"You said Fujimaru Ritsuka would align with my goals," All for One yelled to the being in front of him. "Instead I have him teaching in UA!"
"Fujimaru Ritsuka is known to go against the wills of fate itself," the third person admitted as he approached. "And here I thought I would see him during that battle."
"Get that head out of your head," the spirit hissed as the other man sniffed. "What about the other servants?"
"About that," he sighed. "It seems we have a few...other pests that will no doubt make contact with Chaldea soon."
"Other servants?!"
"They are scattered across the world in their respective regions but it doesn't fail to stand that Chaldea is far more ready for us than we are them. We don't have a hold over Japan as well as we would like." A look was pointed to All for One who growled.
"How did Chaldea get so much support in a measly 3 months," All for One demanded.
"The Beasts of Humanity...they are very useful persuasive objects...not to mention their obsession with the Master of Chaldea," the spirit sniffed as the servant beside him huffed. "And their loyalty is not going to waver, no matter what you offer them."
"It's going to take alot to bring down Fujimaru and Chaldea. We have bid our time until your power comes back. But them monopolizing the drained Ley Lines isn't helping us. I'll try and siphon off some from Moon Cell but Archimedes is keeping tight watch," the servant shook his head.
"Archimedes only helps people when something worthwhile is given," the spirit murmured. "We need to get him on our side...then at least we'll have half of the mooncell on our side."
"And what is your idea for that? He has no interest in ruling mooncell. And besides, he's too scared to go up against BB."
"Well…"
CHALDEA, TWO DAYS LATER
"Foundational Heroics," Ritsuka asked as Chiron and Scathach nodded. "You two want to go to Foundational Heroics?"
"Yes we do," Chiron nodded as Achilles tried to hold his laughter back. The glare he received sent him flying out the room as Chiron shook his head.
"Why?"
"Because I want to see how they start out," Chiron smiled, bless that man...centaur...teacher. Bless that teacher. "One can mold how a hero is born by how they begin their training."
"I want to see how they handle unruly children," of course that's what Scathach wanted.
"Well you two haven't had any real confrontations with police and your reputations are pretty clean," Ritsuka admitted.
"And I have a question master," Avagrain came up with an irritated look. "Why are you allowing Aizawa to get close and leaving info about Chaldea around the school for him to find?"
"I am too worried about it," Chiron offered up. "It seems counterproductive to make an enemy of Eraserhead."
"It gets the man out of my class for a time," he waved off. "You know what I am going to be speaking of next," he offered, eyes dark as the three nodded.
"If I may," Scathach began. "What use is there in teaching them about the Beasts of Humanity? And keep some of it hidden to boot."
"Morality is often a complex and very...ranged shade of grey," Ritsuka chuckled. "They need to learn of twisted morals and ideals. The Beasts of Humanity are composed of love for our kind...even though it may be twisted in a sense, no?"
"If you are alluding to the fact you may become a Beast we are well aware of that fact," Avagrain began before his master began to chuckle.
"I know, I know...it's the fear inside of me of becoming a candidate for it that is making me bring this up," he looked like a scared child-
No. He was a scared child. He wasn't truly an adult yet because he had the last legs of his childhood ripped from to save a world that would come to see him as a Harbinger of destruction...when it's farther from the truth. But what do they care about? He's powerful, has resources and is smarter than for his own good.
He will always be the villain, always the scapegoat.
"Why are you here again Avagrain," Ritsuka asked as she moved to grab his coat, Versace courtesy of the brand after they saved their creative director.
"Allow me to come," he swallowed glaring at the two teachers who smirked. "Merlin mentioned that he wanted to come but I said you already invited me," he explained.
'God forbid any of those baby virgins meet him," Ritsuka shook his head.
Chaldea had no problems with promiscuity or the likes, they kept their original outfits from when they lived and they were very open out their relationships.
Japan had the gall to order Chaldea to keep Shuten and Kintoki apart as they often got very...heated in their quarrels. Not they followed it but they found it funny that they tried to separate a 'married couple', ho boy was Raikou's tantrum, a sight to behold.
"Very well," Ritsuka nodded. "Goetia, I need you to stay here."
"Why," he demanded, appearing corporally much to the three servants' chagrin.
They hated him and often feared for their master's corruption by his mere presence.
"Because I am losing my composure the longer you are in my shadow. I nearly attacked a student who made a remark against the Hassans after learning their profession."
"Fine."
Ritsuka nodded before he stumbled, the Beast of Humanity rushing to grab him as he stumbled to his knees. "Uggh."
"I think it best if you stay here today. Goetia and Ashiya's presence have affected your mind, it will take time to get out of the taint without Edmond doing it himself," Chiron murmured as he flashed a light in his Master's eye. "And you've been keeping the beasts in our Shadow haven't you? I advise a rest day and perhaps you visit Mashu and Director. They have left critical care now."
"I need too," Ritsuka coughed, clenching his eyes shut as an onslaught of pain washed through him. "I can't allow them to run rampant just yet," he murmured. "I'll visit the two of them later this week. I have some things to do and I need to go to the other embassies to speak to the governments in the other countries."
"But master…" Goetia murmured.
"Your personality will be heavily affected if you go into class today," Avagrain offered a bottle of water but was waved off.
"I can't afford to miss a day. Aizawa is on edge and that's where I like him. Missing one day might give him some leeway," Ritsuka explained.
"Master, Mineta was expelled and they have an uneven amount of students. I know your plan...you'll end up hurting whoever is with you."
"Then so be it," Ritsuka brushed off. "This is the reality of life, they need to learn that in this world that not all that glitters is gold," he chuckled, making Goetia help him up to his feet. "Let's head out."
Ritsuka smiled as the three got ready to leave, Edmond holding the gate open to the school.
AT UA
"Wait what," the class gasped as All Might explained what was going on.
"Yes," he coughed. "Mineta has been expelled for less than...savory behavior and the three main teachers of Chaldea will be here to observe you all."
"No way," Mina gasped as Momo looked around for them. Jirou was sweating as the boys around her began to whisper in fear and awe.
Izuku was shaking when he stood in his hero costume, Bakugou was shifting in his place as Shouto turned to the entrance to make sure he caught their entrance. The three of them all looked up when they heard talking as the students began to quiet down as more Chaldean Heroes approached.
They could tell who each was easily.
The Great Sage Archer, Chiron. His quirk was to transform into a half horse to chase down enemies using his bow and arrows to incapacitate them. If he was in a pinch he transformed back into a human and used a technique known as Pankration to fight off people.
The Lady of the Land of Shadows, Scathach. She was known for her very...intimidating way of fighting. Using her spear with such precision and grace, as well as her ultimate called gae Bolg. Her quirk was unknown.
The Back Knight of the Moon, Avagrain. He was stern and was an intimidating sight on an equally black horse he rode around on. His hand was on his trusty blade as he looked to them all with an unimpressed look. His quirk, like Scathach, was unknown.
"Hello. I see that Mineta is gone, finally," Ritsuka smiled. "Chaldea may be..open," he giggled as the others blushed. "But even he was too much for us," he shook his head. "Especially when he spoke and tried to grope poor Murasaki-San, a widowed woman who is much older than him," he growled and All Might couldn't fault him for that one. The woman had made it clear she did love her husband, even if their marriage had been very brief.
"Why are you here? Don't you have class," Sero asked, looking at the four servants who nodded to him with small smiles. So cool…
"Ah I took this day for you all to have an extra day to refine what you wanted to speak but in class," Ritsuka nodded. "And Mineta is gone...So in compensation I will be participating as a student to help the singing student," he smiled.
"What," All Might and Aiawa deadpanned as the four servants face palmed.
"Director-"
"Ahaha! I've been restless these last few days," he winked, moving to place his name in the box All Might had set out. "Come! Let's get those teams set up."
"R...right," All Might coughed.
Team A Izuku Midoriya and Ritsuka Fujimaru
Team B Shoto Todoroki and Mezo Shouji
Team C Momo Yaoyorozu and Ochako Uraraka
Team D Katsuki Bakugou and Tenya Iida
Team E Yuga Aoyama and Mina Ashido
Team F Rikido Satou and Koji Koda
Team G Denki Kaminari and Kyoka Jirou
Team H Fumikage Tokoyami and Tsuyu Asui
Team I Kirishima Eijirou and Sero Hanta
Team J Mashiro Ojiro and Tooru Hakagure
First Match Up
Team A vs Team D
"How interesting," Ritsuka clapped his hands before he smiled. "I hope to work well with you Izuku."
"R...right," Izuku nodded looking away as Iida and Bakugou began to complain about fighting against a quirkless teacher.
"Ho? Have you boys forgotten what I did to Kanakawa a few days ago...already," he crooned, placing his cheek in his hand as he shook his head. "A pity...you'll need to be taught that lesson...more personally.." His voice took on a darker edge before he glared at the two who jumped in fear at the look.
"R..right, well Team A are the heroes protecting the bomb. Follow me to the simulation arena and then I'll explain it all in detail."
"It's simple. 15 minutes. Villains protect the bomb and avoid capture tape the heroes have. Heroes go in and try to get the bomb and not get captured," Ritsuka sniffed. "Simple."
"Ri...right," All Might deflated as they reached the base building. "Each team has five minutes to prepare. Time begins now."
The Villains rushed into the building as All Might jumped away leaving the two heroes.
"Now, I think we best have a double operation going makes some noise and the other infiltrates by the side. I can make an excellent diversion while you," Ritsuka began before Izuku shook his head.
"Just stay behind me and alert me to anything that comes," Izuku began. Looking through his things. "I'll be able to protect you, but fighting against Bakugou takes more than martial arts and some quick reflexes. I don't want this to be-"
"You're a brave one to think me weak and incapable," Ritsuka commented blandly as he glowered down at the boy who jumped back. "You're so hateful of me and my success, you're trying to overcompensate hmmm?"
"Wh...what NO! I don't a teacher with only self defense to get hurt by Kacchan his explosions-"
"Listen here boy," Ritsuka interrupted with a tight smile. "I have lived through hell and back. I have done horrible things, seen horrible things and lived through horrible things. Do not underestimate me. Now that I am in a bad mood I will take a point."
"This is an exercise for students! I will take points," Izuku insisted, not even looking at the harsh glare he knew the teacher was giving him.
"You won't do what's needed," the teacher mocked him. "I can see that, so this exercise is useless."
"What?"
"You won't do what is needed."
"BEGIN!"
Ritsuka walked up to the door and punched it down with a single strike, the door crumbling into pieces as he did so.
"Come, we have bomb no," he nodded, heading in as Izuku rushed behind him and up the stairs. "I see they decided to split up," he placed a hand on the smooth metal wall. "Bakugou…"
"I'll deal with Kacchan, you can get the bomb. You'll be able to get past Iida hopefully with your status as teacher-"
"Not happening," Ritsuka removed his hand. "We'll fight Bakugou together. If I see that you lose control then you go to Iida and I take care of the boy. If you have it under control then I will capture Iida. This is a simulation that needs to be followed through."
"Kacchan and his explosions are made dangerous and even quirkles people have trouble with it on their skin! Your skin isn't up to par-"
Izuku choked as his throat was grabbed and he was slammed against the wall.
"Silence All Might, I am teaching a student a lesson," Ritsuka hissed into his comm and he ripped it out and came nose to nose with Izuku. "Listen here, I will not tolerate disrespect. You have no idea who I am. I am not not someone you can boss around. I earned my title through sweat, tears and fucking blood," he hissed. "Now," he released the boy. "Let's go."
Izuku could only shiver as he grabbed his neck and looked to his partner in fear.
His...his presence was so...suffocating.
"What did Izuku say to him."
"He doubted him," Chiron sighed as Avagrain felt a headache come. "Ritsuka earned his position through blood, sweat and tears. It was...not glamorous," he admitted to Shoto who asked.
"Ritsuka has been trained by us to protect himself. He has many weapons on him, even now," Scathach nodded as she watched her student. "He is far more capable of himself than you all think. Do not test him, he is not afraid to get his hands dirty to teach you all."
"That...that's not cool at all," Mina gasped before Avagrain turned to her.
"No, it's not," he agreed before continuing. "But that is the way the world works. The perceived weak must establish their dominance over the people that do not see their true worth. He could kill you all twice over with his hand behind his back should he wish it."
"Wh...what," Denki yelped.
"Don't push your teacher," Chiron sighed as Bakugou entered the screen.
"I found you," the boy screamed, a fire filled punch aimed for Izuku before it was stopped by Ritsuka. His arm was grabbed and he was slammed into the wall.
"I did the beginning. Here you go," Ritsuka stepped back as Izuku looked to him starstruck.
"Wh...what."
"You wanted to fight him no? Protect me," Ritsuka yelled, forcing the boys out of their stupor. "Well fight boy!"
"Shut up you quirkless shitty ass teacher," Bakugou yelled, shooting off toward the teacher who stepped sideways with ease and grabbed his collar, throwing him back into the ground and stomping on his chest.
"You have skill, but it's clouded by your thoughts of heroism," Ritsuka commented before jumping back as an explosion was aimed at his face.
"No shit," Bakugou huffed. "What else would motivate me?!"
"The drive to win...to conquer...to dominate and break those beneath you," Ritsuka smirked. "But you've been doing that all your life alongside your heroism...surprising you haven't converted," he shrugged, moving to grab his knife to redirect that explosion to his head. "Touchy subject?"
"You don't know shit!"
"I can read between the lines...now how about you fight the hero student and not the warrior," he gave a sickly sweet smile before pushing the boy to the still Izuku who was still on the ground. "You're not ready for someone like me," he smiled, it looked so sincere that it made Bakugou want to vomit.
"Like hell, you're more a threat to me than that shitty deku," Bakugou snarled, eyes feral.
"Come then," Ritsuka took position before smiling. "I promise to go easy so as not to hurt you."
"FUCK OFFF," Bakugou roared as he was suddenly in front of his smiling teacher. Suddenly his head snapped back as Ritsuka's leg snapped up to connect with his chin forcing him to fly back, or he would have had a hand not grabbed his leg and thrown him into the ground.
He choked as the air was thrown out of him.
"Usually I would sit on you or choke you into either unconsciousness or death...but you're still a child. No need to do that. Me and Izuku will head off to face Iida now," Ritsuka smiled as he hoisted Izuku up by his collar and forced him to the stairs. Izuku turned to look at his teacher before his eyes widened at the absolute demonic look that Bakugou had as a fist came into Fujimaru-Sensei's right side.
Quick as a flash his teacher caught the fist without so much as a blink, crushing it between his hands as he gave a feral smile.
"Now that's dedication I like," he giggled before he flung the boy into the wall.
Bakugou coughed before he forced himself up, his eyes widened at the elbow that hit his face. He staggered back coughing as his knees were kicked, the same leg kneeing him in the stomach before hands gripped his hair keeping in place as the knee continued to assault his upper body.
"Not so much of a fighter if you can be taken down easy," Ritsuka laughed before wrenching the boy's face up and sucker punching right in the face. He fell down like a sack of bricks with an impressive nosebleed. "You," he turned to Izuku who jolted. "You couldn't do it."
"Wh...what," Izuku whimpered.
"You are equals now. You could have established dominance, snapped, showed him you're not the same person he can push around. Showed him you are worth respect." Ritsuka pressed. "But you froze. You are still uncertain of yourself, in the decisive moment you froze. You can't be frozen or uncertain, you can't rely on the time in school to get over it! The real world is not so accommodating!"
"I'm a student-"
"You chose the path of heroics! You choose this willingly, you decided to be selfish when those in the past had this forced on them," Ritsuka boomed, making Izuku and Bakugou who had woken up flinch. "Capture the boy and be done with this."
Izuku did as Bakugou looked to the fuming professor in a bit of fear? But Izuku could understand, Fujimura sensei was scary. He seemed to be critiquing every part of them as he watched from his position on the third step.
"The world is not so kind," they heard him. "You both must be ready for it's ugliness."
"He seems so angry," Kirishima murmured as All Might and Aizawa looked to one another.
So the reports of Midoriya and Bakugou's past were all true after all and not exaggerated, this was a misstep on their part for sure and they would no doubt need to speak to Hound Dog and Nezdu about this.
"He's not wrong," Chiron sighed. "The excuse of you being a student and children ended the moment you all got accepted."
"Huh?"
"Facing those who mocked you, opposed you...hated you? Freezing is no longer an option. The moment they know your course of life they will expect you to be strong. Freezing is a certain way for death, figurative and literal," Avagrain sighed. "He could have gone without beating the boy."
"He deserved it. Much like Setanta," Scathach huffed. "I beat that boy black and blue for his attitude and he thanked me for it," she sniffed.
"He still fears you, you know," Chiron commented with a smile as the others scooted away.
"I can and still will beat that boy black and blue so long as I see him," the woman snarled, eyes glowing as her spear appeared in her hand.
"You have...many times," Avagrain huffed.
"Like you don't do the same to your siblings," the woman shot back.
"Their idiots who aren't delivering to serve uncle and need to learn their place."
"Says the man who hated the Director for 2 years and tried to kill him," Chiron whistled.
"Amakusa did the same thing and he doesn't get this hate," Avagrain sighed as everyone looked at them in fear.
"It's because Semiramis was able to stop all other attempts with her body," Chiron chuckled. "And you have?"
"Oh don't bring our love lives into this," Avagrain grunted.
"I heard that Lady Medb is willing to give you a try," Scathach laughed as Avagrain sighed.
"That whore," he sighed as the women gasped. "If memory serves right, she's been trying to get with Setanta for years?"
"You think him stabbing her in the chest to get her off him would deliver the message."
Was Chaldea really that scary if these people...you know what, Chaldea was very scary. They all thought.
"Hello Iida," Ritsuka smiled as he entered the room.
"Wah! You defeated Bakugou," he yelped as his teacher approached.
"Quite simple when a pissed off director of a very dangerous organization is on your side, no," he turned to Izuku who refused to look at him. "Indeed."
"W...well I won't you get this bomb! You only have 2 minutes and I will be able to keep you both at ba-AAAYYYY," he yelped as a knife sailed past him and embedded in the wall behind him. "That was uncalled for-hrrrgn," he gasped as he first landed on his stomach.
"We win," Ritsuka smiled as he touched the bomb.
"HERO TEAM WINS!"
"You best think about what I said," Ritsuka turned to Izuku who jolted. "Being scared of the people you are to rely on is going to hurt you more than you can think," he sighed. "I used….I used to think my people would murder me once my usefulness ended and we nearly died many times because of that fear."
"Huh," Izuku gasped.
"I...I will see you in class," Ritsuka sighed, heading out as the medical bots came to grab Iida and Bakugou.
The rest of the class finished in silence, the Chaldean watching with critical eyes as their teacher rested on the couch. He murmured about going too far and the pain in his head, his eyes glowed in such a demonic light as Edmond left to get him something to help him out.
Th….the next class will not be fun.
THE NEXT DAY, FUJIMARU'S CLASS
"First off," Ritsuka clapped his hands as he entered the room. "Apologies to Iida Tenya, Bakugou Katsuki and Izuku Midoriya...I...was not in my right of mind. Let this be a lesson, trials and tribulations are all well and good for your growth...but they will have adverse reactions on you sometime in your life."
That warning was...chilling to say the least.
"Now," he began. "Randomly," he smirked as they groaned. "I will call on you to explain the top 3 things you found interesting. I know I said five but that was to only make sure you got up to at least three."
That was...pretty fair actually.
"Now...Rikkido?"
"Um," the boy jumped. "I...I really enjoyed the story of Tamamo Cat and Tamamo no Mae, how they separated. Along with the story of Beni-Enma! Then the famous Queen of Victory Boudica," he blushed.
"Very good choices. I thrust you know that Boudica did not actually win against her fight with Rome?"
"Yeah...but her drive was amazing!"
"Indeed it was," Ritsuka smiled. "Jirou?"
"Hmmm..well the stories of the Pirates, Francis Dark, Blackbeard and Robert were actually pretty interesting...spent all my time there."
"Haha! Yes, indeed their lives were very interesting...if dangerous," he sighed. "Mezou?"
"I...I found the whole Voyager thing really weird? And the 'One who is his opposite'?"
"Ah," Ritsuka murmured, leaning back against the wall with closed eyes. "Yes...Voyager. Think of it like this. Someone is shown to be the last remaining part of humanity after we are all gone. The hopes, dreams and desires that wander the cosmos and then...they come across someone who's saved humanity time and time again, persevering their life...what do you see?"
Momo raised her hand, swallowing as she was called on. "One...one is meant to show that the others desire to protect humanity is feeble," she began, Ritsuka's eyes boring into her. "Because he is the desire and dreams of humanity given life to continue their work...the second is in direct opposition correct?"
"Excellent. Precisely that," he nodded before Izuku raised his hand up. "A volunteer?"
"Then does that mean that they are meant to oppose the Beasts of Humanity?"
Silence.
"You have guts to go against me...but then again..I knew you would," Ritsuka sighed as Edmond shifted in his place, eyes glaring down at all the students. "Well...to put it simply? Our Sins."
What?
"That's all."
"No," Izuku demanded, eyes full of determination. "I want to know more, you wouldn't put it in the museum if we weren't going to cover it-"
"In your third year," Ritsuka shot back. "It's too much for your...children to understand."
As condescending as it sounded, the look on their teachers' faces told it all.
It was not something they needed to know...not yet.
"Now, onto someone else," he smiled as if all was right in the world.
MOON CELL CORE
"And what's in it for me," Archimedes asked as he spoke with the heroic spirit before him. "After all I'm more afraid of Chaldea than I am you," he huffed, looking over the numbers without much care as he moved about.
"That's true...but I can offer you a chance to meet two beings you've been dying to get your hands on," the man smiled as the Caster turned to him.
"You think you can get me a chance to look a Sefar and Type Ort? You know how many lock and keys they are under," he scoffed.
"I do..and I also know that should the master fall the defenses will weaken, enough so that a heroic spirit such as yourself...will be able to get in," he smirked as Archimedes stilled.
"Are you certain."
"Not entirely, but if it doesn't then we simply have to mess around with the Moon Cells super computer and that won't be too hard when BB-Chan is worrying over her master," he murmured, giggling as he saw he had Archimedes.
"For all intents and purposes I should capture you and I should bring you to Chaldea...but I'm not one of their servants," he sighed, eyes closing before opening once again. "Allow me time to think about this deal. I'll create a Geas to make sure both parties involved keep their promises."
"Very well, but know that if you decide not to go along with us then I will kill you," the spirit explained.
"I'm only helping Chaldea because BB is out," Archimedes huffed. "My death means nothing to them."
"What a pity."
With that Archimedes was left alone in his lab, sitting down on the stool he allowed himself a laugh.
"What a pity indeed."
