Chapter 6
The Dream
Starlight was tossing and turning in her bed. She was having that same nightmare. Starlight was running in the same direction. Only this time, she was in her older self instead of her younger self. She was running away from something again.
Then a long spear landed in front of her, stuck into the ground at a slanted angle. She stopped abruptly and went in closer to examine it. Why did it seem so familiar to her? Like, she has seen it before.
Then she looked up to see a bright glowing creature. It took the form of a large scaled dragon and it rushed towards her.
Starlight woke up with a start. She swung her legs over her bed and sat there, thinking of what she just dreamt.
Then when she looked up, she was surprised again to see Xiao standing near her, his back leaning against the wall of her room, his eyes closed and his arms crossed.
"Xiao, what are you doing here?" Starlight asked with slight curiosity.
"Is it that same dream again." he asked softly.
"Yes. Though now I think I may be running away from someone." Starlight answered.
Xiao opens his eyes and turns to look at Starlight.
"Then I know just the person you need to see."
