After getting healed up and doing a long day of school, he went home and rested. He woke up an hour or two later, and he ate dinner. "I've got a special surprise for you!" His mother said, "Oh, what is it?" "Well, I contacted UA, and they let me have your hero costume early!" She pulled a dark blue suit out of a box. "Woah! That's awesome! I know I already knew the design when I sent it in, but it's so much cooler up close and real!" "Oooh, 'm so happy that you're happy!" His costume was stretchy for when he bulks up, and more plain so nothing breaks with his quirk. He had a two part mask, similar to Deku's, that clipped together. "Ooooo, you should go try it on!" His mother was very excited. The next day, back in class, Akuno was exhausted. He had spent the night before training privately with Eri. "Now that everyone has their hero costumes, it's time we all go to the training facility we'll be training at today." Eri had barely walked in the room before she started talking. "Put on your costumes, and meet at Training Ground Beta." Walking into ground beta, with his suit newly put on, Akuno pulls up the two parts of his mask, and clips them together. "Alright, for this test, you will be assigned teams of two, and you will be battling in a building. One team will be the heroes and one will be the villains. The villains have a nuke, and if the heroes can touch it, or immobilize the villains, they win, however, if the heroes run out of time, or are restrained by the villains, they will lose. You will be given capture tape, and if you wrap it around someone, they're out." Water Jet was standing over two boxes, one labeled villains, and one labeled heroes. "There will be 5 matchups, picked randomly from these two boxes. After all the matchups were picked, Akuno was with Nomusko Kaminari, and against Katasan Ashido and Kaerujes Asui. Nomusko has a quirk that allows him to shoot electrical cords from his fingers, Katasan can create a goo that can harden, and Kaerujes has the quirk of frog. Akuno and Nomusko were the heroes and were the second matchup.
