his hand away after a moment and glances down at his arm in shock, the warm feeling slowly fading as he then looks up in amazement at Trunks who grins back at him as he disperses the energy.
"That's just the start of ki abilities, with enough control you can learn to do other things like this," Trunks said as he took a decent step backwards, focusing his energy to lift himself off of the ground by a few feet.
If it was possible for Lapis to be any more impressed, he most certainly would have been as he stared with wide eyes at the space between Trunk's feet and the ground, the young man almost not believing what he was seeing.
"No way... you're actually flying? You have to teach me this stuff, I can learn it too right?" Lapis said with a sudden burst of excitement, acting almost like a kid who had been offered a new toy.
"Ah... sure, I don't see why not. Maybe Lazuli would be interested too," Trunks said with a chuckle as he lowered himself back down.
"Just what exactly would I be interested in Trunks? Don't tell me that my brother has convinced you to join in on one of his dumb games?" Lazuli's voice came from inside, and the two of them look in to see her standing at the entrance to the living room.
"Hey none of my games are dumb okay? And what Trunks was talking about was this ki control thing, where you can fly and stuff," Lapis said as he folded his arms, his sister just giving him a confused look as she then glances at Trunks for clarification.
Trunks opts to explain through another demonstration as he once again forms a ki ball and sends it floating over to her, Lazuli adopting an almost identical expression to her brother before as she stands there transfixed by the sight of the magic-like orb.
"Now that's something you don't see everyday, makes for a good flashlight I suppose," Lazuli said with a smirk as she glanced at Trunks, "So you're telling me this is what you can use to fly?"
"Sure is, I wouldn't have believed it either but I've seen him going through the sky at incredible speeds. It's truly amazing!" Mai said suddenly as she re-entered the room, having overheard the conversation from the kitchen.
"And I think it's a great idea that all of us learns this together! It'll be a fun activity for us to do as a group!" Mai added warmly with a smile, with Trunks nodding in agreement as the twins share excited looks at the prospect of learning something very beneficial.
"Not to mention if they can learn the basics of ki and martial arts, they'll be able to defend themselves from those who wish to harm them," Mai thought internally as she placed lunch out on the table, everyone quickly joining her to take a seat as they begin eating together.
As they enjoy the servings of sandwiches, potato chips and orange juice, Lapis begins chatting away eagerly to Trunks about ki and martial arts, the black haired teenager appearing very enthusiastic about learning these secret powers.
"Okay so aside from flying, what other stuff can you do with ki?" Lapis asked with an inquisitive look, "And how many others can do this sort of stuff? I haven't heard about these powers before so I assume it's rare or something?"
"Yeah you can use it for offensive and defensive techniques, and as for those who can use ki I'd say there's no more than a dozen by my count," Trunks said as he briefly stopped eating his food, thinking that with everyone he knew the total amount of fighters on Earth would be ten including himself.
"Also the reason that it's not common knowledge for everyone is because the training to use ki is very specific, and can be quite challenging if you're not prepared for it," he added after finishing his sandwich, fondly recalling the many years of training he had underwent with the Gohan from his original timeline.
"That's cool, I really can't wait to learn this stuff! Being able to fly and shoot lasers out of my hands will be totally awesome!" Lapis said with a wide grin, not noticing the cautionary glances that Trunks and Mai sent each other, as both of them knew exactly just what sort of path that could lead to if left unchecked.
"Yes you can do that, but you have to be responsible with these powers. In the wrong hands it could be used for incredible evil and that is something I'll be very vigilant of," Trunks said firmly, dampening down Lapis's mood a bit as he nods in understanding.
"But I'm sure you and Lazuli will be fine, I'll make sure to show you the ropes and you'll be capable ki users in no time..." Trunks said before trailing off suddenly, everyone soon turning their attention to him as they see his eyes go wide unexpectedly.
"Trunks is everything okay? What's wrong?" Mai asked quietly as she took in her close friend's expression, seeing the evident concern etched on his features.
Trunks doesn't respond immediately as he then stands up hastily, his face going deadly serious as he stares off seemingly into space, his focus seemingly locked onto something that no-one else in the room could sense nor see.
"Mai it's him. Frieza's here right now!" Trunks said forcefully, earning him a gasp from Mai along with dual looks of confusion from the twins.
"Who's Frieza and why are you looking worried all of a sudden? Is this guy some kind of trouble?" Lazuli asked cautiously as she notices Trunk's thousand yard stare.
"He's trouble alright, Frieza's a ki user like me and he's one hundred percent pure evil!" Trunks said as his mind began whirring with his course of action, having been expecting the galactic tyrant's arrival but not being completely sure when he would actually arrive.
"So is he really strong or something? Are you going to have to go over and fight him?" Lapis asked curiously, looking more intrigued than he was afraid of this Frieza person.
"Maybe, but regardless I'm going to head over to him either way!" Trunks replied hurriedly before he then bolts down the hallway, returning mere seconds later with his backpack slung across his back as he quickly moves over to the doorway.
"I'll be back soon guys! For now I want you to all stay here until the battle is over!" Trunks said as he then envelopes himself in a white aura of energy, swiftly taking off into the sky before anyone could form a proper reply.
"Wait, Trunks! You be careful alright?" Mai shouted as she ran after him, stopping in the doorway and seeing to her dismay that he had already gone far off into the distance and out of sight.
Mai sighs heavily as she turns back to the twins, both of them looking baffled and shocked at everything that had just occurred without any warning.
"So are we seriously going to just sit here whilst Trunks goes off to fight this scumbag by himself?" Lapis said in disbelief, feeling more inclined to follow his new friend rather than wait around for his return.
"I'm afraid so. The fight that is going to take place will most certainly be dangerous for anyone involved, even people who are simply watching from the sidelines," Mai said with a resigned expression, not particularly liking the thought of being left to wait anxiously either.
Lapis stares at her with a disappointed look before he glances at his sister, Lazuli looking more annoyed than anything as she stands there with her arms folded.
"This is ridiculous, if anything we should be going with him to see for ourselves what this ki and martial arts stuff is about! Honestly if he wants us to learn about it then why shouldn't we go?" she said in an annoyed tone, to which her brother nods in agreement as Mai looks at her in apprehension.
"I don't know, I feel we should just trust Trunk's judgment on this one guys," Mai said meekly, appearing to be slightly unsure of herself in that moment and causing both of the twins to pounce on her indecision.
"Come on Mai, like Lazuli said it could be a good learning experience for us! We'll make sure to keep a good distance away so that we won't get caught up in the crossfire!" Lapis said confidently, putting on his most reassuring smile as he nudges Mai lightly with his elbow.
"Look, me and Lapis know how to avoid danger when we need to. And with you there I'm sure we'll have nothing to worry about!" Lazuli added with a smile, causing Mai to look between the two as her resolve starts to crumble.
"Well... I do hate fretting over Trunks when he goes into battle like this. I suppose that as long as we are careful... then I'd be willing to go along with this," Mai said with a conflicted expression, not wanting to go against Trunk's wishes but feeling the peer pressure getting to her, combining with her own doubts she had about staying put.
"Alright then looks like we're all in agreement, so what do you say to me handling the driving eh?" Lapis said hopefully as he glanced between the two women, Lazuli rolling her eyes whilst Mai chuckles at that, as all of them then head outside in order to get the air car ready.
Vegeta scowled as he watched Frieza's ship slowly come in to land over the horizon, his senses picking up two very large power levels onboard the vessel, one he easily recognized as the evil tyrant himself and the other whom he could only assume was King Cold.
"Guys can you feel those two energy signatures? They're impossibly huge!" Yamcha said anxiously, a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead as he grasps the enormity of the foes they were about to face.
"I wonder who that other big power level is? He's just as strong as Frieza… so maybe it's his dad... or something?" Gohan stammered out as he glanced between all of his more experienced friends, the nerves being displayed by some of them unfortunately affecting the young boy.
"I agree, their presence is truly overwhelming. Though if I'm not mistaken they're still quite behind that one person we detected a few months back," Tien added sagely as he too watched the ship, the stoic warrior only holding his composure marginally better than his comrades.
"Man I wish whoever that was would just come here and get rid of Frieza! That'd make things way easier!" Krillin commented with a nervous chuckle, his memories of the last fight with Frieza running through his mind as he desperately tried to stop shivering in fear.
Vegeta glares at the others as they prattled on, the Saiyan prince resisting the urge to blast them in order to simply shut them up.
"Can the lot of you just be quiet? We don't need this newcomer or anyone else to take on Frieza, I'll be more than capable of doing that myself!" Vegeta declared proudly as he clenched a fist in front of him, with most of the other fighters turning to him with incredulous looks.
Piccolo however merely grunts in response to Vegeta's bold statement, the Namekian opting to instead keep his eyes fixed on the horizon as he monitors the enemies that were now assembling outside of the landed ship.
"Listen up everyone! There are over two dozen opponents readying themselves for battle over there! Most of them are low in power, but the two larger ones will be the main problem," he stated loudly as everyone then switches their focus to him.
"Vegeta and I are the strongest, so we will engage Frieza and the other fighter. I want the rest of you to take out the weaker ones quickly so that we can gain some sort of advantage," Piccolo continued, Vegeta snorting derisively at being compared to the Namekian as everyone else continues to pay close attention.
"I won't lie to you, this will likely be a near impossible fight, but the Earth is at stake and we're the only ones who have any chance of stopping these bastards," Piccolo finished with a scowl, his energy rising up in preparation for their attack.
"Well that sounds like a great plan guys! Best of luck to you, and if you don't mind, me and Puar will be supporting from a good distance away!" Bulma said hurriedly from the side, nervously taking several steps back as she begins to second guess her decision to come here in the first place.
Tien sees her and Puar swiftly take cover behind a large boulder and he frowns as he diverts his gaze to Chiaotzu, seeing the little warrior shivering in fear at the seemingly insurmountable odds.
"Chiaotzu, you should wait with Bulma as well, this fight may be too much for you my friend," Tien said in a concerned tone, trying to look out for his companion's safety.
Chiaotzu glances over to him in surprise before adopting a determined look, his little hands clenched at his sides as he doesn't move an inch.
"No Tien, I won't let you fight these monsters alone! I'm a fighter too and I want to protect my home!" he said firmly as he powered up as well, earning him a smile of understanding from his three-eyed friend who likewise envelopes himself in a white ki aura.
"Enough of this nonsense! You idiots can follow my lead as I take down Frieza!" Vegeta shouted out as his ki flared into life, the Saiyan prince launching himself into the air and making a speedy beeline towards the awaiting foes.
Piccolo and Gohan share a brief nod before they quickly shoot after their impatient ally, the four human fighters falling in close behind as they all head towards the impending encounter.
Bulma is left staring as the trails of energy from her friends dissipate overhead, and she nervously bites her lip as Puar hovers right next to her.
"So did you want to stay here for the whole fight Bulma?" the small cat asked as it looked down at the blue haired woman.
"Hmm, maybe we could find a better vantage point on one of those rock formations," Bulma said as she looked over at the several pillars of stone spread throughout the wasteland, and she begins jogging towards the tallest one that lay a short distance away, with Puar quickly following behind her.
Over at the alien spaceship, Frieza was standing there with a smug grin as he watched the scouters of his men light up in warning, the emperor chuckling in amusement as he correctly guessed what the alerts were for.
"It seems these Earthlings are far more bold than I initially expected! This is certainly far more convenient than having to hunt them all down!" he thought to himself as he saw several figures emerge from behind the nearby hills, seven warriors in total as they soon come over to touch down in front of him and his entourage.
"I'm guessing that these individuals are this planet's defenders? Quite the motley bunch if I do say so myself," King Cold commented with a bored expression, the large alien glancing between the diverse opponents with an unimpressed look.
"They're a lot more troublesome than they appear father. But with my new enhancements, I'll be more than capable of eradicating them myself!" Frieza said with a malicious smirk, his robotic arm flexing as a few small bolts of red electricity shot off of his body.
The humans and even some of Frieza's own soldiers react fearfully to his display, the only ones retaining their cool being the two figures standing right in front of him, being Vegeta and Piccolo.
"It's a good thing you got stronger Frieza because I myself have also gotten more powerful! So if you think a repeat of what happened on Namek is in order, then I'm afraid you're sorely mistaken!" Vegeta said confidently as he gestured at Frieza with a cocky grin.
For a brief moment a flash of worry comes over Frieza's expression before he quickly pushes it aside, knowing that unless Vegeta had reached Super Saiyan then he would pose no real challenge at all.
"Oh? Do tell me, have you also reached the Super Saiyan form? Or are you just blowing hot air as per usual?" Frieza said with an arrogant look, feeling confident that the prince would have been unable to gain that power in the year since their last encounter.
Vegeta doesn't respond immediately as he simply readies his fighting stance, the confidence in his movements never wavering as he stares down his hated adversary.
"I suppose you'll just have to find out for yourself then Frieza!" he said as he crouched down, his energy flaring and blowing fierce winds in all directions.
Frieza narrows his eyes at the Saiyan prince in order to ascertain whether he was bluffing or not, and to his annoyance he could find no breaks in his composure, causing the evil alien to growl in irritation.
"Frieza my boy, don't lose your head alright? The Saiyan who transformed before isn't here correct? So no doubt this one is simply bluffing in order to buy time for his comrade," King Cold drawled out, his expression remaining the same as he gestured nonchalantly towards Vegeta.
"Kakarot isn't coming, you hear me! I will defeat all of you by myself and no-one is going to deny me this!" Vegeta screamed in pure rage, the winds from before turning into gusts and sending several of Frieza's men tumbling backwards as the Earthlings simultaneously braced themselves against the sheer power that was emanating from Vegeta.
Frieza however narrows his eyes as he sees that Vegeta was becoming increasingly furious that everyone was comparing him to Goku, and he begins to feel his confidence return to him as he realizes that Vegeta was most likely trying to deceive him.
"Ha! Nice try Vegeta but I think we both know you aren't a Super Saiyan! After all I didn't blow up anyone you cared about for a transformation... if it was even possible for you to care about anyone besides yourself," he said scathingly, to which Vegeta suddenly roars as he charges at Frieza with a fist drawn, the Saiyan practically appearing in front of him as he lands a heavy blow to Frieza's cheek.
Frieza however is only pushed back slightly and he soon adopts a menacing grin as he quickly grabs a hold of Vegeta's hand and slowly pulls it away from his face, revealing to Vegeta's shock that the blow had hardly affected him at all.
"Oh I do think this will be a repeat of Namek my dear unfortunate prince," Frieza stated coldly as he then slammed his fist into Vegeta's stomach, causing the Saiyan to go hurtling backwards where he lands amongst the rest of the Earth's defenders.
Piccolo stares down at Frieza with an angered look before he then turns everyone else, all of them looking very apprehensive after what they had just witnessed.
"Stand your ground! We stick to the plan and we don't back down got it?" Piccolo yelled as the others, the Z Fighters briefly looking to him in surprise before they then adopt expressions of renewed determination, as Vegeta swiftly pushes himself back to his feet.
Then with a combined battle-cry all seven warriors charged the enemy forces, Piccolo and Vegeta rocketing towards Frieza as the rest closed in on the Frieza soldiers, the mixture of aliens looking momentarily concerned before they unleash yells of their own as they then move to engage the approaching foes.
King Cold just remains in place as Frieza leaps at his two opponents, the larger alien not seeing the need to partake in the uncivilized brawl.
"I do hope Frieza wraps this up quickly. I have a meeting with my advisors in a few hours and I'd hate to miss my own video conference," he thought blankly as energy beams and shouting erupted around him, the monarch barely paying attention to the surrounding fray as he stared up into the sky.
High up on one of the many pillars of rock overlooking the battlefield, Trunks laid down prone as he viewed the conflict raging below, the young man looking nervous as he watched his father and friends fight for their lives as well as the fate of the Earth.
"I really don't want to get involved. But if it's absolutely necessary then I will without any hesitation," he thought to himself in order to shake off his uneasiness, not particularly liking his previous decision to relegate himself to a spectator in this fight.
"I just hope Goku arrives soon to make sure that no-one dies! I'd hate to travel all the way to Namek right after everyone had just been revived," Trunks continued with a sigh as he shifted in discomfort, his fingers tapping on the hard rocky ground as he made sure to keep his ki from fluctuating due to his emotions, and accidentally revealing his presence.
Unnoticed by the young man however, a tiny object hovered several meters above his head, the small insect-like drone remaining stationary in the air as it too observed the battle taking place.
On closer inspection of the odd creature, a Red Ribbon Army insignia could be ever so faintly seen on it's metal frame, the optical lenses on it's front blinking red as it seemed to record everything that was currently occurring in the barren desert surrounding it.
A/N: Alright another chapter down, hopefully you guys enjoyed it and as per usual here's a few notes about the chapter here!
So I wanted to spend some time with Lapis and the rest of the gang at the start of this chapter, as I felt it was important to establish how things have changed for them since the last update and hopefully it wasn't too tedious to read or anything.
Also I know that it might seem a little sudden for Frieza to appear out of nowhere like that, but honestly I really wanted to just get into the next section of the story without feeling like I was dragging the plot down with too much characterization, so as you might have guessed the next chapter will be a fully fledged fighting segment, which I think will be good to see as the Z Fighters will actually have a decent fight with Frieza and his men this time around, instead of the one sided beat down that Trunks performed originally.
Anyway thanks for reading and do let me know what you thought of this chapter, Literal.
