Some of you pointed out the error I made in chapter 2. Thank you. The mistake has been corrected.Enjoy!

As I watched my sister disappear through the door, I finally allowed myself to let the tears I had been holding back, fall down my face.

My hands pushed my hair away from my face to keep my hair from sticking to it. Slamming my eyes shut as the tears kept slippicng out.

"Why the fuck is he back?" I gasped, as I felt myself behind to lose a grip on my emotions.

He was supposed to stay away.

I can't believe he is really going to put me through this shit.

Wait, were the walls closing in? Why was my head suddenly aching so bad, and parts in my body becoming numb?

"Isa? Isa?" I heard as I tried to stop myself from crying harder.

Is the floor shaking? Or is it just me?

"Hey, what happened to her?" My sister asked, scared.

"I don't know. Look, go back to the kids with Sergio and Rene, I think she needs time to herself." An unfamiliar smooth, deep voice said from somewhere above me.

"Will she be alright?" My sister asked quietly.

"Yes, she just needs to let it all out… Man, that dude put her through some shit huh?" The smooth, deep voice asked, concerned.

Shit doesn't begin to cover what that asshole has put me and the kids through. I reply needed to get my shot together and call my lawyer.

"More than that. He practically destroyed her. I think this guy is a fucking narcissistic prick. We need to help keep him away from her and the kids. Something isn't right about him." I heard my sister say.

"Count me in. I'll help anyone who's family to Gio. You should head back with the kids. Make sure they're ok too." The deep voice said.

"Thanks, Cris, you're a good man." My sister said before leaving.

I took a few more deep breaths before I slowly allowed my eyes to open. Sighing in relief when the room's walls stayed in their place.

"How are you feeling?" I heard as bottled water suddenly appeared before me.

I slowly took it, and took a few small sips, before lowering my hands back to my lap with the bottle settled between my legs.

"A little better. Thank you." I replied, cringing out how hoarse my voice sounded, before taking another sip of the water bottle. "Where is Pilar?" I asked, swallowing thickly before my eyes traveled to the stranger.

I held back a gasp as my eyes slowly made their way up the man's body. He was tall. Slightly taller than Edward. I looked leaner, much more muscular than Edward has ever been, and his skin is the color of caramel, free of blemishes too.

I could see a half-smile tugging on his lips as my eyes finally found his. I was surprised to find the same caramel mixed with chocolate color staring back at me.

"She went to check on the kids and Sergio, do you want to go back to them?" He asked me, with concern.

"Please. I need to check on my kids.." I replied, shooting to my fee, only for my head to end up colliding with his. "Mierda. Are you alright?" I asked as I held onto the top of my head as he held onto his jaw, amused. (Shit!)

"I'll survive. Come on. Let's go check on your kiddos." He said, chuckling, as he began guiding me out of the office.

I noticed the hallways were practically empty as we made our way back to the lounge.

As we arrived at the lounge, Natti rushed over to my side, pulling me into a tight hug, before stepping back, and eyeing me with concern.

"Hola, princesa, ¿te gustó conocer a los amigos de tu tío?" I asked, kneeling so I could be face to face with her. (Hi, princess did you enjoy meeting your uncle's friends?)

"Sí, todos son absolutamente geniales. Especialmente el Sr. Ronaldo." She replied with a dimpled grin, smiling up at the man next to us. (Yes, they're all absolutely great. Especially Mr. Ronaldo.)

"Me alegro de que pienses eso, Natti. Yo también creo que eres genial también, princesa." He said, kneeling down before her as well. (I'm glad you think so, Natti. I think you're great too, princess.)

She grinned delightedly before she turned to look at me with a frown. "Is our dad coming back again?" She asked, concerned.

"Er, why do you ask, baby?" I asked, taking her hand in mine.

"Well, because we saw him out there. Santi and I, we saw him. He looked mad. He always looks mad. Why was he here, momma? Is he here to see us again?" She asked, as her bottom lip began to tremble.

"I don't know, baby. But I promise everything will be alright. Don't worry about him, alright?" I whispered, pulling her into a hug. "Is your brother Santi alright?" I whispered in her ear.

"As soon as we walked in Uncle Gio took him for a walk, when they got back he seemed a lot better." She whispered back, before I stood up.

The clear response my kids had to his very presence, had me swallowing thickly as I turned to look away to keep a new wave of tears that suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks.

"It'll be ok." I heard Cris whisper to me, as he smiled down at Natti.

I hoped so. I truly did.
