Chapter 6: The Council
She took one last glance at Anakin before disappearing behind the corner. Anakin watched them leave. When Ahsoka was far enough away, she turned to Obi-Wan. "How do they know about last night?" Obi-Wan looked at the ground and sighed. "I told them." Ahsoka stared at him horrified. "How could you do that?! After everything? How much do they know?" she questioned. Anakin looked at Windu. "What happened last night?" he asked again. Windu looked right back at him. "He attacked again. The vampire. Obi-Wan was kind enough to give us some detail of what you told him. He said you encountered the vampire last night when you went to look for him to get clues." Anakin nodded, playing along with it. "Yes. I didn't get to the good of a look at him. He was wearing a mask across his face so I could only see his eyes. Some of his hair was dangling out of the hood so I know he has long hair and blue eyes. Wait. Maybe they were green. They were a greenish-blue," explained Anakin. "Master Kenobi also said that you encountered him after his last attack. Is that true?" asked Ki-Adi-Mundi. "Yes. It is. There was blood on his clothes," said Anakin. "Thank You, Skywalker. You may go," said Windu. Anakin bowed and exited looking around for Obi-Wan. "Ani!" exclaimed Ahsoka running up to him, hugging him. "Snips. Where's Obi-Wan?" he asked hugging back. "He left. How much does the Council know?" she asked. Anakin sighed and looked at her. "Here isn't the best place to talk." Ahsoka sighed. "We need to talk about this. I want to know what happened," she said. Anakin sighed and led her to his quarters. "Ok," he said after he closed and locked the door, "Obi-Wan told him that I encountered the vampire last night. I don't think they know it's me. They asked what he looked like. I said long brown hair and greenish-blue eyes. I know that sounds a lot like me but since I was the one who encountered the vampire, I can't be the vampire." Ahsoka sat on the bed and looked at him. Anakin sat down next to her. She watched him. "Ani. Please be careful." He looked at her. "I will," he said hugging her. She hugged back.
