After walking thru the forest, Kirby and Beanbella come across a dead end.
"Why is there a dead end here?" "The map says that the first crystal heart is over here!"Beanbella says in frustration.
"Maybe it's hidden somewhere." Kirby replies.
They try looking around until one of them
accidentally steps on a button that causes the ground to shake.
"Woah! Why's the ground shaking so violently?"
Beanbella says worried.
"I don't know, but it could be related to the crystal heart!"
The ground stops shaking and reveals a secret underground passage.
Kirby and Beanbella are surprised that there's an underground passage and think that's where the crystal heart is. They jump in and fall into a mine cart.
"WOOO! This is so exciting!" "I've never ridden in a mine cart before!" Beanbella says ecstatically.
Kirby and Beanbella both start to enjoy the ride until the mine cart runs over a trap button that summons a giant spiked ball that starts to chase them.
"Uh oh." Kirby says worriedly.
"What's wrong?"
"Look behind you!"
Beanbella turns around and starts becoming shocked and startled.
"Oh no! What should we do?"
Just then she sees a lever to change tracks and tells Kirby to pull it to avoid being crushed. Kirby pulls the lever and they both get away in time.
The mine cart stops to a small temple with a single puzzle room with big square tiles that light up green and blue when walked on.
Kirby is about to walk into the room but Beanbella stops him and throws a rock on on the tiles and sets off a booby trap that could've crushed them.
"How did you know that was gonna happen?"
He asks her.
"I read a book about going through temples and it said to always throw rocks in any room to check for traps."
"Whew! Thanks for stopping me!"
Beanbella suggests Kirby hopping on the blue tiles and she'll do the green tiles.
They are shown the pattern of the puzzle the right way and start to hop on the tiles.
They start laughing at how much fun hopping on the tiles were they forgot not to touch the wrong tiles and one of them accidentally steps on a tile that lights red and sets off a spike ceiling trap.
"Uh oh. We might need to hurry up and finish up the puzzle." Beanbella says while pointing up at the ceiling with her blue leaf hair.
Kirby looks up and his eyes widened with fear.
He starts hopping faster with Beanbella also picking up the speed.
They finally finish the hopping tile puzzle and the door opens. They rush out of the room just in time and come across a messy abandoned laboratory with broken screens and
"What is this place?" Kirby says with curiosity.
"It looks like some kind of abandoned laboratory!" Beanbella replies.
They both walk around the laboratory and see an old robot laying on the floor and in it was the first crystal heart.
Kirby was about to grab the crystal heart out of the robot but then the crystal heart starts to fill the robot with some mysterious power and the robot wakes up.
"What the..." Kirby says startled.
The robot sees Kirby and his friend and thinks they are intruders.
"INTRUDER ALERT. INTRUDER ALERT." The robot repeatedly says.
The crystal heart enhances the robot's power by giving it 6 arms to attack Kirby and Beanbella.
The robot uses the first pair of arms to try and stab Kirby but Kirby uses the sword ability to slash the two arms off.
Then the robot tries to attack Beanbella next but she shoots out 2 explosive coconuts from her head and kicks both of them at 2nd pair of arms.
The robot decides to use the last pair of arms to stab into the ground and create an earthquake to finish off Kirby and his friend.
"What's it doing?!" Kirby says in fear.
"It's trying to crush us with an earthquake! Kirby! Grab the crystal heart and let's get outta here!"
Kirby grabs the crystal heart and calls his warp star to fly them thru the ceiling and out of the laboratory.
The laboratory crumbles and falls apart for good with the robot inside. The two fly out and crash onto the ground.
"Are you ok?" Kirby asks Beanbella.
"Yeah, I'm good. Do you still have the crystal heart?"
"Sadly, no." Kirby says with his hands behind his back.
"Oh." She says as she looks down in disappointment.
"Gotcha!" He says while holding up the crystal heart.
"Whew! Man don't scare me like that!" Beanbella says while playfully punching Kirby.
