(Time-Skip: 277 AC)

Daemon for once actually agreed with Rhaegar, going to Duskendale was Sheer Folly on the part of his father. Lord Tywin had refused Lord Denys request to make Duskendale a Royal Charter, in order to counteract the loss of income and business to King's Landing. But Now the man was refusing to pay his taxes, and extended an invitation to Daemon's father to come to Duskendale to personally resolve the matter.

(Red Keep, King's Landing, The Crownlands, The Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, Westeros)

Daemon and Rhaegar overlooked the Royal Party leaving the city.

''This is a bad idea, Lord Denys is up to something.'' Rhaegar mutters.

''Agreed, and his Myrish bitch of a wife is likely behind it too. We should call the Banners, just to be on the safe side. I can get Storm's End, Riverrun, Sunspear, and the Highgarden to answer, will you get The Rock, Eyrie, Winterfell, and Pyke to answer?'' Daemon asks.

''I will. Until this matter is resolved, our issues will have to wait.'' Says Rhaegar as he and Daemon for once in their lives are in the same room at the Red Keep and not at each other's throats.

Rhaegar turns to his brother.

''How is Daena? Is she well?'' Asks Rhaegar.

Daemon turns to see the genuine look on his Elder Brothers face.

''Well enough I suppose.'' Daemon replies, not too comfortable with the fact his sister was quarantined on Dragonstone until she gave birth...to Daemon's Bastard child.

Aerys had been delighted at this, and pushed for the two to be wed. But Lord Steffon had convinced him to delay the wedding until a few years.

Daemon had been on rocky ground with Mira as a result, but they'd more or less patched up the holes in their relationship.

''It's not your fault little brother, just as we are beholden to Father and the God's, Our sister is beholden to her desires.'' In spite of the general hostility between them, Daemon appreciated Rhaegar helping him rid himself of his guilt and shame.

(Time-Skip: One Day Later)

(Outskirts of Duskendale, The Crownlands, The Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, Westeros)

The Banners of the Houses Targaryen, Baratheon, Tyrell, Arryn, Martell, Tully, and Lannister flapped, fluttered, and flipped about in the wind as the The Royal Fleet, The Redwyne Fleet, Lannister Fleet, and Velaryon Fleet blocked off any sea-bound escape route.

The Defiance of Duskendale had begun, and for the first time Two of Five Royal Dragonspawn had been united in their lives for the first time. Their rapid and almost foreseeing response proved to raise both brothers Reputation among the Soldiers and Nobles alike.

A War tent held both brothers with Lord Tywin, Lord Steffon, and Lord-Commander Hightower.

The Twin princes were overlooking the ancient maps of Duskendale.

''What about this passage here? It's small and Narrow, I likely could funnel in maybe a dozen crack troops before it was rendered unusable.'' Daemon offers.

''No it's much to close to the barracks.'' Rhaegar denied.

''Our best bet is starve them out then, but in so doing we risk much.'' Says Lord Tywin.

''Indeed Lord Tywin, we risk the Death of our father, and Lord Denys alliance to Myr through his wife have given him enough Grain to last a year at the most.'' Says Daemon before turning to look out the tent flaps seeing the Walls heavily manned and defended, but faced towards the army.

''What are you thinking Daemon?'' Asks Rhaegar.

''Those troops they are faced against the combined forces and harbor. But what if we placed a force of twenty thousand men at each gate, Lord Denys would be left with little choice but to both spread out his men and concentrate them. After a while he will think himself clever when we send white flags. When in reality we use it drug his negotiators guards, slip into their armor and their castle. We then have them wait until nightfall before poisoning the entire Duskendale Barracks with Poison.'' Says Daemon.

''It would trim his numbers down true, but what about after?'' Asks Hightower.

''We'd have to slip sweetsleep or nightshade into the Sentries Rations. As for the City Watch? We could selectively burn down important areas of the city once the poison has taken hold in order further divide the city. But all this seems too reliant on chance no? Thus I suggest that we bide our time for a few months, let Lord Denys stew and get comfortable, then We can call a parley, and while it happens We storm the city elsewhere.'' Says Daemon, as he smiles at the idea.

(Time-Skip: Three Months, Five Weeks, Six Weeks, and Four Days Later)

House Targaryen had been left without it's King for nearing Four Months, and Daemon and Rhaegar's differing Tactics and Strategies had quickly deteriorated the somewhat temporarily stable relationship between the two.

House Stark and Houses Umber, Karstark, Manderly, Bolton, Ryswell, and Glover came south of the Neck, in order to assist.

In other news, Daena had reportedly given birth to a healthy baby girl she named Rhaenyra.

Eager to meet his daughter, and eager to wrap up this protracted siege. Daemon had gathered his Maw under the cover of night, alongside Lord Steffon and Tywin, Ser Barristan and Ser Oswell. He would see this madness end now.

''So we are in agreement then?'' Asks Daemon.

''We are, you've till morning to get the King and after that your on your own.'' Says Lord Tywin.

''Thank you Lord Tywin.'' Says Daemon as Tywin departs. ''Alright here's the plan, We split into Three groups. One will be sent to raise hell and mayhem enough to wake the Stranger himself. Robert shall have the command of this group. Take Ned, Lyn, and Nestor. A second group will slip in through the harbour and raise havoc by burning the Duskendale Fleet at anchor, meanwhile a Third Group will slip inside the castle and rescue my father, the reward we could ask for his rescue would redefine extravagant.'' Says Daemon.

''Who will lead Group two?'' Asks Yohn.

''Oberyn you will lead the Harbor Group, take Yohn, Randyll and Stannis.'' Says Daemon.

''What about us?'' Asks Ser Oswell.

''Ser Oswell, you, will lead a dozen Swords alongside Garth and capture Lord Denys Family alive, starting with his children and wife. Ser Barristan will be accompanying Jaime and I as we liberate my Father and Ser Harlan. Each group member is to take five men he trusts without equal to provide support, the more men not in the Dungeons the better off we'll be. The Royal Navies been instructed to fire on the Port at the sound of three Bursts of a Dragonbone Horn...use it if you have no way out.'' Says Daemon handing the Horn to Oberyn.

''One last drink before we go my friends?'' Oberyn asks.

''Yea, When we get back, Drinks are on me. But only for the first three rounds.'' Says Daemon.

(POV Shift : General POV)

(POV: Robert Baratheon)

Robert Baratheon, Ned Stark, Lyn Corbray, and Nestor Royce each took five trusted men with them to carry out the Maw Master's Orders. Robert had long ago chosen Daemon as his King, said it as such, and in a form of family loyalty Daemon had called Robert his Dragons Fist, his blunt instrument.

Roberts Friendship with Daemon had quickly brought in Ned Stark, Jaime Lannister, and Stannis Baratheon. The Maw was truly born however when Lyn Corbray, Oberyn Martell, and Nestor and Yohn Royce joined them.

Prince Daemon Was by blood Robert's Cousin, but through the Bonds forged between the Dragons Maw, they were brothers. So if Daemon needed him to cause a necessary distraction amongst the City Watch and the Duskendale Barracks, then he'd do it without any questions.

(POV: Oberyn Martell)

Prince Oberyn Martell lead his Brothers of the Maw to The Duskendale Port, together they'd raise a secondary bit of general chaos, mayhem and hell upon the Port.

Oberyn took a lot of stuff lightly be it women, men, wine, even death or life itself. But the way that Prince Daemon's mind worked was truly fascinating. One moment he was discussing a highly complex strategy before he decided to forget about it for the chance to being able to play the long game.

Daemon was someone endlessly entertaining and intriguing...just like Oberyn himself...

(POV: Jaime Lannister)

After splitting off from Ser Oswell and Garths detachment, Daemon and Jaime both proceeded to wait two minutes for the mayhem before they rushed the Dungeons.

Jaime had the hope of naming his reward to have Cersei marry Daemon, something his sister would one day thank him for. Rhaegar was many things, but in seeing the way the Crown Prince treated his younger brother, it reminded him of how Cersei used to be to Tyrion, before their Mother set her straight.

Looking at the Steely focus in his Friends eyes, Jaime could only wonder what was going through his Friends mind...

(POV Shift: Daemon Targaryen)

Having waited no less or more than two minutes for the fun to begin, Jaime and Ser Barristan followed the Prince into the Dungeons, down the Spiral stairs, cutting down a bloody path on the way down Daemon's sword was red with blood as he lead the way into the cells.

Daemon held the Gaoler at Sword point as the man freed the King from his bindings.

''Father, It's me, Daemon, your son. I defied Rhaegar to rescue your." Says Daemon as he carries his father from the Cell.

''D-daemon...'' The Kings Voice was dry, and Daemon passed him his water skin. The King drank it eagerly, and finally seemed to be cleared from his daze.

''My son, my good son, he came for me.'' Says Aerys, repeating it over and over again.

''Not just me father, The Dragons Maw and Ser's Barristan and Oswell too! Come, we must leave before reinforcements arrive.'' Daemon urges his father onwards.

(POV Shift: Rhaegar Targaryen)

The Crown Prince of House Targaryen was furious, his younger Brother had disobeyed him, leading at least Nine Major Houses including four Great Houses into Duskendale to free their Father.

He had no desire for Daena to hold him responsible for Daemon's Death, Father was scary enough, Mothet more so when angered, but Daena had the largest Temper of the Entire Targaryen Family, though it was rarely ever roused.

The sound of Gates Creaking open drew his attentions and he saw to his astonishment that being marched out in Chains was The entire Darklyn Family, while Daemon Lead Their Father out.

As one the entire army knelt to the King, and Aerys zeroed in on Rhaegar hate, anger, and suspicion in his eyes.

This was not going to end well...

(POV Shift: Daemon Targaryen)

Kneeling down as Ser Barristan laid a Sword upon his Shoulders, while The Kingsguard and Lord's Steffon and Tywin did the Same to Stannis, Lyn, Randyll, Garth, and Jaime himself, Daemon received a Knighthood becoming the youngest to ever receive it at ag eleven. Surpassing Daemon I Blackfyre in this regard, and Maegor I Targaryen before him.

Raised up, His father commanded him to ask but one thing to be granted to him, and it would be so...

The possibilities were truly endless at this very moment, but Daemon had one single thing in mind for what he presently wanted, something that was absolutely critical to his Short-term Plans to overshadow Rhaegar...
