Thor Blood and Gorr
Chapter 6
Diana, Kara and Billy were in shock at the sight of Old King Thor.
"Oh my God" said Kara
"Kara?" Asked the old Odinson.
"How is this possible? What happened here?" Asked Diana.
"Walk with me. It's best I show you" said Thor.
Thor takes the three across the ruins of New Asgard in this dreadfully hopeless future. The ash and destruction left behind. The Old King leads them to what's left of his chambers. The empty halls with the echoing sounds of their footsteps loud and hollow. Old King Thor takes his seat in his Throne.
"Aye. Now start explaining why you are all here" he said.
"Gorr the God Butcher" said Diana
Old King Thor's eye widened at the mention of his Name.
"Why the hell did you say that name?!" asked The King in anger.
"He kicked our asses good and Loki tells us about his plan to use a God bomb to kill all the Gods that is was and will ever be. That includes you" said Kara.
"Why should I believe you. How do I even know I'm not crazy and I'm seeing your ghosts haunting me?" Asked King Thor.
"Wait ghosts? As in... Like...?" Asked Billy.
"Dead. Yes. Long ago. When we all failed." said Thor.
"Failed what?" asked Diana.
"Everyone..." he answered.
"We all banded together to stop Gorr the God Butcher. He was far too powerful as one by one we all fell. I was one of the very few left to even kill him. But that disrupted the timeline beyond repairing as he managed to kill all the Gods throughout all timelines. Even after I manged to deal the final blow, The Conqueror. Kang...he turned this world to smoldering ash as punishment.
Leaving me alone as the King of Asgard. Well...king of nothing. Every night I would see ghosts. Hear their voices. Mocking me. Taunting me. Asking me why. WHY I COULDN'T SAVE THEM!!!!" he shouts throwing Mjolnir in a fit of rage.
"Thor... Now we have a chance to make it right. Join us as well end him once and for all." said Diana.
"How can we possibly change this?" Asked Thor.
"We end him, this horrible future never comes to pass. Loki is planning to call in The Legends so we can beat Gorr to the timestream so all of us can stop him. But to do that, we also need you. Gorr could come for you or your younger self to finish his bomb and set this future in stone." said Kara.
"Your Majesty, uh, Thor? Please... We really could use your help." addes Billy.
Thor stands up from his chair and calls forth Mjolnir.
"So be it" he said
As the trio smiled as they had done their part of the plan, the celebration was cut short as the sounds of roars was heard.
"What the hell was that?" Asked Billy.
"It appears the plan will have to wait. Come quickly!" said Thor.
"What are we fighting?" Asked Diana.
"Shadow Beserkers"
Asgard, The Past
Loki, Thor and Jane entered the banquet hall as the Asgardians were celebrating and being merry as loud music played and everyone danced.
"What's the plan brother?" Asked Thor.
"Find you. Talk him down to join our cause. Get out and head to the future with the others before Gorr finds him" Explained Loki.
"In and out clean" added Jane.
"Lets go find him shall we?" Thor lead.
The trio searched endlessly throughout the gathering until they see a isolated table.
"Guys? I think I found Thor" said Jane.
"Well wasn't this typical eh brother?" Asked Loki.
"Yes yes I was a drunkard youthful brash buffoon let's just get him and get out" said Thor.
"Wait... We need to blend in a bit more. Can't risk creating a time paradox" said Jane.
"What nonsense is that?" Asked Loki
"I assume you never seen Back to the Future?" Asked Jane.
"Oh darling theres a lot more to time travel than humanity makes it out to be. But I can help us not stick out like a futuristic wore thumb. Considering the fact you Lady Foster have the hammer. So *flexes knuckles* allow me"
Loki conjures his famous disguise spells on himself and the two Thors with him.
Thor clears his throat.
"Thor Odinson?"
The Young Thor puts down his mug of mead as he is flanked by a plethora of women.
"Aye?" Young Odinson answered
"We wish to speak with you in private."
"Can't you see I'm busy?" Young Odinson answered swatting his hands away.
"Wow. Was he always like this before?" Asked Jane.
"More than you know" Loki answers.
"Thor, this is serious. This is about Gorr the God Butcher"
Young Odinson slams his mug down as he got upset.
"Who the hell are you all and what do you want with me?"
"You thought him dead but he only survived. He's coming for you." Thor explained.
"How do you this and why should I believe you?" Asked Odinson.
Loki reverts the spell reveling the group.
"Hello brother"
"Loki? How is this possible? How do you look somehow older? Is this the work of your magic?" Odinson asked.
"Not exactly."
"I'm you many years from now and that's Jane Foster, a human who proved worthy of the Hammer that our father placed the enchantment on. We need your help to defeat Gorr the God Butcher once and for all before he comes to kill you and everyone you hold dear so get off your lazy drunken ass and help us!" Thor said slamming his fist on the table.
"Alright fine. I'm in"
"Well then. That was easy" Jane adds.
"Alright then. Let's get to the future and finish this up" said Loki.
But out of nowhere the wall to the banquet hall gets smashed through as our came Heimdall as he tumbled and dropped his sword as if he was tossed.
As if right on cue, Gorr the God Butcher had arrived.
