Part 6 - A Year Later!
A year had passed since the phone and her telling their friends of her story of life was like before she came back into Eddie and his family's life and here they both were, still going really strong and now ready for the next step in their relationship, getting married with his friends and siblings as their guests, her father had gotten an invite same with her mother, but neither had answered so they took it as no they weren't going to come to her wedding and Matthew had told her that he was honoured to take her down the aisle instead of her father. It hurt but she had no time for it as the day got nearer as time gone on.
And there it was, the day of their wedding, July 1st, and it was going to be a very beautiful, happy day for all of them, as the parents' of the Spears were also going to be in it, by being mentioned in their vows. The two now stood at the altar, as their priest said;
"Isabella, say after me I, Isabella Marie, take thee Edward Noah Spears as my husband, lover and best friend, until the day we pass on"
"I, Isabella Marie, take thee Edward Noah Spears as my loving husband, lover and best friend until the day we both pass on to next life"
"And I, Edward Noah Spears, take thee Isabella Marie as my loving wife, lover and best friend until the day we pass on?"
"I, Edward Noah Spears, take thee Isabella Marie as my loving wife, lover and best friend until the day we both pass on to next life." Everyone smiled in the crowd, as newcomers who heard their vows, and kept quiet for now as they then heard Isabella say;
"I today take my Edward as my loving, caring and supportive husband, as we go into new stage of our relationship built on trust and love, and I hope he will be a great father of our children one day, as I know he is already a great uncle to his nieces and nephews, that we both already love and care alot for. Eddie, baby, you and I are forever together and will be so until our dying days. I love you."
He smiled through his own tears, as he said;
"I today take my Isabella as my loving, caring and supportive wife, as we go into a new life and stages of our relationship that we built on trust and love for each other, and I hope one day soon we both will be great parents of our own children, as I know you will be a great mother, much better than your own mother ever was to you, and we both will be better than your parents once were, as you are a great auntie for our beautiful nieces and nephews. Isabella, I love you more than ever, and I will do so until our own dying days. "
Both of them were crying of happy tears for their vows meant alot to them both. The priest blessed them with his prayers and then their shaman and tribal leader also blessed them with the powers of their own gods and beliefs in the tribal history. Bella and Eddie were happy to have those too over them, as they now know they were together for life to each other no matter what.
Soon after that the priest said in prideful voice;
"Edward, you may now kiss your wife." The two pulled each other into each other's arms and kissed, as the priest said over the cheers;
"Please welcome, Mr and Mrs Edward Noah Spears!" All cheers, whistled or clapped happily of this union. And soon came all hugs and kisses of everyone there to see it happen, as Bella looked out to the crowd and saw her parents and Jacob of all people there, and they didnt look happy at all, as all varied from red to purple tint in their faces. Bella just shook her head and turned to Matthew who lifted her up in the air as it was tradition in their tribe to celebrate a new member that was married into the family of the man, to be lifted and carried onto the shoulder of the father or eldest brother. Eddie was also lifted in the air by Michael on his shoulder too. Then the two shared another kiss in the air at this point, forgetting who also had come to the wedding. And they all just had fun for now with celebrating their new status and marriage with great food, music and drinks.
The kids of the Spears' siblings came forward and hugged both auntie and uncle tightly or kisses on their cheeks. Bella and Eddie shared a look of happiness of their new status and life began today of their wedding and anyone who even tried to destroy it would pay dearly. After a while, the cheers and music had calm down, and the two sat with the family talking and sharing things, when a voice said;
"Isabella Marie Swan, what the hell?" Bella looked up, as everyone else looked on in sheer shock of the audicity, but Bella just said;
"First, dad, mom and Jacob Black, I am not a Swan anymore, as of today I am legally known as Isabella Marie Spears, or in Lakota Woman Of Plenty Talents, as it was the name, that my late father-in-law, Patrick Spears gave to me when I became a member in their tribe many years ago."
They all looked shocked of her admission, while others looked on with pride and happiness to hear her strong voice and what she told her parents and this Jacob boy that had apparently come with them.
"So any plans of destroying our day or this, is now long gone of being able to, as of this morning my name was changed to Spears and I am very HAPPY woman. That can be with a man who I love more than ever and can feel safe with for once. Just get lost and move on. You have lost me for good."
They all looked shocked of this, and left the sight with hunged heads, and Bella just shook her head and turned to Eddie, who just pulled her into a very heated kiss which she clearly responded to aswell. Others just cheered and clapped at the two, both for the kiss and the confrontation.
After eating their cake and a few more dances, the two then left for their honeymoon, that they chose to be nearby town of Pierre, as they wanted to be close if necessary or emergency comes up, for you never know if they do or not. But they were staying at a rental cabin in the woods for 2 weeks. Which was great too.
