Transformers Prime: Bumblebee's Brother

Chapter 6: Darkness Rising Part 4

Somewhere else on the Nemesis, the two decepticon soldiers were walking down a corridor as one of them were holding Jack and Raf. "Bring then to the Brig." one of the soldiers said. "Commander Starscream is keeping the two humans there."

Jack and Raf looked at each other, realizing that the special agent and his son were there! These two were in a big problem right now. First, they (along with Miko) had to convince Bulkhead to save Fowler and his son. While Bulkhead wanted to save Leo, he didn't want to help the agent, due to him being a 'jerk'. However, he decided to save the Fowlers from the hands of the Decepticons, for the sake of their friends. Unfortunately, the fifteen-year-old girl followed the green bot with them realizing it. So, they decided to go after them... Which didn't end well.

Before they could be next, three autobots drove towards them. While Blue Jacket and Bumblebee crushed and handled the 'Cons, Arcee transformed and saved the two boys from falling. The two scouts then transformed into their robot modes and checked to see if Jack and Raf are okay.

"Bumblebee!" Raf said, happy to see his guardian.

"I'm so glad you're okay, Raf!" Bumblebee beeped in relief, happy that Raf wasn't hurt in any shape or form.

"Are you guys okay?" Blue asked, having a worried look on his face.

"Don't worry, we're good." Jack said, assuring the blue bot.

"Appreciate you clearing the front door for us, but storming the Decepticon warship was not on the activities list." Arcee told them.

"Tell me about it!" Jack said.

"Have you guys seen Bulkhead?" Blue asked.

"He's with Miko." Said Raf.

The three Autobots and the two boys then ran down the corridor. The two-wheeler walked down in front, with her gun loaded, ready to shoot. When she turned around, she found Bulkhead, who had his gun loaded and holding Miko with his other hand.

"Friendly!"

"Hello!"

The autobots regrouped and saw Miko with Bulkhead.

"Brought the humans, huh?" The two-wheeler asked him.

"You try getting them to stay behind!" The green mech yelled at her.

"Optimus did put you in charge, 'Cee." Blue Jacket reminded her, much to her annoyance. However, she put that aside.

"We need to find Fowler, his son, and get these kids out of here." Arcee reminded her team.

Blue Jacket then looked at the two boys.

"You two have any chance to know where they are?" Blue asked Jack and Raf.

"They're in the Brig!" The two boys said together, answering the question.

In the room where Starscream is holding the Fowlers, he walked up to the special agent while chuckling darkly.

"My dear Agent Fowler, you do realize the Autobots have abandoned you." Starscream said, walking around him before continuing. "I am the only one you can rely upon now. So, tell me what I want to know or…" He was about to shock him with the energon prod again, until Leo yelled, getting the seeker's attention.

"Wait!" Leo yelled. "Please, no more! I'll tell you where they are!"

Fowler had a shocked and surprised face while Starscream smirked, walking towards the chained-up teenager.

"Really?" He asked, interested. "Where are they?"

Leo gulped, thinking of the right words.

"O-Optimus and Ratchet left the base to find Megatron..."

"Yes, yes." Starscream said, smiling darkly. "Keep going."

Before Leo could say more, Fowler got the seeker's attention, who turned around to look at him.

"T-They're in government base..." Agent Fowler weakly said.

Starscream smirked even more, thinking that he almost has the information he needed from these two humans.

"Go on."

Before he could say more, they heard noises from the other room. After that, the seeker turned back to the special agent. "Yes?" Starscream asked.

"In the old steel mill. Or was it under that carnival fun-house?" Fowler lied.

Starscream, shocked and furious that the agent has tricked him, yelled in anger and shock the agent with the prod, causing him to pass out. When Leo saw this, he thought that the second-in-command decepticon killed his own dad.

"Dad! Dad!" Leo yelled, trying to see if his dad would hear him. However, his dad wasn't moving. The 15 year old boy then looked at Starscream. "When the Autobots show up, they'll scrap you!"

"Quiet, you vermin!" Starscream yelled at the boy, before turning back to look at one of the vehicons. "Someone find out what is going on out there!" The vehicons nodded and ran out the room. The second-in-command then looked back at Leo. "Now, give me the location of the Autobot base, little one..."

"Not a chance, scrap heap!" Leo said.

Starscream growled, looking at the little human. "Tell me the location of the Autobot base, or I will add your father to the multitude of fallen humans below.

When Leo saw his father moved a bit, he was relief, happy that he was alive, but he hid it from Starscream. "Go ahead, it's not going to do you any good." Leo said, smirking at the seeker, who was annoyed and went back to the special agent to see if he was still living.

Back with the autobots, they were fighting the decepticon soldiers and protecting Jack, Raf, and Miko at the same time. Both the scouts bashed the cons while Bulkhead and Arcee crushed them.

In the other area, the soldiers were walking around, when they heard knocking and walked towards the door which opened and the Vehicon that was approaching the door got shot, and both Arcee and Blue Jacket both quickly jumped into the room with agility and began shooting at Vehicons. Bumblebee and Bulkhead then shot the other Vehicons in the room.

"Clear." Arcee said, deactivating her blasters. Jack, Miko, and Raf ran inside of the room and looked at their autobot guardians. "Wait here." She told them. Blue Jacket and Bumblebee looked at each other before they looked at her.

"Are you sure letting three kids, who can't defend themselves, stay in a room that could be filled by 'cons anytime soon?" Blue asked the two-wheeler.

"They're slowing us down, and they're easy targets. They'll be all right, as long as they stay put." She then started walking away.

Before Blue Jacket could walk away with them, he looked at the kids. "You guys be safe." He told them. The kids nodded at him, which he nodded back and left with Arcee and Bumblebee.

Meanwhile in the brig, Starscream was still trying to get the info out of the Fowlers. However, one wasn't cooperating, and the other was half-way knocked out.

"Wake up, you pathetic lump of flesh." Starscream said.

Fowler slowly woke up, looking dizzily at the seeker. "Grandma, is it cookie time?" He asked before falling back asleep.

Starscream once again sighed in annoyance before looking back at Leo.

"Earth will be more than what became of Cybertron once Megatron returns..." The seeker said, turning around and sharpen his claws. "Give me the location!"

Leo then looked at him, eyes to optics. "I'm not scared of you, Starscream. You're just a coward, in and out." he said, not afraid of him anymore.

The seeker was about to attack him with his claws, until he heard knocking from the door. Once it opened, it revealed to be one of the decepticon soldiers. "Well?" Starscream asked the soldier, only for the soldier to fall down dead, revealing Bulkhead, loading his gun and shot the two soldiers, then aiming at the seeker. Bumblebee and Blue Jacket jumped in, aiming their blasters at Starscream as well. The second-in-command then aimed his missile at the special agent and put one of his claws on Leo's neck. "Not so fast!" Then without warning, 'Scream felt something tap against his helm. With his blaster still trained on Fowler and his claw still on Leo, he looked up to see Arcee above him in the tube that supplied light to the room, her gun directed straight at his face.

"I wouldn't." She warned.

Starscream then gave her an evil smirk. "Oh, but I might."

An ominous silence filled the room. Each side had their weapons aimed directly at their target, neither faction ready to back down. The Autobots shot Starscream deadly glares whilst 'Screamer simply smiled sadistically. A few moments passed before the seeker decided to break muteness.

"Now, Agent Fowler, his son, and I will take our leave." Starscream said to the autobots.

"Eh… dooma say… yeah..." Fowler said, still affected from the energon prod.

The Autobots immediately took their opportunity and fired upon the seeker, making sure to aim well away from Fowler. The silver seeker yelped as he dodged Bulkhead, Blue Jacket, and Bumblebee's blaster fire. He then skidded to the side as Arcee fired down from above. Seeing no other option, Starscream transformed into his jet mode and rocketed out of the room.

"Well... At least Leo and Fowler are safe now." Blue said, getting the chains off of Leo and his dad.

"T-thanks, guys. I owe you one!" Leo said, happy that he, along with his dad, are still alive.

"No problem, kid." 'Cee said to Leo.

"Okay, let's head back for Jack, Raf, and Miko." Bulkhead advised. The autobots nodded, transforming into their vehicle modes. Leo gently put his dad in the green bot's vehicle. He then turned around when his autobot guardian got his attention.

"Leo, get in!" Blue Jacket said.

"Don't have to tell me twice!" Leo said, closing Bulkhead's door and quickly getting inside of Blue's vehicle. The autobots then drove out of the brig and headed to the other room where the other kids are.

Speaking of the three kids, they were now running away from one decepticon soldier that almost grabbed them. Luckily for them, the autobots showed up to their recuse.

"I told you to stay put!" Arcee told the, after Jack got on her vehicle mode. The autobots then drove away from the section and headed out the Nemesis.

In Bumblebee's vehicle mode, Fowler looks at Miko and Raf. "I like pie. Can we stop for pie?" He said before falling back down. Miko then sees Leo, who was in Blue Jacket's vehicle mode.

"You found Leo and Fowler! Rock on!" Miko said.

Autobot Base (Time Skip)

Optimus was wielding a crunch for Ratchet's injured arm. The kids then got up and looked at Fowler who was sleeping in a hospital bed with the humans standing nearby. Leo looked at his dad, feeling a little guilty that his father was in this condition. The two-wheeler saw this and walked up to him.

"Don't worry, kid." 'Cee said to the fifteen year old. "If my friends and I know your dad, he's tough. He'll be okay."

"Thanks..." Leo said, hoping that Arcee is right. He then looked at the Prime and the medic. "So, what happen to you two?" He asked them.

"We engaged an army of undead cybertronian warriors," Ratchet replied.

"Zombies?!" Miko asked in shocked. "You fought Zombies and I missed it?!"

Leo then looked at Miko. "Really?! Out of everything that just happen to us, you're more interested in a zombie-fighting match?! Leo stated.

"Um, yeah." Miko said to the boy.

Ignoring Miko's argument with Leo, Optimus looked at Bulkhead. "Bulkhead, you exercised extremely poor judgement in allowing the humans to accompany you."

Bulkhead looked at the kids before looking back at his leader. ""It won't happen again, Optimus." The green mech said. "I promise."

"But it wasn't bulkhead's fault." Miko said.

"Miko, please!" Bulkhead said, trying to stop her.

"And check it out." She went on, taking out her phone to show it to the leader and the field medic. "Recon."

Optimus bent down and looked at the picture on her phone, "Hmm. Ratchet, have a look. It could be of importance to Megatron."

"Woah. Megatron's back?!" Jack asked. "That's very bad news, right?"

Leo looked at the 16 year old. "If he's worse than the scrap metal freak who captured me and my dad, then yes... It's bad news, Jack."

"The medic did bent down to see the picture, but it wasn't the one he was looking at. "I don't understand..."

The teenage girl looked at her phone and realized her mistake. "Oops, wrong picture." Miko said. "This was when the vehicon almost got Raf."

"Miko, this isn't a game!" Jack yelled at her. "Raf, Leo, and Fowler almost got themselves killed. When are you going to get that through your thick skull?!"

"Yeah!" Leo said, agreeing with Jack and getting in the business. "My dad was zapped and I almost got clawed in half by that scrap screamer freak!"

Uh, hello? We all almost got killed." Miko said, reminding them that they were all in the fault.

"Well, if this was just an average day with the autobots, then I don't want any part of it! Not anymore." Jack said about his choice.

"Jack... Putting you in harm's way was never our intent. However, it is no longer the safety of you four that is at risk, but the safety of all humankind. We will respect your decision if you wish to leave." Optimus said to Jack.

In an instant, the groundbridge started up, making everyone look over to see Ratchet standing at the controls.

"No point in long goodbyes, here's the door." the medic said.

Leo looked at the doctor in disgust. "That's just cold, man." He said to the medic. Understanding that Ratchet doesn't like Earth or the humans, he didn't have to be so mean about it.

The teenage black-haired boy started walked, but then stopped to look at Raf and Leo. "You two coming?"

Both Leo and Raf looked at their guardians then back at the boy.

"I'll be okay, Jack," Raf said.

Leo turns around to see Blue Jacket and his father before turning his attention at Jack.

"I want to..." Leo started. "But, I have to stay with my dad, meaning I have to stay at their base. "We'll see you at school tomorrow, okay?"

Jack sighed and nodded. "Sure thing," he said as he walked away, but then the two-wheeler blocked his path with her arms crossed.

"I know, you don't exist." He said, walking past her.

"Don't make me hunt you down." she replied as she watched him leave, a sad expression showing up on her face as he disappeared into the portal.

Blue Jacket then looks at his allies. "So, what's the game plan?" he asked.

"We find out the info from Miko's phone." Optimus stated.

Later

Miko was about to get inside of Bulkhead's vehicle mode when Leo got her attention.

"H-Hey Miko." he said, stuttering.

"Oh, hey Leo." Miko said. "What is it, dude?"

"I- I just want to say you did good out there in their recuse plan." Leo said before continuing. "And I want to say sorry for yelling at you earlier... Twice. I was just scared and almost brave when Starscream wanted the info out of me and my dad."

Miko was amazed when she heard this. "You went face-to-face with a decepticon?! Cool!" she said, impressed.

Leo blushed a bit. "Yeah, you could say that." he said. "So, where are you and bulk going?"

"We're going to convince Jack to come back." Miko said.

"Alright." he said. "Good luck." he gave her a fist-bump. Once he saw Miko and Bulk leave the base, he walked to his dad's bed. "I'm sorry, dad..." he said quietly to his knocked-out father.

He then listened to the conversation of what the autobots found out about Megatron's endgame, unknowingly that Blue and Arcee went out of the base.

Top of the Autobot Base

Blue Jacket was looking at the grave of Cliffjumper.

"Hey, Cliff... It's been awhile." Blue said. "If your spark is hearing this, I just want to say thank you for saving me...and I'm sorry for not saving you. We found out of Megatron's plan, thanks to the human kids... Yeah, I know. I shouldn't be sad...but I miss you already. You were my best friend. Heck, you were the best of partners of Jazz, Sideswipe, and Arcee. I...I just wished you were still alive... Miko would've liked you." Blue finished, not knowing that the two-wheeler listened every word he said.

'Thank you, Blue Jacket.' Arcee said in her head. She then saw Blue Jacket heading back to base. She quietly followed him back as well.

Wow! There was a few good moments in this chapter... Speaking of which, I hope you guys enjoyed part 4 of Darkness Rising. Once Darkness Rising's finished, season 1 will show up.

If you guys are wondering why Leo is blushing and stuttering in front of Miko, you guys just have to guess and find out yourselves.
