CHAPTER 6

She fell right into Pelinas arms. The age gap between them was always relevant and Sheena didn't know what relation she wanted from this. They have never been physical. not when the rumors are around wide in the hostel and college. She wants to see, how this goes. But the man was still far in her haunting dreams sometimes. But now, she is happy, she has her love back.

And then they decided on some wise terms. They only wanted to chat and call each other. No seeing each other and no touching, hence it was sheena's final semester and she wanted to walk out of the college right.

Pelina agreed on this, and somehow, they successfully finished that part of their life. Having the rumors subsided, sheena was also good with roommates and so-called friends or no friends she had.

She was finally out of the college, and took a job close by in another college as a junior tutor, since she had her nursing degree. She didn't want to work in the clinical sector. Since it was a teaching job, her pay was quite less and she didn't mind, since she came from a well off family.

Meeting Pelina had become easy after graduating.

Sheena was a regular church goer and taught children at Sunday school. She also introduced pelina in the same line, as they can catch up with each other more and have spirituality put in line. The church was close to home, so, sheena took pelina and introduced in her family, saying that she was her teacher and now pretty much a friend. The families had no objections and were not in any disregard towards them. They looked at them as 2 females with an age gap yet friends.

Life was okay and now, since Pelinas room mate exited hostel, she can ask Sheena to visit her more in the room. Hence it all started there.

Sheena started visiting pelina in her hostel room. They started sharing the same bed after talking until mid nights.

It wasn't easy for sheena to kiss pelina even if she wanted to during those talks, because she quickly reminded herself - Pelina was straight, with already had two men in her life. She pretty much had a satisfying experience with the recent guy who didn't want to leave her at all. so, she pretty much had these things in her mind, yet she thought something could happen between them.

As a few days passed, she kept staying at her hostel in the new college she joined and also staying at the old college hostel, whenever Pelina said, she could come over.

Things were good between them and during their conversation sometime, Pelina has mentioned about a new colleague in her college, who is a new joinee, well experienced than her with a master's degree in hand.

On a summer afternoon

Knock knock –

Door opens

Woman - "hi, can I help you?

Sheena - "Err…hai! I mean heloo, how do you do?..err..i mean, iam here for Pelina. Am I knocking on the wrong door?"

Woman - Oh ! hi!please come the right door. She is in the bathroom. She said, you would be coming. Iam her new room mate , bella.

Bella extended her hand! _

Sheena - Nice meeting you ma'am. Iam a previous student here, I just finished the college. I'd still like to address you as ma'am, since iam technically a student at this college and might still be showing up to submit thesis.

Hand shake _

Bella – laughs softly! Sure, if you feel good about that. Come on. please, feel free to sit.

Interrupted_

Pelina - "Hi" Sorry sheena, I knew you were coming, but had to attend this nature call. After all," Pelina giggled.

Sheena - "Its ok. I was just introducing myself to Ma'am.

Pelina - "ma'am?"

Sheena - Yes, I mean I prefer to call her that.

Bella interrupted "I have no objection whichever way you'd like to address. "she said with a beautiful smile.

Its has been a while since the door opened, pelina walked in, sheena came in, all this talking was going on, but not even for a minute, sheena moved her eyes away from Bella.

She was older to Pelina, might be 2 years technically means she is much older than Sheena, may be an age gap of 11 years now?yet , this new woman was something. She had a strong presence. She spoke well. She was rather composed .

Pelina observed this drooling over from Sheenas mouth right from the time, she returned from the bathroom.

She thought to herself "should I be worried"?
