Too Much Trauma
'I know what you want...'
Tubbo whipped around. All he could see was darkness as if someone just drained the light from the earth. Not even a glowing moon to fill the void.
but the voice...
The voice was more stronger. It was more louder than before.
"W..what?.." Tubbo trembled. His head turned, trying to find an exit or even a source of light.
'You want him... You want him dead.."
"I don't wish anyone dead.." Tubbo replied, almost instantly but he knew that he was unsure of that statement. Part of him screamed to get revenge...especially after seeing Tommy so terrified... so quiet...
'You can't lie to me, Tubbo. He hurt him... He hurt your best friend..'
A glowing speck of light wormed it's way towards him, stopping at his feet. Tubbo stumbled backwards at the sudden light. His eyes widened as the light turned into a glowing, white figure. Tommy.
'Tommy' seemed to pay no attention to him as if he couldn't see him. This Tommy was smiling. This Tommy was laughing. This was HIS Tommy. Tubbo reached out to him just as 'Tommy' turned grey with a white outline. He could see blood dripping from his mouth and nose. Tubbo quickly draw back his hand as 'Tommy' screamed and fell to the floor. Tubbo winced at the sight. The pain was too much and he could feel his heart breaking all over again.
Just as it started, it stopped. 'Tommy' vanished as soon as he appeared. The room became lighter as the echoes of a corrupt laugh filled the silent room. Dream.
Tubbo clutched his fist tightly at the sound. His pain was now replaced with anger. He laughed... That bitch laughed at Tommy's Death.
'I can feel the anger, Tubbo. Imagine how safe he will be if Dream was gone?. Imagine the power you will have?. Its time to live up to what you were meant to be.'
Tubbo closed his eyes, preventing tears from falling. He was considering it... Why was he considering it? Tubbo knew violence. He knew nothing good came from violence.
'Tubbo...'
A voice called his name. Tubbo squeezed his eyes closed and brought his hands to his head.
'Tubbo... Wake up'
His body felt fuzzy. Numb as if he was slowing disappearing.
'Wake up!!'
His body jolted up and his eyes opened suddenly. His mind went into a panic. His breath become faster like he couldn't breath.
"Hey.. Hey.. Take deep breathes.." A voice calmly said. He couldn't recognize the voice properly. His vision was fuzzy. A hand touched his back, rubbing in small circles gently. Closing his eyes, He took deep breathes to calm himself.
After a while, his body become more relaxed and his breathing was more slow. He opened his eyes to find Ranboo staring at him with worry.
"Ranboo... Please. I dont know what's happening..." Tubbo trembled.
Ranboo remained slient. He stared at the troubled boy with much concern.
"Help me..." Tubbo whispered.
--A few hours later--
Ranboo slowly pushed himself up from bed. He stared at Tubbo, who was sleeping in bed. More relaxed than before. Ranboo couldn't help but feel concerned for the poor boy. All this trauma. All this pain was affecting the boy... But he didnt think that was it. Something was happening.. Something more serious than trauma and it was controlling the boy.
Ranboo walked downstairs, hesitantly closing the door behind him. Puffy looked up at him, tears in her eyes.
"Is he okay?" Puffy asked
"For now... Something's wrong.." Ranboo replied.
"What's wrong??.." A voice spoke up. Both Ranboo and Puffy turned their heads towards Tommy, who was sitting at the table.
Tommy was very quiet since he arrived at Puffy's house. He was troubled and pulled away from anyone's touch. He flinched if someone moved too quick towards him.
"Tommy... Arent you meant to be in bed?.." Puffy asked. She approached him slowly as to not freak him out. Tommy took in her movements.
"Im fine... What's wrong..??" Tommy asked, looking her directly in her eyes.
Puffy didn't reply. She looked over at Ranboo, who shook his head slightly.
"Somethings Wrong with Tubbo...?? I want to help. He's my best friend..?!" Tommy slammed down on the table with his fists angrily. Ranboo could see him flinch slightly at the action.
"Tommy... You are in no... condition to help anyone.." Puffy sighed. She was being honest with him.
"You just died and came back in the hands of dream. Tubbo wouldn't want you to hurt yourself... He's already seen you die twice..." Ranboo spoke up after Puffy.
Tommy looked between the two before sighing.
"Can I see him..?? Maybe I could get some information.." Tommy asked. A glint of excitement yet concern filled his eyes.
Ranboo and Puffy looked at each other as if they were communicating with no words. Puffy hesitantly nodded her head. Tommy jumped down from the table and made his way upstairs.
He entered the room quietly as to not to disturb or fright the boy but Tubbo wasn't sleeping. He was sitting on the bed, sobbing and whispering to himself. He was completely unaware of Tommy's presence.
"No... I cant..." Tubbo mumbled to himself.
"Tubbo..??" Tommy approached cautiously and placed himself beside Tubbo.
Tubbo suddenly snapped his head towards Tommy, causing him to leap backwards at the sudden movement. His breathing become faster as the trauma hit him once again.
Tubbo quickly realised what he has done and rushed to Tommy's side. Tommy backed away from Tubbo frantically until his back was towards the wall. He trembled in fear. Tubbo stopped and walked towards him calmly.
"Tommy...Calm down. I'm here.." Tubbo said calmly, trying to comfort the traumatized child.
"No... Stop.. Dream please..." Tommy pleaded. He then lifted his arms, covering his head in fear.
Tubbo continued to approach Tommy, removing his shaking hands away from his face gently. He held Tommy's hands in him until they calmed down at the warmth. Tommy slowly looked up at Tubbo.
"Breath with me.." Tubbo smiled. He took deep breathes, which Tommy followed carefully. Soon enough, they both calmed down.
"Sorry..." Tommy whispered, not meeting Tubbo's eyes.
"It's fine, big man.." Tubbo smiled before bringing Tommy into a hug. Tommy was comforted by the warmth and embrace of his brother. His best friend. The one person he truly cared for.
"Tubbo..??" Tommy spoke up after a couple of minutes hugging.
"Mhm..." Tubbo muttered
Tommy broke the hug, causing Tubbo shiver at the sudden cold.
"Tell me... What's going on with you??..."
