GloriousMagicDeathSpit - This isn't a roleplay, roleplays are two people or more going back and forth writing out a story by their actions in text-form. This is simply a story people enjoy and I enjoy writing, and I agree that roleplays are for fourms, which is why when I do roleplay, it's in fourms.
Songmistle - Thank you for the characters, but there is one thing I have to correct, as it can hurt people who see it and are actually transgender. Transgender means that the person was born one gender, and transitioned into another gender - like female to male or male to female. They don't switch back and forth, that's more like genderfluid, someone who uses more than one pronoun, or switches back and forth.
I know that you don't exactly know all these terms, which is fine that's why I had made the list of things in an earlier chapter, so don't worry about it. Just re-state it to what you want them to actually be, I think the only characters you need to re-state are Skipsong and Hilljump.

The sunlight poured through the branches and onto the forest floor. Small critters scuffled around in the bracken that layered the ground. Soft dirt was underfoot, and when she walked it left small prints in the soil.
Tail flicking from side to side she opened her jaws. Morning dew was covering any scents that was left furing the night, and it covered the fur on her legs. The forest that stretched out before her wasn't quiet, birds chriped, flies buzzed around her head, and the ferns were being rustled by mice and squirrels.
Although all this life surrounded her, she felt small and helpless, stuck in a place that was barren from the things she needed. And who to say that all these noises were really there? She couldn't see anything - nothing but the stretch if darkness that was threatening to choke her, smothering her under its tight grasp.
The golden she-cat started to turn, ears flicking backwards as her gut twisted. Something happened. This isn't a safe place. She felt her breath catch in her throat as her chest tightened.
"Hello?" She felt her breath go out in a breath of warm air. Suddenly she felt her thin coat go up in a chilling shiver. She felt her skin grow cold, like she was dropped into a freezing river. The young she-cat's breathing started to grow rapid. "Hello?"
Alone. The word hit her gut and chured her stonach. She could feel her empty stomach squeeze, and the realization that she was starving hit her. Alone. Cold. Hunger.
Jaws opening she could feel her throat close. As if jaws had clasped around her, sharp long teeth digging into her airways. "Hello? Hello!" The words were barely making their way out of her mouth, and she felt her legs start to give out as she felt her head spin-
"Leopardkit, wake up...wake up!" Jumping she stumbled to the side. Her legs were shaking, and her eyes rolled into the back of her head before she could make them stop and focus.
A tall mass of color blinded her. It was mixing with worry and fear that coaxed the air, making it harder to breath and think stright as the words continued to be screamed in her head.
A tail wrapped around her, dragging her to the warm side of someone. She didn't know who it was, but the warmth was inviting. "...It-it was only a dream." The tomcat's voice sounded familiar, and she blinked before being able to remember his scent.
The unusually spotted she-cat relaxed into his warmth. Even with her mind being foggy, she could remember who he was and why he was beside her The fight. Leopardkit didn't want to look up and see the giant mass of colors and hear all of their emotional buzz through her head.
Shadowpaw shifted, he gave off an uncomfortable, but worried, aura that made her start to grow back into her state of panic. "Hey, hey..."
"Is everything alright?" A new voice reached her ears. She rolled back a bit to see the violet and gray aura of another tomcat. "Shadowpaw?"
The dark ginger apprentice cleared his throat. "She started to panic," he explained, his ears flattened back, "can you..?"
"I'll calm her down." Meowed the new tom. She let them pick her up, legs swinging under her as she felt her light headedness start to calm down. "What happened?"
Shadowpaw twitched his tail. He sat down under the shade of a tree, his eyes wide as he tried to keep himself calm. "I don't know, exactly...she just woke up in a panic. Look - Indigopaw, can you just...?"
The white tomcat gave a low grunt. His ear twitched with irritation before he dipped down to get eye-level with the small kitten. "I can get you some thyme, but young kits probably shouldn't eat that..."
"I'm not young - I'm only a moon younger than Shadowpaw!" Snapped Leopardkit as she turned to look at the center of camp. Ignoring the pain that burst from her lungs and legs, she started to stumble towards the mass of auras.
Indigopaw quickly scooped her up. He turned her away from the mass of cats, his tail lashing. The two apprentices brought her to the back of the nursery, dropping her down into a patch of moss. "The warriors are talking, best you stay away from them right now." He meowed, his head shaking. "And how - I -" he sighed. "I know you're as old as Shadowpaw, we all were in the nursery together."
"I don't remember you." Sniffed the ginger-pelted she-cat. She remembered Shadowpaw, he was a quiet cat usually, but had moments of him being somewhat dramatic and hyper.
The tom nodded. "Well, I don't expect you to. I was apprenticed two moons before Shadowpaw."
Leopardkit swished her tail over her paws. She took in a deep breath, letting her head start to calm down as she relaxed. Indigopaw's aura was somewhat relaxing, and she could only remember hints of his scent that still clinged to the nursery walls.
That was over three, four, moons. Had she really ignored the white tomcat that long as to not remember him? She knew by that time she was somewhat conscious of the world, but maybe she hadn't been as much as she thought.
"How long have they been arguing?" Guilt started to pull at her stomach. She wanted to ignore the thoughts of her earlier kithood, but she didn't know if focusing on what was happening now was exactly a good idea.
Shadowpaw shifted in his spot. "Since you fell asleep," he muttered, his ears flattened. He looked tired - his head hanging low as he let his shoulders slump.
The small she-cat sighed inwardly. "And how long is that?" She wanted the answer, but at the same time she didn't. Maybe she could make herself think it was nothing but a few mere minutes. That she slept for a quick five minutes, the sun hadn't even moved a notch in the sky.
Course, she knew that was all a lie. Never has she taken such a short nap of five minutes. Even when she did she felt tired and weak in the legs, as if she never slept a wink. And the sun shined differently on her back. Its warm rays coming from almost a completely different direction.
Shadowpaw didn't answer for a good bit. He looked like he was in his own thoughts, quiet and somewhat folded into himself. "A few hours." Finally, he murmured, his head shaking.
Hours. That long? She wanted to lay down and never get up. How could they fight for hours on end - over something so dumb, like her? The white tomcat sighed as he laid his tail on her shoulder.
Leopardkit only hissed. She didn't need his pity, or Shadowpaw's for that matter. If they wanted to fight over her being in the Clan, than fine. Let them! It's not like im half-clan, or rogue or something! The anger swelled up before it boiled down to her having no more energy left.
Legs wobbling, she let herself curl back up. Dawnflame could only keep back the angry mess of cats for so long. Before long, she would be kicked out like a rogue kitten - she just knew it.
"The fight isn't about you anymore," Indigopaw meowed, "adults fight. That's all they are good at, this will die down."
The tomcat didn't speak anymore after she left silence in the air. Instead, he dipped his head to the ginger tom before trotting off. Saying he had business to get to before sundown.
Shadowpaw sighed. But he surprisingly didn't leave her. Instead he sat back down. His aura waving in uncertainty as he watched the warriors before them, their voices drifting over to the two of them every few seconds.
