1 week later...
"No. No no no no no. This is. All my. Mostly my fault." Lucina said as she was walking in the forest. Stressed out after finding out she was pregnant.
When Lucina found out she was pregnant with Inigo's child. She had been avoiding him no matter what. Not wanting to see him or talk to him at all. Worried Inigo would freak out.
"I can't tell him. Who else can I tell?" Lucina asked lying back against a tree. "Father and mother will kill Inigo if they find out."
Lucina then stopped cold. She wasn't ready to be a mother. She didn't know if Inigo was either. She was scared, no. Horrified.
Inigo did start up the idea of then having sex. But Lucina complied and pulled his clothes off. She remembers exactly every part of that night.
Lucina had no one to blame but herself. That's what she said to herself again and again.
The Ylissean princess decided to try and calm down. So she went to a nearby river to try and feel the water. And listen to it's calm stream like sounds. To soothe her feel and mind.
"Gawds, where did I put it?" Severa asked searching around the tent. Looking for a specific object. Clearly it wasn't going well due to Severa's complaining.
"God. I can't find it. Where is it?" Severa said. As she accidentally then stubbed her toe without looking.
"Ow!! Fuck!!" Severa yelled out as she grabbed her foot and hopped on the other. "That really hurt!!"
"What's with all the yelling?" Morgan asked as she walked into the room. Wondering what all of Severa's yelling was for. "Severa are you alright?"
"Yes! I'm fine!" Severa exclaimed still hopping on her foot. "Ow Ow fuck!!"
"Doesn't seem like your fine!" Morgan frowned at Severa. Who stopped hopping and stroked her leg.
"Ahh. Gods Morgan. Sorry." Severa said. Giving her apologies to Morgan. Which was rare for the candy haired mercenary. "I was looking for something and I stubbed my foot. Who put a shield on the ground right there?!"
"Probably Noire. She is quite forgetful." Morgan pointed out. As Severa nodded. "Or me or Marc. We did kinda have amnesia."
"Funny, considering you remembered that." Severa smirked. As Morgan rolled her eyes. A huge rumble then erupted from Severa's stomach. As she grabbed it with both her arms and bent down.
"Oh crap! I gotta use the bathroom!" Severa exclaimed running out of the tent. "Curse you Cynthia and your shitty cooking!"
"Don't crap yourself again!" Morgan called out laughing. Only to hear a "fuck you" from Severa.
Morgan looked around the room. "Marc you in here?"
"How'd you know?" Marc asked coming out from behind a pile of weapons.
"Come on, we were birthed from the same mother. I'm smart too ya know." Morgan said. "But what are you doing here?"
"I was waiting for Nah." Marc said. As Morgan raised her eyebrow at him. Not believing her twin brother. "Fine I was hoping Lucy would come back, I hope she's okay."
"I haven't seen her for a while. She's been gone for hours." Morgan nodded. "I really do hope she'll be fine."
"Has father gotten the letter yet?" Marc asked. As his twin sister shook her head.
"No, if so he probably would've responded by now." Morgan said. "I hope they're doing alright. I miss them."
"I know, me too." Marc said. He missed both of his parents. The last few weeks had been rough. Especially for Lucina. Who had been nothing but a sick and stressed out mess. "I wonder where Lucy is."
"I wonder too, think we took it a bit too far?" Morgan asked.
Marc shrugged. "She was very angry with us. I bet she still is." Marc looked outside to see Inigo lying against a tree. Still knocked out after Morgan punched him in the face. "I don't really know what Lucina sees in him, he's nothing but a philanderer."
"Hey, I mean, you two were friends in our timeline weren't you?" Morgan asked causing Marc to look up with his eyes showing realization. "You two were really good friends. You were shy like how he used to be."
"I-I wasn't that shy!" Marc blushed. Morgan gave Marc an curious smile. As she also raised an eyebrow.
"Come on Marc, I've seen you hide from Nah at times." Morgan smiled. "Like how Yarne hides from me."
"I-guess your right." Marc rubbed the back of his head. He and Morgan looked at the unconscious Inigo and both gained sad expressions.
"I think we went a bit too far." Morgan said. "Both Inigo and sis were a bit foolish doing so, but..."
"I think we should apologize to both Inigo and Lucy." Marc said. "I'm sure we could talk with mom and dad, figure it out."
Morgan nodded to her twin brother. "Yeah, should probably go wake him up first."
And so, both twins got up and walked out of the weapons tent to wake up the grey haired dancer.
On the other side of the mountain. Chrom was in the strategic tent with Robin. As they were planning for the next march. Strategizing and reading each map and plan carefully. When suddenly the two were interrupted by Vaike.
"Scuse me you two lovebirds." Vaike said. "Me and my wife were just strolling around camp, when a girl caught our eye."
"Cheating on your wife already Vaike?" Chrom asked.
"No! The Vaike would never cheat on his wife! The Vaike loves his wife!" Vaike exclaimed. "We found this girl though, she took interest in Maribelle. Said she liked her hair."
"Is she lost?" Robin asked.
"Dunno, said she was looking for her parents. Said she also knew us." Vaike shrugged.
"Here she is darling." Mariabelle said walking into the tent. With a teenage girl standing next to her. Maribelle was holding the girls arm tightly. The girl had shaggy longish dark blue hair, white boots, white gloves, and a sort of puffy kind of outfit. With a black piece covering the torso of her body. She had a sheathed sword attached to her belt and a shield on her arm.
The girl was blushing at Mariabelle holding her arm tightly. Possibly because the girl was flirting with her.
"I have found the lost girl. She said my hair was pretty." Maribelle stated as she looked at the girl. "Now then, Vaike and I shall leave you. Come husband."
Vaike nodded with a grin as the two left the tent. The girl glanced up at Robin and Chrom. As she smiled.
"Hello!" She exclaimed. "It's so nice to finally mee-I mean see you after all this time!"
"See us? Excuse me but do we know you?" Chrom asked as she shook his hand rapidly.
"Oh Right! Different timeline!" The girl then cleared her throat. "How exactly do I put this? Well you both see um. Im Soleil! I'm your granddaughter from the future!"
The news came as a shock to both Chrom and Robin. Who's eyes widened and their mouths went agape. As the married king and queen looked at each other. And then back at Soleil.
"So. Our granddaughter..." Robin said. The tactician trying to comprehend what she just heard. "From...the future!"
"Yup! I even have the brand to prove it!" Soleil said as took off her right glove and pulled up her sleeve. Revealing the mark of the Exalt on her hand. "Right there!"
Chrom took a careful look at the mark to make sure it was real. He touched it and felt it and yep. It was the real deal.
"So, you are our granddaughter." Chrom said. "It is nice to meet you Soleil." Soleil hugged both Chrom and Robin.
As she then let go she said. "I missed you both! But a quick question, do you know where my mother and father are? I really wanna see my present self be born!"
"Wait, who are your parents?" Robin asked.
"Well, my mother and my father are—oh no! I have to find them fast! I'm gonna be born soon!"
That last part made Chrom and Robin looked at each other in worry.
"Wait, your being born soon? When?!" Robin asked.
"Oh about 8 or 7 months. Next year." Soleil smiled.
Chrom was worried now. Morgan or Lucina was pregnant? Who did this? When did this happen? He needed answers right now!
That's when Frederick walked in with a letter in his hands.
"Milord, me and Cherche have found a letter addressed to you." Frederick stated handing Chrom the letter. "It is from your daughter."
"Thank you Frederick." Chrom nodded as he took the envelope. As his loyal knight left the tent.
Chrom opened the envelope with ease as he took out the letter. He began reading.
"Dear father and mother, I miss you both. It has been crazy without you and everyone else. But we've been holding our own thankfully. I think Yarne's starting to open up to me! Alright enough about me, everyone else is doing fine here. But there's something I need to tell you. Please don't freak out but this is very important. Inigo got Lucina pregnant! She has been for about 1 or 2 months now! I swear I don't know how it happened but Marc and I beat up Inigo for it. Lucy was really angry when she saw and heard. She's been depressed and stressed out for so long now. I swear I don't know what she sees in Inigo. I hope to meet up with you all again. Love, Morgan"
After Chrom read the entire letter in his head. He was glad to hear that the future children and his children were okay. But that one line in the letter really started to fume him.
"Inigo got Lucina pregnant." Chrom mumbled to himself. "Inigo got Lucina pregnant."
"What did you say Chrom? What does the letter say?" Robin asked as Chrom in anger put the letter in his wife's hands. Surprising Robin. "Ch-Chrom?"
"Pregnant Robin! Lucina is pregnant!" Chrom exclaimed. "This letter from Morgan told me that Lucina is pregnant! With Inigo's child!"
Robin's eyes widened. "WHAT?! No, Morgan has to be joking."
"You know Morgan's jokes are terrible!" Chrom exclaimed. "That bastard! How long has this been going on for? Is that why Lucina threw up in battle? Oh my poor girl, I'm going to kill Inigo!"
"Chrom, I think we should take this a different way-" Robin's sentence as interrupted as Chrom glared at her.
"There is no other way to settle this Robin! Inigo needs to pay! Get the Shepherds. We are moving." Chrom said as he left the tent.
"Oh my, so it is true! I'm going to be born soon!" Soleil exclaimed with a little bit of happiness. "I hope I can see mother and father again. Come on grandmother! Let's go follow father!"
"Oh Soleil, your father might die." Robin thought to herself hoping Chrom wouldn't kill Inigo.
Morgan and Marc were trying to wake Inigo up. As they kept touching his head. Hoping by some miracle that the dancer would wake up after they knocked him out again earlier that day.
After 3 minutes of head poking it didn't work. Morgan got an idea. As she took out a tome book.
"Let's use this book to wake him up." Morgan said. She opened the book and began casting a spell. But before she could cast the tome. Her twin brother stopped her.
"I don't think we should curse him." Marc said. "But we could hit him with the book."
"Great idea! Should we use mine?" She asked as Marc shook his head and took out his tome book.
"No, mine has a hard cover." Marc said as he then whacked Inigo with his hard notebook. Which caused the dancer to wake up.
"Ah! What the-?" Inigo stopped as he saw Morgan and Marc. "Did you two hit me?"
"Yeah um, Inigo. We have something to tell you." Morgan said. "You see, we want to apologize, for beating you up."
"Yeah, I think we went too far, Lucy was very angry." Marc said. "You absolutely messed up, but I think we took it too far. And I guess we didn't take into account that it was also Lucina's decision."
"It..it's alright you two. It was mostly my fault. If not all. Wait, what did I do?" Inigo asked. "I remember me and Lucina doing….it that night. But why is she so upset?"
Morgan and Marc looked at each other. Guess they knocked him out too hard.
"Well, the thing is Inigo. You see, you and Lucy." Marc couldn't tell him that Lucina was pregnant with Inigo's child. He just couldn't bring himself to do so. "I think we should let Lucina tell you."
"She's at the river nearby. I think you should go talk to her." Morgan said. As Inigo nodded. The dancer got off of the ground and ran out to the location of the river.
Lucina sat near the river. Head in her knees and tears in her eyes.
"He'll leave me, he'll freak out and abandon me. I'll be all alone." Lucina kept telling herself. Hoping it wouldn't be true. She needed someone at that moment. She needed Inigo desperately.
That's when Lucina heard footsteps coming from behind her. She was a bit relieved and worried at the same time when she saw who it was behind her.
It was none other than Inigo. As he looked at Lucina with serious eyes and sat next to her.
"I-Inigo? Is that you?" Lucina asked as before she could speak anymore as Inigo gave Lucina a hug bigger than any other hug the two had embraced before.
"Yes Lucy, I'm here for you. Don't worry, everythings alright." Inigo said as Lucina cried into his chest and as he stroked her hair.
"I-Inigo!" Lucina said, continuing to cry into his chest. "There...there's something I need to tell you, it's very important."
"Yes, Morgan and Marc told me you needed to tell me something." Inigo said as Lucina stopped crying into his chest and they both looked each other in the eyes. "There's no need to cry Lucy. What is the matter?"
"Inigo, I um well you see. I um." Lucina stuttered but then spoke up. "I'm pregnant."
The news came as a surprise to Inigo. In a way. But he also had something to say.
"Lucy, I. I sort of knew." Inigo said. Which came as a surprise to the princess.
"What!?" Lucina exclaimed at her boyfriend. "I don't understand! You….knew?"
"More of a feeling than anything else." Inigo admitted with a shrug. "I thought about it. Your morning sickness, your cravings, and the mood swings. It all made sense. I'm so sorry Lucina."
Lucina's eyes started to well up with tears. As she cried again. Inigo wiped her tears with his hand as he looked at her.
"Everything is going to be alright Lucina. I'll always be here with you. Pregnant or not, you will always have me. I love you." Inigo said as he wiped more of her tears.
"Oh Inigo!" Lucina cried as she rushed her face into his and kissed him so hard that Inigo was beyond surprised. Lucina closed her eyes tightly as the tears continued to descend from her eyes. As they fell into a deep kiss. Both passionate about their love. Not stopping for the world or anything.
The two ended their kiss. As they looked at each other with both blushing pink and smiling sadly.
Inigo noticed that Lucina had a dagger hidden in her hands.
"Lucy, why do you have a dagger?" Inigo asked. As he looked at her desperate and sad eyes. "Lucina, we're you planning on..."
"I. I would never! But it seemed...very tempting. But I didn't want too! I promise!" Lucina exclaimed as she stabbed the dagger into the ground. "I know you all need me."
"It's alright Lucy. Everything's okay." Inigo hugged him. He then looked at her stomach. It had a small but visible bulge. As he smiled down at it. "Heh, little thing." Inigo then poked it a little. As Lucina blushed and slapped him.
"Ow." Inigo said looking at Lucina. Who was smiling deviously. "What was that for?"
"Getting me pregnant, and poking my stomach without permission." Lucina laughed as Inigo laughed with her. The two then stood up.
"Shall we head back?" Lucina asked. As Inigo nodded.
"Yes." Inigo then picked Lucina up and carried her bridal style.
As soon as Lucina and Inigo made it back. They, but mainly Inigo were met with an angry glare.
The Shepherds had returned. And while the others were speaking with their parents that they hadn't seen in a while. Chrom was glaring angrily at Inigo. Like he was about to murder him.
Robin was behind her husband but she wasn't angry. She instead had an expression of disappointment and worry.
Morgan and Marc were next to their father.
Morgan whispered to Marc. "We were so busy feeling bad I completely forgot about the letter!"
Marc nodded in response.
Henry and Olivia were close. Henry just had a frown while he rubbed the back of his head. Olivia blushing and looking down at the ground.
Lucina and Inigo looked at each other. The worry on Lucina's face could not be hidden in anyway at all. And Inigo felt that his life was at stake at that moment.
"Inigo." Chrom breathed. "Put, my daughter, down."
Inigo looked at Lucina as the Princess nodded. As he carefully sat Lucina down so she could stand.
A moment of silence accrued the air. Until Lucina decided to speak.
"Father...let us talk this thr-"
Chrom suddenly dashed towards Inigo as he grabbed Inigo by his neck. And shoved him into a tree. Delivering a strong punch to Inigo's gut. As he glared at the dancer.
"You sick bastard!! You have ruined my daughters life!" Chrom exclaimed. Who do you think you are?! I swear that I am going to kill you."
"Father! No!" Lucina exclaimed.
Chrom not listening to Lucina punched Inigo in the eye. Where he now had a black eye. "Chrom...please..."
"No! You will pay for what you have done to my daughter!" Chrom exclaimed delivering another punch.
"Father stop!" Lucina cried out.
"Milord please! We do not need to solve this with violence!" Olivia exclaimed. As Henry put his hand on his wife's shoulder. There was no stopping Chrom.
"Chrom! Enough!" Robin exclaimed as she tried to pull Chrom off of Inigo. With Morgan and Marc following.
"Father stop!" They both said.
"ENOUGH FATHER!!" Lucina exclaimed as she unexpectedly punched her father in the face. Causing him to fall back. As Lucina hugged Inigo.
Robin, Morgan and Marc were surprised as they looked down at Chrom and helped him.
"Lucina..." Chrom said.
"Why did you have to hurt him father?! We don't have to solve anything with violence!" Lucina cried. "You can't just hit something or swing a weapon at it and expect your problems to be solved!"
Lucina cried more and leaned deep into Inigo. Who just looked down at her.
"L-Lucina. I'm so sorry." Chrom said. Realizing he may have taken it too far. "I did not-"
"You did not nothing father! You didn't have to solve this with violence! I love Inigo!" Lucina cried.
Everyone was silence. As Inigo hugged Lucina.
"R-right." Robin said. She then walked to Lucina and helped her up. As she walked her to her tent. "Chrom, follow me. Morgan, Marc, you two help Inigo up."
Robin, Lucina, and Chrom walked to a different part of the forest. To talk things through, while Olivia spoke to Inigo.
"Inigo dear, how could you do this?" Olivia asked. "A father? You are not even eighteen yet! Why did you get Lucina pregnant? How long has this even been going on?"
"A few months I suppose. I...I suppose mistakes happen. Me and Lucy both knew the consequences, and we still did it." Inigo admitted shamefully. Hoping Robin and Chrom wouldn't scold Lucina too hard.
"CYNTHIA!' Shut up!!" Severa exclaimed. As yep. She and Cynthia were arguing again. What it was this time was unknown at the moment.
"Why? I can't express how I feel? The outhouse smells horrible!" Cynthia exclaimed. "My Pegasus' butt smells better than that horrible smell!"
"Take that back or I'll kick your ass!" Severa yelled at Cynthia.
"Not unless I kick your ass first! I shall be victorious!" Cynthia exclaimed as Severa then tackled Cynthia. As the two began fighting. Stahl and Gaius noticed this.
As the two sighed they walked to their own daughters to pull them off of each other. Gaius pulled Cynthia off while Stahl pulled Severa off. The two struggled.
"Severa honey stop!" Stahl said.
"Cynthy what has gotten into you?" Gaius asked.
"Get over here! I'm gonna kick your ass!" Severa exclaimed.
"Never!" Cynthia exclaimed as they both kept trying to attack each other.
Stahl and Gaius looked at each other and simply sighed. When do Cynthia and Severa never not argue?
So that was the end of that chapter. Thanks everyone.
