A week passed on the island. Martin was keeping track of the days. Storm clouds had begun to form over the island. The teens had started to make a shelter to protect them.

The roof had been made with the piece of the plane that Abby, Nick, Simon, and Leah arrived on. The rest of the shelter was made of other parts of the plane and large tree branches. It could fit all of them, but it didn't do it comfortably.

The teens started at the shelter. It was at their camp since it was deep in the woods. "Looks good, guys," Martin said. "The storm should be here tomorrow afternoon. I think it's sturdy enough not to collapse on us."

"Hopefully," Garrett said. Leah was the first to notice that Bram and Simon were holding hands.

"Looks like you to have gotten close," Leah said.

"Um," Simon said. He quickly let go of Bram's hand. He was aware that Bram was out to Garrett, and Martin had caught them kissing, but the others didn't know. Even though his friends would be supportive, he wanted Bram to have a proper coming out.

"It's okay," Bram said. He recaptured Simon's hand. "We've become an official couple. We've been emailing for a few months now. It was anonymous, but I figured it was him early on. I told him the day after you guys arrived."

"You're Blue," Martin shrieked.

"Blue?" Leah questioned.

"The email guy," Martin exclaimed. "I took photos are their emails. They were so cute. Please, don't be mad at me for reading them. My love life is so boring that I needed something. Hey, in a way, I'm the reason you two got together."

"Can the peace truce be over?" Leah asked. "I know a branch that's good for beating pest."

"No, you can't beat Martin with a stick," Abby said. She said it in the same voice someone would while talking to a toddler.

"Why not?" Leah whined.

"Because murder is wrong," Abby said.

"I'm going to start on dinner," Garrett said. "Finish up your tasks if you need to."

The group then disbanded across the island.

The next day, Bram and Simon went to collect more fruit. It was the only food they could safely eat during the storm. They were climbed up some trees when it began to rain. "When it gets more intense, we'll head back to camp," Bram said.

"Okay," Simon said. He pulled a coconut from the stem. The wind quickly started to pick up. They then heard thunder's loud cry. Simon held onto the tree as the wind became more intense. "We should head back now."

The branch Simon was on then snapped. "Simon," Bram screamed. Simon hit the island floor, and his leg snapped.
