I woke up to Effie saying "Big day big big big big big day" I rolled over and noticed Katniss was not next to me, I saw her sitting up on the bed rubbing the sleep from her eyes, Effie tells us to shower and get ready then come down to breakfast, so I generously allow Katniss to go first and fall back asleep, once she gets out I shower then we dress in plain black pants and solid blue t-shirts before heading out of the room for breakfast.
"So," Haymitch starts, yesterday we decided to plan our interviews with Peeta but then out of the blue Haymitch says, "Peeta would like to be mentored alone, I'm assuming you girls are okay with being mentored alone?" Katniss' look changes from relaxed to fiery in one swoop, she feels betrayed I know that without asking but I stare into her eyes anyway and communicate, "it's fine, this way we can have secrets too," I glance at the rest of her race and one look tells me it's not fine "Don't do anything stupid,". I turn to Haymitch, "Yes were fine with that," I give Katniss a firm don't cause problems look then I see her give Peeta the death stare so I have to excuse us to go to the bathroom and drag her out the room.
"KATNISS!" I practically scream once we're far enough away to have a conversation without being overheard, "What?" She replies calmly, "YOUR GONNA DO SOMETHING STUPID AND-," I take a deep breath and say, "It's not betrayal he probably just has some strategy he wants to keep private, don't look at me like that!" "Fine. I won't do anything stupid but I still am mad, she crosses her arms and stares at her feet so I just pull her back into the dinning room.
"And step and step," We've spent 4 hours working on how to walk like a lady how to have proper posture and I think Katniss is going to explode on Effie, finally she says,"Okay it's lunch time, after lunch you'll go to Haymitch to figure out what your going to say, then you go to your prep team for a few hours and finally you go to your interview, got it?" She asks us "YeS" Katniss responded sounding exasperated, Effie gives us an annoyed look then walks out of the room.
"Okay girls you need to have a style, a personality to play off of for our interviews," he said I could work as friendly but he wanted me and Katniss to be twins in-sync with everything we do so we have to be the same. Eventually he gave up saying we were two different and we might as well pretend to do something all though he didn't know what. I told I'm about Oak Tree, Oakey Jokey, KitKat, and Kitty Kat explains these as nicknames from when we were young, Haymitch eventually agreed to play us as adorable twins who are deadly.
