A/N: Hello. :) Sorry I'm late, especially with a chapter for Hulk and Red She-Hulk being a day late, but on the bright side, we get a new chapter for this story, which had been a long time coming. Enjoy. :)
Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Frankenstein
Chapter 5: If A Monster Came In
Meanwhile, Dave was showing the policemen a few baby pictures of the chipmunks before even showing the things Alvin did, although he meant well, as he turned the pages of the photo album and then presented a picture of Alvin doing something unorthodox cooking outside the book and in the frame for the 2nd photo.
"Theodore's always been so happy and...and sweet. Simon's the one with the glasses. Funny. I didn't even know he needed them. And then, of course, there's Alvin. Oh. This was the time Alvin burned down the kitchen, making me a Father's Day breakfast.", Dave spoke.
"Oh, ye-yeah. I remember getting the call on that one.", one of the officers spoke.
"Oh, and here he is just after he set the lab rats free at the school open house. There I am.", Dave spoke, pointing to where he is in the photo.
"Yeah, the one with Principal Milliken's hands around your neck? Uh-Huh.", the officer spoke with slight laughter.
"She's got quite a grip for a woman her age. And I was recently told that she's 31. Oh, and there's even a couple pictures of my niece, Amy. That's her during the day, and this is her at night one time at the Jekyll and Hyde Wrap party when Talbot was hired as the new principal.", Dave responded, showing said pictures of Amy in human form and in werewolf form the night Talbot took over as principal.
"Woof! How'd she'd get a hairy, realistic costume like that?", the officer spoke in surprise.
"Let's just say you'd be surprised and/or in disbelief if I told you.", Dave responded.
"Well, Mr. Seville, we'll be in touch.", the other officer assured as he and his partner went toward the front door.
"You betcha. And don't worry, we'll do our best to find your, uh... ah... boys. And niece.", the officer agreed.
"Uh, do you need any more information? Did I describe 'em okay?", Dave asked.
"Chipmunks with clothes on and she-wolf niece. Yeah, that oughta do it.", the officer responded.
"As soon as we hear anything, we'll let you...", the other officer began as he then opened the door.
But when he did, Amy, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore both leapt out the door.
"Dave!", the chipmunks shouted.
"Uncle Dave!", Amy shouted.
"Fellas!", Dave grinned in relief before hugging the 4 as Talbot came in.
"Looks like you found them, Talbot.", Dave guessed.
"Indeed.", Talbot responded just as the officer noticed how flattened her partner was, literally, that is.
"Oh. Oh, that's gotta hurt.", the officer spoke before fixing her partner up and then leaving as Dave spoke to them.
"Thanks, officers.", Dave thanked as the two officers left.
"Uh, Dave? Dave? I can't breathe!", Theodore spoke before Dave then let go of them and gave a glare, mostly at the chipmunks.
"Sorry. Now...", Dave began.
"We know, Dave.", Simon began before he, Alvin, and Theodore spoke in unison.
"Everybody on the couch.", the chipmunks sighed in unison before heading to said couch with Amy and Talbot following them before Amy sat down with them.
"Where on earth have you boys been?!", Dave asked.
"Well, we...", Alvin began.
"Why didn't you call like she did?!", Dave interrupted.
"We tried!", Theodore responded.
"And I heard you shouting for us outside when they did.", Amy added.
"I can understand Amy since she managed to call ahead, but didn't you stop to think how worried I must've been?", Dave asked.
"Y-Yeah, b-but we...", Simon began.
"Missed your show as Amy predicted and disappeared for hours.", Dave responded.
"But Dave, y-you don't understand. Th-There was this huge, scary monster, see? And it was...", Alvin began.
"Yeah, I know. And it ate your homework.", Dave interrupted.
"Huh? What homework?", Theodore puzzled.
"Good one, Dave. But, really. It was all...", Alvin began before Dave interrupted.
"Alvin, please! I'm not in the mood to hear about monsters! Now, until you're ready to tell the truth, I don't want to hear a peep out of any of you.", Dave spoke as he sent the three chipmunks upstairs.
"But...", Alvin began before Dave only cleared his throat and made his word clear.
"Good night.", Dave spoke before Alvin then went upstairs.
Afterwards, Dave then went over to Amy.
"Maybe you can explain what really happened.", Dave spoke.
"Well, what Alvin said might be half true. But he left out what happened before then. As you know, Alvin tried to get us to Dragonland, but wound up getting us lost, causing us to miss their show in the process. And after we tried to call you, we noticed that someone was still there, but when we got inside, we saw someone piecing the monster back together and bringing it to life right before he sent it after us. But it was a bit slow. That was when we saw Talbot as we ran.", Amy responded.
"Is all that true, Talbot?", Dave asked.
"Of course, Mr. Seville. I saw the monster with my own eyes. It practically chased us all the way to Dragonland.", Talbot responded.
"Hold on. Does that mean that the monster was real?!", Dave asked in shock.
"As real as the curse on me that Amy helped lift months ago. And it gets worse.", Talbot responded.
"How?", Dave asked.
"Tell me. Did you see the doctor inside the castle?", Talbot asked.
"Uh, yeah, actually. Why?", Dave responded.
"Let's just say for now that while not in exact terms, the doctor and I had ancient history.", Talbot replied.
Meanwhile, the chipmunks were getting ready for bed.
"I can't believe it! Dave didn't believe me.", Alvin spoke, affronted.
"Yeah, especially with your track record for honesty.", Simon responded matter-of-factly with a smirk.
"Can I help it if I don't stifle my active imagination?", Alvin responded as he then turned his Frankenstein's monster toy on and it walked across the bed just as Theodore noticed something missing.
"Oh, my Teddy! I... I must've dropped him!", Theodore realized.
"Well, we're not going back for him. But if we did, that monster wouldn't stand a chance.", Alvin assured before knocking the toy back.
"Well, I'm still scared.", Theodore responded before he went into the covers as the song began with the tree then becoming similar to the monster, prompting Theodore to hide behind Alvin, who sprayed the monster with water from his soaker, glued him to a chair, stuck a dead skunk in the monster's coat pocket, making the monster furious as it went toward Alvin only for him to sweep the monster by the legs toward the rocket, which blasted off, taking the monster with it straight toward the moon before Alvin rapped with his glasses on.
Theodore: But if a monster came in the room tonight
What would we do? What could we do?
If he tried to make your hair turn white with fright
What would you do? If it was you?
Alvin: I'd drown him with my soaker gun, glue him to a chair
Stick a dead skunk in his pocket
I'd knock him off his feet with a Judo sweep
Blast him into space on a rocket
I'd send him to his doom
If a monster came in my room
Yo Zipper Face, you wanna piece of me?
Y'all ready to rumble?
Bring it on, brother
Then, it showed Theodore still hiding in Alvin's covers before it showed Simon figuring out a sort of equation for the formula before tossing it at the monster, making it shrink down and run in terror from Simon before it showed the chipmunks dancing in their room.
Theodore: But if a monster sat on the edge of the bed
What would you do? What could you do?
Alvin: With a zipper in his neck, and bolts in his head
Simon: If it were me? Well, let me see
I'd multiply pi times his height and his veight
To determine mathematically
The vay to alter his molecular state
And shrink him to the size of a flea, yeah
I'd fill him full of dread
If a monster sat on my bed
The Chipmunks: Ain't no monster gonna put us down
Uh uh, no way
We'll chase his face right outta town
That's what we say
Ain't no monster gonna put us down
Uh huh, that's right
'Cause we're the meanest 'munks around
We're tight!
Then, Dave went upstairs.
"Simon, Theodore, Alvin! Go to sleep!", Dave shouted before Alvin went to the door and closed it before getting out a pair of glasses and the same water soaker just before it showed the monster bursting through the wall with his suitcases only for Alvin to attack with his toy pirate sword and spray him with silly string while Simon acted like a matador to make him run into the wall while Theodore tried to hide under his bed until Alvin and Simon pulled him out before the monster was then trapped in a brick tomb, before getting tossed out the window, and when he tried o get them, Alvin used his dynamite to send him flying up in the air (at least in their imagination).
Alvin: Okay!
I am the Munkinator!
Simon: If a monster came in and decided to stay
Theodore: That wouldn't be very nice!
We could ask him politely to go away
Alvin: Are we 'munks? Or are we mice?
I'll stick him in the ribs with my pirate sword
Shoot silly string at his head
Simon: I'll use my blanket like a matador
Theodore: I'll just hide under my bed!
Alvin & Simon: NO!
The Chipmunks: We'll make this place his tomb
If a monster comes in our room
We'll send him to his doom
If a monster comes in our room
We'll blow him up, KABOOM!
"Come on, guys! You heard Dave! You'd better go to bed!", Amy shouted as she went in the bedroom before going around the carpet and then kneeling down on all fours just as chipmunks decided to put on their pajamas.
The Chipmunks: If a monster comes in our room
We'll send him to his doom
If a monster comes in our room
We'll blow him up
Theodore: KABOOM!
Alvin & Simon: If a monster comes in our room
"'Night.", Simon spoke as he took his glasses off and got into the covers before the light got turned off by Alvin.
"Night.", Alvin responded.
"Good night.", Amy yawned before sleeping.
Theodore, however, was worried.
"Night. Oh, I hope Teddy's okay out there.", Theodore spoke in slight worry.
Later that night, lightning struck as the monster sniffed at the teddy to pick up a scent before growling and then heading over to the house and climbing up into the room and reached for Theodore when he suddenly felt something below him before looking down. It was Amy, who snorted herself awake a bit.
"Huh? What was that?", Amy asked.
"Alvin, go to sleep!", Dave shouted just before the monster decided to move back just as Amy turned and noticed it with a gasp just in time for the monster to tip backwards, falling off the window with Theodore getting puzzled about what happened just before Dave spoke again, urging Theodore to turn to him.
"Come on, fellas. I thought I told you to… Huh?", Dave puzzled as he then saw Alvin, Simon, Theodore, and Amy asleep with a grin on his face before he moved back in and closed the door.
However, both Amy and Theodore woke right back up before heading out the window.
"Teddy!", Theodore shouted
"What the…? How did it get there?", Amy puzzled.
Then, Amy and Theodore cautiously went down the tree and were about to grab the teddy when the monster grabbed Theodore by the wrist, freaking him out.
"Let go of me!", Theodore urged.
"You heard him! Let go!", Amy urged before pulling Theodore away from the monster.
"What do you want?!", Theodore shouted in worry before the monster then picked up the teddy bear and handed it back to him, as if to reply, much to both Amy and Theodore' puzzlement.
"Oh, Teddy! You're okay!", Theodore grinned.
"Wait. You mean you came here all this way to give it back to him?", Amy asked.
The monster only responded with a grunt as the rain started to fall before the monster then went on his way to leave. At that moment, Amy and Theodore both had a crazy idea.
"Wait!", Theodore shouted, puzzling the monster.
"You shouldn't be out on this rain. You could catch a cold.", Theodore responded.
"He's right. Besides, it's not exactly fun getting wet under all this rain, believe me.", Amy agreed, shaking the rain off her fur.
"Come on…, friend.", Theodore spoke, making the monster groan with heartwarming joy.
Meanwhile, Dr. Frankenstein was outside in the rain looking around for his creation.
"My Liebchen, where are you? Hello? Where could he be?", the doctor muttered as he looked around before he started to come down with something just as the lightning struck far away.
"Oh… Such a headache", the doctor groaned just before noticing the reason for his creation's disappearance: he had broken through the gate.
Frankly, the doctor roared in frustration before then venting said frustration out on a display prop of Sammy Squirrel, tipping it over and smashing it with a few stomps up until a small speaker was forced out and started playing a sort of song.
"Out of my way, you imbecile! You miserable rodent! I can't stand you! You don't even look like a squirrel! Your silly hat and… I hate you! And what's more, I…! I hate that song.", Dr. Frankenstein spoke before setting out to find his monster, shrugging off his frustrations.
A/N: Uh-oh. Looks like the doctor is mad and on the search for his monster. Who knows what could happen this time?
