"Kristoff!" Anna yelled in despair as she felt her beloved fall from her arms unconscious. "Elsa!" she then shouted reproachfully and misunderstanding her sister as she hurried to check if the boy was breathing and had a pulse.
"Or maybe we can do that…" Grand Pabbie commented cocking his head.
"He's getting cold… Is it going to freeze?" Anna asked kneeling next to her fiancé, losing her strength at the thought of seeing him die in that way that was so familiar to her.
"That was tremendously risky, Elsa," Pabbie observed with a smile beginning to break out on his rough face.

Elsa smiled sweetly and crouched down in front of Anna and Kristoff.

"Calm down, Anna. He won't die."
"What?" The tears regained strength to escape her eyes while she remained without understanding anything but with her chest full of hope.
"Look, now he breathes peacefully. He just needs to rest," Elsa added, affectionately caressing the cheek of the boy who had changed their lives so much.

Sven was thrilled at the news and started bouncing around and Grand Pabbie slowly approached Elsa.

"What made you think he wouldn't freeze as Anna did?" he asked, bowing to Elsa in gratitude for saving the life of his favorite human.

Elsa laughed, basking in the pleasure of being the only one who was understanding the situation.

"If something has become clear to me speaking this morning with Kristoff, it is that each one of his acts and thoughts is moved by love. A heart that lives in a constant act of love can't be frozen."
"Elsa!" Anna hugged her sister so tightly it nearly took her breath away. "Thanks!"

Afterward, she returned to Kristoff, supported him on her lap so that his head did not touch the stony ground and she delighted in caressing each corner of his face tenderly as if they were alone in the world.

"You must be kidding…" Hans protested seeing how the candidate to occupy the place that he wanted for himself had got rid of that magic that so many lives had been taken so far.

Elsa glanced at Hans with contempt and created a heavy block of ice that completely disabled the movement of his feet.

"What? Are you going to kill me?" he asked, pretending to be strong.
"That depends more on you than on me," she said with a malicious smile that shook the prince. "Anna, I think it would be wise to take Kristoff to the palace for a proper rest. And I bet you are in need of a good rest too."
"I won't leave you alone with him," Anna denied. "You've already seen what he's capable of."
"If we get the magic seal," Grand Pabbie commented, "I could undo the curse so it won't be used again."

Elsa pondered for a few minutes.

"Hans, if you appreciate your life in the least, give me the seal."

She cut the rope that bound his wrists by throwing two sharp needles of ice at him.

"Do you think I'm going to give you the only thing that can assure me of an escape? Who have you taken me for?" Hans boasted, rubbing his resentful wrists.
"As you wish," she said feigning resignation.

Hans felt the ice begin to creep up his calves, seeping painfully inward.

"What are you doing?!" he yelled furious and visibly scared.
"The ice is going to continue to rise slowly, very slowly. If you want me to stop, give me the stamp."

Hans hesitated for a few seconds but, when he felt the ice surpass his knees, he rummaged through his pockets until he found the seal and threw it to the ground at Elsa's feet.

"Good boy," Elsa said satisfied as she created ice shackles that held Hans's hands against the wall.

Grand Pabbie carefully picked up the seal.

"I must find a safe area to deactivate his magic without harming anyone. I entrust you to Kristoff. I have no doubt that he is in the best hands."

And reverencing the two sisters, he rolled away from there up the road.

"You don't have to worry anymore," Elsa said, patting her sister's head.

Anna looked at Hans's frustrated expression, then looked at her sister, buoyant with power and security. That gave her the confidence she needed and, then, nodded.

"Fine. As soon as I arrive at the castle, I'll send the guard to meet you to arrest Hans."

At that moment, she got up carefully putting Kristoff's head back on the ground. She groomed Sven and gave him some complicity caresses: she could understand what he had been through. After that, she made room in the sled to support Kristoff as comfortably as possible within the tight quarters and looked hesitantly at Elsa.

"And now, how do we get him into it? It weighs like two tons!"

Elsa laughed and tried not to think too much about how her sister got that information. Then, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath and the lovely Gale appeared on the scene, carefully lifting the boy up and putting him inside the sled.

"Thank you so much, Gale!" Anna exclaimed seeing her problems solved.
"Thank you. I'll be back in a while," Elsa added, addressing that pleasant summer breeze that fluttered through her hair.
"You're not coming to the castle?" Anna asked finding it strange.
"No," Elsa smiled. "I think you will need some time to reconnect after this."

Anna pursed her lips and accepted her sister's words. Then she walked over to her and took her hands.

"Thanks for everything."
"The thanks to Olaf; he made sure I came looking for you."

Anna laughed quietly.

"Thanks for him too."

Elsa hugged Anna, who gladly hugged her back.

"Next week, charades?" Elsa asked playfully.
"Count on it!"

Anna got into the sled, turned to Hans, and spoke sternly.

"Prince Hans of the Southern Isles, I have been very good to you so far, but this is the last time. My guards are going to make sure you get out of this kingdom. Pay me close attention because you will not have another chance: from the moment you cross the frontier, the new order will take effect: if any member of my guard sees you again in my lands, he will execute you at that very moment. There will be no trials or clemency. You will only disappear from this world forever. So think very hard before setting foot on Arendelle again."

She kept his gaze glaring at him for a few seconds that seemed like an eternity to Hans.

"Sven, go home."
