Chapter 6! This is going by pretty fast since I'm rolling these out. I'd say only 3 or 4 chapters left until the end. Hope y'all enjoy!

Chase walked out the lookout without anyone noticing. He saw Ryder in the front with three criminals "again...thank you for this opportunity." Hubcap thanked.

Chase walked up to them. "Hello..." Chase greeted. As much as he despised them he didn't want to be at war with them. They all nodded. "We'll be on our best behavior." Hubcap assured looking at Dwayne. He clearly didn't agree. "Alrighty, let's make this as easy as possible." Chase smiled leading them inside.

The pups stopped what they were doing. "Pretty sure you guys know each other." Chase said.

"Hey Rocky." Sweetie says. Skye got up and stomped over to her. "You say one mo-

Chase stepped in between the two small dogs. "Don't let her get into your head." Chase said trying to calm Skye down

"So as most of you know they'll be helping us catch Gasket. She's clearly getting out of hand since her break in 2 days ago. I fear she might be going down a one way path." Ryder said. He looked at the criminals. "You guys hungry?" He asks trying to earn their trust to squeeze out every bit of info they had. They both nodded and Ryder went to go grab some bowls. Chase showed them to the table. All the pups sat around the two. Chase looked around and noticed Sweetie was missing. He caught her scent and started to follow it. Turns out she was outside locking eyes with a familiar criminal. "What are you looking at?" Chase asked.

"Over there... that is your criminal right?" Sweetie said looking at a rooftop.

Chase scanned the far rooftops and to his surprise she was right. Gasket was on a building looking at them. "She's very arrogant." Sweetie states as she heads back inside.

They walked inside and saw that Ryder was waiting for them. "Alright, Rocky you're with us." Ryder said as he walked up the stairs.

Sweetie gave Rocky a light push. "Don't do that." He said. Skye couldn't do anything but watch.

In his office they saw everything they had. "Alright, Dwayne Hubcap, what do you know?" Ryder asked.

"She's a criminal? That's a dumb question. It's so vague. What do you want to know?" Hubcap scoffed.

Ryder didn't give it much thought. "Where do you think she could be hiding?"

Dwayne shrugged. Hubcap sighed knowing he would be doing most of the work. "When we were younger and very immature. So one day we decided to head out into the woods and we stumbled apon this abandoned mansion high up in the mountains. It's just there. No trees no nothing. We made a promise that that is where our epic villain base would be." Hubcap suggested giving them a background on the spot. Ryder nodded. "Right, if we give the police this info they could deal with that and we can focus on protecting the town." Ryder spoke.

"Alrighty, Chase would you might showing them around. Getting them comfy. Sweetie and Rocky, you two have to help me with something." Ryder said staying vague about the liquid.

Chase was going to protest but he needed to give Ryder some space to finally get something going. Chase trotted downstairs and everyone was occupied. He heard a ring at the door. "I'll get it." Chase said to an empty audience.

"Oh... Iris. Didn't expect to see you here." Chase nervously chuckled. Chase was internally questioning himself in why he was so nervous when it came to her. He ruled out the possible live interest factor on day 1.

"Thought I'd stop by. Say hey ya know." She said looking nervous herself. Chase looked behind to see Hubcap and Dwayne patiently waiting. "I'm sorry but if you asked if I wanna hang out I can't. I'm not supposed to tell anyone bu..." Chase stopped himself from speaking. 6 months ago is where he started this mess. All because of blind stupid love. He regrets telling Gasket about the diamond, if he didn't disobey Ryder none of this would've happened. "...I'm sorry, last time I said something like what I was about to say it released a dangerous criminal. Now I'm babysitting..." Chase sighed.

"Puppies?" Iris asked.

"Grown dogs..." Chase sheepishly corrected.

Iris nodded. "I just wanted to see if you'd wanna hang out before I head out of town." Iris said.

Chase felt even worse. He made a sizzling noise. "Stay right here." Chase said as he left the door open and ran upstairs.

"Ryder sir... I know this doesn't seem like a good time to be asking this but Iris is at the front door and she's going to be leaving town and I was-

"You were wondering if you could go? Sorry but no." Ryder instantly replied.

"Please sir? If I gets the pups permission first and I promise to be back in like 2 hours." Chase added.

"Fine... if they escape its on you to find them." Ryder sighed hoping he doesn't regret this. Chase hurried down the stairs. "Hey guys... do you two mind hanging out with Dwayne and Hubcap? Just for two hours. I have to go be somewhere." Chase offered. "Sure"Marshall accepted.

"What about our things?" Everest asked.

"Come in its only two hours. We can stick our necks out for a bit. Plus Chase has never lied so why would he lie now?" Marshall replied. Everest sighed. Chase brought the two criminals over and sat them with the rest. "Behave you two! Don't be mean to them or else..." Chase says as he backs up to the door. "Shall we?" He asked as he stood to Irises left side.

Chase decided to open a conversation. "So, what city do you plan on taking over next?" Chase asks.

"Not foggy bottom, they have the second best herding dog in California who is scarily close to my level." Iris chuckled. "What next mystery do you plan on solving?" Iris asked returning the favor.

Chase thought about it. "Maybe I'll work on not being so gullible and naive. I was a helping role in this mess." Chase sighed.

Iris toilets her head. "You helped Gasket?"

"On accident." Chase bitterly replied.

Chase noticed Iris looked very anxious. "What's wrong?" Chase asked.

"I uh... since you know how I was with the mayor? Well um... I heard a rumor that they were planning on taking down the Paw patrol once this mess is over. It's only a light rumor no need to worry about it." Iris assured.

Chase looked at her with a confused face. He doubted every reason why the paw patrol could get defunded. Single handedly better than the police department, probably better and cheaper than them too. He shrugged it off knowing it won't happen. "What's the plan for two hours?" Chase asked wondering where they were heading.

"Disney land." Iris sarcastically said.

"So...You uh..you went to jail cause of us...no hard feelings." Marshall chuckled patting Hubcaps back. "We're cool. Not sure about grumpy though." Hubcap replied referring to Dwayne who clearly looked annoyed. The pups looked at him and he seemed to get more annoyed. "You guys have a terrible boy to girl ratio. There's like... 5 boys and 2 girls." Hubcap states.

"Yeah... I mean boys are better than girls at most things." Rubble cockily said.

"What was that?" Everest asked angrily.

"I said boys are better than girls at most things, I'm pretty sure if Rocky or Chase had the training they could do your job." Rubble replied.

Marshall nudged Rubble to stop talking but he kept going. "So what are you saying? The girls are expendable?" Skye asked joining Everest's side.

Rubble nodded. "You're expendable to! Rocky already does your job." Everest said trying to get under his skin. "N-no...

"Okay can we stop arguing? We have guests you three act like children?" Marshall asks in disappointment. "Yeah Dudes, when Chase isn't around you guys go cwazy." Zuma chuckled. Rubble, Skye, and Everest stopped their talking and tried to think of a counter point but there was none. "Right so...how did you two meet?" Marshall asked.

"In an alley as pups." Hubcap replied.

"Oh." Marshall said not expecting such a short answer.

"Why? how did the paw patrol come to be?" Dwayne asked curiously. He still stuck to his annoyed facial expression.

"It started off with Chase being Ryder's dog, just at an academy for police training since his dad was a cop. When Chase got back... know what I'm not sure in their whole part and how they got the lookout. Then came me. I was sorta of the joke at the fire station so when I was offered the spot on this team I took without hesitation. Then Ryder planned on more members. He had an entire list of jobs." Marshall explain hinting towards passing the story to Skye. "Then came me, I sorta had a thing for flying and when I heard about the Paw patrol in need of a pilot I was all in. Plus I came from a family of wealth and it was extremely boring." Skye said explaining her reasoning.

"Then Wocky joined but he's not hewe so we'll skip to me. I'm Zuma and I was supposed to be hewe as a side job. I originally lived with my pawents. Turns out living here was a lot better." Zuma said.

"Then I'm the last one of the original 6 members. It was pretty simple. I was playing with a ball and wandered off onto the property. Chase was attempting to kick me out for trespassing but Ryder saw something in me." Rubble said.

Hubcap tilted his head. "So all of this happened in like one year?" He questioned. "More like a year and a half."

"Six months later I joined! I lived in the south pole in my own. I saved a friend of theirs. I usually live with him up in the mountains." Everest said putting her part in.

"That's basically it. There are three others but they aren't here at the moment." Marshall said.

"Is that why Chase is such a suck up to Ryder?" Dwayne insulted.

Marshall wasn't really okay with how he worded it."I wouldn't say it that way ju-

"Yeah basically." Everest agreed. She looked over to Marshall with a smirk. He simply rolled his eyes and shrugged it off.

"Alright sweetie, do you have any information on what this it?" Ryder said putting on a glove and picking up one the spheres.

Sweeties eyes almost instantly lit up. "Put it down." Sweetie ordered and looked around for a cup. She found a small beaker and knife. "Here, cut your finger and put the blood in here" She ordered. Ryder followed order while Rocky watched. He pulled out some bandaids. Ryder gave himself a little cut and they all watched the blood drip in. After while the blood stopped and Ryder put on a bandaid. "Now use your LEFT hand to break the thing." Sweetie said as she picked up a strainer.

Ryder broke it over the strainer. The purple liquid fell in and nothing seemed to be happening.

After 15 long minutes of waiting something finally happened. The blood started clot. "What is it?" Ryder asked.

"Snake venom, not sure which one. It can clot and entire limb." Sweetie said. "And if it's not treated it spreads... slowly but still spreads" she added.

"Wait wait wait... and she has some of these things?" Rocky asked nervously

Ryder nodded. Rocky started to panic. "Look...how does it work?" Rocky asked. "Well it's basically a bomb. You put them in someone with a capsule! Press the button and boom! It spreads." Sweeties explained. Rocky already had some ideas on how it can be stopped. Just he needed some test subjects. "Is there's a way to fix it on the dot without surgery or blood thinners?" Ryder questions.

Sweetie thought about. "Unless you can turn blood in thinners into super blood thinners... I don't think you can." Sweetie replied.

"That's what I was thinking. I just don't know what to test it on. Plus we only have a limited amount of those things." Rocky replied explaining the issue. "what are they called?" He added.

"Name after the dog who made it, it's usually known as the Tinto-venom. Since the dogs name was tinto. He's dead now...so guess that's that." Sweetie shrugged.

Ryder nodded. So far these three have gotten more done than their effort in the past six months. "Alright, you guys can go downstairs, I'm going to do some thinking." Ryder said rubbing his chin and looking at a whiteboard.

Rocky and sweetie went downstairs to see the pups playing with the now free inmates.

Chase and Iris laughed. "That was fun." Chase said with a happy sigh.

"Yeah, it sucks I have to go." Iris replies in a disappointing tone. "Maybe we'll cross paths again. I'll always be here so..." Chase said trying to lighten up the mood. Iris nodded.

Chase looked at the sun and noticed it had moved quite a bit. "I have to head back home, my two hours are up." Chase informed.

They said their goodbyes and headed opposite directions. "Who was that?" A voice said. It angered Chase just by the sound of it. He looked right where it came from and nothing. "Up here bud." Gasket laughed.

Chase ignored her knowing he couldn't do anything. "So you're not gonna tell me?" Gasket asked yet again.

Chase sighed. "It was a friend. Don't you have something to do?" He asked trying to shoo her away.

"No but I can antagonize you for a bit, sad that you guys were desperate enough to go get sweetie." Gasket laughed.

"It's mutual." Chase replied.

Gasket chuckled, "alrighty then, you're just wasting your life trying to catch me." Gasket replied trying to get under his skin.

"Why are you here? Coincidentally I've learned one thing from Rocky. People who try to sabotage means that they could be scared of whatever it is... is that what it is? You getting scared of us?" Chase lied. He didn't learn anything from Rocky he's just making stuff up to get her to leave.

"W-why would I be scared? I have basically a small army hidden away, plus I have the nicest base." Gasket objected.

"We'll see about that one." Chase replied sarcastically.

Gasket rolled her eyes and walked off. "Stupid Chase, stupid friends... who needs friends...friends are just weak spots" A light bulb flickered. "Weak spots!" She mumbled to herself excitedly.

5 days later

Gasket sighed as she walks out of a house she just broke into. It was maybe 2 or 3 AM. Couple of jewelry and cash were in there. She started thinking of some rhymes to give herself. Kinda like a theme song. She got herself on top of a roof and took her time getting home. It was an extremely long walk but she was willing to walk it. She started to say dream about her base she's been staying in for the past couple of days.

Fire trucks and swat cars sped past her as if they were in a hurry. She didn't mind it knowing they couldn't see her.

She looked to her left and almost dropped her possessions. On a light post she saw a wanted picture...of her. She started to do a little happy dance and hum. Little did she know she was about to get punched in the gut.
