A/N: Sorry for the super late update, guys! I've been super busy with school and haven't had a chance to write, I'm sorry...
Myrah frowned at the flickering light that shone through her hands. It was colored gold, the same as her hair, and as her violet eyes studied it, it seemed to shift and turn molten.
"Myrah-chan?"
Oops.
Right there, having watched her the whole time, was Toshi-nii. His face was frozen with surprise as he looked at the light coming from her hands.
"Toshi-nii, how do I turn it off?" Myrah's voice plaintively said, her lower lip trembling slightly.
Big brother panic moment.
"Hey, Hitoshi, Myrah, I got something I want to show-"
Oh snap.
…
Ochako grimaced slightly as she bandaged up her scraped leg. She'd been running from someone. And of course, she tripped.
"Ocha-chan?" Of course. Eri had to come right then.
The two had become inseparable, and Eri and Ochako both agreed it would probably be safer if they stayed together, for the time being.
(Of course, Ochako totally wasn't enjoying being a big sister figure. Nope, nilch, nada, never.)
"Oh no! H-how'd you hurt yourself, O-ocha-chan?" Eri blinked up innocently at the sheepish brown haired girl in front of her.
"I… It's kinda complicated, Eri…" Ochako smiled inwardly at the usage of Ocha-chan before continuing to bandage up her leg.
That was gonna sting for a while.
"On the plus side, I got you some new clothes!" Ochako added, diverting attention away from the subject of injuries.
Eri's eyes lit up. "Really?
The brunette produced a large shopping bag full of clothing and other articles that would be of use, like a toothbrush or a pillow. (Eri was going to get a full bed soon… it's just kinda hard to steal a mattress.)
Eri's eyes began to water suddenly, filling with tears. But her mouth was wide with a genuine smile. She nestled her face into Ochako's shirt, soaking it slightly.
"Thank you, Ocha-chan." Her voice was slightly muffled, but Ochako could hear the slight tremor in it.
Ochako hugged the little girl back. I'd probably die for this girl.
A short knock sounded on the door.
And a creature that had been seen by none before entered the room.
…
Tsukauchi cursed quietly under his breath, glancing at his watch. Still nothing.
As it turned out, All Might also had something to tell him, which would work out for him, but…
Days ago, a record of a young girl with white-blue hair simply vanishing was reported to the police station. Apparently, it was delivered by an anxious father, wanting to find his child.
The culprit was supposedly another young girl, who had brown hair and a gravity related quirk.
The thing was…
She was supposed to be dead.
Ochako Uraraka, age 14.
Child of the Urarakas, who owned a building company.
Ever since the unfortunate construction that killed Mr. Uraraka, the girl had been missing, so everyone had automatically assumed either she was dead or missing.
And…
After a couple months, she was presumed completely MIA.
But…
The father (who, now that he thought about it, seemed a bit off) had camera footage of the very same girl snatching the child up (who looked a little worse for wear) and disappearing.
It didn't make sense.
None of it did.
But there was one thing Naomasa Tsukauchi could say for sure.
This was only the beginning.
