A Game Of Truth Or Dare
"Ugh! I'm so bored" I Say, staring at the other apprentices with wide eyes.
"Me too. If only there was something to do" Bluepaw says, staring at me. Then after a few moments of silence, Bluepaw was the first to speak up.
"We should play a game" She suggested, and I smiled brightly at her.
"I have an idea" I say, and Bluepaw looked at me with curiosity shinning in her eyes.
"And what might that be my good lady?" She asked, and I smiled widely in response.
"We should play truth or dare" I said, and she smiled widely and nodded her head in excitement. The others all smiled and nodded in agreement.
"What in the name of StarClan is truth or dare?" Shadepaw asked, looking at me and Bluepaw with confused neon yellow eyes.
"You seriously don't know what truth or dare is Shadepaw?" Willowpaw asked, in disbelief and Shadepaw smiled sheepishly and looked down at her paws.
"It's really not that Complicated Shadepaw" Bluepaw says, and I nod in agreement with her statement.
"Hay, where's Snowpaw, Silverpaw, Leafpaw, Nightpaw and Cinderpaw?" Ravenpaw asked, walking into the apprentices den.
"Don't know Raven, but do you want to play truth or dare with us?" I asked, and the black she-cat nodded her head in excitement
"I still don't know what truth or dare is!" Shadepaw asked and crickets chirping was her only answer.
"Ugh! Fine, it's really not that Complicated Shadepaw, you ask a person next to you truth or dare, they pick one and they have to do what you say. For example, err... I'll ask Firepaw, truth or dare, and she'll say, truth. So she has to answer a question that I give her truthfully. But if she says dare, she has to do a dare that I give her" Cinderpaw explained, and Shadepaws eyes shine with understanding.
"Understand now?" I asked, and Shadepaw nods her head in response.
"Yeah, let's get this thing started" Shadepaw says, and the game begins.
I was ready to start the game and my first victim Bluepaw.
"Bluepaw, truth or dare?" I asked, and the blue-gray she-cat smirked brightly at me.
"Dare! Make it a good one Firepaw" She said, and I grinned evilly at her.
"I dare you to go up to Rosestar and tell her that I'm your kit" I said, and Bluepaw grinned and nodded, heading out of the den to tell Rosestar.
"Now, Brokenpaw, truth or dare?" Bluepaw asked, and the former ShadowClan cat thought for a moment before he replied.
"Dare" he said, and Bluepaw grinned cheekily at him.
"I dare you to ask Yellowfang if she has any kits." Brokenpaw sighed but nodded his head and went to find Yellowfang.
"Okay, Willowpaw truth or dare?" Brokenpaw says, and Willowpaw thought for a moment before she replied.
"Truth" She eventually decided and stared at Brokenpaw.
"Is it true that You like Ashpaw?" He asked, and Willowpaw blushed and looked away from Brokenpaw.
"Okay, Firepaw, truth or dare?" He asked, and I smiled cheekily at him.
"Truth" I said, and he grinned widely at me. That was the part that scared me.
'StarClan what could he be thinking about?' I wondered to myself, as I nervously needed my paws into the leafy floor of the apprentices den.
"Is it true that you have a boyfriend in LightningClan?" He ask, and Blush and turn my head away from him.
"Y-yes, w-what's it to you?" I ask, and he just shrugs in response. I sigh softly to myself and shake out my pelt.
'Thank StarClan he didn't ask me if I had kits. If he had, I would be in big trouble.' I thought, as I took a deep breath to calm my breathing and my racing heart.
"Okay, Bluepaw, what's your pick? Truth or dare?" I asked, and the blue-gray molly grinned widely.
"Dare, give me a good one Firepaw!" Bluepaw meowed, and I nodded with a cheeky grin on my face.
"I dare you to sing the intro for Bluestar's Prophecy by Aluriya." I say, and Bluepaw groans.
"Ugh! Alright. Here, my journey begins. Here all of us are guided by StarClan, our ancestors. I want to live, I want to live my own life. But there's one thing you should know about me. A prophecy. Is this the reason I'm alive, the reason I'm breathing I'll survive. My claws unsheathing it will be my drive, knowing what everyone expects of me. I'll make my Clan proud, fighting until I know there safe and sound. StarClan has told me what I'm destined for. And that my name cannot be ignored. Though it's the reason I'm alive, the reason I'm breathing don't deprive. My eyes have seen what else I can be. Is it my only path, is prophecy." Once Bluepaw finished the song, everyone was dead silent, and crickets chirping was all that could be heard.
"For StarClan's sake why's everyone so quiet?" Snowpaw asked, speaking up for the fist time.
"Do you think I was good?" Bluepaw asked, as Snowpaw patted over.
"No, I think you need a lot of work." Snowpaw meowed, and Bluepaw rolled her eyes at her.
"I'd like to see you do better." Bluepaw retorted, narrowing her eyes in a challenge.
"I bet I can." Snowpaw meowed confidently, and Silverpaw stepped in between them before a fight could break out.
"Okay you two, that's enough, no fighting." She scolded the two as they both stared down at their paws in shame.
I suddenly felt light-headed and the world spun, I took deep breaths to try and calm myself down but the pounding in my head only increased, and I bit my tongue to keep myself from yowling in pain.
"Firepaw? Are you alright? You don't look to good, are you getting sick?" I looked up through blurry vision at Cinderpaw, who was standing over me. I didn't know what to do or what to say, I was in to much pain to do or say anything, the last thing I saw was the panicked faces of my friends, then everything went dark.
I awoke to the worried faces of my Denmates. Two older cats were on either side of me. I stood shakily to my paws and I almost stumbled but Cinderpaw caught me before my face could become best friends with the floor.
"Great StarClan! Are you okay Firepaw?" Cinderpaw asked, looking at me with worried light blue eyes. I took a shaky breath and slowly nodded my head. Bluepaw was the next one to speak up after a short while.
"Well, I figured out what's wrong with young Firepaw here" Shadowpool meowed, patting over to us, the medicine cat then took a seat right in front of me, she curled her tail over her front paws as she stared at me.
"What's wrong with her Shadowpool? She's not dying is she?" Cinderkit meowed, looking at the older she-cat with fearful amber eyes.
"By the stars above, no child. Firepaw's not dying, she's expecting kits" Shadowpool meowed, staring at the other apprentices who looked wide-eyed.
"W-what? A-are you sure? I-I'm only an apprentice, I'm to young to be having kits. What will we tell Rosestar?" I chocked out, staring at Shadowpool with wide neon-yellow eyes.
"I'm not kidding young one, and don't worry Firepaw. I'll inform Rosestar and Firelily" Shadowpool meowed, and I gave a small sigh and lowered my head into my paws. 'StarClan why is this happening to me? I just wanted to become a medicine cat, but I can't if I'm expecting kits.' I thought to myself as I looked up at Cinderpaw.
