So, theories? Who do you guess will become Rey's master? What about future pairings? Stay tuned. Thank you for reviewing.

Two weeks later, Rey was talking with Joyne. Their conversation wasn't rooted to the spot, meaning they were leisurely walking the halls of the temple. Rey was doing most of the talking, chattering away excitedly. She was bouncing off the walls thanks to her excitement, her heart so full it made her sick from the joy and happiness she currently felt. The reason why was simple: she was going to get a lightsaber tomorrow!

Indeed she had had lightsabers in the past, but she had never had her own crystal to make a special Rey Lightsaber with. She had only built the one weapon before now, and even that had been with the famous Blue Skywalker Crystal. Thankfully, she had been able to save it from the wreckage that landed on Crait's surface, as Rey would not have had any idea where to look for a crystal.

Back to the present, though, as Rey rambled on to Joyne about the upcoming trip to Illum. Joyne stayed silent and just eyed her amusedly, the corners of his lips curling up. "I can't wait! I wonder what colour mine will be?" Rey told him, desperately trying not to rush her speech in excitement. Joyne could tell she was in a very good mood, the force positively buzzing cheerfully around her.

"Well, statistically, it will be blue or green, but... I could see you with a purple, yellow or even an orange crystal," Joyne said thoughtfully, considering what he knew of Rey. "Mine was green."

"That makes sense. From what I have read you seem the green type. I personally think I'm going to get a yellow lightsaber crystal. I know there are meanings and things that come into play but just have this feeling. Perhaps it's a message from the force?" Rey said after thinking, that seeming right. Then she added, jumping around a little, "I'm so happy that my friends and Anakin are also coming!"
"Anakin is your friend too, right?" Rey nodded, wondering where this was going. "You won't get lonely then. I only had one friend when I was your age, he's off on a mission right now, but he's a bit older, like by half a year. Anyway, that meant he got to go get his lightsaber at a different time to myself. It was quite depressing and lonely to go all the way to Illum that time." Joyne looked pained for a moment, likely caught up in memories. "Master Yaddle took us, and she told me to cheer up or she'd force me to." he shuddered. "Force she's terrifying when she wants to be."
"You're my friend, too!" Rey said before she really thought about it. But, it was true, despite the fact she hadn't spoken to him (or his master) much since her arrival at the Coruscant Jedi Temple. "I have had some things about Yaddle. Someone said she had mastered the Hidden Technique called morichro?"

Joyne nodded to confirm her comment about Yaddle. "Thanks, Rey, but that isn't quite what I meant. You're an interesting friend to have, though. There has been much talk about you, recently," Joyne said. "Everyone heard of you helping that little girl... Ahsoka, wasn't it?" Rey nodded again. "I remembered! That reminds me... your progression in training has also spread like wildfire. You are quite the enigma, now. Everyone talks about you, Rey."

He was quite proud of how far she had come in such a short period of time. Rey grinned, wiggling excitedly, making Joyne laugh. Rey then flushed, embarrassed. She couldn't contain her excitement.

Rey thought about how she had enjoyed the last week. Throughout that week, she had mainly concentrated on learning, and she had learnt so much. She had decided to step back from reading for a while to enjoy life until after Illum. It was not like she was having much luck in her discrediting Palpatine scheme.

Rey had turned bright red a few times while she spent time with Ahsoka. She had been so mortified she thought she would die: there was so much she didn't know which was taught to the creche children, and it was embarrassing when she didn't know it. On the bright side, Rey was progressing quickly, except for meditation, of course. Rey closed her eyes tightly, pained, recalling how much trouble she had been in for blowing up and accidentally rearranging the classroom the other day.

Rey hadn't progressed much with finding things to use against the wannabe emperor unless you counted somewhat suspect bills before that. But even then, none suspect enough to plant much distrust, certainly not enough for a senator, law-abiding Jedi or her brother.

Rey felt sick at that thought, recalling Anakin's mention of the chancellor the other day. She was sure she had paled as she stopped to stare. Already, Anakin was falling under Palpatine's thumb, and he'd only met him a couple of times. She had to work fast.

"Are you alright?" Joyne asked worriedly, making her realise she was still walking with him.

Rey blushed. "Yes, sorry," she shook her head. They continued on their way, Rey's thoughts returning to the sith lord.

It surprised Rey to learn that Palpatine had met with Anakin a few times in the week between their arrivals. He was apparently 'helping' him settle in as Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon needed to settle into their new living arrangements. She shouldn't be surprised, though. From the start he must have had his eye on him, she realised that with the proof waving in front of her.

If It wasn't for the fact she had company, (yes, she remembered,) Rey would have growled: she instead clenched her jaw and formed a fist behind her back, instead. Over her dead body would Palpatine get Anakin! Even if she had to knock Anakin out and send him to the other side of the galaxy while she dealt with the Sith Lord, he wasn't getting him.

Even if it meant pulling the evil maniac off a building plunging them both to death, or some sort of suicide tactic like the Holdo Manoeuvre (as they had called Amilyn Holdo's move to save the resistance) with a ship, Rey would do it in a heartbeat. It was scary how far she was willing to go for her twin, and she was even more terrified when she realised she had no idea what the point was.

Speaking of Anakin, she felt a twinge of fondness and soon her mood shifted as she thought of him. She felt as though she was quite close to him now: it had even been noticed and commented on by a few people. A few Jedi sent them knowing smiles when they saw them together talking. Padawans and Knights who hadn't worked it out looked at them curiously, and the initiates ever didn't care or thought it was a great idea, none of them working out they were twins. That was the common thought in the Wookie Clan, and they all thought with those connections, she'd certainly get someone to take her on as a padawan. Not that it was Rey's intention, though.

As Rey and Anakin had commented on during their talk last night, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan still seemed oblivious to the fact Anakin and Rey were twins. Apparently, they kept making comments about their friendship which were a source of embarrassment for Anakin. Being the supportive sister she was, Rey laughed when Anakin told her some of the stories, saying it served him right.

In all honesty, though, Rey wasn't quite sure why he hadn't told them yet, but Anakin said he had his motives. In the meantime, Rey was getting a source of amusement from his stories. She just hoped it wouldn't come back to bite either of them later on.

Joyne asked her a question then. It took Rey a while to answer, being deep in thought. "How I find it all? I, I'm finding it all really easy, I guess. I don't think that's anything to write home about, though," Rey said quickly, giving him a small shrug. "It's quite a different life to what I'm used to."

"Others beg to differ," was all Joyne replied with, smiling at her humbleness. Then he asked after a few seconds of silence, leaning closer to whisper, "Is Anakin your brother?" Rey stared at him.
"Yes, he is," Rey said after a pause, getting over her silent gasp and stomach jump. She asked, "How did you guess?"
"You have the same surname for a start, not to mention similar origins. The council agreed with my master and myself suggested the possibility you were related, and I assume the test we took you to the Healer's Ward for was to compare and find that out," Joyne said with a knowing smile. "Force-sensitive twins are rare and said to be special in some way. We wondered, but my master and I haven't had the opportunity to confirm it until now. We dare not ask the council."
"I'm not sure about that, but hopefully I can find out," Rey answered, keen to learn about her connection with her brother. She wondered what it could mean if that was true.

"There you are, Joyne! Don't you remember we were to meet in the sparring hall? And Rey! Lovely to see you again!" Ne'ilk's voice rang out. "I thought you'd forgotten about us!"

"Master Ne'ilk!" Joyne and Rey exclaimed, spinning around to see him walking towards them, Ne'ilk wearing a big grin.
"Yes, we were talking," Joyne explained. "You didn't give me enough to do, so I went for a stroll: I had the time. I ran into Rey and, as you can see, we got chatting!"
"That's fine, I wasn't having a go at you. In fact, I was just thinking it would be good to catch up with our young friend here," Ne'ilk said, chuckling and looking slightly offended by his padawan's defensiveness as he lazily gestured his hand at Rey.

"Nice to see you again, sir," Rey nodded.

"And you, Rey. I hear you have been doing well with your training: very rare for Master Yoda to speak so highly of someone he doesn't completely approve of," Ne'ilk smiled.

"Really? Why doesn't he approve of me?" Rey asked curiously, already having some ideas. Like, her admission age. She thought it more appropriate to ask, and she wanted to know.
"Nothing you can help. Despite the fact they accepted you into the order, the council still are not that happy with having not one, but two, Jedi Younglings join the order after the cut off age," Ne'ilk said casually, thinking a lot of the council was acting like a bunch of five-year-olds over it. Ne'ilk wasn't sure he thought they should let older children in all the time, but for people as powerful as the Skywalkers, it would be pure stupidity not to.

"If he's holding that against me, why didn't he just say no, go jump? He is master of the order or something, so if he had that much of a problem, couldn't he just put his foot down and say no?" Rey asked, genuinely puzzled, scratching her head. "Or is his title more just that... a title?"

"Master Yoda does get the final say, Rey. However, how the order works and how it always has is fair votes and discussions at meetings. Apparently, many were happy to allow you in. Yoda, along with most of the council to be fair, is more resentful of the other Skywalker than you, to be fair. Some carry it over, though," Ne'ilk said, trying and most likely failing to explain how the enigma called Master Yoda worked. It didn't bother him too much, though, Rey would work it out.

"I see. But what did my brother do to deserve that?" Rey asked as her face fell, feelings of unfairness and a slight want of justice for Anakin entering her. That was so unfair! She couldn't help it, she had to voice her displeasure about it. "It's outrageous! It's unfair!" She scowled.

"The attachment to yours and his mother, I think. You'd be best off asking him yourself, or maybe even Master Qui-Gon or Kenobi: they'd know, or so I'd think," Ne'ilk said, crossing his arms, going into a thoughtful position. "That kind of outburst is not befitting of a Jedi, Rey."

"I just might. Even if they have good reason to feel that way, they should treat him equally and fairly! I have heard of many people talking badly about Anakin behind his back. The council must be treated him differently if they are resentful," Rey spat, unable to hide the anger and bitterness, bitter tears falling: she wasn't quite sure why. "I don't care. We can't be perfect all the time."

"Fair enough." Joyne washed his hands of telling Rey that her outburst was not very Jedi. "Perhaps you are correct: good luck getting the Council to change how they feel and think. Be aware, to an extent, you can't change them. It's nothing short of a miracle of the force you both have been allowed in," Joyne said, finding himself agreeing with Rey. He didn't have the heart to tell her she was not behaving like a Jedi, unlike his master. To be fair, Joyne believed his master mentioned it for Rey's future benefit.

"I suppose. Still not fair," Rey grumbled with a scowl.

"Even with that, Rey, Anakin has plenty of people to look out for him. He has your support for a start, and hopefully his master's, too. If the midi-chlorian count of the pair of you is anything to go by, you and your brother are destined for great things. The council will appreciate that one day," Ne'ilk said, feeling awkward and sounding even more so. He wasn't sure why he was saying this, but the force led him to tell her that, so he followed its advice. He laughed at the scenario the force played before him: "Maybe you'll save us all from extinction one day: they'd have to appreciate and be glad for the decision then." Unbeknownst to Ne'ilk, he had just glimpsed the Jedi's potential end.

"Thank you." Rey nodded. She thought, recalling the order's extinction, "If only you knew the danger we are in. If I don't stop him, we Jedi have numbered days."
"Rey!" two voices called out. Rey looked around to see Sati and Mumba coming to join them at a run. They looked as though there were in a hurry, which concerned Rey, her heart missing a beat. What had happened? What had she forgotten? She started internally panicking badly.

"There you are!" Mumba said, puffing. "Err, hello, Masters." Poor Mumba was not blessed with a lot of stamina, which may affect his future with the Jedi.
"Hello, Master Ne'ilk and Master Joyne," Sati said, bowing respectably. It seemed something in her culture or bred into her was the bow to seniors. Rey had noticed this with higher-ranked Jedi, and even some of the older younglings. Sati was the only person Rey knew at their age to do it.

"Hello, Initiates," the other two nodded with warm smiles.

Mumba turned to Rey, "We were looking for you, Rey. Would you like to come and study with us?" he asked, jerking his head the way they came from.

Sati was staring at Rey with big puppy eyes, making Rey feel guilty and horrible of even considering the possibility of saying no. "Yes, us Wookies decided we wanted to finish our homework before our trip tomorrow and I wanted to find you to invite you to join us. You don't have to come if you don't want to, though," Sati added, looking away shyly. She felt as though Rey had been a bit distant this last week, meaning Sati was keen for Rey to join them for a catch-up.

"Okay. I think I will," Rey nodded, not having any idea on how long they'd be gone. It would certainly beat returning and having to do homework as she was walking into a class or something. Besides, they looked so hopeful she'd join them.

"Well, we will see you when you return, Rey," Joyne said. "Have a safe journey."

"Yes, see you then! Bye, Master Joyne, bye, Master Ne'ilk," Rey smiled. "I'll tell you if it is yellow or not, Joyne."

After Sati and Mumba said goodbye, the three young Jedi walked to the library. "I am super looking forward to getting my own lightsaber!" Mumba said enthusiastically. Rey nodded, agreeing with Mumba.

Mumba, for as long as he could remember, had wanted a lightsaber. To him, that was the best part of being a Jedi. He would like to become a Knight, but as long as he got the iconic Jedi Weapon, he'd be happy to go into the Service Corps.

"Ditto." Rey smiled.

"Yes, same. Somewhat sadly, I already know what colour mine will be. It seems because we are like plants, zelosians always have green lightsabers. Although, a couple have had brown ones according to the records," Sati stated rather eagerly. While she didn't know anything about her parentage, Sati was keen on learning as much as she could about her race. Who knew? It could save her in the long run.

"Brown? Yuck!" Mumba said distastefully, looking rather disgusted. He hated brown and avoiding wearing brown like the plague. Rey could recall him saying he'd rather wear nothing than that colour, hence why he was one of the few younglings dressed in white and black.

Rey looked thoughtful. "Maybe you'll be different? But green would suit you if what I read is true," Rey put in, considering what she knew. Sati seemed like she could become a Consular type of Jedi, meaning green would suit her well.

"Perhaps. Anakin Skywalker is also coming, right?" Rey nodded. "Cool: I'd like to meet him," Sati said honestly with a strange expression crossing her face. At times like this, Rey wondered if Sati had a small crush on her brother. It was possible, wasn't it? Not that she knew much about Sati's race from that side of things or full stop.

Rey couldn't help it: she brightened up at the mention of Anakin. "Yes. I'll have to introduce you all," Rey said, grinning broadly.

Then something dawned on her, and memory flashing before her. The pain and regret with not confiding in Finn and Poe with her heritage came back to her, and right then she decided to not repeat history with Sati and Mumba. "There is something I have been meaning to tell you..." Rey started, drifting off, her stomach churning as she felt extremely anxious. Rey wasn't sure why: it wasn't like she had to tell them she was a Sith Lord's Granddaughter, unlike last time.

"What is it?" Sati asked, tilting her head, looking at Rey curiously. Mumba looked much the same.

"Well... Anakin and I, you see: we- we're twins," Rey managed to get out, feeling a weight she hadn't known existed get lifted off her shoulders.
"What?! Twins?" Sati blurted, shocked. She was struck dumb for a few minutes, trying to say a few things but nothing came out. Rey was surprised: out of all the people to have that reaction, she would not have expected that.

"I wondered," Mumba nodded, a triumphant look crossing his features.

"Hang on!" Sati exclaimed after thinking for a moment. "I have a friend -a knight- who records conversations between people: she doesn't listen in though just by the way. Anyway, I asked her about who you talked to every night. When I mentioned to her, Master Allie this is, that you talk to someone every night, she told me you talked to Anakin. I may have also expressed concern and dying interest in who you talked to as well.. but still! Force, I feel so stupid!" Sati exclaimed, going red, diverting her eyes from Rey. Anywhere but Rey. "Why did you wonder, Mumba? This seems like a moment of brilliance for you."

Mumba chuckled. "It is. It occurred to me how odd it was that out of all the people to become friends with, Rey becomes friends with Anakin Skywalker of all people. So with all of this, I considered two possibilities: you had some kind of force dyad thing, soulmate thingy, or you were related. Related makes more sense since you look similar and share a name."
Sati said, smiling, "Very clever, Mumba." Sati looked impressed.

Mumba's expression changed to resemble someone struck by lightning, then he cried out making the girls both jump and look at him confusedly. "Force! One of my good friends is the sister of the most famous and envied Padawan of the Jedi Order, and the other is friends with a Jedi Knight!" Mumba exclaimed rather loudly. "Why didn't you tell us, Sati? You could have mentioned it one of the times we remarked upon Rey hanging around Anakin."

Fortunately, no one else was around, or he would have received a few glares. Knowing Mumba, that could have had an interesting reaction.

Rey considered her two friends. While she was friendly with everyone in the Wookie Clan, she had formed a good friendship with these two. They were good to be around with Mumba making life fun and interesting, he could be a bit dull-witted and have loud outbursts. On the other hand, Sati was just that one good friend, along with the one who had the intelligent answers to most of the questions. She was glad she had become friends with Sati, and Rey was glad Sati had invited Mumba to sit with them, thus starting a friendship with him.

Sati scowled at Mumba. "Hey! Rey is also friends with that Master Ne'ilk and his padawan!" Sati said indignantly.

"I'm on good terms with Ne'ilk only, but yes, I am friends with Joyne! He was very nice to me when I first came here. They seemed to understand my woes, too!" Rey exclaimed, sticking up for herself, letting out a deliberately loud huff.

She then retorted, "But don't get all indignant: it's not like you ever mentioned knowing Master Allie to us."

"I wonder if Kenobi and Joyne know each other? They're a similar age, and Kenobi has only just become a knight..." Mumba wondered aloud, tactfully changing the subject.

"No idea. I can ask next time I see Joyne," Rey offered, not thinking about it until now. Now, the thought had grabbed her and it would not leave her alone. It was not likely considering there were so many Jedi one couldn't possibly know them all, but she wondered.

"They could, though unlikely. But why do you want to know?" Sati asked. She then suggested, amusement filling her voice, "Do you want to set up a database of who knows who?"
"Just curious," Mumba huffed. By this point, they had arrived at the archives and thus stopped all forms of conversation, with fear of upsetting Master Nu or the other visitors of the archives.

################################################

The next day, Rey, Sati, Anakin, Mumba, and some other initiates from other clans stood outside the Crucible, waiting for their Jedi escort who would take them to Illum to arrive. The Crucible was the ship used to ferry the younglings between the temple and Illum, but they couldn't board it until the Knight or Padawan arrived. All ships were locked and younglings were not allowed keys.

The Illum system was within the vile Unknown Regions, meaning they had to use a carefully charted path to get there in one piece, something Rey knew from experience. As far as she knew, Illum wasn't as far in as Exegol, at least.

Very few Jedi Ships had the charted path in their system apart from the Crucible, with the only other record in the high-security vault of the temple. At least, that was the story according to a particularly loud zebrak from another clan. Rey didn't know if the person in question was reliable.

Because the total amount of initiates including all the clans was over a hundred, the younglings were taken to Illum in groups at intervals to do with the solar cycle. They only discovered this morning that was what was happening. Fortunately, Rey, Sati, Mumba and Anakin were in the same group. They were to be taken by a Padawan or Jedi Knight to the planet, where they would meet Master Yoda and someone (or something) called Professor Huyang, who would explain what happened next.

Rey brushed down her black outfit, deciding to go for dark. Funnily enough, Rey's friends except for Sati, who wore traditional brown, wore dark colours, with Mumba also dressed in black and Anakin dark grey. Rey had her blonde hair tied in a ponytail. Unlike Sati who had gone to the effort of doing a crown braid, Rey didn't really care much for hairstyles. In a few years, Rey may go back to her three buns, though.

A few minutes later, while Sati and Anakin argued about something, (Rey couldn't even remember what,) a man with short black hair came up toward the ship. He was sporting a slightly disgruntled expression. Rey wondered if this was their escort, as he was coming this way.

"You know, I am seriously regretting introducing Sati and Anakin," Rey sighed, leaning towards Mumba so the duo in question didn't hear. As soon as she introduced them she regretted it. For some reason, Anakin was very hostile towards her good friend. Their arguing was upsetting her to the point she felt sick and wanted to cry and tell the pair of them to go away. She didn't quite of the guts to do it, worrying she'd really upset them.

"What are they even arguing about again?" Mumba asked, scratching his head, looking between the two and Rey.

"No idea: something about the maximum speed of pods for podracing, I think," Rey said. Then she asked, "Why is she even reading up on these things for, anyway?"

"I have no idea." Mumba shook his head, recalling how they were arguing about something to do with ships a moment ago. "I think she was interested in going into Research Corps at one point... maybe she figures she needs to know this sort of thing for that? Or maybe it's like your interest in politics."
"Right," Rey nodded, thinking about how impressive that in ten minutes they had been waiting, Anakin and Sati had found two different but related things to get into an argument about. She hadn't said either way, but Rey was kind of glad it was assumed politics were an interest.

"Hey!" the black-haired man Rey had noticed before called. "Silence!" he then shouted, finally stopping the chattering initiates.

"Thank you. Now, you all are headed for Illum, correct?" he asked and everyone nodded. "Okay, that's good. I'm Alex Rynol, a Jedi Knight. I have been away recently to Alderaan and came back just today, so you will have likely not seen me before, certainly not much. You were originally supposed to be escorted by another, but she came down with something unexpectedly, so I agreed to step up. Hurry along and get on board, we don't need to wait."

Rynol wanted to sigh, but he restrained himself. He didn't mind escorting these kids, per se, however, he wasn't keen on the idea of spending the next week on freezing Illum when he had just gotten back. Not to mention, he was a little disgruntled that he hadn't had much choice in the matter: Rynol had been asked in a way that said 'you can't refuse.'

Everyone nodded and scurried along to get inside the crucible, no one wanting to get left behind. Rynol stopped Anakin to talk to him; Rey's heart filled with concern as she hoped it was nothing bad. He had a friendly expression and voice when he stopped him, but she couldn't help it.

Anakin came bounding up behind a minute later, exclaiming very excitedly, "I'm gonna co-pilot!"
"Really?" Rey said, widening her eyes, feeling shocked and surprised. She struggled to believe it, but she was glad. Hopefully, this would show him the Jedi did see and encourage his talents. "I'm jealous!" she said enviously.
"If you asked I'm sure Master Rynol would let you have a turn, too," Anakin suggested a twinge of guilt flushing through him. He wasn't sure why. Perhaps he was worried she would get mad, as a clenching feeling wormed into his chest and stomach.

"Maybe I will later," Rey nodded, smiling. "Still: you are lucky to just get invited like that."

"You did blow up a droid control ship, so it makes sense he might ask," Sati said smartly. "They're probably lining you are up for piloting or something."

"By the way, Anakin: blowing up that ship is super cool!" Mumba said starstruck. He tried to work out how Sati felt about Anakin. He was pretty sure she didn't mind him albeit very defensive, despite the fact he was very cold towards her. Anakin smiled warmly and the two engaged in a short conversation.

Rey had similar thoughts and couldn't blame her. Sati was probably a bit envious of Anakin, but because he was Rey's brother, Sati was trying to bury her feelings on the subject. Mumba thought Sati even argued with Anakin despite knowing she was wrong, desperate to get one above him anyway.

They were brought back into the present as Rynol closed the airlock and outside doors, stopping Mumba and Anakin's conversation prematurely. "Here we are: feel free to make yourself at home, younglings. Mr Skywalker, with me: we shall do the take-off preparations. As for the rest of you: we will be back when we reach the hyperspace lane," Rynol said, alerting them all to the fact he had boarded the ship and closed the door and airlock. "After that, I can give you a tour, assuming I can remember the layout," Rynol added, finishing his sentence humorously, causing everyone to at least smile.

All the initiates decided to sit down, some deciding to play games while Anakin and Rynol headed to the front. Rey, Mumba and Sati sat at a table together, talking about senators, and tried to decide their favourites. Despite it all, Rey had to say Bail Organa. The other two gave their choices, and thanks to her reading, she was familiar with both names. She felt victorious at that. The other two just rolled their eyes, Mumba muttering something like, "Smart arse."

Mumba liked the senator from Aleen, while Sati really liked Feenix's senator. She did agree with his views, not that Mumba had any reason. Neither of them knew much about either senator, which wasn't surprising as those two took an interest in politics, and neither had a sith lord to bring down, fortunately for them. Rey couldn't help herself: she told them about the senators in in-depth detail.

Half an hour to an hour later, (Rey wasn't sure exactly, as they had gotten an argument over who was next to join the council when someone died) Anakin and Rynol came out. Rey thought she may have noticed the subtle jerk in the ship as it jumped into hyperspace, but she had honestly been too busy talking to notice. Since when had she liked talking so much? Before now, Rey had always been considered quiet. Anakin immediately came over and sat down next to Mumba, who budged up to give him enough room.

"How was it?" Rey asked, leaning in and looking at him intently.

"Good, thanks. What were you talking about?" Anakin asked, glancing between them. He was dying to know, recalling how they had been talking rather heatedly before he turned up.

"Who would join the council if, let's say Master Yaddle fell off her perch tomorrow," Mumba answered happily. He continued, "My guess would be Stass Allie."
"Mine was Qui-Gon Jinn," Rey explained her reasoning. "Considering he's paralysed and can't do much, he'd be a good member. Anyway, considering that, I thought putting him on the council would be a nice change." Rey then paled, realising she may have accidentally upset Anakin. Her heart quickened as she quickly said, "I hope I didn't offend you with that, Anakin."

"Fair enough. No, you haven't, Rey," Anakin said warmly, making Rey instantly feel better. He was a bit confuses why she thought it would in the first place. He liked Qui-Gon, but he wasn't that close to him or Obi-Wan.

"Though the council wouldn't do that as he is always butting heads with them. According to Stass, he was offered a seat but turned it down. My guess is that lady who teaches us... what's her name again?" Sati said, looking irritated she couldn't remember. "Damn." She used a native swear word.

"Sati!" Mumba exclaimed, shocked. "That is so unlike you." Sati stuck her tongue out at him

"Storm something," Rey helpfully supplied, desperately keeping a stone face. "What about you Anakin?"
"No idea, haven't really thought about it," Anakin said, smiling sheepishly, looking away.

"What about senators? Do you have a favourite senator?" Mumba asked, trying to engage him with something else. He, Sati and Rey spoke all the time they could easily think of things to say, but Anakin was not lucky. As a result, Mumba wanted to include the other boy if possible.

"I quite liked the old Naboo Senator: who is the senator for that planet now? Anyway, Palpatine was very kind to me when I thought arrived," Anakin said, happy he had an answer. His face turned to worry for Rey, -along with the other two- noticed her face and looked towards her. At the mention of Palpatine, she paled considerably, looking as though she would faint or be sick. She seemed to be staring through them, too.

"Are you alright, Rey?" Sati asked, touching her to bring her back.

"Yes, sorry, just got distracted. Naboo reminded me of my orphanage blowing up," Rey lied, hoping it was believable. She cursed, thinking she needed to be more careful. "My favourite senator is Bail Organa. That might be because I'm obsessed with the planet, though." Her mood lifted as she talked about something else.
"Alderaan, right? It's supposed to be pretty, I think... and... quite cold? Cooler than Tatooine, anyway," Anakin said, trying to scrape his brain for information on the planet.
Rey snorted. "That wouldn't be hard."

Sati had a dreamy expression. "That's correct, Anakin. The alps are supposedly to die for," Sati supplied longingly. She really, really wanted to go there someday.

"I want to go there!" Rey said dreamily, remembering it had always been a dream for her. An impossible dream in her time, but a dream all the same. The planet, despite being destroyed long before her birth, had been talked about a lot by visiting pilots, thus Rey had heard a lot about Alderaan.
Now, she had the chance. She wasn't going to let it slip, Rey decided. She would see Alderaan while she had the chance.

Next chapter we have the rest of the journey and a little update with a Sith Lord. Nothing much, but feel free to suggest other viewings with dear ol Sidious. *cackles evilly.* I may not get his character correct, but I do like writing him. It'll be in the next double update, but I can't wait to show you Illum. I am really happy with what I did, and I feel it's quite powerful.

Did you see the quote in this? When I realised I almost had put it in, I decided to complete it. morichro (which may or may not be it's name) is not a canon ability, but I liked the sound of it when I read the article on a none canon source. I'll add details to it if your interested and don't want to do your homework.

So we have two hidden force things, Morichro and force healing. I did say another potential one, but I forgot.
