Wazup y'all!

We are finally back with chapter 6.

Sorry it took so long, we were having trouble writing the plot.

(Mika's perspective)

I flew around the redwood trees like a bullet on Hawks. I swooped around giant rocks and Allo's that were chasing me.

Eventually, I made it to Thug and Bria's base. I didn't bother knocking and just flew inside.

Thug was tending to something in a creature pen, he noticed me and stepped out.

"Hey, Mika." He greeted.

"Hey Thug, can I ask you a weird question?"

"Ok..?" He hesitated.

"Would you like to join myself and Care in an expedition to kill a giant spider?"

"What kind of giant spider?" He asked.

"The Broodmother kind…"

"Ah, I've done that already." He mused.

"Really? How?"

"Easy, just tame like 15 Rexs, three Spino's, and a couple Yuty's." (1)

"Really? Well to my understanding we are taking Grimlock, my Tek Rex, Nymeria, Arsenal our Tek Carno, Care's monkeys, Omni's Arthro's, and a couple Araneo's, Snowflake, Drago, our Spino's, and Berserker."

"That's… 20 creatures. The perfect amount."

"What do you mean?"

"There can only be 20 creatures in a Guardian battle."

"How do you know that?"

"I know everything." He joked.

"Sure. Anyway, I better get back."

Then as I was about to get on Hawks something flew down from above.

It was so far up I could barely see it, but I could certainly hear it.

"Is that a… hawk?" I thought aloud.

"Nope." Thug said with a smile.

Then it rocketed toward the ground with airstreams propelling from the tips of its wings.

It slammed into the ground shooting dirt everywhere.

Once the dust cleared I saw a glowing Griffin, with a rider.

Bria dismounted and noticed the shocked expression on my face.

"You haven't met Icean yet have you?" She said.

"No, I have not." I said without moving my gaze from it.

"She's an eerie Griff, some eeries have special abilities. Icean's ability is to be able to revive herself if she dies."

"Woah." I mused.

"I know right? It's so cool." She mused.

"Well, I better get back before I fall in love with her." I joked.

Once I got back to base, I saw Care and Omni chatting together with enthusiasm.

I landed near them as Care yelled a relieved "Finally!"

"What? Were you worried about me?" I joked.

"No, I just want to go kill some spiders." He said with a bit too much enthusiasm.

"Well, I appreciate that."

"You know what I meant."

"I know," I laughed, "Let's get the dino's and kill some spiders!"

We flew above the trees toward the green Obelisk with all of our creatures dashing through the forestry.

We landed near the Obelisk to examine it. It was levitating from a very thin beacon above a flatland inside a crater with tall rock walls. On the far side of the circular rock wall, there was a huge dark cave filled with spider webs. Just as Mary had described it.

I noticed there was an opening on the left side where I assume the entrance is.

We landed right at the opening where there was a large rock ramp leading to the Broodmother. (2)

Care and Omni made sure every creature we brought was here.

All of the Spino's and Arthro's shot through the forest ahead of Grimlock, Drago, and Berserker.

Then Snowflake and the monkeys came along with the others.

"That's 20." Omni stated.

"Let's kill some stuff." Care mused as he walked up the huge ramp.

We all followed slowly behind him with all the creatures behind us.

Once we made it to the top of the ramp and entered the flatland, I noticed several corpses of creatures as big as Rex's coated in webs.

We approached the beacon and faced the cave's mouth.

Grimlock slowly stomped forward with Berserker and Drago beside him.

They all roared at the cave with all their might, which actually shook the ground and shot my hearing for a moment.

Then the beacon flickered and we heard a high-pitched squeal from deep inside the cave.

Care Omni and myself all walked ahead of the creatures and took out our weapons.

All of our creatures faced the cave in their fighting positions. Care's three monkeys with their fists up like boxers beside him, Omni's two Arthro's propped up in their defensive position, and Nymeria and my six other wolves at my sides, snarling.

Then a wave of spiders rushed forward at their slow pace toward us. Care and I easily shot them down with our Tek rifles and the Arthro's acid blasts.

Then there was loud stomping from inside the cave. A giant yellow and green spider with red eyes burst forward and stopped at the entrance to screech its war cry and charge.

Omni shot it in the eye to blind it as all the Spino's and Berserker rushed it. First Berserker body-slammed it into the wall, then the Spino's started to slap it over and over.

All of the Araneo's burst through the cave. Thousands of them.

Arsenal stepped over and deployed every weapon he had and opened fire and Care's monkeys, my wolves, and Omni's bugs rushed them.

Drago and Grimlock dove in as well, killing hundreds every minute.

Then I looked over to Berserker and the Spino's to see that the Broodmother was still pinned. But at one moment, she sprayed a neon green acid everywhere which made Berserker move back. Then the Broodmother slapped one of the Spino's with her leg and impaled it with the other.

As soon as I saw this I directed Grimlock and Drago to help them. They rushed over and rammed it into the wall again.

This time though, the Broodmother was prepared, she pushed back with her legs against the wall and knocked the Rex's back. Then she doused the second Spino with her acid, melting it into a bubbling carcass.

"We aren't going to win this!" I yelled over Arsenal's gunfire pointing toward the Broodmother.

"She's right! We need to get out of here!" Omni cried.

"Ok, but how?!" Care exclaimed.

"I have an idea! Follow my lead!" I replied.

I then had Arsenal fire his rockets at the Broodmother to disorientate it.

He did so and this gave Grimlock an opportunity to let out his stun roar.

He did so as I called every creature to retreat.

We all rushed toward the entrance. But Grimlock's roar wasn't enough.

The Broodmother was catching up. Fast.

I then noticed Snowflake running beside me, I mounted her and turned toward the spider army chasing us.

I then made Snowflake let out the loudest roar possible which made them stop in their tracks and back away. This gave us just enough time to escape.

We ran down the ramp to a clearing away from the Obelisk.

We stopped and checked to see how many creatures we lost.

"Two Spino's, Omni's two Araneo's, and Corrosion." Care stated.

"He just became a father." Omni said.

"Sorry man." Care replied.

"It's ok, he died honorably."

"How are we supposed to beat this thing?" Care asked.

"How about we do what Mary said to do this time." I suggested.

"Which is?" Omni asked.

"We need to tame a bunch of Rex's." Care said.

We came back to the spot outside the entrance of the Broodmother den later that day. I came back with three Rex's following me, Omni had five, and Care had three as well.

"So I won the mass taming competition?" Omni said with a smirk.

"Whatever, this is a suicide mission for the Rex's anyway."

"What? But I already named mine!" Care exclaimed, "This is Siege, Merciless, and Red Death."

"Great! Now we have names for their tombstones." Omni replied.

"So who are we going to bring to the battle other than the Rex's?" I asked them both.

"Well, for sure we are bringing Snowflake, so maybe we can bring Drago, Grimlock and Berserker as well." Care suggested.

"That's 14, who else is there?" I asked.

"I want to bring Caustic, and I think Care's monkeys should join us as well for ground cover." Omni suggested.

"That's 18, we can bring two more."

"I say the other Tek creatures." Care suggested.

"Arsenal and Nymeria?" Omni clarified.

"Yes, Nymeria can be our bodyguard while Arsenal just fires at everything."

"I like it." I said.

"Then we have our roster?" Omni said.

Care and myself nodded in confirmation.

"Then let's kill the mother of all spiders. For real this time."

"One thing before we do." Care started, "Mika, you know how right when we escaped the arena you mounted Snowflake and made her use her fear roar?"

"Fear roar? I just got it to roar as much as possible to try and make them stop."

"That's the fear roar, the Yutyrannus has two roars, the fear roar and courage roar. The courage roar motivates creatures nearby which increases their strength and toughness."

"How do you know that?" Omni asked.

"I've been reading." He replied, "Anyway now for my point. When someone is mounted on the Yuty, you can use its roars. If we use the courage roar then we might have an edge."

"I'll do it, Nymeria can fight with the monkeys." I said.

"Alrighty then. Time for battle!" Care yelled dramatically.

We all rushed up the ramp behind him as I mounted Snowflake and made her use her courage roar. Her roar was so effective the creatures around her actually illuminated an eerie yellow.

I rushed forward and jumped off the top of the ramp to land in the army of spiders. They all started to crawl up Snowflake as I was tossing them away. Then Grimlock came over and used his stun roar. As he did this I used Snowflake's fear roar as well, and then every single Rex and Berserker came forward and belted it to create the loudest sound I've ever heard.

This caused every spider, including the Broodmother, to back away as all of the Rex's and Berserker followed at full speed.

The Araneo's cleared out of the way as they targeted the Broodmother. She sprayed her acid over all of them but they ignored it and kept charging.

They slammed into her and sent her backflipping through the air, to land on her back.

She squirmed for a bit before she slowly turned onto her giant legs.

The Rex's and Berserker changed again. This time Berserker and Grimlock advanced forward. They both charged at the Broodmother as she slapped away Berserker with one of her front legs. Grimlock scooped her up by flipping her over with his head and taking a chunk of her underside out in the process.

The other Rex's caught up and slammed her into the far wall. They were biting, ripping off pieces of her shell, and headbutting her constantly.

Then she did what she did the first time and pushed them away by putting her legs on the wall behind her and thrusting forwards. The Rex's were pushed back, but came right back at her.

Berserker at this point decided to join the party again and ripped off one of her horns at the top of her abdomen. Meanwhile, Care's monkeys, Caustic, and Nymeria tore up the spider minions below with the aid of Arsenal's constant fire.

The Broodmother's only retaliation to the Rex's attacks was her acid blasts and a leg slap. Her acid blasts did kill two of our Rex's but she had to have at least been half dead by now; her green blood was all over the place, over her, our rexes, Berserker, on her minions and on our tames. Care and I avoided it, and Omni was far enough away that he wasn't soaked in the stuff.

I noticed the yellow light from within our heavy hitters was starting to dim, so I ran up to them and did the courage roar again which made them roar as well and attack with more strength.

I heard the 'zing' of Omni's Railgun and then the 'Kathunk' of it reloading.

Then several more weaker shots were fired in quick succession. I looked back to see the source since Omni's railgun had a huge cooldown timer. What I found was Omni wielding a Sniper Rifle and he was reloading it as he hefted up the railgun, the massive 'Zing' followed and then he let it cool while he fired the sniper. It was quite smart really, switch to a different weapon while it cools down. Doing this he could take about an extra 7 shots with the Sniper before the Railgun was usable.

I started to notice that the Araneo army was starting to strategise its targets, only attacking one of our tames at a time, piling up on eachother in the process. So I directed Arsenal to aim for the area closer to the piles.

I then noticed that the Rex's were starting to get tired, even with the courage buff. The Broodmother was smarter than them and was able to counter attack easily. She even impaled one of the Rex's with her leg like she did with the Spino's. Then I had an idea.

"Guys! Follow my lead!" I yelled as I mounted Snowflake and plowed through the endless army of Araneo's.

Care mounted Kong behind me with Omni following atop Bigfoot.

I got to the Broodmother fight and made Snowflake do her courage roar one last time. Then I dismounted and ran over to Grimlock and mounted him. Care mounted Drago and Omni mounted one of the other Rex's he tamed. We all made our strategic attacks which overpowered the Broodmother and put her near death.

But she was smart enough to do the same thing as the Araneo's. She spent all of her acid spray directly at Berserker, in a fatal attempt to survive.

Berserker backed away from the kinetic force of the blast and roared so loud that his eyes turned yellow.

"BAILOUT! GET EVERYTHING AWAY FROM BERSERKER!" Care exclaimed.

I was confused as to why Care said this, but I did so anyway. The other Rex's that were not mounted followed.

The Broodmother was about to chase us but noticed the enraged Giganotosaurus charging her.

As soon as he was close, he headbutted her back and ripped off one of her legs.

He spun around, hit her in the face with his tail, and jammed her own leg into her body, the same thing she did to our Spino's.

But the Broodmother was still alive.

Berserker, still enraged, continued to rip pieces of her off, bite deep into her flesh, and rip off her limbs.

Eventually, the Broodmother was finally killed.

Berserker still had glowing yellow eyes, panting as he looked at his good work. Then he ripped off a big chunk of flesh and ate it.

He slowly looked at us.

I noticed that Omni and Care had longneck rifles raised, with tranq darts loaded.

But Berserker's eyes slowly dimmed as he walked over to us.

He walked over to care and made a low grumbling sound as green blood dripped from his jaws.

"Good boy." Care mused as he petted his snout.

I looked behind me to see all of the live Araneo's had retreated to the cave.

I looked over to see Caustic patrolling the corpses and Care's monkeys playing with spider legs.

Omni walked over to the corpse, took out a sword, and cut off the head. He brought it back and said, "Check out our trophy!"

"Correction, your trophy. I don't want a giant severed bug head hanging on my wall." Care replied.

"Suit yourself." Omni said as he placed the head in a sack.

We gathered all of the creatures together at the entrance to see how many tames had died as before.

"Only four of the new Rex's." Omni stated.

"And all of mine survived." Care announced proudly.

"Good job." I laughed.

We all got on our respective Argy's and flew home with all our remaining creatures following below.

Care and I flew over the battlement to see Crystal with two new Spino's.

"What's this?" I asked.

"I figured since you were going to battle a giant death spider you might lose a couple tames. These are for you."

I walked up to pet them and said, "Thanks, Crystal."

Care walked by with his monkeys and approached Crystal and myself.

"I was flying over the arctic area the other day and I think I saw an ice cave, you guys wanna investigate with me?"

"Sure." I replied.

"Wait. You trust me now?" Crystal asked.

"This will determine that." Care replied as his monkeys walked up, "Which one do you want to ride?"

We flew over the arctic forest on our Argy's, each carrying a monkey.

Care led the way to the mountain of the blue Obelisk. Then he dove down to the base of it toward an ice coated cave opening.

He landed inside of it, dismounted, and started to create a smithy and Fabricator with the resources in Blackbolt.

Once he did that, he made full fur armor for the three of us.

Care mounted Kong and walked inside the deep cave. I followed on top of King Louie and Crystal followed me on top of Bigfoot.

We walked into a small chamber with two pathways along the wall and water in the center. I looked in the water to see sabertooth salmon swimming around slowly.

There was very fast airflow at our feet which made me very cold even though we had full fur armor.

We kept walking until we reached an underpass that we had to crouch under. We all dismounted and did so with the monkeys shuffling over on their stomachs behind us.

We mounted them again and started to walk on into another chamber. There were larger platforms of ice over the water holding onto the right wall that we walked on. There were wolves, bats, and spiders that we passed along the way.

Then, as we walked around an ice pillar, there was a full white Gigantopithecus patrolling the pathway. He was much bigger than our monkeys, both in height and width. (3)

The massive beast noticed us but didn't attack strangely.

He stomped over, bent down to Kong's level ahead of me and looked intently at him. Then he huffed slowly twice, and made a growling sound.

Kong responded with a grunt. Then the creature slowly stood straight to Care's level and huffed at him.

Care held out a branch of frozen berries from outside.

He sniffed the berries and slowly took them from Care's hand.

He put the entire branch in his mouth and pulled out the branch, while it ate all the berries and leaves.

Kong then made a grunting and hooting noise.

The creature then knelt down as Care dismounted.

Care put his hand on the beast's chest.

It looked back at him and made a purring sound.

"Did you seriously just tame a Yeti?" Crystal exclaimed from behind us.

"Oh that's what he is? That's funny, I just named him that." Care replied.

"You named a Yeti, Yeti?" Crystal clarified.

"Yes."

"How creative." Crystal joked as she walked past.

We walked along the ice pathways toward a group of several different creatures.

Several wolves, Araneo's, bats, and even another Yeti.

We walked over atop the monkeys still, yet it seems they don't even care we are here.

Anything that even looked at us funny, Yeti growled at.

We walked through the cave for about an hour, crossing through huge champers with glowing green pillar-like objects in the ice walls. Eventually, we make it to an incline in the ground that leads to a stone statue of a Yeti.

We walk up the incline to the artifact box, take it, and head back.

As we walked back, I noticed every Yeti we passed was intently gazing at the artifact I held in my hand, almost like they were in a trance.

I walked over to one Yeti and held up the artifact toward it.

The blue light from within it started to glow brighter by the second until all the light expanded and shot from the artifact to the Yeti's forehead.

Once all the light entered its head, it looked at me and made the same growl that Care's Yeti did when it tamed.

When it… tamed.

"Uhhh, guys?" I called out.

"What's up?" Care asked as he turned the corner to see me.

I then tossed them the blackened artifact. It crumbled in Care's hands.

"What did you do?" He asked slowly as the dust blew away from his hand.

He then noticed the blue shimmer in my Yeti's eyes.

"Did you…"

"Yes," I responded.

"But… how is that possible?" He asked again.

"I don't know. But I think I just tamed ourselves our second Yeti."

"Show Offs," Crystal muttered as she walked off.

We exited the entrance of the cave and flew home on our Argy's, with our two Yeti's dashing through the icy forest in pursuit.

We then landed back at base and situated our two new creatures in the monkey pen Care created.

"What are you going to name yours?" Care asked.

"Abominable."

"Cute." He replied.

I walked up to Abominable and petted her.

"I think I'm gonna go hunting with her," I announced.

"I think I'll join you with Yeti." Care replied.

Care and myself dashed outside at the speed of light on top of our Yeti's.

We flew by wild Saber's, Wolves, we even outran some Argy's.

And then we found two Rex's.

We both dismounted and told our Yeti's to attack.

The Rex's saw us and charged.

Abominable and Yeti grunted to each other for a moment before Abominable walked forward.

As soon as the first Rex came up for an attack, she slammed her fist into its face, completely stopping it in its tracks.

The impact was so hard and the Rex was running so fast that its neck broke as it flipped over Abominable.

The corpse was still mid-air as the other Rex went for an attack.

Abominable jumped out of the way as Yeti body slammed the Rex into the ground. Then Abominable jumped up and Yeti pinned it, and Abominable punched the Rex through its eye into its brain.

She then ripped a piece of the brain out and started to eat it like it was a stick of string cheese.

Both of our jaws are on the floor.

Abominable walked up to me with her fists still on fire.

I curiously attempted to touch the flame, but it wasn't hot. In fact, it was freezing cold.

Care was observing this as well and said, "It must be the artifact's power. Yeti couldn't do that."

"Must be…" I started as I examined her more.

"Well, since they're omnivores, I think the Yeti's deserve the meat. I'll take the arms as trophies."

We did so and returned home.

"So let me get this straight." Crystal started, "You're saying that you tamed Abominable with an artifact, and your theory is that other artifacts can tame other creatures."

"It's a theory, yes," Care confirmed.

"So you're saying I can wander over to the Clever cave, get the artifact and tame a Theri and it will have super strength like Abominable does." She asked.

"Ummm, I don't know if that artifact can tame Theri's. We'd have to experiment with that."

"Well, in the meantime, I'm going to go explore a bit," I announced.

I hopped onto my Allo, Alpha, and dashed into the woods. I jumped over logs, around rocks, until there was a meadow with a large ravine with a creak in the middle. This area was riddled with Rex's.

I laid low and traveled to the top of the left ravine wall from where it began.

I traveled on at the lip of the cliff, taking note of every creature within it.

I kept on moving until I laid my eyes on a small island with the water of the creek surrounding it.

I saw something that almost glimmered.

Then I noticed it started to change colors.

I whipped out my radio at the speed of light.

"GUYS GUYS! I think I found an eerie!"

(Omni's perspective)

I snapped another of my rare carved pencils as Blue kept bothering me from his cage in the corner.

I was honestly more annoyed by the pencil snapping as they were hard to get down here. No trees grew so I'd have to go to the surface and get some. Penny was merely an irritating drone in the background of my thoughts as I wrote down all I'd learned about the insect life on the ark.

"Let me out!"

"No."

"You can't keep me down here forever!" he whined to me.

"Watch me."

"At least keep your stupid bugs away from me."

"I don't control them, they have free will."

"Well, 'free will' them to move!"

"That's not how that works, now will you stop whining or would you like to get today's dose of Vitamin D?" I threatened.

"Fine…" he grumbled.

I opened the cage as two Araneo's flanked him. I would use the Scorpions but I haven't tamed any yet, something I'd like to get started on.

I was just gathering my scattered supplies of meat and spoiled meat as my Araneo's and Arthro's were smart enough to nudge open a simple storage box, but weren't smart enough to know what 'Patience' is.

I had just collected a stack of meat when I heard a banging echo down the tunnel, I quickly had Blue returned to his cage and had my insects follow me to the large metal gate at the entrance to the cave.

I watched as the gate fell down, the gateway crumbled with it. Beyond my ruined doorway was a large Tek Bronto, behind the Bronto were 3 Tek Carno's and 3 Tek wolves, behind it all was a Tek scorpion with the Enforcer riding it.

The wolves and Carno's rushed in as the scorpion scuttled in behind them.

All my bugs stayed in the shelter of the cave since the Bronto couldn't stomp us in here.

We had already killed one wolf but the Carno's were plowing through my tames. We began to fall back just as the Bronto did something that shot a wave of energy in. (4) It killed 3 of my Araneo's with its tail from pretty far away… apparently it fires projectiles. Me and what was left of my squadron retreated to the safety of the cave where I had more defenses. I fired all my cannons at the Carno's, one misfired and hit a wolf injuring it immensely, but the others hit their target slightly injuring them.

I fired the ballista and pierced the injured wolf, this left two Carno's, the wolf and the scorpion, not to mention the enforcer himself.

The wolf squirmed around wildly before it slowly went limp and the blue light emanating from its core dissipated.

The wild and tamed insects started to rush the intruders once more as I landed on the back of one of the Carno's, ripped out the railgun on its head, and fired it into its mouth.

The other Carno's actually did a good job of mowing them down at the frontlines, but they didn't fare too well with the Arthro's acid blasts.

One of the Carno's legs actually dissolved and it fell to the ground to be torn to shreds by bats and Titanoboa's.

The last Carno backed away slowly and sprayed its rockets across the battlefield. I aimed my ballista directly at its face.

I fired and hit it straight through the eye, sending it backward impaling it into a rock behind it.

Now my next target was the Bronto.

I sped down my zipline with an Arthro acid-coated obsidian dagger I made and rushed toward the entrance.

The Bronto was waiting for me.

There were a couple of Arthro's following me that distracted the Bronto at first as I evaded its attacks.

I jumped onto the cliff behind it and then onto its tail from there.

I crawled up his tail onto its back and ran up its reck. Then with a swift slash, I decapitated the giant. The cut was so clean that the head stayed in place, but the neck slowly started to drop which made it fall, with the rest of the body following.

It almost crushed the Arthro's but they moved out of the way in time.

I returned to the cave to see how the rest of my creatures were faring against the lone Scorpion and its Tek rider.

The scorpion's tail barb was absent, probably one of the countless molten Tek puddles on the floor.

Atop the Tek scorpion, the enforcer climbed the wall to avoid my insect army, only to fail as they chased after him. He beelined it for me on the ground beside the mostly intact Carno corpse.

An Araneo webbed him at the perfect time to hit him but not the scorpion. He sailed off the scorpion and off into the chamber entrance.

As soon as that happened the scorpion collapsed onto its belly, its legs and claws and the remains of its tail splayed out around it.

"You won't win this. Leave now, while I still allow it." (5) I commanded the enforcer.

I turned away from him to face the army of wild scorpions, spiders, centipedes, snakes, and bats. However, after a moment they turned and slithered or crawled back into the other parts of the cave.

I had my Arthro's and Araneo's take the Tek Carno and wolf scrap that was usable and had them bring it to my base.

I turned to deal with the scorpion.

It looked up at me but didn't seem aggressive, nor defensive, it seemed passive. I noticed a lot of its shell was bent unnaturally, so I took compassion and began to straighten out the bent pieces. Some were harder than others, they were either thicker and needed more force to be corrected, or they folded so much that they went under the shell and pierced the metal-like skin.

I did the best I could with just my hands, but then I needed tools to finish the job. So I returned to my base to find piles of Tek everywhere. I then returned with the needed tools and began to straighten his plates. I then sent the Arthro's and Araneo's to disassemble the Bronto and to store its Tek. I actually did manage to find the Scorpion's tail, it wasn't a puddle of molten Tek as I'd thought, instead an Araneo must have ripped it off because it now resembled a ball of yarn with the amount of webbing coating it.

I took the severed tail, removed the webbing, and attempted to reattach it to the scorpion. However, when I had the barb in position, it merged with the tail and reattached itself, without me needing to do anything.

Once it was attached these small glowing panels on its body rapidly changed color, first green, then purple, then black, and then light grey, then the cycle repeated itself several more times.

I picked it up and brought it into my settlement, and laid it near one of my generators.

I took a jerry can from the generator's inventory and fed the scorpion.

It made a satisfied chittering sound and slowly picked itself up with its legs.

The dented plates I couldn't fix properly either straightened out or fell off being replaced with new plates generated from inside the scorpion.

It snapped its claws and crawled down the wall I built for my bugs.

He then approached the other bugs and they communicated with chittering and squeals.

"Welcome to the hive." I mused.

(Care's perspective)

I was gathering wood and thatch with my metal axe just outside our battlement for resources.

As I chopped down my last tree, I heard footsteps from ahead of me.

I whistled Arsenal to me and deployed the railgun on his head. I scanned across the wood where I heard the footsteps, only to see Omni and a couple of Arthro's following him, with Tek armor.

"What's this?" I asked with an excited tone.

"The enforcer decided to go toe to toe with me and my insect army, he brought a Tek Bronto and three Tek Carno's, this is what became of them."

Arsenal made a whimpering noise and stomped back.

"It's ok Arsenal, I would never hurt you," Omni reassured.

"So… why not armor?" I asked.

"Oh… I have other plans for my Tek." He mused with a smirk on his face.

Then there was some snapping and chittering behind the Arthro's.

"And he doesn't need armor…"

Then a Tek scorpion scuttled out from behind the Arthro's.

"Meet, S.S.T.A.N." he replied as he wrote the letters in the air.

"Stan… you couldn't have picked something cooler?"

"Snip Snap Take a Nap."

"I love everything about that."

"I knew you would." He chuckled.

Then our radios started to buzz wildly.

"GUYS GUYS! I think I found an eerie!" Mika's voice blared through the small speakers.

"Shall we?" Omni asked me.

"We shall."

Omni had left his Arthro's at our base. They wouldn't be as useful in taming as SSTAN, Omni admitted he hadn't trained them to knock out and then leave alone, he's trained them to kill.

We of course lent him some resources to craft a simple scorpion saddle.

"What is it?" I asked into the Radio.

"I'm not too sure yet, I just saw glowing and freaked out," Mika replied.

Omni riding his scorpion sped up a tad bit to keep up with me riding Kong, unlike Omni I brought my gorillas to subdue the eerie and allow us to tranq it.

I glanced over and noticed parts of Stan had changed color. Little lights on each segment of the tail, two long ones just above the legs on the sides, and two stripes on each claw, so that when the claws were closed it looked like one single line running along the tips.

The lights were green now when before they had been purple.

We dashed through the forestry toward Mika's coordinates until we reached a very large creek, with Rex's everywhere.

We ran up the top of the right cliffside, overlooking the creatures within the cliffside walls.

Both me and Omni pulled out our telescopes, nearly in unison.

I looked down to see a glowing creature on an island in the ravine, hidden in a bush.

I then heard a shout from across the ravine.

I lowered my scope to see Mika waving her hands in the air in front of her Allo.

Omni scuttled down the cliff and slowly floated across the river to cling to the cliff Mika was standing on.

I then followed, but Yeti caught the attention of the creature when he tumbled down the slope.

I then saw the creature slowly walk through the bush, snarling.

It slowly revealed its long jaws and its signature sail.

"Eerie Spino…" I muttered aloud.

Once it was completely revealed, it lowered itself to the ground, and then punched toward Yeti.

Yeti just punched it out of the way like it was nothing.

The Spino doubled over, but then rushed to its feet.

It quickly scanned over us and picked a target, in this case, it was Bigfoot.

Once I realized this, the Spino was already mid-air. But Yeti was too far away to protect and Bigfoot didn't have enough reaction time.

Just as the Spino was about to clamp down on Bigfoot, Alpha body slammed it away from her.

"You're welcome," Mika said before she rushed toward it with her rifle cocked.

Alpha hopped on a rock with Mika on top of him, aiming her gun at the Spino. She took a shot but it was obviously ineffective.

"Oh crap!" Mika exclaimed as she retreated with an eerie Spino chasing after her.

"I have an idea!" Omni exclaimed.

Then he waited for an opening and jumped onto the Spino while riding Stan.

Stan clamped down on the Spino's side and jabbed his jail prong into the Spino's flesh two times, then he shook him off and ripped Omni off the saddle.

He crunched Omni in his jaws which made him scream, then the Spino shook him side to side wildly.

Then he tossed him at a rock with such force, that I heard the crack of his bones upon contact.

Omni's flattened body slowly slid into the water, only to turn white and dissolve.

"Well that's unfortunate." I mused.

Then I noticed the Spino was starting to get tired as it squared off with Yeti and the monkeys.

"I think I know what Omni was doing," I said aloud.

Then I rushed over to Stan and mounted him, which he didn't appreciate so much.

I petted him and started to charge the Spino atop Stan whilst muttering to myself, "I can do this I can do this I can DO THIS!"

Then we jumped and landed on its rear this time.

The Spino bolted and started to jump around maniacally, kind of like riding a bull in a rodeo.

Stan jabbed his tail into it three times before we were flung off.

We dodged the Spino's first slap, but when it went for a second Stan jabbed its palm, almost impaling it through.

The Spino shrieked in pain and backed away, panting heavily from exhaustion.

We then charged and landed right on its side, stabbing it with Stans tail and claws upon contact.

The force of the impact caused the Spino to fall onto its side, and pass out.

"Snip snap take a nap." I mused before I let out an amused laugh.

"Dang," Mika started, "that was intense."

"I know right?" I responded.

Stan dislodged his appendages from the Spino and crawled off of it. I then dismounted and began to feed the creature.

It took several hours of feeding both meat and biotoxin, but it eventually tamed.

Once that happened, Omni flew in atop Judge.

"What did I miss?" He asked out of the blue.

"A lot, actually," I responded, gesturing to the eerie Spino I just tamed.

"Oh…" He trailed off.

"What took you so long?" Mika asked.

"The obelisk recreated me so far away... I tried to get here as quickly as possible."

"Well, not quick enough," I responded.

"You know that you can kind of choose where, all I understand is the obelisk will somehow know what you want, most times it'll oblique by reforming you near where you stare sometimes though it's random," Mika explained.

"Well… my several-hour-long journey was pointless…" Omni mumbled.

"What are you going to name him?" He asked.

"Riptide. My first Spino."

"And it's a fricken eerie? You suck." Mika mused.

"Thanks, Mik." I joked.

We dashed through the forest back to our base. Omni tagged along anyway just to see our progress.

There were several Rex's that we ran into that Riptide disposed of with ease.

We walked up to our battlement and started to walk in before we heard something.

Behind us were increasingly louder stomps. Riptide turned and growled in its direction.

Then from the midst of the deep forest, Doomsday appeared.

This time he was visibly larger, with Tek components fused into several parts of him, most notably his head and back.

He slowed down once he made it to our clearing and stood high.

Then his eyes started to glow and he let out the biggest roar I've ever heard before he charged right for us.

We got a lot of footnotes folks!

(1) So the typical setup for the Broodmother battle is a Yuty, one or two Doeds, and a bunch of Rex's. However, the ability of Doeds doesn't make sense logically. How does it heal nearby creatures? Jdog and myself had thought that they could release some sort of aroma that could heal nearby creatures but even that didn't make sense. So we have come to the conclusion the Doeds will not be in this story. They do still exist in this ark however, they just don't have their signature healing ability which renders them useless.

(2) So boss battles will be very different in this story than in the game. Instead of using the obelisk beacon to teleport to the dungeon, we will be making it so that the bosses live at the base of their respective obelisks. this also alters the terrain of the obelisk area. For example, the Broodmother den, which you access by climbing a large ramp to a flat plain inside the circular walls.

(3) So in-game, Yeti's are much more powerful than Gigantopithicus's even though they look exactly the same. For example, in-game, I was going into the strong cave on Kong until we ran into a Yeti. The Yeti had the exact same amount of health as Kong and he was only level 20 (Kong was LVL 450). So realistically, Yeti's would be bigger than monkeys because of how much stronger they are.

(4) The Tek Bronto's ability is when it does its tail swipe, it shoots a continuous ray of energy. Kind of like the dark star saber in Transformers Prime.

(5) Thor reference. "Go now, while I still allow it." -Laufey, Frost Giant king.
