Blue Bloods - Season 12 -6 - Danny and Maria
With the wedding over and Danny and Maria spending their night at the Waldorf thanks to Grandpa Henry….. All the remaining Reagan's including dates gather for the Traditional Sunday Dinner.
Frank: To my beloved grandchildren…. I've missed you at this table…. You brought great insight as to how this new generation thinks. To your guests, Jimmy and Sandy …. Welcome… I hope to get to know you …. Since my grandchildren invited you... you must be special to them….. To Jack ….. second chances don't come to often…. Make the most of it…. In that vain…. Erin and Nikki both look to Jack with a smile as Jack leads them in prayer.
Henry: I hope that this wasn't the last wedding I got to see…. But if it was… it was something… Danny and Maria made our family proud… All of you kids have made the Reagan name mean something…. Remember to keep the traditions handed down from my great grandfather and learn to stay together if not in location , but family love.
Frank: Pop … from what I'm seeing … you haven't seen your last
Danny and Maria walk in to make their appearance before they catch their flight to Cancun
Danny: we couldn't leave without thanking you ….. these past two weeks have been something I couldn't have imagined, let alone gone through alone…. I love all of you….. You Jack make my sister as happy as Maria has made me.
Maria: When Danny first brought me here months ago, I was so nervous…. I had no idea what to expect…. I've never received the love from a family that I have received with you. So when we come back, I hope you like Mexican food, because that will be my contribution to Sunday Dinner… again thank you and I love all of you very much
The family recount all their favorite moments of the Wedding and then Danny and Maria kiss everyone goodbye and head to the airport for their 5 hour flight to Cancun.
With 5 hours to kill on the plane Maria and Danny have the one on one time to talk of the past, present and future
Maria: Danny Reagan you are certainly one of a kind…. When did you think about your vows to me ….. do you really believe that Linda would be happy giving you to me
Danny: You know me… if I over think anything…. I'll screw it up…. I'm the guy that goes by the seat of his pants… If I didn't believe it ….. I wouldn't have said it….. Yes , Linda would approve of you, because you love me the way Linda did, unconditionally.
Maria: I've got to tell you something…. Which will be strange coming from me especially when I got upset at Maggie Gibson telling you the future….. I had a dream that Linda came to me and made me promise that when I married you, my love for you would never let you down. I really was born to be your wife
Danny: how am I going to keep my hands off of you for the duration of this flight
Maria: it's called patience…. I mean I'm the perfect example of patience. Do you think it was easy for me not to grab you these past 23 years. At least now you know what will be waiting for you as soon as we get into our room. There are some other surprises I've got in store for you.
Danny: that's the problem….. knowing makes it even harder and I mean that literally. If I close my eyes , your naked body is the first thing that pops up.
Maria: let's change the subject, I'm getting wet
Stewardess comes by and asks if they would like a snack and a beverage… she gives Danny his coke and Maria her bottle water along with the complimentary nuts… this gets them distracted from their arousal talk.
Maria: When I look at this beautiful ring …. I still can't believe it all happened… Tell me did you ever in the past five years after Linda's death ever want to come to me
Danny: The want... many times… the will… I couldn't …. I would never be one of those that would just use you and I felt that I would be cheating….. When I look at this ring on my hand… I can tell you for certain it will never come off my hand, even if you should go before me…. I couldn't handle loosing you
Maria: you're my first and you will be my last… that I'm certain of…. Let's not talk of that… we are on our honeymoon…. This week will be just us… no work…. Relaxing, making love, sight seeing, making love , and just making love whenever the mood suits us.
Danny: Let me get this strait…. Making love was in there….. The passenger across the aisle couldn't help overhearing : newly weds... and gives a thumbs up
Maria: I almost forgot this is a full flight ….. I'm going to take a nap and dream of what's to come.
After their flight meal Maria continues to sleep on Danny's shoulder as Danny also doses off. The next several hours pass when the captain comes on the loud speaker.
Captain: This is your captain…..we are approximately 30 minutes away from our landing destination of Cancun. Please place your trays upposition and your seast upand locked position and fasten your seatbelts as we prepare for landing….. It has been our pleasure to serve you and we at American Airlines which you a pleasant stay in Cancun….. We hope to see you again
Maria grabs Danny's hand and gives him a kiss on the cheek
Once they land and get their luggage, the shuttle to the Hyatt Ziva awaits them .
The Hyatt Ziva is at the farthest point on the Cancun Peninsula giving perfect view of the Ocean on all sides….. Once in there room they both begin to undress and make love to relieve the frustration of the 5 hour anticipation. Maria realizing that Danny is very pale will easily burn with this ocean breeze puts sun screen all over his body. Lying completely naked herself….. Maria lets Danny have his fun messaging her naked body with lotion before she puts on the skimpy bikini that Danny has never seen her in.
Danny: your going out like that
Maria: why… you don't like it
Danny: I love it …. But so will every other guy
Maria: Danny … this is Cancun… it's common place…. Your head will turn when you see some of the women here…. I'll wrap a towel around me until we get to the ocean…. This place is gorgeous…. Gives him a kiss ….. Thank you for picking it
Danny: It looks the way it did when i saw it on line
Maria: did you pick it because of all the skimpy bikini's …. You can tell me
Danny: Hyatt's advertising makes sure that there are plenty of them in those photos… can't have one without the other
Maria: You got around that question…..didn't you
Danny: Look at you…. You'll be in their next photo shoot so some other guy will have to answer the same question
Maria: Come on we didn't fly all this way to just stay in our room…. Lets go walk the beach and swim in the ocean
They walk hand in hand on the white sand beaches surrounding the resort hotel.
Danny: New York Beaches are nothing like this
Maria: Mexico has some fabulous beaches
Danny: Did you ever come here
Maria: If you meanCancun ... No... I still have some distant relatives, but there in the poor areas of Mexico… nothing like this…that's why my mom couldn't believe that I would have a wedding that we had, that I would become a member of a prominent New York Family especially an Irish family… down here it's either your rich or your poor
Danny: My family is far from rich
Maria: I know that… but the Reagan's are well respected… the poor down here aren't respected… there just used… how did I drift into this topic… I'm Danny Reagan's wife and that's all that matters to me
Maria pulls Danny into the Ocean waves and kisses him as they go under water. Danny picks her up and then lunges her into the ocean… They continue to play like two teenage kids after a while they lay on the shoreline letting the waves splash them. After several hours , Maria sees that Danny is getting red while she is turning brown.
Maria: Danny, I think we better get you out of the sun for a while…. You're getting red …. Does it hurt
Danny: No ….. it doesn't, but look at you… you're already brown
Maria: I tan very easily…. Some advantage to being Mexican
They go back to their room and take a shower together, to get all the saltwater off of them….. Danny is so turned on by Maria's tan lines that he lifts her leg over his hip and enters her.

After the wedding Joe had a strange conversation with Amy which now puts him in a situation that he needs to do some soul searching… Flashback to that conversation

Are you edging to hook up with me when the mood suits you or the mood suits me, you know that Friends with Benefits kind of thing…. But most importantly do you trust me
Joe: Ever since the Academy …. You've been special to me….
Amy: special…. But not special enough to tell me who your family was… were you ashamed to be a Reagan…. From what I saw today…. They are quite a family… that's why my dad thinks the world of them
Joe: up until 6 months ago they didn't even know I existed…. Sean my cousin, Danny's son did Ancestry search and found me. My father had a one night stand with my mother and I was born. My mother never told my father about me and when he was killed…. She kept him dead to me. I'm not ashamed but I needed the time to understand how I fit in with them
Amy: from what I saw you fit in already… but why didn't you tell me any of this… if I was special to you…. You know when you came back from this undercover operation…. I missed you so much that I was ready to go to the next level…. After hearing the story of your uncle and new Aunt and those words of Father Quinn…. I have to rethink things
Joe: What do you have to rethink
Amy: What are we …. I think you need to do the same…. If we are just friends … that's all we will be…. But if you still believe that I'm special to you… you're going to have to prove it and show me…. Because right now I don't trust you
Joe is taken back by this… he can't believe that Amy doesn't trust him and that he may loose her. Joe decides to ask his uncle Jamie for advise since Jamie was his handler these past 6 months undercover. Jamie makes some time for him during the middle of the week.
Jamie: Joe what's the problem…. How can I help you
Joe: Uncle Jamie… you know Amy that I introduced you to at the wedding… ever since the academy she has been my go to girl ….. I really like her and I thought she liked me
Jamie: so what's the problem….
Joe : After the wedding, when I took her home … she asked me …. What are we….. are we friends or more than friends
Jamie: I can tell you every Reagan woman has asked that question…. What you say determines if she becomes a Reagan woman. The questions you need to ask yourself what is she to you… If all you want is to be friends with her …. That's simple … be friends and she can go find her special guy… if she is special to you and you don't want to loose her… then you have to make her feel that way and commit to her… that she is the one for you. Question is are you ready for that … finding the right woman can be tricky especially a Reagan woman. Here's what I can tell you… we've all gone through that… I was engaged before I met Eddie and Eddie was my partner and I had to answer that question. Danny had Linda for 17 years…. Maria loved Danny that whole time and never once admitted that to him until just now. Your father never got the question, because your mother never asked him. My sister Erin just asked that question to Jack. Think wisely and you will have your answer and your girl if she is the one for you.
Tonight is Eddies night to romance Jamie. Eddie gets her idea from Maria who sent pictures of them visiting The Aztec ruins in El Rey and Tulum. One of Maria's favorite movies was Against All Odds… with Jeff Bridges and Rachel Ward …. The Scene in the movie that Maria wanted to replicate was when Rachel Ward found a secluded spot inside the Ruins where no one could see them and made love to Jeff Bridges…
Maria texted Eddie : Danny was so nervous that we would get caught but it was worth it …. We are having the time of our life … I can wait to show all the pictures…. You need to have Jamie bring you here
Eddie found a DVD of Against All Odds and has it ready to play after they have their dinner. As Jamie is resting on the couch , Eddie goes into the bedroom changes into the skimpiest Bikini she could buy and then turns the Blue Ray player with the remote and dims the lights in the room as she walks in and walks in front of their big screen so that the only lighting is on Eddie's body. Jamie is impressed and very aroused in that Eddie does her sexy walk towards him and Jamie can't help but make love to her. In Cancun Maria and Danny have had their dinner and then decide to walk the fabulous grounds of the Hyatt Ziva in the moonlight… everywhere they turn they see something different…. Tonight they notice a nighttime wedding in the glossing white cabana right at the Ocean edge with the reflection of the moon in the waters.
Maria: This is a fabulous place to have a wedding… but I wouldn't trade ours at all… ours was perfect… Danny I almost don't want to go back but in a few days we must
Danny: let's just keep enjoying it…. You continue to amaze me
Maria: Danny… I've been so happy that I had another dream
Danny: What dream ….. what was it about
Maria: Linda once again came to me…. This time she was holding a beautiful baby girl and then she handed her to me. She said her name is Danni and she can't wait to meet her mommy and daddy
Danny: Are you pregnant?
Maria: I don't think so …. I don't feel any different…. Danny….. did my dream upset you
Danny: No … it's just a dream
Maria: Are you sure…. I just thought that when we talked about a baby you were OK with it.
Danny: Everything happens for a reason, especially with us ….. if we're meant to have a baby … it will happen…. I don't want you to worry about it…. We are on our honeymoon and we still have a couple of days left…. Let's enjoy them.
Danny and Maria continue to take in some of the sights like the Under Water Museum which is and Under Sea Art exhibit. Maria continues to send pictures to Eddie with the countdown till when they will be home. Even though Maria has been concerned that the baby dream may have spoiled the mood…. They still took advantage of their surroundings and made unrestrictive love with each other.
On the Plane back to New York ….. Danny shares his dream to Maria
Danny: I know you've been thinking that sharing your dream spoiled things….. but I can promise you it didn't. What it did do is put the thought of the possibility…. In fact … I had a dream about that possibility… How would I be as a father to a little girl…. Any way a little girl appeared to me in a dream…. She was beautiful…. Black hair… big blue eyes and the prettiest smile…. She didn't say anything , but smiled at me…. I don't know if this dream is telling both of us something, but if that's our daughter…. She will melt hearts
Maria: Danny … thank you for telling me…. I've been so worried…. But I really want to be a mother… especially to your child.
Danny: being a dad to a girl is different to being dad to boys… Erin was always the special one to my dad….. She could do no wrong…. While the three of us were always told to be tuff and strong like men are suppose to be … Erin was always daddy's little girl…. Even Nikki got preferential treatment from all of us
Maria: I'm glad you had that dream …. I feel so much better
