So.

Like with my other story, I'll start this quick. I've never really been one for consistently updating, and I don't really think anyone much cares but I've been doing some thinking and I realized that there are some things I want to clear up about how this story will be going long term. I feel I owe it to the very few fans to know the general direction of this story, so no one is disappointed. With that said, I need to say a couple things.

I am not going to restate what I said in that update, for those who care about that story they can go read it however most people reading this one don't and that doesn't really bother me.

I feel the need to mention though, that unlike that story where I plan to have a mostly positive tone, this one (due to our main character) won't always be the same. While this won't be all doom and gloom as that's one of the main failings of Bloodborne fanfics IMO, there will certainly be less redemption and more death in this story. While Ace might make some decisions that aren't always rational, that story will largely focus on prevention. Given the Hunter's place as the MC however, this story will focus more on him and the direct actions he would have on the story going forward and it would be disingenuous to one side of this story to hold back the brutality of Bloodborne, and the despair it sometimes has.

However, I hope to carry this with some real meaningful things (or at least as much as I can get away with for a fanfiction I thought of years ago.) This story will have it's fair share of over the top Bloodborne-like fights don't worry, but it will also carry the themes presented by the game in its narrative. It's very clear that this is the thing that people actually care about between my two stories, and I am hoping to be able to satisfy that as I settle back into writing.

I also feel I should mention that the presence of the few OC's will stay consistent but the story will never be overloaded with them. This is first and foremost the Hunter's story and how he deals with the events as opposed to some big story crossover event, so hopefully they shouldn't outstay their welcome.

There is much less to say about this story, but as it's my real important work I thought I should update you all as well.
