CHAPTER SIX
I was hoping that I could find something that would change me back.
I really wanted to believe in Jumin, but he was somehow connected to V who was with the crazy woman. He was really the only lead I had.
Unfortunately, my short adventure yielded nothing. Jaehee's desk was normal and all the documents were related to the company, except for several photographs of a man with silver hair and red eyes. He was very handsome, but I didn't see him at that terrible place, so as far as I knew, he was unrelated to them. Maybe he was Jaehee's boyfriend or husband.
As I continued to search, I found myself growing sleep and her chair was so comfy… Why was I sleeping so much?
It wasn't until she was in front of me did I wake up. The meeting was a little awkward, so I tried to make myself as cute as possible and was saved when Jumin called my name.
I happily ran up to him, rubbing against his leg, until he picked me up.
I had tried many times after to explore and eavesdrop, but each time was fruitless.
Everything was too well protected or just plain irrelevant.
As I perched on his shoulder, I watched him test his assistant. He was going to his vineyard soon – he has a vineyard? – and wanted her to look after us.
She didn't seem to like cats too much, so I didn't want to stay with her.
Jumin sighed, temporarily placing his phone down on to his lap.
I mewed, snuggling closer to him and looking at him with wide, pleading eyes.
"You don't want to stay with Assistant Kang?" He gently poked my nose, causing it to crinkle.
I shook my head, reaching out to boop back him on the nose as revenge.
He smiled. 'If I'm not careful, Elizabeth the 3rd will think that I'm picking favourites."
"Mew…"
For a moment, he pondered before letting out another sigh. "Just this one time. You can go with me, but you'll have to be good."
I nodded, purring happily at being able to have my way.
…
"Mr. Han, it is good to see you again." The caretaker bowed.
"Likewise. Thank you for taking such good care of this place," he replied, walking into the large, white estate.
I kept myself wrapped around him as he walked through different rooms, greeting everyone who was there before settling in the sitting room with a bottle of what I assumed to be very expensive wine in front of him.
He appeared more relaxed than I had ever seen him. It was a good change.
"Perhaps I should make wine for cats," he mumbled. "So you can enjoy this with me."
His long fingers soothingly raked through my fur and I happily purred in his lap.
Wine really wasn't my thing. I was much more content with just sitting here, being lazy.
"Sometimes, I really wish that you were human. It'd be… I would…" he sighed, rubbing his eyes. 'What am I even saying? I'm letting pretty boy's ridiculous dreams affect me. Even so, I can't help wondering… wishing…"
"Mew…" He wasn't involved. He couldn't be if he wished that I was human and I was glad, more so than I could express.
He had really grown on me – this cat-loving manic. I rubbed my head against his stomach.
He poured himself another glass and I could see a faint flush on his normally pale cheeks. How much was he going to drink? He was typically very strict with what he put in his body.
"My nutritionist would be disappointed with me," he sighed as if reading my thoughts. His eyes were glazed and sad.
I was not used to seeing this side of him. He always seemed so cool and collected, almost emotionless regarding everything, except Elizabeth and… and me. IT was probably because we were both cats.
I really shouldn't get ahead of myself, thinking there was anything special about me. If I wasn't a cat, he would never have paid any attention to my existence.
Shaking my head, I tried to rid myself of those strange, depressing thoughts. The reality was, Jumin Han was my owner and I was the stray cat he took under his wings, nothing less and nothing more.
Another glass was emptied and filled. He was definitely tipsy and bordering drunk, now.
"When I look at you…" He lifted me up until I was eye level. "I truly believe you can understand me. Not even… Not even Elizabeth the 3rd. No one else… Why…?"
I gently placed a paw on his cheek. I wanted so desperately to tell him that I could understand, but it was impossible and it was probably best if I just gave up and accepted my fate. "Mew…"
He hummed, holding me against his chest. "Stop looking at me like that. I can't… I can't…"
His hands fell slack and his head tipped down as I slid back down into his lap.
How could I not be sad? I felt so helpless in this state.
I wanted to help Jumin who had been so kind to me. I wanted him to find what he was looking for and feel comfortable in his own skin.
I could feel my vision blur as tears fell from my eyes.
Crying…?
I was crying?
I was never able to cry properly as a cat, so…
*POOF!*
I gasped as my perspective of the world changed. I was still in Jumin's lap, but I wasn't a small kitten anymore. I was almost face to face with him.
"J-Ju… Jumin…" I tested the name on my lips. It felt strange finally able to say it. "Jumin, w-wake up!"
I didn't have time to dawdle now! I needed to tell him what had happened to me and how one of his friends had been involved!
"Jumin!"
His story grey eyes slowly cracked open. "Hm?" A look of dazed confusion was clearly on his face. "Who… are you…?"
"It's me! A… C-Catherine!" This name didn't feel quite right, but it was the only one he'd recognise.
"Catherine the Great?" He frowned, reaching a hand up to my head and began to scratch something that made me purr.
Ahh… What…?!
I tried to stop him, but as soon as I felt two fluffy ears on my head, I gasped. I still had cat ears?
I looked behind me to see a swining white tail and my completely bare body.
I let out a shriek and tried to scramble away, but in one quick moment, he had me lying beneath him on the couch. "Jumin, s-stop…" I gasped as he continued to play with my ears.
It felt so good…
He smiled. It looked oddly ominous. Was he still drunk? "Who knew I'd be so affected by what he said? To dream of my very own cat girl…"
My eyes widened. "This isn't a dream! This is real! I'm Catherine, but I was turned int – "
His lips crashed down on mine, cutting off the rest of my sentence.
"Ngh…" I pushed against his chest, but it was no use. He may look skinny, but he was all tone abs beneath my hand.
I only managed a gulp of air before he claimed my lips once more.
His long fingers danced down my body, settling between my legs, and ran along my slit.
My back arched and I let out a moan at the unexpected sensation. Id idn't have any experience. I never knew it could feel like this…
"J-Jumin…!" I breathed, staring at those piercing orbs.
"Be a good girl," he murmured. "And I will be gently."
I began to tremble. He wasn't actually going to… to do that was he? I didn't want my first time to be like this! I wanted it to be special! I wanted us both to at least remember this!
He pressed himself against me, rubbing a very obvious bulge against my weeping core. "Catherine… My kitten, allow your master to make you feel good…"
He nibbled on a sensitive spot on my neck. 'I will take good care of you. I won't hurt you."
I sobbed, feeling conflicted.
On the one hand, this felt incredible and I wanted to know exactly what he could make me feel. On the other hand, I needed to remember my priorities. I had to snap him out of this and make him see reason because I didn't know if I was going to change back at any moment.
"W-Wait!" I gritted my teeth, willing myself to keep a clear head. "Wait, Jumin! Y-You have a message! Your phone!"
This was such a stupid plan, but my mind was so hazy. Maybe inebriated, it'd work on him.
"I don't care. They can wait." His hot breath brushed against my tender skin. "I have more important matters to tend to.
He shrugged off his suit jacket and began to loosen his tie.
I reached over to the glass coffee table and somehow managed to get my hands on his phone. "Wait! Please, I think it might be important. You should at least look at it!"
With a low growl, he quickly unlocked his phone to glance at the countless messages he tended to ignore.
"This is not the time. I don't want t – "
"Then, let me have a look!" I snatched the phone back to go on the mysterious messenger that I always saw him use. It was appropriately named Mystic Messenger.
Thankfully, it automatically logged in and there was a chatroom opened.
I opened it, while Jumin slid down my body. My legs twitched at the sensation of his mussed hair brushing against my inner thigh.
I ignored all the earlier messages to hurriedly text, but my hands were shaking so much that it was difficult to do it properly.
Jumin Han has entered the chatroom.
Jumin Han: Help me!
It's Cahterine!
ZEN: Have you finally lost it?
Inhaled too much cat hair?
Yoosung: uhh…
Jumin Han: Please! Iw as turned into a cat!
Jumin i sdrunk right now!
He wont listen t me
I turned back into a human but I'm still half cat!
Yoosung: Jumin is drunk?
ZEN: I told you
He's lost it
Jumin Han: No!
I'm Catheirne
Catherine
I'm human!
I clumsily struggled with the camera function. Unfortunately, the phone was taken from me before I could make sure that it was sent properly.
The phone was tossed carelessly behind me.
"Jumin…"
"That's enough. You are to call me master. A naughty kitten will be punished appropriately to teach obedience."
Was he serious? Was he actually going to punish me?
There was a jolt of fear. What was he going to do to me?
"Kitten…" He shifted his body to the right just before his eyes rolled back and he fell heavily on top of me.
What?
Did he just pass out?
I wiggled my way out and looked for the phone. Thankfully, it wasn't damaged, but when I tried to get in, it was locked again and he hadn't shown me the password.
"No…"
And as misfortune had it, I felt pain rack through my body before the world turned back.
