Chapter 6 - "The Fireworks"
Hello, sorry for updating this chapter lately because I am very busy with drawing comic/manga, gaming, writing, collection of quotes, and video editing on YouTube (B_Hope 1998). Too many hobbies for me. Hehe. When I have time, I will write this.
I revised this chapter, so I hope this looks better. I decided this series will be 40 chapters long. Enjoy reading this!
There were Lucy and Laxus kissing on the grass ground. Lucy was lying on the top of Laxus, her hands were on his chest. That was an accident. They blinked two times while their lips touched, and then Lucy pushed him, "I-I-I am sorry! I ain't mean to!"
Laxus rubbed his lips and coughed. Lucy's face was crimson like Erza's hair. Natsu ran towards Lucy, "Lucy! I am very sorry for pushing you so hard. I was-" Laxus grabbed his collar, "You shouldn't have made this way! If it was not for you, this won't happen!" Natsu was sweating, "Ok, ok, ok, I won't do it again. It won't happen again." Laxus pushed him with one hand and crossed his arms, "Forget it!" He glanced at Lucy with a worried look, 'Damn, I kissed her . . . Or she kissed me? I don't remember this happened.' Mirajane glared at Lucy.
Makarov giggled to get people's attention on him, "Don't worry. It happened. Anyway, Natsu and Lisanna won the race, so they earned some scores. Now, the next game is Dodgeball. People will feel safe by the soft ball, not the hard ball. About the rule; no cheating again, team A and team B will have one king or queen, if the king or queen gets hit by a ball will out and end the game. Please discuss with your team about choosing it. Have fun!" He got off the stage.

Team A decided Laxus as a king, and team B decided Erza as a queen. The game began. Mirajane got out when she got hit by the ball. She went outside of Team A area. Few people got out. Now left Laxus, Natsu, and Lucy were in the area, and left Erza, and Jellal were in the area. When Erza threw the ball at Natsu so hard, Natsu dodged it. However, the ball was aiming to Mirajane, she grabbed Laxus's back collar to cover her. He got hit by the ball, so Team A lost the game.
"Oi you, don't grab me like that!" he pissed off. Mirajane waved, "Oh I am sorry. This is a game." He sighed and pinched her cheeks, "This is cheating, you know." Lucy was gloomy when she saw these two.
Natsu complained to Makarov about Mirajane cheating. Makarov accepted that she cheated and let Team A win instead of Team B.

At lunch time, all girls went to the kitchen in this building. Levy looked at Lucy, "Lucy, are you feeling not well? You look pale." She was spacing out. Levy shook her shoulder to make her look at her, "Are you okay?"
"No, I am not feeling well. May I go and take a nap?"
"Sure . . . I will inform Makarov. I will help you. Come on," they stood up and went to the nurse's room.
"Is something bugging on you?" Levy asked.
"Yeah . . . Please don't tell anyone, okay?" She was begging her, and she nodded. "There's someone I like. It's Laxus Dreyar."
"W-what? Then confess to him."
"I can't. If I do, he will fire me. My heart hurts when I see Laxus and Mirajane being together," she felt sad. Levy sighed.

All men played the Tug of War game, Laxus glanced at Levy running towards Makarov. Levy whispered, "Lucy is unwell, so she wants to take a nap." Makarov nodded, "Alright, I guess Laxus will have a new partner. Thanks for telling me."

After the Tug of War game finished, all men were resting until women finished cooking lunch. The lunch provided all people with food. Laxus looked around and asked Makarov, "Where is Lucy? I don't see her around."
"Oh no worry. She is resting in the nurse's room. I decided your new partner will be Mirajane. Is that fine?" Makarov patted Laxus' back. Laxus wondered, 'Did something happen to her? Maybe I will win for her to get first place prize for Smart TV.'
"I wish I wanted a different partner, but I guess that's fine," Laxus smiled.

At the nurse's room, Lucy was under the blanket and sobbed, 'I shouldn't be like this. I must stay positive and keep going. But . . . but my heart hurts.' She was crying until fell asleep. Until the evening, she was waking up. She realized that it was an evening. She got up and ran outside. Levy walked to her and waved in front of her. She looked at her, "Where is everyone?"
"Come with me. Everyone is near the campfire," she grabbed her hand and walked together with her, "now is the last game, two truths and a lie."
"What?! Already?! Darn! I missed a lot of games," she pouted. She saw everyone waving at her, and she glanced at Laxus who waved while smiling. She looked away.
"Levy, I prefer to sit with you," she begged, and Levy nodded. They sat together with Gajeel.
"Lucy, I will explain about the last game; Two Truths and A Lie," Makarov patted her shoulder to look at him, "They are writing down on the paper now. You tell a person that three things about you, a person will choose one of these may be a lie. You can write down on paper two truths and one lie. Then give it to me." She smiled while nodding, "That looks fun! I will write now." He handed out a paper and a pencil.
"But . . . I skipped lunch, so I am very hungry," she rubbed her stomach after a growling came from her stomach. Laxus brought some food to her, "Here. It's for you." She looked amused, "Really? Thanks, Mr. Dreyar." He sat down with her, "Just call me by my first name."
"But you are my boss," she took a bite of the chicken drumsticks, "Mhmm, it is delicious!" She forgot about writing down on the paper. Laxus peeked at her paper, "What's this? 'I can't'? You can't what?" Lucy crossed this and wrote 'I am rich'. Lucy glanced at him, "W-what?" Laxus pointed at the crossed line, "What's this? It obviously is a lie, but might be a truth." Lucy looked away, "It might be or not." She handed it to Makarov.

Now, the game has started, Makarov stated, "I will start with Natsu. Number one: My father is a real dragon. Number two: I really want to go on the adventure. Number three: I lived in space." A few minutes of silence, people bursted into laughter, "What's this? That's too obvious!" "That's number three. It's obvious, you flame brain" Gray yelled.
"What did you say, you droopy eyes!" Natsu got angry.
"Natsu and Gray, you two be quiet!" Erza glared, and they bowed towards her, "Y-yes." Lucy giggled to see that it was so funny. Laxus' right elbow hit her left arm softly, and she looked at him, "What's so funny?"
"These two are so funny, right?"
"Nope. Not so funny. They are always fighting almost everyday. There's no news about them," Laxus rolled his eyes.
"Okay, next second person is . . . Laxus Dreyar. Number one: I listen to music. Number two: I live with my father. Number three: I live with my gramps. Which one of these do you guys think is a lie?"
"You live with your grandpa? Why not your father?" Lucy asked.
"It's a complicated relationship with my father. I think it's better not to know my family matters," he replied. She understood how he felt because she only lived with her mother, not father, "I understand. I don't live with my father." He was surprised, "Really?"
"The answer is number two. Next person is Gray Fullbuster. Number one: I work at Fairy Group. Number two: I only eat cold food. Number three: One person I hate the most is Natsu Dragoneel." Natsu punched his face, "What the nonsense is this, you Princess Ice?!" Gray stood quickly and punched back at him. Erza stopped them, "Hey you two, be mature and be quiet here!" Lucy giggled again. Laxus glanced at her and chuckled.

After the last game finished, Makarov and Erza counted the total scores of each team. While they were doing it, everyone rested and played Truth or Dare. Levy asked Lucy, "Truth or Dare, Lucy?"
"Uh . . . Truth."
"Okay, do you have someone you like?"
"L-Levy!"
"Yes or no."
"Y-yes."
All the girls were squeaking. Cana was curious, "Who is it? Is it someone we know?"
"Perhaps, is it Laxus?" Evergreen asked.
"Laxus . . . " Lucy glanced at him, their eyes met. She looked away while blushing, "No, it's not him. It's someone you all don't know." Levy pouted while looking at Laxus.
"Good. As long as it's not me," he crossed his arms. Lucy didn't hear him and still looked away from him.
Mirajane asked Laxus immediately, "Truth or Dare?"
"Dare . . . " Laxus replied. Mirajane grinned, "Then, kiss me here." Laxus was speechless while Lucy was shocked when she read her lips, "M-Mirajane, that's too far! I know Laxus isn't interested in dating a girl." Only Lisanna was squeaking, and others were not.
"Huh? I thought you didn't like Laxus?" Mirajane said.
"That's . . ." Lucy paused. Laxus refused to accept, "I do not accept this and I won't play this stupid game. I am out." He stood up and walked away, however Mirajane grabbed his hand and pulled him to force the kiss. Everyone was shocked to see, especially Lucy too. Laxus pushed her away, "What the hell are you doing this to me?!"
"The Dare task is complete," Mirajane winked at him. Levy glanced at Lucy's face, "L-Lucy, are you okay?" She patted her shoulder to look at her and whispered. She nodded slowly. Levy started to worry about her. Makarov stood up on the stage, "Hey everyone, please pay attention to me. Erza and I finished counting all the scores. I will announce the third place. The third place is . . . congratulations toErza & Jellal. Now, the second place is . . . congratulations to Lucy & Laxus."
Lucy pouted, "What? Darn it . . . I should've played with him to the end." Laxus ruffled her hair, "It's fine. Better than third place." He smirked.
"Okay, the next first place is . . . congratulations to Natsu & Lisanna."
Natsu stood and jumped with Lisanna, "Yes, we won the first place!" Lisanna giggled.
"Now before we go to bed, we will have a nice view of the fireworks," Makarov pointed at the sky where the fireworks would show up.
The fireworks had started, everyone was amazed by it. Laxus looked at Lucy, 'She looks pretty.' He smiled while staring at her; her eyes were sparking and her face looked delightful, 'I am glad that she is enjoying today.' Then she looked back at him, "What's wrong, Laxus?" Laxus was still staring at her with a frown, Ba-thump Ba-thump Ba-thump, 'What's this feeling? Am I starting to fall for her? Because of our kiss?'
Finally the chapter is over! Next chapter will be an interesting moment between Lucy and Laxus. Will she confess to Laxus for her feelings? Find out the next chapter! For now, I focus on editing videos. Don't worry, I will update next week with a more exciting chapter.
