Castiel X Reader
Imagine: Castiel confessing his love for you instead of Dean. Based on S15E18 altered.
Castiel had zapped us in the middle of a beautiful meadow. Surrounded by colorful flowers of all sorts. He said there was something he needed to tell me. I turned to look into his sparkling blue eyes I had come to love.
"What was it you needed to tell me Cas?"
He smiled down at me making my heart skip a beat.
"I always wondered, ever since... I left heaven, I wondered what it could be, what my true happiness could even look like. I think I found an answer, because the one thing I want, it's something I know I shouldn't have. I know now, happiness isn't in the having, it's in just being, it's in just saying it.
I know, I know how you see yourself, (y/n). You see yourself the same way our enemies see you. You're destructive, and you're angry, and you're broken, you're-you're daddy's blunt instrument, you think that hate and anger that's... that's what drives you, that's who you are. It's not. And everyone who knows you, sees it. Everything you have ever done, the good and the bad, you have done for love. You raised your little brother for love, you fought for this whole world for love. That is who you are (y/n)."
Cas got down on one knee and continued as he took my hands in his. I gasped.
"You're the most caring, beautiful woman on earth, you are the most selfless... loving human being I have ever known.
Ever since we met, ever since we first kissed, knowing you has changed me. Because you cared, I cared. I care about Sam, I care about Dean, I care about the whole world because of you. But most of all I care about you.
You changed me (y/n).
" Cas, what are you doing?" I whispered.
"I love you (y/n) and I don't want to spend another day in this life without you." He took a little red box out of his pocket and held it open to me. It was a platinum gold engagement ring centered with one old mine cut diamond set into a four-split prong style head. The shoulders are each channel set with one baguette cut diamond.
"Would you do me the honor by making me the happiest angel on this planet? Marry me."
I never thought I would live to see the day an angel marry a human, let alone it being me. I love Castiel and I wouldn't want to be with anyone else but him.
"Yes! Yes Cas, I love you...yes." His smile widened and he slipped the ring on my finger. He stood up and cupped the side of my face.
"You, have made everything worth living for. I love you (y/n)."
"I love you too Castiel."
He pulled me closer and press his lips to mine in a passionate kiss.
